Thanks for the tags! It's been a while since I wrote fics and I don't have current WIPs😅But I'm intrigued by "the Prince and the Scouser" as well as the Queen's Gambit AU! Love your writing!

Hello friend!! 🫂💖 Hehe thank you 🙏 And yes, yay! Okay so here are the descriptions I’ve got for both of those AU ideas in my iPhone notes!!

THE PRINCE AND THE SCOUSER

Dominik is a Hungarian prince, desperate for a moment of independence. Trent is a journalist by day, socialist activist by night. When Dominik sneaks out of his official ambassadorial duties to play football late one evening, Trent is the one who catches him sneaking onto the Liverpool training pitch. Will he snitch, or will Dominik sneak his way into his heart instead?

(An AU loosely based on Roman Holiday, except Domi is the pretty princess instead of Audrey Hepburn. Maybe with a dash of Red, White and Royal Blue too… if I ever manage to read the book. I did watch the film adaptation though, which was cute!!)

DOMITRENT QUEEN’S GAMBIT AU

Mo is the reigning chess world champ. But Trent is killing it on the circuit, the young upstart. He was once Mo’s protege but now he wants to beat him and take his crown. However, Mo’s other protege is Domi… and Domi might be on a mission to sabotage Mo’s other former protege…

Seduction plot turns into oh no, maybe I actually love him… but do I love himself to sacrifice my chance at winning it all?

(P.S. I have only ever watched one episode of The Queen’s Gambit and I cancelled my Netflix subscription months ago lol, so this one will require some additional research haha. And also I have no idea about anything related to chess, only that Mo and Trent enjoy it.)
