"I always wondered why I didn't get the tails from that younger look but now that I see them closer.." If you start to unravel the tails, you realize Harune, Yua, whatever you want to call her. That single tail of hers, is incomprehensible in the count of tails it contains.

Maybe its better to simply, pretend there's nine and mimic that.

"She is pretty after all, this Harune. Maybe that's why we both look like her right now?"

The Soldier Side

The night was young. The moon was full. In the distance, a battle amongst civilization was slowly drawing to a close.

For but a split second, further away than civilization, a rift in spacetime opened and spat out a man armored in black red into the moonlit darkness, tumbling across the dirt field until his head hit the side of a small cliff and went through it.

With no beat missed, the man forced himself out of the small cliff side, shaking the dirt off his head in an instant. The beats came as the man observed his new surroundings, sighing to himself for the mishap. Out in the middle of an empty grass field with strange cliffs dotting the land, pale moonlight shining on that grass. No signs of sentient life anywhere, save for a city in the far distance barely brimming with orange and red. Once he saw a flash of blue and white from above the city, he began jogging toward it. ...if a dash at fifty kilometers per hour could be called a jog.

Another flash of blue and white from above the city, and he skidded to an instant stop, kicking up a massive puff of dirt. That was definitely a dragon he saw in that great distance. Or a wyvern? Wyvern for sure. He could've sworn he saw it breathe thunderous lightning with the strength of a typhoon.

His smile widened, and he immediately dashed toward the winged beast. He was inhumanely quick to close in, going from two thousand meters close to nineteen hundred in a-- eighteen hundred in-- seventeen hundred-- fifteen hundr-- thirteen hu-- a thousand-- five hu-- four h-- three-- one--

Before anyone who may've been in the area knew it, the man dropkicked the wyvern with the force of a runaway semi-truck. Not lethal, but enough to send it flying a good ways and catch its attention.

Once the hat and cloak comes off, it becomes apparent that not all is as it seemed. First, with the hat off there are certainly some little fox ears. On of them flicks, indicating that they are real.

But then the heavy cloak comes off, and shaking free from it is a pair of exceptionally fluffy moth wings, that flutter a bit.

The little Rirune-like fairy hugs Rirune while her hair is being dried.

She opens her mouth to speak, no sound comes out. Then she just nods.

"Just to be clear, if you visit Eientei for a checkup, it will be nothing like this. You will not be asked to get naked for any reason."

Rirune. And he's eyeing Skadi from head to toe with a small pause... before finally walking up to her.

"I'm sorry, have we... met? You seem so familiar, and yet..."

"Excuse me?" A large bag was parked on her shoulder, easing it off to the ground to give this sudden visitor a little more of her attention. Anything better than trying to talk over her shoulder with a bag parked on it.

"You.." Skadi's eyes trailed down for a moment more, then right back up. Clearly this girl wasn't one of her colleagues, or even one of her former classmates.

"I don't think we've met, I didn't bother you did I?"

Generally speaking, Nyalter only visits Chloe to gush or ask her stupid questions about alchemy to find an excuse to hang out with her. This time, the cat seems a little more tentative though, like she's approaching the issue from a different angle.

"Hey Sweetheart, do you have a way to get back to Estoria? I... kind of want to go visit Rirune sometimes..."

She's not really sure if Chloe actually does head back. After all, alchemists just... randomly disappear sometimes to gather materials. But she wonders if Chloe does just go home sometimes.

"Could you take me back or something? How did you get here to begin with?"

She'd taken to collecting the stones at the bottom of the water to pass the time, organizing them by smoothness. It wasn't the most entertaining of activities but it certainly beat doing nothing or getting anxious when the sky started lighting up, or another strange girl came close.

Familiar footsteps snapped her out of her rock-habit and as she rose closer to the surface, she recognized who they belonged to. Suina approached the shallows, head rising slowly out of the water to see the first person she'd come in contact with here.

"Chloe- welcome back. Is it more conversation this time, or maybe a new idea to get out of here?" she'd question, giving the girl a short wave.

Fairy Cooking

"See, the recipe called for baking soda, but we were all out. Thankfully Chloe says she knows how to make more."

*There is a hard cut to Chloe, who is currently putting a bottle of soda into an over pre-heated to 350 degrees.*

"Hey, Nise. I was thinking... You want to stay over the night today?" Eri. He finally got out of the apartment, and... he's still processing over what happened. It's frankly alot to unpack. "I'll make a spare bed and some dinner... and I'd need to cancel my plans for tonight. How about it?"

Nise is still sitting in front of Eri's apartment, she flicnhes once more when he starts speaking, before looking up at him.

"...I don't think I could sleep in there like that anyway. I don't..."

"I don't want to be alone. I don't think... no, I know I couldn't handle it." She slowly pushes herself to her feet, using the wall to steady herself. "I'll just... grab a couple things from my room." A pillow, blankets, her toothbrush.

"Vert!" Eri! "I'm sorry, ah... I hope I got your anatomy right...-" He didn't, there's a few mistakes- "But quick question, do you have... way too many copies of clothing or something? Because if so, would you... like to sell it to me? Or at least something else for a favor?"

"Of course, I'd be happy to donate you a set of clothing."

Don't mind her bloody nose as she rummages through her closet to find an extra pair of her regular attire. She's busy admiring her own body inside her mind.

"I could get a job. But stealing them is far easier. That way I can spend my free time eating snack, which are definitely not stolen and chilling out."

"Also, I can't confirm if someone doesn't have balls unless I check first. You've seen the kind of boys around Gensokyo, you can never truly be sure!"

Performance review time!

"Congratulations are in order. Several fairies have completed the training period, and have received a score acceptable enough to proceed. If you see your name on the board behind me, please go through the door next to Rosemary and she'll get you fitted for your own personal uniforms. Dune Spriteling and Helia, please wait for me in my office. The rest of you, return to your assigned training tasks."

In Salty's office...

"I must say, It is certainly unusual. You two have scored the lowest on the review since, well, ever. It's very rare to see single digit scores, but a one and a zero out of one-hundred is simply bizarre."
