When Kitkat graduated UA, Izuku and Inko celebrated. They went all out, decorating the house, baking sweets and Kitkat's favorite food. (He may not be there in person, but he's there in spirit and that's enough).

They didn't watch him walk across the stage (Izuku still doesnt even know any identifying details about him & UA's graduation is a closed ceremony) but Izuku wrote a speech about Kitkat and his accomplishments and how proud he and his mom were over them and wishing Kitkat good luck in his future endeavors, which he performed for his mom in their living room.

(She filmed it. One day, she's going to show Kitkat himself. She already knows she's going to cry again watching it, and she'd be surprised if Kitkat doesn't as well)

Izuku didn't send the speech to Kitkat (far too embarrassing) but he did tell him congratulations and that hes so so so proud of him. He also sends a picture of their celebratory cake & explains they had his fave food for dinner - izuku follows up by asking Kitkat to go treat himself tonight please!

Shouta, unbeknownst to Izuku, blushes and smiles softly - all warm and fuzzy from Mido's pride and praise and the way he and his mom celebrated in a way Shouta knows his own parents didnt even consider. (In fact, Shouta isn't even going home after graduation. He's legally an adult now and neither he nor his parents want to live with each other any moment more. He packed his stuff up and moved in with Nemuri (who graduated a year earlier and already had an apt) earlier in the week.)

He wasn't going to celebrate - it's not really his style - but if Mido is asking, well then it can be like he's celebrating with them, even when they're apart. So he agrees and eventually sends Mido back a pic of his own reward cupcake and fave food.

All in all, it's a good day on both sides.
