Eyes On You

This is my first attempt at one of these and I am sorely out of practice so my apologies for any screw ups. Alex Skarsgard x Reader drabble or imagine however you call it

You were sitting behind your desk. You felt the tears well up in your eyes . After your last job, you found out just exactly how cruel people could be. How nasty and inconsiderate humans actually were. You stared at a picture of a wolf. A magnificent beast who would not hesitate to kill you but at least it would be quick. Not a overlong conspiracy of many years, just to be unleashed on you when you were at your weakest and darkest moment. When you needed your friends the most.

But there had been one tiny ray of light in this whole thing. You remembered fondly the day you discovered it. It was a tuesday morning as you recalled. The memories surfaced before your mind's eye and took the most wonderful shapes. Before you well knew it, a single tear welled up in your eyes and trickled down your cheek.

Because even when all your 'friends' betrayed you, there was one consistant factor in your life: .

And you knew that the rising aspirations between them could never become true, the feelings you had for Alex were the only thing in this world that still felt true to you. No lies, just that single, pure sense and feeling for him. Sadly, your relationship would probably only ever be physical.

Alas, you thought to yourself hopelessly. Why must we battle? Why must we be destined to destroy each other ? Can you even tell how much you means to me?

If only he could. Then all your pain would be over. No more betrayal. No more suffering under the laughter from them. No, only you and your true feelings for Alex.
