Mamaw Dixie is now renamed Fern! I took her last night to her hospice home. She will be living out her days with Anna! Her new siblings include our sweet Cannoli and silly boy Gerald! 💕 Once the nerves from flying left... Fern's spirit sure perked right up! Look at that sweet soul shining right through those eyes. Anna has already started running labs and tests so we will give an update soon on hw stage and the condition that Fern is in. She immediately received a pain injection and tramadol to help with her arthritic injured leg. She was clearly in pain. She met many dogs yesterday and her new siblings. Fern is absolutely a sweet peach and gets along with everyone. 😘 Welcome, home sweet Fern.
