You Made Me Do This... Again
I'm so tired of being a CORPORATE SLAVE.
I'm expressing my frustrations for the nth time. Haha! What's new, Ate Gurl? Let's get straight to the point.
I'm talking in general. Pero T*** I#@! Pakiramdam nila kasi wala na akong ginawang matino! Or wala na akong ginawang tama! I just hate the way they (talking about my 2 bosses) INTERROGATE me about everything; my work, personal stuff, etc.
That's because I know my monthly transactions! FYI po, ma'am and sir. Pinatago nyo nga sa akin 'di ba!? Baka po nakakalimutan ninyo. You know that I really hate FOLLOW UPs!
KAYO!
By the way, pasensya na kung minsan, straight tothe point ako magsalita.
Kung paalisin man ako, go! Do it!
I know what I'm fu***ng doing.
Your forever corporate slave,
- AC

Hungary protests give opposition a chance to work together
BUDAPEST, Hungary — Recent protests in Hungary have given the fragmented opposition a real opportunity to work together as they challenge Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has led his country with increasing powers since 2010.
The protests, which started last week in the wake of new labour rules, incorporated an array of grievances on issues like limits on the free press and increasing corruption. Another rally is to be held Friday evening in Budapest.
Since returning to power eight years ago, Orban has been reshaping Hungary. New laws governing the media and churches have been enacted while the state has an ever-increasing presence in all walks of life, from industry to the arts and to sports.
With “unorthodox” policies, Orban’s governments have sought to shore up the Hungarian economy, which a decade ago needed to be bailed out by the International Monetary Fund, while also increasingly centralizing power. At election times, his Fidesz party remains popular, securing a third consecutive two-thirds majority in April.
Emboldened by his latest big majority in parliament, Orban has forced a Budapest-based university founded by billionaire philanthropist George Soros to move most its programs to Vienna. He retains his fiery rhetoric against migrants and has refused to join a new, European Union public prosecutor*s office focusing on fraud and corruption.
However, the recent protests have shown the opposition stirring.
The catalyst to the protests was a new labour code. Dubbed the “slave law” by critics, the changes won parliamentary approval on Dec. 12. They would increase the number of overtime hours employers could ask workers to put in voluntarily, essentially bringing back a six-day work week, and allow overtime payments to remain unpaid for up to three years. On Thursday, Hungary’s president signed the new code into law.
“I think the slave law is a spark, with the protest banner saying ‘We’ve had enough’ capturing it best,” said Csaba Toth, strategic director of the Republikon Institute think-tank .
Orban’s critics “have had the feeling ever since (April’s election) there’s very little they can actually do to show their dissatisfaction with the government and with the way things are going.”
The atmosphere in Hungary is certainly getting more febrile. On Monday, several opposition lawmakers were physically expelled from the state TV headquarters after spending the night in the building trying to get their demands read on air.
Akos Hadhazy, an independent lawmaker who was among those assaulted by security guards, said Hungary was now closer to becoming a dictatorship while government officials called on the opposition to respect the law.
Frustration with the amendments to the labour law began before they were passed. Opposition lawmakers were prevented by parliamentary authorities from fully expressing their views during the draft bill’s debate while government-party legislators swept aside in a single vote some 2,800 amendments to the bill.
The opposition also attempted to delay the vote in the legislature by blocking access to the speaker’s podium and blowing whistles and sounding sirens during the voting session, all to no avail.
“Whatever we try to do within the normal parliamentary framework — like presenting amendments or draft laws or debating in the committees — falls on deaf ears and everything is forcefully brushed aside,” said Timea Szabo, a lawmaker with the Dialogue party.
“We have reached the point where we simply have to resort to other means within the frame of non-violence.”
Lawmakers and supporters from a wide range of parties — from the nationalist Jobbik party to the Socialist Party, as well as the new Momemtum party and others — have been participating in the protests.
“For now it’s a fragile co-operation but we are working to strengthen it,” Szabo said. “The mere fact that we have reached the point at the end of 2018 that we can co-operate with Jobbik on some issues . is a great result. Our hope is that in the long term it can result in a new kind of co-operation.”
There have been few effective protests against Orban since 2010, though the government scrapped plans for a tax on internet usage after several rallies in 2014 by mostly young students and citizens, with one march attracting as many as 100,000 people.
“There is an emerging unity of the opposition and you can also see the unions and the civil organizations working together. All that might result in something,” Toth said, noting that national elections aren’t scheduled until 2022.
“Any attempt to go against the government starts with the opposition solidifying its own base and that’s what this is good for.”

Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter 9.5: Prison Break Chapter 2
Leeloa Ke'Ta, labeled the Outlander now, has discovered seven other heroes of the Republic and Empire were not killed in battle against the Eternal Empire but imprisoned. With the assistance of SIS agent Akos Zydrunas and her allies, the plan is to free them from their prison and see if they'll join the newly formed Alliance.
The sound of something banging against the forcefield echoed through the metallic chamber. Seven cells sat in the space, three on one side of the wide walkway and four on the other.  One the door with three, there was a computer terminal. The bang sounded again, coming from the second cell from the door. Standing it that cell was the former Emperor’s Wrath, his built in bunk torn from the wall and laying against the forcefield.
“Amazing, that didn’t work the first fifty times you did it,” the female Chiss in the first cell by the door, across from the computer terminal, said. “It’s almost as if they put in force dampeners for your cell to weaken your abilities.”
“Shut up, Cipher,” Ashmodei snarled. “I don’t see you coming up with anything.”
“That’s because I can’t think over your idiocy.”
“How the hell is the Empire even functional,” the soldier in the first cell beside the terminal muttered.

Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter 9.5: Prison Break Chapter 4
Leeloa Ke'Ta, labeled the Outlander now, has discovered seven other heroes of the Republic and Empire were not killed in battle against the Eternal Empire but imprisoned. With the assistance of SIS agent Akos Zydrunas and her allies, the plan is to free them from their prison and see if they'll join the newly formed Alliance.
The sound of the troops’ feet echoed deafeningly in the space. They seemed to be coming from everywhere all at once. This wasn’t her first time facing impossible odds, though. And she wasn’t alone either. The sound of lightsabers and blasters coming to the ready mixed in with the marching steps. Brinus and Praz exchanged glances, giving a slight nod. Praz reached out with the Force, causing the ground to shake and break at an entrance to a corridor. As the forces were unsteady, lightning crackled above them and Brinus lifted his hand to control the chaotic energy to strike.
“Jedi,” Ashmodei said, drawing Leeloa’s attention. The two had their two sabers at the ready and knew. Leaping past each other to strike at opposite corridors, striking the ground with such energy it threw back the foes.
“Well, leave it to force users to show off,” Solvi remarked, preparing her rifle and taking aim.
“Darling, that’s to be expected,” Kayree remarked, throwing a poisonous gas grenade for the corridor she was aiming at. With the troops visual fields blocked as well as dealing with the corrosive side effect of the gas, Solvi took her hint and fired multiple rounds.

Send me a 💬 for me to ramble about a random SWTOR OC
I have 48 swtor ocs, there is no such thing as greedy when asking me stuff!

Praz Toth. For information on his parents, here is a link to that.
So something I always headcanon about Praz is he's just naturally...Anxious. He always has been, from being small for a Zabrak (since Zabraks are usually towering in the six foot range for males (he got it from his mother)) to having a slight stutter he's eventually gotten a hold of. (It comes out more when he's nervous.) But his closest friend and brother figure, Kero Synagh, has also always turned people's gaze, so there's some issue with how he views his looks. It's not vanity, per se, just a lack of belief of being conventionally attractive. And that hit harder after his father died and he suffered severe injury and scarring afterwards.
Despite all this, he doesn't ever give up, he keeps trying to do good in the world, and is often the peacekeeper. He doesn't hold a grudge, preferring to let go and seek out justice when the time is right, in the proper forum. He's very sweet and supportive to his friends and others, always wanting to find a way to help others.
He's versatile in battle. His strength in the force enables him to be quick and decisive as well as support in forms of small healing as needed. It's hard to keep track of him on the battlefield, honestly, with how he tends to refuse to be stationary. He uses his smaller stature to his advantage in that area.
Tumblr media
Akos Zydrunas. Akos is 1/4 Echani and believed to be 3/4 human. His mother was a half human half echani refugee on Nar Shaddaa and did some various work in the clubs to try to make a living. Akos was born in the slums, learning how to fight to survive. He lost his eye at 14 during a vibroknife fight against someone much older than him.
He still won.
Akos started working in underground fighting rings, eventually getting the attention of the Hutts, who hired him as a bodyguard for his intimidating reputation as well as skill. This made Akos rub elbows with a variety of different people from all over the galaxy who came to see the Hutt he worked for.
Eventually, though, the Hutt left him and some others out to dry. Arrested on a Republic planet for the shipment they were delivering, Akos knew it had been a way to get rid of excess work the Hutt didn't want anymore. Apparently, the Hutt he worked for was on the bad side of a lot of people, including the Republic. Akos struck a deal, instead of going to Belsavis, he'd work with the Republic to take down the Hutt's underworld empire. He started working with the SIS and once his mission was done, he was offered to remain on because he had impressed his superiors so much with his professionalism and skills.
There's a rumor he and Theron Shan dated at some point, but neither will confirm or deny this.

Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter 9.5: Prison Break Chapter 3
Leeloa Ke'Ta, labeled the Outlander now, has discovered seven other heroes of the Republic and Empire were not killed in battle against the Eternal Empire but imprisoned. With the assistance of SIS agent Akos Zydrunas and her allies, the plan is to free them from their prison and see if they'll join the newly formed Alliance.
Ashmodei had finally given up on his attempt to break down the forcefield to his cell yet he still simmered, like a caged nexu cat waiting to strike. Meanwhile, the chance that seemed to be possible was Kayree instructing Solvi on how to possibly rewire the controls by finding the right panel. Bralov was practicing his hand-to-hand combat, Jarkiv was flipping a coin, and Praz sat in meditation. Brinus watched the two women work before giving a growl of annoyance.
“Do you really think they would enable someone to bypass from inside the cell? This isn’t some backwater planet rebels or the Republic, Nine.”
“If you have any better ideas, my lord, then please go ahead.”
“We should be planning how to take out the guards when they come to get us,” he responded. “They’ve obviously kept us alive for something. If it were my Empire, it would be public executions to make examples of us all.”
“And why’s that?” Solvi asked as she checked another metal panel.
“Look at who you are, legendary Commander of Havoc Squad,” he explained. “Everyone here has some sort of legendary status. We’re all capable.”
“Yeah, but only an idiot would take us all out at once,” Jarkiv remarked. “They’ll take us one by one, so we’d be relying on the first one out.” He put the coin in his belt pocket, standing up straight and moving closer to the forcefield. “And you three?” He motioned to Brinus, Ashmodei, and Kayree. “I wouldn’t trust to not leave us here to rot.” Jarkiv smirked and leaned against the wall, looking at them. “And you three shouldn’t trust me either…I’d let you all rot.”
