Hi! I JUST discovered and got into your AJTTP fic and I absolutely DEVOURED every chapter, I'm in love!

I noticed that it hasn't been updated in a while, and while I know some fic authors hate to have this asked, I was wondering if you'd ever see yourself going back to it someday?

Thanks, I’m so glad you’ve liked it ♥️ It’s been a really fun story to work on!! And hearing things like this help me stay motivated—not a bother at all.

I’ll definitely update it someday again, and I’m at a really exciting point so it’s not for lack of wanting. Just been busy with living!

I will say, season 5 really inspired me, though. I just finished watching it through and I enjoyed the new season :)

Some of y’all may have already seen this from the end of chapter 9 of AJTTP, but I wanted to post it here as well.

And to any of my new followers: this is Sara AKA Princess Saraiah (rayllum child) and Jaron (Soren’s son) from my story A Journey To The Past which is basically just an Anastasia AU. Check it out if you’re bored, lol!

So um I dont wanna be THAT person (especially if you've had people nonstop ask you already) but will there be more A Journey to the past updates?

I kinda got super attached 😂, and I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that we get to see it have more chapters.💙 love your writing!

There will definitely be updates in the future! I’m stretched pretty thin in my life right now, so I’m not able to do much creating for my fandoms :,(

BUT! I do plan on finishing up AJTTP! With the last update, it felt like a natural “season finale,” if you will, so I’m letting it rest for a bit before releasing the final few chapters later. As of now I don’t even have a realistic time line as to when the next update will come out so… guess it’ll just be a surprise. I’ll probably post about it here on my tumblr page.

Thank you for your continued interest! These asks don’t bother me at all. They remind me people are interested in what I make, and that means a lot! ❤️ keeps a gal motivated.

Well I went a bit crazy with this one, but it was a lot of fun!

Here’s the new cover for AJTTP, my Anastasia AU for my TDP story.

I may or may not have traced a bit of his armor bc I could NOT get the perspective right, plus I got a bit lazy during the coloring process, but hey! This is my general idea for Jaron in The Dragon Prince style. 

Looks pretty similar to Soren, though there are definitely a few differences if you can spot them (aside from coloring). I used this photo for lighting/background reference.

I have two Rayllum OCs, Sara and Rune! Sara is the only Rayllum OC included in AJTTP bc Rayla and Callum decided not to have another kid because ~trauma~ so Rune isn’t in that story. However, in future stories I write, I want to explore Rune’s character!

The only tip I can give on dialogue is if you can’t imagine someone saying it, don’t use it. Dialogue should feel predictable and comfortable to read because it’s what we’d say or hear. It should be expected, not confusing and unnatural. Introspection and descriptions are where you can get creative and artsy with verbiage. But that’s just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt! :)
