SHIPPING INFO!

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER?:

I’m always so nervous talking about ships I like I’m kajndfkajndfkjndf

I love all the ships I write, or have discussed more than written aksndfkajnd (Alleria/Willa, Kelantir/Halduron, Thalyssra/Nera, Lor’themar/Airlia with @sunrunnerrs​, Tyrande/Sylv, Nathanos/Sylv with @ladywindrunner​ we also begun exploring lor’themar/sylv and I like it :eyes:, Tyrande/Malfurion and Illidan/Kael with @aen-consilium​ and Alex/Kori with @psychcdelica​ and also Tiffin/Varian with @goldwrynn​ and Myrcella/Robb with @wclfcrown​) but I love some I never got to write too. I like Alleria and Turalyon, I just don’t like how canon does it kajndfkandf Tyrande/Ysera is otp, I like Tyrande/Illidan too and Thalyssra/Liadrin. For my DA characters, I have no ships with any of them currently. I like Morrigan/Warden depending on Warden ofc but like, generally speaking? aiushdiafiduhf but also since we’re here and I’ve already listed some ships that I’m always nervous to mention let’s add one more and say I like Morrigan/Alistair too. I like Velanna/Nathaniel tentatively and am mostly team Velanna/anyone who loves her as she deserves. For my Warden and my Hawke and also Nalice I don’t really have any to list that I particularly like I think. Anyways! none of those is set in stone as I just like that or anything like it, it’s just I find them interesting. But when it comes to writing, it really is more about chemistry to me, and I’ve written ships I wouldn’t have initially thought of before and came to love them dearly after writing them so! 

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO WRITE WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?:

I love angsty relationships, and I love fluff, and I’m willing to write most things. I’m not interested in anything that’s like, uh, strictly abusive, but toxic/problematic relationships are fair game for me. So pretty much anything? 

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:

Specially considering average human lifespans do not apply to many of my muses, it is more a matter of everyone involved being consenting adults really, with a similar maturity level.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:

More or less? There has to be chemistry, both in like, writing and the characters as well as with me getting along with the other mun ooc, even if we don`t talk much. I’ll be down for discussing it if we talk ooc a lot even if we haven`t yet written those particular two characters together, and at the same time I`ll be okay with shipping something that happens from something we`re writing even if we don`t really interact ooc much, but if we haven`t interacted at all I won`t really be interested in shipping until we do. I was less selective in the past, I think, but I’m not really super selective even now aisudhuiah it`s really just a matter of interaction, both in character and out of character.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?:

Anything that`s explicit is considered nsfw but I`ll tag anything that`s even suggestive because I prefer to be safe.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?:

I like discussing ships, but not necessarily. I’ve had ships that just happened without prior discussion and that I love dearly and I find developing it through writing and letting it happen very satisfying. But I am up for discussing stuff beforehand if I’m familiar with the mun, and even more so if we already have a ship. I’m 100% fine with anyone asking about a ship if we write together and haven`t shipped yet and you see potential, as long as you do so fully aware no is a possible answer skjdnfkandsf I do prefer to talk to people and write with them before shipping, though. 

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?:

I really love ships tbh! Relationships (and here I’m using the word in the broader sense, not only romantic relationships) are my favorite when it comes to developing characters, and I love writing romantic relationships too. When I get really invested in a ship I can discuss it forever probably kajsndkfjn But I also don’t feel like everything has to be a ship or everyone has to have a romantic relationship to someone else. Some of the best bonds are often platonic, and I get as invested in (or more) platonic ships as I do romantic relationships honestly. I really do like shipping though! I don`t know if I`d say obsessed but I definitely lean more towards that than towards more or less.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?:

Depends on the muse! I default to being multiship, and my ships with @sunrunnerrs​ that are singleship were actually the first time I ever went singleship with anyone, so for that to happen we have to be pretty close ooc. For the most part, I`m multiship but exclusive with one version of a character, so I usually don`t write the same ship with multiple people. Kelantir is singleship with Aera`s Halduron and Thalyssra with Nera, but other than that everyone works like I said before.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?:

Beyond the already mentioned ships, I think Tyrande/Maiev has a lot of potential in a enemies to lovers sort of way; I love Wranduin (thanks Novi and Flower for blessing my dash with good content always); Stellagosa/Valtrois and Lorna/Tess are neat, and hmmm that’s mostly it for WoW. I used to love Rhonin and Vereesa a whole lot back when I begun reading the WoW books too. For DA, I like Leliana/Josie, Mahariel/Tamlen, Carver/Merrill, Merrill/Isabela, Solavellan, hmm I think there’s more? but I don’t remember now? and all the PC romances from DAO and Hawke/Fenris, Hawke/Anders and Hawke/Isabela; I like Cullen and the Inquisitor too. For ASOIAF I’m just tired and not invested enough in the fandom currently to mention any ships kjndkjnfkandfjn 

FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?:

Step 1: write with me. Step 2: talk to me. Sometimes ships just happen with Step 1. Lots of times, Step 2 is just as important. It really depends, but it really isn’t hard. I love shipping and I’m always open to discuss ships!

one of the best listeners there is, I said it. 

despite his persona, he could listen to you for HOURS and not get tired. also the type to remember specific things you like that you mention in passing and you get surprised when he knows what you mean

he could be gambling and you could be talking to him and he would almost memorize all of what you’re throwing at him.

the type of person to hype the shit out of you in closed quarters

ALSO ALSO IMAGINE GOSSIP KING AVEN like that would be so cute. you could text him during your lunch break at work and be like “omg babe guess what?” and no matter how busy he is, he ALWAYS responds immediately and it stuns you how quick he is. 

The type to throw/spend his credits on you almost (not enough to be reckless but you get what I mean) recklessly, but if you ask him to stop, he will. spending his credits on you is NOT his love language (imo)

he gets very cuddly at night and he is pretty warm to cuddle with (not in the summertime when it’s abysmally hot tho). he knows when to back off. 

when you called him Kakavasha for the first time, he cried because he has never been so emotionally vulnerable with someone before except for his sister. 

your honor, I love him (10/10 experience, y’all work shit out together)

he is also a very good listener but will interrupt your tangents of interest to ask questions because he is curious and this is a subject he wishes to know better. 

Despite his “I hate idiots” aura/attitude, he would do ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING for you. you want a hug? it’ll be awkward as fuck, but he’ll give you one. 

top of the head/forehead kisses >>> for him are the way to this man’s heart, I just know it. he also likes giving you those types of kisses in closed quarters. 

I can’t see him liking butterfly kisses though, it would take too much adjusting and for whatever reason, it overwhelms him. 

texts you about his teachings, research, or any breakthroughs in whatever he’s doing as well as plans to stay late etc.,

his communication skills are top-notch it’s kinda crazy.

the clingiest motherfucker it’s insane, but you love it. 

anytime he gets a break, he messages you about how much he misses you. 

this man WILL pass the fuck out if you scratch his scalp, I just know it. the second your hands go through his hair and take out the ribbon, it’s game over for both of you. good luck trying to move an almost corpse with how heavy he can sleep. 

he tells yanqing ALL about you if he gets the feeling he is going to marry you. granted, you’d have to be with him for a long ass time before he tells yanqing anything about you, but if he has that feeling, he and yanqing will be having a session of talking about you and respecting people (instead of their rigorous training) cause why the hell not :D

he will be happy and upset if you’re a long-living species like he is, because while he wants to live forever with you, it’s possible he may get sad because of something happening with you. 

clingy but not overbearing- if you get overwhelmed, he WILL pick up on the signs and give space if you need it. 

I saw a post (which I reblogged bc that’s so smart fr) as well as yunli’s trailer (idk I think that’s what they said that was from) that jing yuan went “pspspsps” and i think he definitely treats you like a cat and does “pspspsps” to get your attention. you could be reading or doing something (your attention is not on him) and he’ll just go “pspspsps (name)” and it irritates the shit out of you

synopsis: a “young” person unexpectedly bumps into their soulmate (prompt was taken from thewritepractice.com)

word count: 359

a/n: tbh not proud of this but that’s not the point lol. can read as fem reader or gender-neutral! the title has not correlation to the fic, and if yk where i got the title from, ur a real one (txt song). Also vidyadhara reader who is a healer ‘cause i said so. You work with lingsha lots- she’s the reason for your meeting :D 

For once, the world was at peace. At least, that’s what you thought. Lingsha had sent you out on a small mission to get something for her, and you get interrupted as you’re on your way to your destination. Out of nowhere, there’s screaming and so much noise going on. Curiosity gets the better of you and you go and search where the sound is coming from. You rush to the scene and are met with mara-struck soldiers. Not unusual, scratch that, what the hell is going on. A young boy with blonde hair is fighting these monsters, and you feel obligated to give support, healing the boy when he gets scratches on him. You then notice a glimmer of white hair out of your peripheral. Suddenly, the lightning lord finishes off the foes you and the boy faced. That was quick, you thought. 

“Well done, Yanqing. Though, your technique was a bit rushed,” the white haired male said. 

“Thank you, general, I will make note of that,” the boy responded. 

Wait, general?! I helped the apprentice? Aw, shit, Lingsha will NOT let me live this down, you thought. 

When you made eye contact with him, the world stopped momentarily. Things stopped moving and it was as if only you two were capable of moving. Time slowed, and you could feel it. If every cliche moment happened at once, that’s what your entire existence felt like. Did you just meet your soulmate; wait, was he talking to you?

“Thank you for helping my apprentice,” Jing Yuan said. 

“Oh, it was nothing! I just made sure he was healthy and well,” you replied. The general smiled slightly, looked at Yanqing, and back to you. 

“Where are you headed?” 

“Oh, Miss Lingsha needed me to grab something for her in Starskiff Haven.” 

“We’ll escort you there.” 

“No no! That’s not necessary!” 

“You never know what dangers may await you- lest you get hurt.” 

And so, that’s how the general and his apprentice walked you to Starskiff Haven and back to the Alchemy Commission where Lingsha was waiting. You were never going to hear the end of this from her, were you?

guinaifen: 

shows off her “magic skills” to little kids and they are all over it

an absolute comedian, but people don’t find her funny because their sense of humor is different from hers

she and sushang get into all sorts of trouble and jiaoqiu finds it hilarious

Speaking of jiaoqiu, since he knew sushang as a baby, he could have known guinaifen as a small kid too and that makes my heart happy (just a theory, not confirmed, but the sushang bit is real)

kids absolutely flock to her when they’re lost and since she’s probably good with kids, she comforts them and sits with them until their parents show up

he takes solace in your touch and anything you give him- no matter how much or little you give. he knows he loves the feeling of being touched, he just… doesn’t deserve it? no, he doesn’t deserve you… does he?

“why do you love me?” 

you look at him quizzically, almost like a deer caught in the headlights of an approaching car. you turn your gaze to him, and you smile. 

“you may not know why i love you, but i can assure you, you are worthy of love. I love you for being you. we’re able to be vulnerable together, you’re kind, compassionate-”

he shuts you up with a featherlight kiss to your lips. if you weren’t so focused on him, you would have missed the feeling. he may never know why he feels the way he does, but he’s thankful for you.
