we will meet again series is done.
i got way too lazy and i lost motivation for this story.
so here’s what i was planning. (yes, ik its not as good then if i wrote a whole story) TW: mentions of smut, spoilers, death, dogs, hell.
he wakes up two months later
you stay with him for a month
you break up with him a month later
you leave his house
you find someone else to court
two years later, you break up with him
you see alastor at another dance
he makes his way over to you, snobby like before.
he doesn’t seem interested in you anymore
he dances with another lady until you tap her shoulder
he laughs at your jealousy, not refusing to dance with you.
both of your dancing is awkward.
he finds you in an alleyway again
you argue over everything.
your screaming at him when he sets his hands on your waist and pulls you closer.
you push him away, but he pins you
he kisses you.
you don’t break it. you were deprived of his kisses
he takes you home
smut, he even says, “oh yeah, baby, tell me how much you missed me.”
you eventually get back together.
you kill someone together.
you and jane catch up after years.
jane and alastor get in an argument and he kicks her out
your mad at him for that, so you give him the silent treatment until he uh…does stuff..
he proposes, and you get married.
five years later…
you are burying the body, alastor making sure you are doing it right
you hear a gunshot.
you turn around and see hunting dogs running for you
your frozen in fear until you realize they ran past you.
you turned around, and your alastor was being mauled by the dogs.
you screamed and hit the dogs, but they didn’t stop.
your alastor passes away, you are depressed.
you have an idea, which is crazy.
around.. ten to fifty years later.
everyone found out alastor was the serial killer, but not you. yet.
you went on a news channel.
”i helped him kill them” and then u… 🔫 urself on camera
you opened your eyes, confused. you looked at the symbol in the red sky and people running around.
you found a large building that said, “the hazbin hotel.”
you looked at your reflection. you had deer ears and antlers.
you were greeted by a hyper girl with a red suit.
she told you the plans, but you didn’t think a demon could be redeemed. you didn’t say that though.
she gave you a tour, and you met all the people.
”this is-“ she was interrupted by the red man
”i’m alastor, pleasure to meet you, quite a pleasure.”
you heard the radio in his voice.
did he not recognize you..?
he looked at you like a normal person.
you became friends with Angel Dust.
you told him about all your problems and worries. you basically vented to each other.
”i.. i was married to an alastor, but i don’t know if that’s him..”
angel was surprised. “toots, you should ask em’”
you went up to his radio tower, which alastor had when you were alive.
”um, hey alastor…i forgot to tell you my name, and i didn’t want to be rude.”
he stood up, a little confused.
”im… Y/N”
”darling?” he was shocked.
you ran to him, hugging him. he hugged you back and spun you around.
he kissed you for a minute.
you told him about your last few minutes alive.
soon, everyone in the hotel knew about his wife.
more smut since u died and it’s been a while
and u live happily ever after :> *

Oh yeah, I forgot to post this here, didn't I? Sequel to this, Stella and Alastor decide to solve the 'her growing older' problem.
”You’re certain about this?” He raised an eyebrow as her tail flicked about, curling and uncurling on itself.
“Yeah. Yeah, I’m certain.”
“Normally I wouldn’t ask twice, it’s their own fault for not thinking things through, but I feel in this particular case, having you mad at me for eternity might be a bit more grating than usual. You understand.”
Stella ran her fingers through her feathers, plucking out another one that was more pink than red. Some of the barbs on the tip were shifting to gray, and she made up her mind.
“Dad’s got some shit he’s figuring out with Stolas, but I think he’s going to pull something similar, and… I love Millie and Moxxie and Loona, but I’ll be able to live without them eventually. You guys are as much my family as they are, especially you.”
“Excellent!” Alastor rubbed his hands together before holding the right one out. “This may sting a bit- I am going to be rewriting your entire genetic code.”
It was her turn to raise an eyebrow. “You said you were going to keep me young forever.”
“Exactly- by shifting you backwards just a tad.”
“If you’re going back before I had the kids-”
“Oh, perish the thought! No, this is just a few years, to be sure that you don’t have to deal with any creaky bones. Your royal bloodline will do the rest. Thirty-five, perhaps?”
“Yeah, thirty-five sounds fine,” she said. “I mostly started feeling it at forty, I think.”
“Easy-peasy, then! Normally deals of this caliber go much further back.” His hand remained extended, and she sucked in a breath before taking it, clasping his fingers firmly.
Green swirled around her as gravity loosened, feathers floating up as they both lifted off the floor. Alastor continued to grin at her as electric shocks flowed from where their palms met, scampering around her body. They made it impossible to tell whatever else he was doing, but other than an oddly pudding-like sensation sloshing around inside of her that solidified as her feet touched ground again, she felt identical to five minutes ago.
“So it’s…?”
“Done.” He swirled up a mirror, and she tilted her head. True to his word, other than a few vanished wrinkles, she looked mostly the same. Good. “How does it feel to be a member of the unaging undead?”
“Undead- you didn’t turn me into a sinner, did you?” If she couldn’t visit the other rings anymore, she swore to the archangels-
“No more than you always were!” He laughed. “No, it was nothing of the sort. As promised, you are the genuine article, frozen in time for as long as we both shall desire.” His smile slipped for just a moment. “It will be good to keep you.”
“Same to you, fuzzbutt.” She scooped him up with a smirk and a laugh.
(When she found the tattoo on her hip later, she was caught between cuffing him on the head and laughing her ass off at how well he’d played that.)

Rebirth (Chapter Seven)
Alastor X Human!Reader ((Reincarnation!AU))
Prologue || One || Two || Three || Four || Five || Six || Seven
Everything about this city was beautiful. From street lanterns to the very distinctive architecture. New Orleans had this magical air to it that made everything seem romantic and otherworldly. You had never been here before so you got caught up in all the sightsees. You were still in the elegant red dress that matched Alastor’s crimson suit.
Your arm was looped with Alastor’s as the two of you walked down busy and noisy streets. Many people were out and about, bar hopping, drinking, dancing, singing and enjoying the night. Apparently, there was this bar that you just had to see, according to Alastor.
“It’s lovely in there, it’s much like a music lounge!” Alastor told you with a smile. You could see the genuine happiness on his face as he talked about this bar, “I use to go there all the time when I was alive,”
“How do you know it’s still there?” You asked him while raising a brow, “Didn’t you die like…” When did he die again? Uh oh, you forgot, “Um… You died a long time ago, right?”
Alastor flashed a quick toothy grin and gave you a side glance, “1933. Just because I’m dead doesn’t mean I don’t keep tabs on the living world,” He then nudged you lightly, “I bet I know more about today’s news than even you do.”
You rolled your eyes, tempted to say something snide, “You sound like an old man. I watch the news, just… not every day. Or week,” You tried to defend yourself. Alastor’s low chuckle caused your cheeks to burn red, “Where the hell is this bar?” You shifted the conversation, “I’m ready for a drink,” And a big one at that.
“Almost there, my dear!” Alastor promised, “What’s your drink of choice?”
You looked at him and thought, “What was my favorite drink when I was a demon?”
A very dark look overtook Alastor’s features. You saw his teeth grow in size, his mouth twisted into an unnatural grin, “Blood,” He said wickedly. The dark look was gone, his teeth were back to normal and his smile was more relaxed, “Oh! You meant alcohol!” Alastor started to laugh at his own dumb joke, “Haha, you enjoyed gin, vodka, tequila. You had an uncanny taste for clear liquor and often refused the darker ones, like whiskey and rum.”
That was very different from now. You kind of hated alcohol and you’d only drink it if it was fruity and sweet enough to mask the gross burning liquor, “Mhm, not the same,” You shrugged, “I’m basic, give me a Mike’s Hard or a Twisted Tea. It’s can’t taste like shit.”
“All liquor tastes like shit,” Alastor hummed with a single chuckle. He wasn’t wrong there. Only a few minutes passed before he suddenly stopped in his tracks in front of an old rickety wooden door.
You were confused, what was here? It was just a dark pine door stuck between two buildings. There was no sign and no address. Nothing but a door. Alastor quickly swung it open, you saw that immediately behind the door was a dark stairwell leading below ground. You followed Alastor into the cellar with caution. There was a second door at the bottom of the stairs and Alastor thew that one open too. Music and smoke wafted from within. It smelled musty and thick of cigarettes.
How could you have not guessed? You walk into a dark underground bar and lounge. The lights shined low rays, making it easy to hide in the shadows. The floor was covered with a thin and dirty green carpet. The walls had wooden paneling that went about a third of the way while maroon wallpapers climbed to the ceiling. There had to be a few dozen people already in there. You took a look over at Alastor and saw stars in his eyes.
Little did you know that this was the bar where Alastor wasted away most of his life. It had barely changed. Sure there were new paintings and pictures, but so what? And yeah, there were dozens of TVs and speakers littering the walls now. Other than that, it was the same. Same gross green carpet with wine stains spotting all over the room, there were still green stain glass lights hanging from the ceiling, the bar looked exactly the same and there was a nice new pool table in the corner. Further back in the larger room was a small stage completely void of anything. Dozens of little tables scattered the room. This place was big enough to fit at least 80 to 90 people. It made Alastor incredibly happy to be here, even if it was some several decades later.
The two of you walked over to the bar without a word spoken between you. There were lush and comfy stools with soft green cushions for a seat. You gazed at the other people hanging around the bar. There was an older woman smoking a cigarette at the very end as she drank her margarita and played on her phone. A few seats away from you was a young man covered with tattoos and piercings.
Alastor quickly leaned on the bar with a smile. You stood beside him and you didn’t understand why you felt so nervous. It made you feel awkward to stare at him so much. You couldn’t help it though, his looks kept drawing you in. He looked rather dashing in the suit. He knew how to pick colors that complemented his features. He looked better without his glasses on too. You could see the dark and haunting color of his brown eyes. When he flickered his gaze towards you, you quickly averted your eyes and watched the bartender sluggishly walk along the bar.
He seemed tired and overly sleepy. The bartender shrugged as he asked, “What can I get for ya?”
You quickly looked at Alastor with a nervous expression. Luckily he was a man of action, “Two whiskeys, my good friend!” He tapped the bar twice with his hand and gave a large grin.
While the bartender got your drinks, you peered along the counter. That man with the tattoos was looking at you. Then at Alastor, then you again. The way he stared made you suspicious of him. You looked away from him as the bartender returned and slid two glasses towards you and Alastor.
“Give it a try, darling,” Alastor eyed you as he grabbed his own glass, “It’ll only bite a little bit,” Then he winked at you. It took you by complete surprise and you were quickly flustered. At the same time, he pulled a little black case from one of his pockets and unclipped the latch. As he flipped it open it revealed several dozen cigarettes tucked neatly in rows. Alastor swiped one quicky then snapped the case closed. You watched as the cigarette lit itself alive as if my by magic. Alastor wasn’t even looking at you anymore. This was the first time you saw his human face without some sort of smile. He had a soft and blank expression as he took a drag of the cigarette. Why did he make it look so…. attractive? He even did a french inhale, slowly passing smoking from his lips and inhaling it into his nose.
As much as you hated the burn of alcohol, you quickly grabbed your own drink and down a large gulp. Your heart was fluttering in your chest and you couldn’t stop it from beating harder and harder as every second passed. Once you placed the glass down you quickly rushed your words out, “I- uh!” You coughed and cleared your throat, “I need to you the restroom!” You actually needed a second to calm down, “I’ll be right back,” You flashed a little smile on your face as Alastor watched you with amusement.
“Take your time, dear,” He gave a sneaky and snide smirk, he was beginning to bring the cigarette back to his lips, but you quickly turned and walked off as calmly as you could.
Alastor watched your every step until you found the bathrooms and disappeared around a corner. He could finally let out the soft sigh and relax a little. Everything was going perfectly so far. All he had to do was keeping working his charm and soon you’d be his once again.
He took this time alone to reflect on the entire situation. Alastor flicked the ash off the end of his cigarette into an ashtray. With his free hand, he reached for his whiskey. As happy as he was to be here, it brought him a small sense of sorrow. It was beginning to become more and more clear that you were not the same person you once were.
It pained him because he was realizing that the person he was looking for was dead and gone forever. No matter how much he tried, he’d never have his beloved wife back. He couldn’t deny it however, he stilled felt a deep love for you even if you weren’t exactly the same. Little did you know, Alastor had come to terms with spending the rest of your natural mortal life with you, simply because he couldn’t bring himself to kill or even harm you in any way. He also felt the need to protect you from any harm as well. He wouldn’t allow you to killed in any way unless it was on your terms.
He wasn’t entirely sure why he felt this way. Maybe it had to do with the fact that your soul wasn’t tainted enough to go to hell, or maybe he loved your soul’s newfound purity. Maybe it had nothing to with anything, he couldn’t be sure. He had shut himself entirely off from his emotions the day you were reincarnated. It had been a long time since he explored the thoughts and let them run free in his mind. There was a strange uneasiness that overcame Alastor at the same time. He looked around and found the man looking at him, the one with the tattoos.
How interesting, Alastor watched this stranger begin to approach him. A little smile lingered on Alastor’s face. He wanted this man to go away and leave him alone, “Hello!” Alastor lifted his smile some more, “What brings you over here, my good fellow?”
The tattooed man was a little surprised at Alastor’s straight-forward approach, but other than that, he didn’t seem to fazed by it. Alastor could smell the pot and vodka rolling off of this stranger. It didn’t take a whole lot to see how intoxicated he was. There was even a drip from his nose and Alastor had no doubt that it was induced from a little knife bump of coke. But he smelled something much stronger, it was the soft and dull beat of blood rushing loosely through this drugged-up man. It was intoxication, it made Alastor’s eyes grow a little wider as he stared harder at the man.
“I wanted to know ‘bout that lady of yours!” The stranger slurred slightly, “She with you?”
“Ha!” Alastor enjoyed the stranger’s bluntness, “Something like that!” He bared his teeth with a smile, “I think there was someone more of your taste out on the corner there, old sport!”
The stranger laughed loosely and shook his head, “Aha, hmhm,” He sucked in a quick breath, “I was thinking you’re more my type. Or the both of ya.”
Alastor’s smile melted only slightly as it became more thin, firm and pressed. Why couldn’t he think of anything to say? He didn’t think this would make his as uncomfortable as it did. Panic leaked into his bloodstream for the first time in decades. How was this possible? He felt a bead of sweat form at his temple. Then a whisper crawled into his ear, saying, He’s only a human. Scare him away.
So he took a quick breath in and Alastor smiled calmly, “You don’t want to walk down this road,” He closed his eyes and smiled some more, “There’s nothing here for you!” His voice was bouncy and happy despite his true feelings hidden below his throat, “Nothing but a dead end!” Alastor smiled away.
But the man was either too drunk or stoned to hear the ominous threat in Alastor’s voice, or he just didn’t care. He leaned forward slightly, “You sure? I’ve got a ton of X and coke- Oh hey-”
You had just shown back up and you could feel the terrible tension in the air. The tattooed man was swaying on his feet and he had a sloppy half-grin on his face. Alastor, however, had dark eyes boring into the man and a smile on his eyes. His unblinking stare was menacing, “Hey,” You frowned. At the sound of your voice, Alastor turned his head quickly and he looked at you. He didn’t say anything though, “What’s.. uh… going on?” You looked between the two of them.
The stranger shrugged, “Just trying to see if ya’ll are interested in a little party-”
You quickly held up your hand, making him stop talking. This is why you hated bars and drinking, well… you mostly just hated drunks. Nothing was more dully and stupid than a drunk person, in your opinion. You frowned at the stranger, “I’m going to have to stop you right there, thanks but no thanks, we’re not interested.” You learned a long time ago that the only way to get them to go away is to tell them to fuck off, “Now if you don’t mind, I’d like to get back to enjoying my night.”
The man gave you a swore face, he shrugged again, “You’re loss,” The mood changed and he didn’t seem so happy anymore. He left with a flip of his long hair and muttering something under his breath.
You heard a sigh next to you, and you saw Alastor’s smile drop down to a mild grin. He seemed… upset? You weren’t very sure, “You okay?” You asked.
“I hate humans,” Alastor grumbled, “Primitive, primal, promiscuous. Utterly useless creatures,”
“What? Don’t like guys flirting with you?” You started to slowly chuckle at him. Was this what he was like when he was flustered or mad? It almost made you laugh. He just looked bitter with a dumb smile. Maybe it was because he was in his human form, but he didn’t look as intimidating or scary without all the evil demon teeth and claws.
“I’m not a fan of the outcome,” Alastor looked at you from a side glance. He waved a hand, “Fornication is utterly disgusting,”
Oh. You blinked, slowly understanding what he was trying to say, “So you’re like… Asexual?”
Now Alastor gave you a confused smile, “I wish I could go through mitosis,” He gave a weak laugh after that.
But you giggled behind your hand for a second. Oh, how the tables had turned, “No, Al,” You saw him perk up at the nickname, “It means yours not into fornication.” It looked like he started to understand, “You know, some people are homosexual? Hetero? You’re Asexual,” To help further your point, you dug out your phone and opened up the web browser. You did a quick google search then showed him.
He was wary, but he looked at your phone, quickly reading the words, “Hm,” He hummed, “Well would you look at that!” There was a smile on his face. He gestured for you to come and sit beside him again.
You climbed back into your bar seat once again and Alastor turned so he could face you. His cigarette was long burnt out and gone and he didn’t hesitate to pull another one out. He offered you one but you shook your head lightly, “So many things are different,” Alastor mumbled from behind the unfiltered end of the cigarette, “You used to smoke a pack a day,” He chuckled softly.
“Yeah?” He knew he had caught your interest. You perked up in your seat and even scooted a little closer, “What was I like? Like… aside from being a demon and your wife. Like personality and attitude?”
He couldn’t help the sweet smile from curling on his face, “You were very hardworking. People praised you for your incredible loyalty as well. But you were also uncontrollably emotional,” You faintly remembered the book saying something about that.
“What else?” You wanted to know so much more. You wanted to know everything you could know about your past self. It was an obsession you couldn’t ignore anymore.
“How about we focus on this version of you?” Alastor smiled a little more and gave a raise of his brow. You felt flattered that he wanted to know more about you. You remembered that you still had a glass of whiskey to drink.
As you grabbed the glass and took a sip, you asked after a brief moment, “What do you want to know?”
Alastor leaned forward and rested his chin in the palm of his hand. There was a light and spark in his eyes that made your hight jump a little, “Anything,” He said with a smile.
_________________________________________________________
“-I was so scared. He looks at me and says, ‘You lit?’ And I was…. I was totally baked out of my mind. It was the first time I… ya know? Aha- And my professor is looking at me and the whole class is! I almost started to cry but then he sharted to shake his hands and go ‘No, no, no! You eat that cookie! You stay lit!’ And he just goes on teaching!” There were about six or seven empty glasses next to you. A smile was on your face as you told some stupid story from your freshman year of college.
Alastor was listening intently with his own smile to match. He held your hand in his as they rested together on the bar, “Ya know I was always a fan of opium every now and again!”
For some reason that made you laugh a little, “I’d never do something like that,” It was safe to say you were tipsy. Maybe a little bit drunk. Just a little. Alastor, on the other hand, didn’t seem the slightest and he drank more than you, “Like you said. I’m just a goodie goodie.”
He chuckled and gave a grin, “I also said we could change that.”
“You said a lot of things,” You smirked. The last..? What time was it? Well, you had spent some time talking to Alastor. He asked about your life, your birthday. He found out you had no siblings and that your father was dying. He even wanted to know about what school you went to, what classes you liked. You didn’t expect him to be so curious. He cracked a joke every now and then and tease you for something silly.
It was nice to just… talk to him like this. It was almost like he was a real person who wanted to get to know you. A little voice in your said It’s almost like I’m on a date with a real guy who… likes me. You shook that voice away. And caught Alastor staring at you. You laughed nervously and said, “What?”
He just shook his head slowly then shrugged, “Nothing… You’re just very pretty. I like this version of you. Some things are the same, like your eyes and your smile. But others are different,”
“Like what?” Damn it! You couldn’t stop the little smile on your face.
“That’s not important,” He quickly dismissed your question, “It doesn’t matter whats different and what’s the same. I’m just happy to spend time with you again.” Why did that answer make your heart flutter?
His hand was still holding yours and you couldn’t deny that comfort you felt from his touch. It was familiar in a way that you just couldn’t describe. It was almost addicting in away. You could feel your soul reaching out and trying to touch Alastor.
What time was it again? You pulled out your phone and looked at the clock. You almost jumped out of your seat and lost your mind, “It’s three in the morning!? I have classes at eight am! Fuck!” You ran a hand through your hair then looked at Alastor, “This is your fault,”
He grinned, “Skip classes tomorrow, sleep in,” His voice called out and tempted you.
It sounded nice, but you knew better. You shook your head, “No, I need to go to bed, can you take me home?” You looked at him and waited for him to say something but he just grinned a sneaky little toothy smile, “Please?”
“Alright,” He finally said. He closed his eyes and with a smile, he snapped his fingers quickly. There was a static sound of white noise and suddenly you were outside your apartment door. Odd. Why didn’t he just teleport you guys inside? What if your door was locked?
Alastor quickly took your hand in his and brought your fingers up to his lips. He placed a kiss on them, holding your hand there as he gave you a look that gave you chills, “I had a lovely night with you, my dear. Until we meet again.” He placed another kiss on your knuckles. You wanted to say something but he quickly faded into a swarm of misty black shadows. He was gone before you knew it and you were alone with a might need for him to come back.

New Beginnings~Chapter 4
TVD Season 6 AU: After a few too many startling revelations Bonnie is fed up and decides to leave. Enter the little town of Havencrest, a quiet place, perfect for settling down away from everything. Or so it's thought; Bonnie left the constant chaos that was Mystic Falls only to get mixed up in something much darker.
Whoo another update! Don’t have much to say other than happy belated BonKai day family! Ngl I was super engrossed in other stuff and I had to work that day so yeah. Hopefully this makes up for that somewhat. Without further ado please enjoy the chapter. Italics=Thoughts/flashbacks. TW for mentions of animal abuse and violence
@kingcobrakai1972, @fuckitimfangirling, @bonkaishippersclub, @needlexheart, @madeunmexico, @bonkai-reign, @bonkai-diaries, @a-bonkai-fantasy225, @albion19, @leianaberrie, @scorpio-karma, @mysticfalls-originals, @nys30, @jemicloisfan, @1972trash, @bonwhynot, @bonkairedemption if I forgot to tag anyone please let me know
Though some people were still staring at Austin's retreating back, a handful were giving her scornful glances. Bonnie was starting to become agitated. She sat down on a bench in the park and began tapping her foot impatiently. Rusty scratches against her leg for attention, she picks him up and puts him in her lap. "I can say I have an alibi, which I really do, but magic was more than likely involved in this."
Noelle was tapping her chin, pacing back and forth thinking of solutions. "True, but we need undeniable proof."
Sian's entire being radiated sadness. "She doesn't deserve this. She's innocent."
Caleb's shoulders are tense, watching the townspeople warily. "We know that but unfortunately the combination of Bonnie being a witch and her familiar being him is going to have the town on edge."
Bonnie grew apprehensive. "What's wrong with Rusty?"
There was a beat of silence until Sian spoke up. "A lot of the townsfolk believes he's a curse."
Bonnie's eyes narrowed, leaning forward head slightly tilted.
Sian clenched the knapsack closer to herself. "He wasn't always a chow chow puppy, some months back he was a pitbull. A-uh-a guy who was into dog fighting wanted to use him but Rusty disobeyed one too many times and he...killed him."
Noelle closed her eyes, lips pursed in anger while Caleb just watched for Bonnie's reaction. The young woman grasped Rusty to her; Harsh breaths coming out of her nostrils. Rusty whined attempting to twist his little body around to reach her face.
"That wasn't the only time...I think he died twice before that too. He never really made it to adulthood." Sian buried her face into her bag murmuring. "Like owner, like dog."
Caleb put a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe you should head on home."
"I'm fine Caleb." Came her curt reply.
Noelle finally opened her eyes. "No Caleb's right." She turned to him. "Take her out of here, there's too many emotions swirling around."
"But Noelle!"
"I said no."
Sian just cast sorrowful eyes at Bonnie and then buried her head back into her bag so only her copper hair was showing.
"I'll take her with me to the scene, see if we can find something."
"Okay. Keep us posted."
"Will do. Be safe." With one last look at Bonnie he grabbed Sian and ran off in the direction of a small side street.
After watching them leave Noelle turned to Bonnie. "Let's go get your hair done."
"You can't be serious." Even Rusty's head tilted in confusion at Noelle's ridiculousness.
"As serious as a heart attack." She peered at Bonnie closely. "Have you ever had cornrows before."
"No."
"Individuals? Locs? Weave of any kind?"
"No, no, and no."
"Yeah that won't do. Get up." Rusty barked twice which Bonnie assumed it meant hell no.
"Look Noelle I'm a suspect in a murder I can't just be prancing around getting my hair done."
"Yes you can! This will get your mind off of things and a chance to try something new with yourself!"
"Someone you knew personally just died. How can you be so blase about this?"
"Because, one, changes for the better start small. Or in your case big and then small. You already got out of a toxic environment." She sat down beside Bonnie. "And two, she was already dying. She had maybe another week or two tops."
Realization dawned on Bonnie. "You're giving me another alibi in case something happens again."
She made finger guns. "Now you got it."
"Did anyone ever tell you you're annoyingly persistent."
"So I've been told." She stood up and faced Bonnie holding her hand out. "Let's go."
"I'll go but I'm not taking your hand."
"Sweet! Come on my car is parked on the other end of the park."
"Cool, but we have to stop by the pet store first. I need dog food for Rusty."
"Fine by me."
-----
Elias takes a swing at Kai but he's distraught and his eyes are blinded with tears so Kai has no problem avoiding him. When he swings again Kai grabs his arm twisting it behind his back then snapping it at the elbow. At this point he's past caring if anyone hears him as he drags Elias kicking and screaming to the pool.
Using his bulk, Elias manages to break free of Kai's hold only to be kneed in the stomach and elbowed in the face. Seeing as that wasn't taking him out Kai gripped Elias's hair and slammed his face into the diving board. With his knee in his back he then heaved his brother's head into the pool.
"Come on Eli, you're a good swimmer, let's see how long you can hold your breath under water. Last I heard it was for a solid seven minutes! Let's try for eight!"
Elias is desperate now and his thrashing around is getting worse, Kai presses his knee down harder and uses his other to break his brother's good arm. Suddenly Kai feels it, the approaching footsteps followed by shapely brown legs. When he looks up he's staring directly into a pair of moss green eyes. No anger, fear or hesitation; Just disgust and disappointment. He's used to Jo giving him that look over time but with her it's different. It's like his heart is being squeezed and his ears start ringing and everything around him becomes a white noise save for her voice.
"You're a monster. You don't deserve forgiveness."
Kai catapults awake to the smell of something burning and quickly put out the flames attempting to scorch the place. Glancing downward he notices that the journals remained intact. Checking his phone it reads 7:20pm, which means he was reading for at least five hours and passed out for the rest.
His phone vibrated with an unknown number popping up. With a degree of caution he answered. "Hello?"
"Kai? It's Mahir. I've been trying to get in contact with you for hours. I thought you got caught in a trap Joshua set or something."
"Uh yeah. I got distracted reading." He's still disoriented from getting up so fast. "You okay? You're less talkative than usual."
"I'm fine. How did you get my number anyway?" Kai had sent a coded message to the coven in order for them to show up at the restaurant.
"Josette."
"Mahir, what did you do?" His voice held a warning tone. In spite of Jo wanting nothing to do with him he still held a soft spot for her.
"Chill, I just tracked her down and asked for it. Her husband though...he may have a cracked rib or two. My presence caught Josette off guard and he reacted accordingly which put him in his current predicament."
"And Jo?"
"Gave me your number and told me she never wanted to see me again."
"Okay good. As long as Jo's fine I don't care what happens to her husband."
"Heh. Sooo...how is it?"
"The things I found in here are indescribable! This place is just wow! But Mahir the craziest part are the journals I found here. They detail the Salem Witch Trails and the cause behind it."
"What? I thought that was mass hysteria."
"Same here but my ancestor Alastor described something completely different. He said something possessed a normal human woman making her act differently, unusual fits of anger, muttering strange things, and contorting her body into odd positions. It's recounted as a black mist that mostly wreaked havoc at night."
"Save for the black mist part you just described The Exorcist." Kai could hear air whipping in the background Mahir must've been outside driving. "That's crazy."
"Tell me about it, Bon-I mean a Bennett ancestor was blamed for obvious reasons along with some others."
"Anything else?"
"Apparently my ancestor was super thirsty. There's as many entries about Ana Bennett as there are about the trails."
Mahir let out a hearty laugh. "Seems like that runs in the family. Joshua was like that with Sheila, though he hid it well."
Kai's lip curled in disgust. "I did not need that picture."
"I don't know man I met Lucy Bennett once and let me tell you I would gladly bring her into the family."
"Stop!" Kai grabbed the suitcase he brought with him and opened it. "Look I'll call you back when I land back in Virginia."
"Cool. Catch you later."
"Later." Kai started stuffing it with the journals putting the Bennett one on top. "I'll just keep this with me for the time being." Looking back he also grabbed the Tesseract as well. He had a strange feeling he would need it.
Stepping out into the crisp night air Kai replaced the magic barriers and glamour back on the place and headed to the ferry.

Elena runs into the room, phone in hand. "Damon I found them. They're...on the campus."
"Gee why didn't we look there first." He sat on the couch watching tv.
"Because someone was too wrapped up in his mother and then Bonnie." Elena spat.
"Why don't you want to bring Bonnie back Elena? She's our friend." He smirked. "Are you jealous or something? We did get pretty close in the prison world."
Elena was starting to question what she saw in him. "No Damon I'm not jealous. It's just that when I last saw her she looked so tired, so done with everything. As much as it pains me to say it I-I think she's better off without us." She hung her head sadly.
Damon turned the tv off. "That's bullshit Elena and you know it! She belongs here with us!"
"Not if it's only killing her inside! Bonnie's too good, to nice to say anything, but I watched her leave, Damon not you. And besides why are we bringing her back anyway? Just so she can fix all of our problems like always? Sacrifice herself like always?" Tears were beginning to pool in her eyes. Bonnie leaving of her own accord struck something in her. She was used to her friend just bouncing back from whatever was bothering her, ready to help the team.
Damon got up from the couch. "Elena, where is this coming from?"
"From watching my best friend leave everything she has ever known and loved behind just to have peace. Realizing that she did so much for me, hell everyone in this damn town, while I barely did the bare minimum for her." She fell to her knees sobbing. "I was so self absorbed I didn't even acknowledge Bonnie's problems. Or her constant suffering."
"Elena." Damon crutched down placing a hand on her shoulder. "Bonnie chose to do those things because she loves you. Like when she sent me back to you."
"But she shouldn't have had to do it in the first place. We should've done better Damon." She shook his hand off and stood up wiping her eyes. "Get up we have to get Stefan and Caroline to turn on their humanity before anymore people die."

The salon they were heading to was on the other side of town. Bonnie was eyeing the small houses they were passing along the way, taking mental notes of the ones that had a for rent sign. Rusty, who wore himself out playing, was sleeping soundly in the backseat.
"Question."
"Shoot."
"How long does this process take?" Bonnie didn't want it to take too long as she wanted to check out those houses. The idea of the duplex sounded nice but she wanted privacy.
"You can't be serious." Noelle's tone was somehow both mocking and curious.
"Yes I am. I've never had any of those hairstyles before." She pointed to her bob. "It's always been like this and or curly."
Noelle side-eyed her. "Oh wow, but to answer your question it depends what hairstyle you get and how many people are doing your hair."
"Hmm. Do you have a book or magazine?"
"For the hair? Yeah there should be a magazine or two in the backseat."
Instead of just reaching back she used magic to put it in her hands. Bonnie began flipping through it, coming to a stop at a particular hairstyle. When they came to a light she pointed to it. "I think I want this one. The faux locs."
Noelle gasped. "I think that hairstyle would look gorgeous on you! Did you want shoulder length or long?"
"Long. I haven't had long hair in a while." Not since before she died for the second time. The thought left a bitter taste in her mouth. “Never again.”
"Eighteen inch would probably be best then." Noelle parked in front of a small african salon/barbershop. "We're here."
Bonnie peered at it from the passenger seat. It's a nice two story spot between a clothing boutique and a shoe store. Houses lined the rest of the street.
Noelle turned to her. "You ready?"
She glanced back at Rusty's sleeping form. "As I'll ever be."
Noelle left the back window open a crack and together the girls sashayed into the shop. There were two other women getting their hair done, three of the hairdressers were free. The place smelt of incense and it gave off a relaxing feeling.
Bonnie cleared her throat and spoke. "Hi. I would like to get my hair done in this style." She pointed to the the magazine she held up.
One of the middle aged african women smiled at her. "Sure, do you want any colors?"
"Black with caramel highlights."
The woman waved her over and Bonnie sat down. "Did you wash your hair today?"
"No."
"Okay. So first I'll wash and blow dry it then we'll get started."
"Alright."
As the two women walk to the back of the salon a heavy metal tune goes off catching the quiet place off guard. Noelle gives an embarrassed smile. "Sorry. I'll be in the sitting area Bonnie."
Bonnie gave a thumbs up and laid her head back in the sink so it could be washed. In the process of getting it washed Bonnie could hear Noelle talking on the phone to someone. She could barely understand what was being said but she did recognize a few words from those anime that Jeremy used to watch.
"Arigato, ja matane." Noelle hung up and sat down next to Bonnie.
"You speak japanese?" Bonnie figured Noelle was mixed but not with japanese.
"Fluenty. My mom taught me."
"Cool."
5 minutes later Bonnie was in the chair getting her hair done. 10 minutes later another woman joined her speeding up the process. Noelle's phone rang again and she side-eyed Bonnie.
She raised an eyebrow in question.
"It's Caleb."
Bonnie went to lean forward but remembered there were people in her hair. "Answer it!"
She muttered a spell and put the phone on speaker. "Find out anything?"
Sirens could be heard in the background where he was. "We found another one. This time there are organs missing."
She groaned. "Who was it?"
"Mr. Shaw." Caleb said solemnly.
Noelle closed her eyes in reflection. "He was the local bookshop owner." She said to Bonnie.
"Gutted him like a fish. I'll be shocked if they get any-oof!"
Noelle and Bonnie could hear a deep voice reprimanding him followed by a quick sorry.
"That was the chief." The sound of the poilce chatter grew further away. "Anyway when Sian touch the body she freaked out and then fainted."
"What?!"
"Calm down. She of course then woke up spouting gibberish and promptly vomited. Other than that she's fine."
"Did you manage to catch anything?"
"Uh, let me see...here it is! She said something about a messenger of the U.M.N and don't leave the castle."
Noelle looked like she seen a ghost. "The U.M.N is involved?" Her hands begin to shake causing her phone to clatter to the floor. "No." Her voice came out in a whisper.
Bonnie was bewildered. "Noelle? What's the U.M.N?"
She wasn't responding just beginning to hyperventilate.
"Noelle!" Bonnie grabbed her arm and shook her.
"What?" Her eyes still looked haunted but otherwise she was coherent.
"What's going on? You were starting to panic."
"The Underground Magic Network." She blurted it out.
"Yeah you said that."
"They're a massive group of dark magic users that terrorized Havencrest twenty years ago." She bent down to pick up her phone. "Probably trying to release that thing under the church in the woods."
"What thing?" Something besides Rusty was calling her here, that much she knew for sure.
Noelle met her gaze. "The black mist that caused the hysteria of the Salem Witch Trials. The six covens sealed it in this town."
