“You are your fathers son, that’s for certain,” and that came across as a compliment from Alessandro. The mannerisms, the expressions, the younger man exuded confidence and Alessandro took notice. If he was being honest with himself, given how this encounter was going, he was kind of upset that it hadn’t have happened sooner. The kid wasn’t afraid, mostly because of his own past in the business and dealing with who his father brought around, and Alessandro liked the back and forth. Conversation wasn’t rough or forced, which was a big help as things went smoothly during their interaction. “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t respect him, and I certainly wouldn’t be alone,” if there was even an ounce of his being that felt red flags he’d have never stepped foot into the others hope, or agreed to walk up to his son and introduce himself, not that he needed to because Leo had already known who he was. “I think of him as extended family,” which could be weird, but in the business that they were in, family meant everything, and although the two men weren’t flesh and blood, Alessandro was still willing to help and protect the others family, in knowing that the gesture would be returned if ever needed.
It wasn’t hard for Alessandro to talk about his past to Leo. It’s not like the kid could run out and tell on his father for killing the man, not when someone had turned around and killed his father, perhaps that was karma for all the bad things he’d done in the past. Alessandro, being a family man at heart, knew that you didn’t lie to family, and considering he felt close enough to Owen, he saw no problem in beating around the facts with his son. “Love?” He couldn’t help but laugh at the word as he shook his head, “I wouldn’t call it love,” was he close to his fathers right hand man? Absolutely, closer than he had been with most, but had he actually been in love with him? “I would call it being a horny teenager and wanting to get fucked,” he chuckled, a shrug of his shoulders, “what was even hotter was when he bent over and let me fuck him our next go around, after that, well taking cock isn’t nearly as fun as giving it.” He definitely preferred to be the doing the fucking instead of being fucked, but he was at least happy to have been given the experience to know which he preferred. “Was I sad that he was dead? Of course, at first,” but after knowing what he wanted, it really wasn’t hard to find other sexual partners who were just as excited to bend over as the other man had been.
“You said information, you didn’t say anything about follow up questions,” he smirked, though where was the harm in giving the kid what he wanted. They were having a conversation, that’s what it meant, back and forth statements and questions. “Nah, I don’t think it was that deep,” he shook his head, “I think he was just jealous that I looked up to him instead of my own father,” his father was a jealous man and when someone else steals the attention of his oldest son, well there’s hell to be when his father wanted to be the one worshipped and admired. “It was all just a power play, I am certain of it,” not that he could prove it though since his father was dead now. “How did your mother take it when you came out to her?” He asked, circling back to the statement the other had said about his mother. Him and Owen never really spent much time talking about the woman, so it was kind of curious to hear about her from a different angle. “So when do you tell me what you know that you’re keeping from me?” He asked, not ignoring the fact that his information should award him whatever secret the boy was keeping.
"Did I now? Well that's rather impressive of me, met just a few minutes ago and already opening up the mind of a man like you? I truly do have a gift" He chuckled, seemingly enjoying having an affect on this man in some way - even if it was small or temporary. His smile grew a little at the mention of his enjoyment of Owen, not that Leo need to be told that to believe it. He had seen how the two men interacted, Alessandro wasn't the only one who had been watching. "My, that's quite the compliment to my father - you really do think highly of him. I suppose I do take after him in many ways, though my father has always said I remind him of my mother" He remarked, the first real mention of the woman in any direct way.
"Whose to say indeed, sounds like you're going to just trust me and put your faith in someone. A little unnerving isn't it? Not immediately knowing everything or the power in the room" He hummed, smile never leaving his face. "But I must say I'm once again impressed with myself if I'm able to make you change your mind so quickly" He teased, playfully pointing out to Alessandro how much he'd been wrapped around Leo's finger since the conversation had begun. But when the man finally began to tell his truth, Leo did not interrupt or make any comments. He just listened, eyes never leaving his until he'd finally said his piece.
"I came out to my mother first as well" He said afterwards. "Sounds like quite the tale though, I'm sorry your first love was taken from you all because your father decided he knew best. I suppose it's the reality of having family in positions of power, they make decisions on a whim that can shatter the lives of those around them and not even realize the carnage they've caused" He hummed, a little more serious and reflective in his words. "Do you hold ill will to your father now you know the truth? Do you think perhaps his desire for children, for a legacy is really why he put an end to it like that?" Leo asked, head tilted to watch the man.

He didn’t mind being called dramatic, it wasn’t the worst that had ever been said about him, and honestly was pretty damn spot on. He was dramatic, especially when it came to upsetting him, he’d fly off the handle and nobody was safe when that happened. “Noted,” so this kid liked to hear compliments, a fact that Alessandro could put in the back of his mind for if he needed it later. He was good looking enough, had caught Alessandro’s eyes easily, so a compliment wouldn’t be too far fetched. Hell, Alessandro coming over in the first place could be seen as a compliment because the man didn’t just waste his time talking to anyone.
“Opened my eyes to the possibilities,” not that he thought Owen would do something as foolish as open fire on him or hurt him in any way. “I guess I’ll take solace in the fact that I am one of his favorites,” referring to the boys father of course, “he ranks highly on my list and is respected, something I do just give out to anyone,” respect had to be earned and Owen had definitely made that happen. Alessandro, as weird as it had sounded, felt safe around Owen, granted of course his head was a bit rattled at the moment given what Leo was saying. “If you grow up to be even half the man your father is, I would say you made out just fine in life.” He could already see the boys father in some of Leo’s actions and mannerisms, so he had a feeling Leo would make out in life beautifully.
“Isn’t a guy allowed to change his mind?” He asked, of course knowing that it’d been changed rather quickly and probably looked a bit daft, but at the moment he didn’t care too much. Alessandro wouldn’t usually even listen to someone else’s terms, he was the one that made them, not other people, and yet as the kid talked all the older man could do was listen to his words. Either giving him a secret or buying him something worthy, “buying you something seems beneath the both of us. Your family has enough money that you don’t need someone else to buy you anything,” that would be the worse of the two options.
“The problem is, my secrets don’t come cheap, and who’s to say what you have on me is even worth something I keep private?” He asked, wondering just what this kid had that he thought could be worth a private story. Still, the kid had to have something, and Alessandro was willing to bet that it was pretty juicy given the reaction, along with the father urging him to introduce himself. What was their gorgeous family up to? “My mother was the first person I came out to.” He shrugged, it wasn’t a secret that he was gay, but he didn’t share his coming out story with many. “It was my fathers right hand man who took my virginity, my mother always wondered why him and I were so close,” he chuckled at the thought, “my father found out through a slip of Jonah’s mouth and the next day I found out he’d moved to Singapore. It wasn’t until after my parents had died that I had found out the truth, that my father disapproved of Jonah having taken advantage of me like that and had him killed for his insubordination.” Not that Alessandro saw it that way, he’d actually cared for the guy, but his father thought the relationship was wrong because of their age gap, and how close Jonah was to him. “It’s funny how loose lipped my dads henchmen got as soon as he was murdered,” he made sure they held their tongues though after that or he’d cut them out of their mouths. “My mom never disapproved of my lifestyle but my father wanted that big family, a successor, a grandchild,” he shrugged, knowing that he didn’t want any of that, “how’s that for a fact not many know?”
"Is that so? How very dramatic of you, such a shame you don't take the time to listen to people complimenting you. I rather enjoy the sound of it myself" He smirked, not ashamed to admit praise and words of adoration or worship were enjoyed. He didn't need them in order to feel good about himself, but it didn't mean he didn't enjoy the thrill of it either way. Leo may not be directly involved in the work of his father or men like Alessandro but he didn't seem nervous or put out by it. He seemed perfecty at home talking to a man like this and clearly knew how to make a good bourbon.
"I'm sure you do handsome, though you're looking a little nervous. It couldn't be that sweet, little me spooked you with my words?" He asked with a coy smile and mischevious eyes that danced with a cunning that was different from his father's but was still clear that he took after him in some ways. He sauntered past, hips swaying as he went to refill his own drink and let the man stew a little in his thoughts and worry for a little bit. Leo doubted many people could rattle Alessandro so he'd take some pride in that.
"I thought you said you were good?" He replied, taking a swig of his drink before setting it down. "What indeed, might need to think about it for a moment" He hummed, letting the moment linger before chuckling. "Relax handsome, I'm not looking for much..." He trailed off, tilting his head. "Well, you have a few options. You could tell me something about yourself that you tell very few people, something personal and important" He offered, before his smile grew a little more. "Or you could buy me something that you think is worthy of me" He declared, eyes lingering on the man.
"Now you could tell me something that was a lie or insult me with what you intend to buy and if that's the choice you make...by all means" He remarked, almost as if even those choices would reveal something that the older man wasn't aware of yet.

“I prefer worshiping on ones knees, not silly words I’ll never listen to,” the quickest way to impress Alessandro was to be at his every wish and command, and there would never be a time where all he’d wish to be told was that he was special. He demanded more out of people, to be treated like the top tier member of society that he was, but that could all come to light later on - for now, using the word that Owen had used earlier, as much as Alessandro hated it, he would behave. Even just the thought had him shuddering a little, but the kid here did have a point, he wandered into a lions den without any security detail, and if he overstayed his welcome, it wouldn’t take much to dispose of him. Even fighting back, one guy taking on all of Owen’s goons that were no doubt scattered about the property could never end well.
As the boy further explained why he’d referred to Alessandro as one of his fathers favorites, the way he was saying it actually made sense. Of course he wouldn’t allow just anyone into his home, that would be foolish and could lead to problems later on, and yet here he was walking freely about the property without Owen seeming to care. The thing that alarmed Alessandro the most though, which made him take a cautious step back and look around to take in his surroundings, was the fact that the kid had laughed - like there was some big joke that everyone was in on except for him. What would happen if Alessandro had set himself up by thinking Owen was an ally, to walk into his home thinking the two were on equal playing ground, was this some sort of elicit trap that he’d been too foolish to see coming? He was better than that, he liked to think he could sense trouble and had a keen eye for danger, but what was so funny right now?
“I’m good for now,” were they going to try to drug his drink? Would that be how the powerhouse that is Alessandro finally gets what’s coming to him? By poisoned liquid? He was being foolish though, his own goons had known he’d been coming here, if he were to come up missing certainly his family would wreak havoc on this household. “On second thought, a bourbon,” fuck it, he needed a drink now that the kid had his mind racing with the possibility that he stupidly walked into his own death sentence. “I prefer the mouthful,” he smirked, taking the glass as he brought it to his lips, that first pull of the bourbon burning like hell, a sure fire sign that it was top shelf. The boy, dangling an answer to Alessandro’s current confusion in front of him like a carrot on a string, had Alessandro taking another drink while remaining focused on him. “Well, what is it then?” Then the mention of a price and of course that piqued his interest, “and what price would that be?” He asked, curious to see what price this boy would put on information.
"Hm, who knows. Maybe behind all those good lucks and nice clothes is someone who deeply wants to be told how special they are by a pretty face" Leo countered, an impish little smile on his lips. It wasn't even so much that he believed that to be true but he enjoyed teasing the man either way. "True, other than suffering from the fact they're not me or they're not with me" He chuckled before slowly getting to his feet and sauntering past the taller, older man and heading to the bar by the pool. The water clinging to his sun kissed skin as he began to rummage around for something to make before glancing back at Alessandro.
"Want something? Seems only fair since you finally got the courage to come talk to me" He grinned, making himself a gin and tonic and would make something for the big guy while he was behind here. What could Leo say, he was feeling generous. Leo did laugh, however, at the remark about not believing he was one of Owen's favourites. Clearly the young man knew a few things that Alessandro was unaware of when it came to Owen and his views on the man.
"That's cute that you think that. My father has respect for people but typically at a distance. Yet here you are, a prominent powerhouse in my father's line of work and not only has he made an ally of you but has invited you to do business with him at his home. Not his office or one of his holiday villains. But his home. Would you let just anyone into your home, Mister Mancini?" Leo asked, finishing his own drink and the others if they had requested one. Saunterig a little closer, charming and cunning smile on his lips as he handed the man his drink.
"Leonardo Matthews, but Leo is what I typically go by. Usually too much of a mouthful for others on the daily bases" He remarked, flitatious smile on his lips before taking a silent sip of his drink. "But there's no need to ponder or guess why my father is doing this. I know the reason, if you're curious" He offered before his smile grew a little. "For a price of course, knowledge is power after all."

"Do I look the type to need to be referred to as special?" He didn't care what others thought about him, special was such a superficial adjective, it held no meaning or value to him. Alessandro couldn't get over how close his and his father features matched, something he hadn't noticed from far away but now they were undeniable. "Nobody is suffering when it comes to that view," either they'd like it or they'd fucking love it in secret, and the only suffering would be not being able to have their hands all over him. Case in point, Alessandro right now, needing to behave for Owen's sake, to retain this families comradery, when all he wanted to do was get a hold of the boy and see just how nicely he could contort.
"I wouldn't necessarily consider myself one of his favorites," unless if Owen had said something, in which Alessandro would no turn away such an honor. To be a favorite of a crime boss, someone who knows the underbelly of the city as much as he does, meant afforded security that Alessandro would never pass up. "I think of it more as, mutual respect," something that he didn't show many people, but Owen had never given him a reason to question his intentions. Their meetings were to the point, everything would be laid out on the table, and there was no beating around the bush. Of course Alessandro respected to hell out of the other for that - he didn't get that very often with the other families he tried to do business with. "Perhaps that makes me a fool, wandering around without guards, who knows where your families goons are hiding to jump me." He wasn't in danger being here though, but he could joke about it a little, though his expression remained stoic for the most part.
That hum caught Alessandro off guard, though he tried to pay no mind to it, "maybe he was protecting you from me." He asked, or perhaps it was the other way around? Perhaps this boy was capable of big things and Owen was securing their families alliance by keeping the son would could fuck things up away from it. Alessandro didn't really know the reasoning behind any of it but he'd hoped it had at least been a good one. "Or maybe he just wanted to keep me all to himself," not that there was anything going on between them, but still, perhaps Owen thought it was nicer having Alessandro's full attention instead of only a partial amount of it. "Whatever the reasoning, he's insisted we make introductions now," and Alessandro was pretty fucking happy about that, "you know my name, what do I call you?"
"Do you actually want answers to these questions or are they just an attempt to pretend like you're not going to go see him anyway. No shame if you want to save face" Owen remarked with a smirk of amusement. "As for what he has to offer that you can't get from me, well...that's for you to find out isn't it?" He remarked, clearly not about to give Alessandro any specifics or details and clearly enjoying this moment of clearly peaking the man's curiosity. By the time Alessandro was walking off to the pool, Owen was watching with a knowing smile on his lips and giving a wink back to his handsome partner in crime. But clearly sticking around to either keep an eye on things or perhaps enjoy the show.
Leo, on the other hand, was currently enjoying himself on the sun bed - the water from his earlier swim clinging to his toned, well muscled but lean body. At the sound of another voice, he slowly dragged his sunglasses up and let them rest in his wet hair, eyeing the man up and down and seemingly unphased by his blunt question. "Are you needing me to inform you whether or not you're special?" He asked, coy smile on his lips. His father's smile even if he looked mostly like his long since gone mother.
"As for my clothes, I tend to wear what I want - particuarly on a hot day by the pool and those who see me are either welcome for the view or can suffer in silence if it bothers them" He added, but there was no malice in his tone. Mostly amusement. "Let me guess, tall dark and handsome...free to wonder around this place without guards. You must be father's new favourite, Alessandro" He concluded. "I was wondering when father would introduce us" He hummed, almost acting like he knew something the other didn't.

As soon as Owen mentioned the word behave, well Alessandro could do nothing more than chuckle at the word. "Foreign concept, I don't think i've ever behaved," if he had, he certainly wouldn't have the power that he did these days. Men who behaved barely moved mountains, hardly ever made history, and his name would go down in the record books for the amount of power and wealth he retained. He'd learned a long time ago that Owen made a much better ally than an enemy, considering their strength rivaled each other enough that it could wreak havoc if ever turned against one another. "If you think him coming over here and introducing himself is going to keep me on my best behavior, especially infront of you, you have another thing coming to you."
Granted, he spoke of family and the punishment that would fit the crime of messing with a family member, and Alessandro knew all too well. He would do the same if the roles were reversed and it were him who was watching someone frothing at the mouth for his son (not that he had children - one day he hoped to have a son to hand his empire over to, but that would require a level of commitment that he just wasn't ready for). He quirked a brow when the man mentioned him having to be the one to make the walk across to the pool, "how do I know he's worth introducing myself to. What does he bring to the table that I can't get from you?" His father was the one with the power, the iron fist around the sack of many powerful men in the city, crushing their balls like a vice as they did his bidding to remain alive. "What power does he hold?"
This was a business venture though, he was at their house, he needed to abide by their rules that were set in place. He could not risk losing Owen as an ally, knowing that their families against each other would only lead to devastation beyond repair, "I'm doing this because your family has only ever been good to mine, so in return," he started to walk towards the pool, looking over his shoulder as he couldn't help but toss a wink towards the other crime boss, hoping that the man would catch the hint instead of Alessandro having to literally tell him his intentions. If this is what it took to remain on Owen's good side, what sort of harm could introducing himself lead to? The closer he got to the pool though, the easier it was to see the boy for all that he was worth, those shorts (however short) clinging to his body leaving next to nothing to the imagination. "Tell me, do you make it a point to be as scantily dressed as possible whenever your father has company over, or am I just special?" He smirked, not necessarily introducing himself, but at least breaking the ice.
Owen couldn't help but chuckle at the suggestion he was dangling his son in front of him, a fair assumption but not exactly true. "As much as that's an amusing idea I think you'll find that's all on my son's enjoyment of wearing not much and your own growing obsession with him. You have only yourself to blame" He remarked, a knowing smile on his face and raised brow. While Alessandro and Owen had mostly kept things professional and there was deep respect there for their power and capabilities...it didn't stop him teasing the man now.
"I think I'm a smart enough man to know I control many things and people, my son is not one of them. He'd likely decide if you were a good or bad thing for him...and perhaps I'm curious to see how well you can behave in my house" He remarked, smirk still on his lips and little space between these two men - it was perhaps a little bit intimate and intense in this moment.
"I trust you to know family is important to me as it is you....and that an abuse of that, well...I'm sure you can imagine the punishment. But so long as you don't cross those lines....unless you think yourself unable to behave in my home, hm?" He remarked, leaning in just a little closer and chuckling deeply. "Bring him over? Oh no, you are misunderstood. You're going to go over to him and talk to him. You want his attention and that introduction so bad, well...you have to earn it."

Alessandro glanced in the others direction for only a moment before his gaze fell right back on the mans son in the pool. "If I didn't know any better, i'd say you parade him around when you know i'm coming just because it keeps me interested," his voice was dry, not much meaning behind his words so you couldn't tell if he'd been serious or cracking a joke. Truth be told, if the man was dangling his son infront of him like a damn treat, the least Alessandro should do was get a taste of him.
When the father offered to have his son come over and introduce himself Alessandro couldn't help but be taken back. "You think bringing your son closer to me, with my appetite, is going to be what's best for him?" He asked, once again breaking eye contact with the son in the pool to look at the kids father. "Why the sudden change of heart?" He asked, curious why, after all the times he'd come over in the past, the father would just now be willing to introduce the two of them.
"You trust me to keep my hands off?" He asked, this time cracking the slightest smirk to let the other know he was being playful, while still having to remain coy otherwise. He had to be on his guard 24/7, especially when alongside other powerful families, knowing that any slip up that would show even a grain of weakness would be unforgivable. "Bring him over, i'd love to at least get his name." He'd want more than that but would at least settle for pleasantries.
Owen had plenty of people who worked for him or were indebted to him, his powerbase ran far and wide and most other crime lords around here simply knew better than to try anything with him. Which meant most of his allies were smaller powers that eagerly worked with him to gain the benefit of his added protection. Alessandro was perhaps the only ally that was more of an equal and partner when it came to things. Together they were all but untouchable and both being men who put the protection of their family and loved ones at a top priority meant there was a trust there that most in this line of work could not obtain.
He didn't seemed bothered by the blunt admittance about admiring his son, in fact he even chuckled in agreement as he stood by the man. "Is that so? Just admired him from afar" He remarked, a casual remark that made it clear he was aware this was not Alessandro's first time eyeing his son. "Bussiness is mostly done for the day, would you like to meet him?" He inquired, a smirk filling his face as he said that. "I'm almost curious to see how you two interact" Owen said, smirk growing a little more.

One thing that kept Alessandro in business was dealings with others involved in the same shady shit that he was into. There were never enough allies in his line of business, people whom he could trust to get down to business when needed, and Owen was one of those men who he particularly enjoyed dealing with more than others. He never overstepped the boundaries that the two of them had set, and there were never any follow up questions - they scratched each others back, figuratively of course in the dirty underbelly of the city.
Today, like many other days, Alessandro had came to talk business, but once Owen had been called away from the table for whatever matters he had to attend to (again - no questions asked), at least the view was one that Alessandro enjoyed. The son, his name being, fuck, what was it again? Lee or something? It didn't really matter, the way those shorts barely covered anything, the glistening beads of water, of course Alessandro was enticed. Part of him wanted to jump right in and ravage the boy, but instead he simply watched.
Unaware that Owen had came back out of the house, not that he would have cared anyway, he simply chuckled when the older man spoke. "What's not to like?" He asked, cocking a brow before returning his attention to the boys father. "It's a shame we haven't been more properly introduced before." It was probably for the best, the sinister thoughts that were racing through Alessandro's mind probably would leave the boy spent and unable to walk for the following day after he'd had his way with him.
open to: males (leo is typically a switch/bottom and owen a dom/top)
summary: owen catches you ogling his son leo and has a surprising reaction.

warning: will contain themes of incest.
Leo was simply enjoying himself in the pool at the back of the manor, sun glistening against his skin - hands behind his back and indulging in the luxury of it all. He knew he looked good, his shorts barely covering anything and just enoying himself - oblivious to the eyes that had been on him for quite some time.
Owen, on the other hand, was well aware of what was happening as he watched them staring at his son through the glass doors leading to the pool. Taking a step closer, then another until he was somewhat behind the 'peeping Tom' for a lack of a better word. Owen had no idea if the other was aware of his presence or not, but he spoke up anyway. "Enjoying the view are we?" He asked, brow raised and hands slid in his pockets.
