A full pack of sketches

I really don’t know how to describe my idea) I just wanted to see, how it would look like, if Airwolf was a real wolf. In this AU people decided to use wolves instead of dogs in combat. But something goes wrong, and only one wolf, called Lady, managed to survive all of the experiments. As a result, she’s got consciousness and can understand people, but can’t talk with them and has to use specific signals to explain, what she thinks. And, yes, she is a master in handling state-of-the-art techniques (especially weapons). That reminded me a beginning of Disney cartoon “Bolt”

Maybe I will develop this idea with more details. For now, sharing rough concept…

My next canine au sketch!)

Firstly it should be Red Wolf as continuation of my Airwolf au https://www.tumblr.com/dances-with-kelpies/768880998580731904

But when I made a first head design, I realised, that this expressions and overall shape is more suitable for another character from another fandom. And yeah it was Blade Ranger…

I’ve decided to make him a mix breed between alsatian and husky (alsaky?). From german shepherd he inherited a classic black and tan pattern (and he looks like shepherd at all) and from husky side - extensive white areas of fur and non-typical blue eyes. Both breeds are strong and smart dogs, so Blade in fact was born to search and rescue works.

The most difficult part for me was, how to translate the design of OG Blade on “alsaky” Blade. I replaced his hoist with lasso, because I don’t have any ideas, how dog supposed to use a hoist )) I think he handles(pawles) with lasso like Apple Jack from MLP do. About scars from burning. Animals have no hair at the burn site and their skin needs to be protected from ultraviolet, so Blade has to wear something like bandage, but I still need to develop this moment better

At the end, of course I’ll make Red Wolf, but from now I also need to finish all F&R team…)

P. S. Alsatian and german shepherd are the same breed

I also like your WoC AU for Airwolf (well, it was one of the reasons, why I’ve started to watch it). The incorrect quotes with Blade and Nick are my favourites)
