As you can see, this month I have decided to recolor two of the carpets that... are ostensibly the same, just with different names. So I decided that Calming Cosines will be the normal/light colored variant, and Gentle Graphs will be the normal/dark colored variant. You can have both, they're listed right next to each other in the carpeting section of the catalog. ^^b

The wood flooring was something I had almost finished... right before I decided to completely reorganize both my floors and my colors. It comes in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (1). The colors/actions that have been borrowed from the talented artists that created them are thusly labeled in the color names and the accompanying “AKSOR4ObjRnbw4ColorSIs” document. As for the costume makeup, with this recolor from Sundried’s DA3 Vallaslin set (2), I'm finally one step closer to recoloring the whole set! (There's one more design to go, but the original is kind of messy looking, so I'll need to take a closer look at how much adjusting it needs to look good (in my opinion).) For Mythal, I could simply raise the opacity to match the rest of my recolors.

This layers above blush and below everything else. It comes in all 56 “clothing colors” (3) so if you want them all I would HIGHLY recommend downloading the “fewer files” version. Both versions come with swatches and preview pictures.

Happy September everyone! I have liked this lamp for a while (especially since I use Michelle's table lamp version from MtS (1) frequently). Unfortunately, I really, really disliked the jewels on the base game version, but just coloring over them looked kind of weird too.

So I fixed them! Now the colors of the jewels roughly correspond to actual real life jewel colors, and I find it much more usable. ^^b

For the second-to-last object recolor present, I present to you the Diet Festive Tree from the Happy Holidays SP. Yes, there’s a lot of gold happening in those recolors. That means... not every recolor works as well as I’d like, but I’d already thrown up my hands after fixing the more fiddly details so I hope you can enjoy it as is. ;;;>.< Ahem. So. Back around the second to last week of November, I decided, “sure! I have extra time, I’ll just redo the presents!” Did I have extra time? ...eh. But! The presents are now less gold, and I’ve learned some things about adding recolorable patterns, so... They’re somewhat better now I think. So, as I was fiddling around with all those... recolors... that I’ll share with you tomorrow, I decided I needed to update these two wall recolors that I previously uploaded. Because I was being lazy efficient, these updated versions HAVE REPLACED the older versions (1,2). Unfortunately, you’ll have to seek and destroy delete/remove the older versions if you want to replace them with these versions, because I used different file names for these versions to better fit with what I named their respective matching... recolors.

Hah! Three months of picking away at this and I’ve finally developed a color palette that I think I will enjoy for... at least as long as it takes me to recolor everything I’ve already done. As you can see, I managed to tighten it back down to 110 colors (;;>.>), and about 90% are completely new color actions. I have the color actions I borrowed (thank you Aelia, CuriousB, Kiinu, Nyren, Poppet and Shastakiss!) are labeled in yellow on the AKSOR4 color chart, and as always will label those recolors with the original creator and palette in the file names, the AKSOR4 color actions (for your convenience I have included the ones I’m using) and color info documents.

This is just a little reminder that these colors are intended to replace the AKSOR3b recolors that I have done. You CAN NOT have both versions in your game at once, except for the uploaded files above. So MAKE SURE to track down wherever you stored the old recolors when you decided to add in the new ones!

If you decide you like the old colors better, please make sure to download them before I replace their files with the updated colors! I’ll be starting with walls and floors, so if you want them I recommend you go download them soon! (If you want a file that is replaced, I have saved backup copies, so send me an ask and I can re-upload the old files and send you a link on an individual basis. (An easy way to find all my recolors is to check my Index Page of Indexes, by the way.)

This was posted on March 31, 2023. I promise not to replace anything until at least Monday, April 3, 2023. I will be updating the appropriate tumblr pages for each recolor as I updated files, so you will be able to check that way. I will try to periodically update you all via a State of the Blog address as to what has been updated.

This is going to take at least the rest of this year, especially since I’ll be slightly updating the bases for some of my old recolors and reorganizing how I sort floors and walls. And because I do keep trying to remember to pace myself. >.> HOWEVER! I am not taking any requests, and I am not doing any new recolors. You may get something for Christmas, but it will probably be a very small gift as I focus on updating everything.
