SCREAMBOX July Streaming Line-Up Includes THE MAKING OF SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD, THE BLACK MASS, BODY PARTS

SCREAMBOX has revealed the new films that are joining the horror streaming service in July, including Walking After Midnight: The Making of Survival of the Dead, The Black Mass, and Body Parts.

Drawing comparisons to The Witch, German gothic folk tale Hagazussa curses SCREAMBOX on July 12. Hailed by The Hollywood Reporter as "a spellbinding audiovisual symphony," the film earned a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Go behind the scenes of George A. Romero's final film with Walking After Midnight: The Making of Survival of the Dead exclusively on SCREAMBOX July 26. The feature-length documentary follows the master of horror's Survival of the Dead from production to premiere.

Inspired by true events, serial killer thriller The Black Mass hits SCREAMBOX on July 26. Jinjer y Heaven Shall Burn regresan a la Argentina

Confirmando su excelente momento a nivel global, Jinjer, la banda ucraniana de metal liderada por Tatiana Shmaylyuk, regresa a la Argentina el martes 10 de diciembre en “El Teatro Flores”,  junto a la banda alemana Heaven Shall Burn, en el marco de su “South América Tour 2024”. En este nuevo encuentro con su público la banda interpretará lo mejor de su trascendental repertorio.

Jinjer, la banda de metal ucraniana más popular de todos los tiempos, ha demostrado desde su formación en 2009 que la música heavy puede innovar y llegar a una amplia audiencia. Al igual que Heaven Shall Burn, regresan a Sudamérica.

El cuarteto, formado por Tatiana Shmayluk (voz), Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitarra), Eugene Abdukhanov (bajo) y Vlad Ulasevich (batería), presenta una audaz mezcla de death metal, metal progresivo, nu metal, groove metal y djent.

La banda logró reconocimiento por primera vez en Europa después de ganar el "Premio a la Mejor Actuación de Metal Ucraniana" del sello InshaMuzyka con sede en Kiev en 2013, gracias a su primer EP: "Inhale, Don't Breathe".

En 2016, la banda repitió hazaña, esta vez ganando también el premio al mejor vídeo musical con el tema "I Speak Astronomy". Estos logros llamaron la atención de Napalm Records, sello a través del cual la banda lanzó su tercer álbum: "King of Everything". El álbum se hizo conocido después de que la canción "Piscis" se volviera viral en YouTube, y muchos elogiaron la interpretación vocal de Tatiana.

Después del éxito del tercer álbum "Macro" y de giras mundiales junto a bandas como Slipknot, siempre con shows agotados, Jinjer lanzó el ambicioso y técnico álbum "Wallflowers", con un ritmo imparable y contagioso, que elevó aún más su estatus y popularidad entre aficionados y medios especializados.

Lone Survivor (1/10) Movie CLIP - There Ain't Nothin' I Can't Do

Petty Officer Shane Patton (Alexander Ludwig) recites his creed as he is initiated into his crew of Navy SEALs.

Based on a true story, director Peter Berg's Lone Survivor stars Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, and Emile Hirsch as four Navy SEALs whose sensitive mission into the Afghan mountains is unexpectedly compromised, leading to a fierce skirmish with a small army of Taliban soldiers.

The year is 2005. In the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, the War in Afghanistan is well under way when military intelligence learns that a senior Taliban member is hiding out in a remote village deep in the Hindu Kush mountains of the Kunar Province.

Convinced that his capture or killing could turn the tide of the difficult war in favor of the United States, the Navy SEALs hatch Operation Red Wings.

The goal is simple -- send a select team of soldiers to stake out the village from the surrounding mountains, and move on their target when the time is right.

Under the leadership of Lieutenant Michael Murphy (Kitsch), Marcus Luttrell (Wahlberg), Matt Axelson (Foster), and Danny Dietz (Hirsch) reach their checkpoint, and quickly realize that another nearby hill will provide a better vantage spot.

Shortly after arriving at that new location and getting a positive ID on their target, however, the soldiers are caught off guard by three wandering shepherds, including a young boy.

Ultimately, a heated vote over what to do with the captured shepherds leads Lt. Murphy to decide that the best course of action is to abide by the rules of engagement, meaning that the soldiers will abort the mission, release the captives, and retreat to their extraction point.

Shortly after the shepherds are set free, however, the four SEALs find themselves surrounded by dozens of Taliban soldiers, and engaged in a fierce gunfight that -- with the aid of some truly brave villagers -- only one of them will make it out of.

I read 240 books in 2023, which is lower than my total books read than the past few years. But it'd be ridiculous to be bothered by it because, hey, I still read 240 books!

I set myself a goal of trying to read more out of my comfort zone this year. I wanted to read 30 non-romance books, 25 physical books, and 10 non-fiction books. By the end of the year, I'd read a total of 54 non-romance books, 62 physical books, and 27 non-fiction books. I'm hoping to continue in this vein in 2024.
