haters (people with a different aesthetic taste than mine) will dismiss (elaborate on why they dislike a particular historical fashion when genuinily asked in good faith) bonnets as childish and derpy. but they will never know the joys of bonnet brim flowers framing your face! beautifully!!! (they're most likely very much aware but it simply doesn't interest them enough to attempt recreating)
