Y’know whats funny I read the first book and I shipped Clalec right up until I knew Alec was gay. And guess what? 

I stopped immediately.

How is it that a 12 year old with no understanding of things like sexuality erause was able to recognise that they weren’t supposed to be shipped together.

1) What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

To be totally honest there isn’t anything I REALLY don’t get? I mean obviously there are things I don’t ship, but, yknow, MagnusxCamille, AlecxClary, that sort of thing. I don’t ship those. Those are not nice. But I think that’s a fairly fandom-wide consensus. OH! Actually, something that was pretty popular in the book fandom for a short eternity was SebastianxAlec?? Which I never understood and was super squicked by, but it’s died out a bit in the show fandom. 

Honestly, though, with shipping, I’m fairly…widespread. I’ve actually gone off Saphael a little bit recently, not because I don’t get it, or because I’ve changed my mind, but just because the chemistry I saw in s1 (and parts of 2a) has disappeared, imo. But I literally ship everything. Clizzy, Jimon, Lyzzy(?), Sizzy, SimonxMaia…I can get behind all of those.

4) Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*

Jalec  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’m sorry. I understand why people do ship it, I personally just…don’t. Platonically, hell yes! In fact, I’d love to see their platonic relationship explored a bit more in the show, in more chill, training/bantering/piss-taking-about-relationships sorts of way on the show, rather than this life-and-death horror. But I can’t get behind it romantically. Sorry.

And within that same post is cassie own denial of any polyamory. Finally polyamory is not having feelings for seeveal ppl. And yes contrary to the assumptions you made i have experience in polyamory, more that your friend most likely. 2. The statistics go for all kind sof polyamory (polygamy is a type of polyamory dear. Educate yourslf.) but funnily enough, three way polyamory os actually the msot disasterous. And the statistics are on the internet for you to see 3. If you think polyamory is an identity then you think sexuality can be changed right? Because most poly ppl become monogamous in their later relationships. And ALL nom ace ppl experience attraction to several people at once. Unless you think the whole world is polyamorous, which would render your little flag pointless, i would rest my case.

Tessa is not polyamorous, and polyamory is not a sexuality. It's a type of relationship you can do for a few year then stop doing, sexuality is not a choice, polymaory is a typoe of relationship zsuch as swinging and open relationships, types which tessa never participated in qnd never canonically expressed desire to, having feelings for two ppl is not polyamorous its a love trianlge, one which tessa ended with two men seperwtely (&canonically dedicted her heart ONLY to the person she was with)

Its not swinging or being in an open relationship but go off! I love how you say all of these things without a lick of knowledge or experience in these things and continue to act like your word is law. It’s clear you don’t know jack shit about anything but thats not a surprise babe!
