Welcome; an Introduction by Alice

Hello,

My name is Alice, I'm 23 years old, and I use she/her pronouns. I suppose I would consider myself a fictionkin of Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, although I may update this label for myself later on, as I am not completely sure if it fits me exactly. I started this blog to explore this side of my identity.

My favorite adaptations of the Wonderland tale are American McGee's Alice, and the 1915 and 1999 films. I love experiencing them stoned, as it really enhances the dreamlike quality that I love about the story. I also have a deep love of the liminal space aesthetic which I want to highlight on this blog. I feel a sense of familiarity in such images, and I imagine exploring those spaces much like Wonderland, an idea of a place so salient in my memory, but with just enough strangeness so as to render it baffling yet exciting.

I'm new to Tumblr, so forgive me if I misunderstand the etiquette or customs of the community. I have @strange-aeons to thank for the motivation to join Tumblr; her introductory video on the subject was greatly informative. My asks are open, and I would love to interact with other fans of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or members of the fictionkin community.
