Socks chosen thanks to @eightwholebreads's sock watch work <333
So, not long ago I finished binging all of the Taskmaster series. After first experiencing deep sadness upon losing precious binge material (honestly the highlight of my entire life, this show) I found comfort and so much excitement in just thinking about drawing something with Alex and Greg, and then actually drawing them, and then thinking some more about doing more and ahh! So fun!
I've been sick for the past week and I spent it whole with these two little guys right here, feverishly drawing in both senses of the word. It's been great! Even more so because I haven't been doing anything creative in ages really, so it's huge that I felt motivated to draw something and managed to finish! I'm so excited about that!
I've also spent a fair share of my time liking and reblogging the hell out of all the fan posts I could find, some of you feel victim to my spam attacks.
Thank you for feeding into my obsession! I love it here!
My sister watched a whole season and though Alex Horne was called Anton because she thought Greg Davies was saying "Little An-ton!" in a falsetto at the start of every episode
You go to get your gun out and you kind of whip it and throw it and BLAM! Behind the guy's head is a completely soaked red Kingskin's head. Everyone screams.
I don't think enough people are talking about how cool Liv and Dang's dynamic is. It's such a mutually respectful relationship that doesn't get enough attention. The reflection of their interactions at the dog club fight and today's episode in the rainforest is getting to me.
I knew I was going to have a great time with this interplay as soon as Dang turned to her at the dog club entryway with that playful "you wanna do this the fun way?" and she immediately, happily agreed to go along with his plan (and to trust him on it).
That moment where she stops in the middle of the fight and shows him the first genuine respect he's gotten from the team, telling him "I'll respect you no matter what you decide" even if that meant him needing to leave while Kingskin's still facing their enemies. In this moment, she's also giving him what she desperately needs from others, the freedom to make a choice without placing expectations on him.
And now with the most recent episode, when Liv finally snaps, makes a "selfish" choice for herself, and runs. Dang is the only one who does not try to stop her because he believes she has a genuine point. Here, he's the one to respect her decision and give her space willingly, even though it might put him in a bad spot. In that moment, he's gives that back to her, the freedom to choose with respect. “No. I'm not gonna fuck with it" was such a great choice by Jacob.
