We have a winnah! Oliver took 3rd place in Rally Novice Obedience and earned his RN title! Teddy took 2nd place and earned his 2nd. Tomorrow he’ll get his 3rd leg and his RN title, and Oliver his 1st leg to Intermediate. The judge had good things to say about us as teams, and we’re excited and proud of the dogs and ourselves. Mayer qualified for a Rally Novice A leg today, his first!!! We left Declan at home, we made time today (I think we did it in two minutes) and he was less distracted - and the course was a bit easier. LOLOL When we were about to go in the ring, a Cane Corso ran by with someone screaming loose dog so that kind of helped set the tone because once they caught the dog, they walked him back past Mayer with a crowd of talking people. Nice. Mayer did pretty well considering. He IS fun to work and wants to but he has the spirit of a goofy Sammy like his daddy. lol He got a score of 77 and he had to have a 70 to pass. Mom called him a C student but that's how we roll. lol Luckily, I was able to keep from having a tight leash even with him moving around and sniffing.
