AEROLINEA: American Airlines. AÑO: 1979. VUELO: 191. AERONAVE: DC-10. LUGAR: Chicago. EVENTO: Motor izquierdo se desprendió del ala. CAUSA: El vuelo 191 de American Airlines realizaba la ruta CHICAGO-CALIFORNIA en un McDonnel Douglas DC-10. Durante la carrera de despegue el motor izquierdo se desprendió del ala. Debido a la descompensación de estabilidad, la aeronave se inclinó bruscamente. El DC-10 impacto con el terreno quitándole la vida a 273 personas incluyendo 2 personas en tierra. La investigación reveló que; el motor del ala izquierda fue reemplazado anteriormente. Durante la instalación del motor, el soporte que sujeta el motor con el ala fue golpeado durante las tareas de mantenimiento. La subsecuente vibración, carga y tensión causada por el motor causa la ruptura del soporte. El motor cayó sobre la pista durante el despegue. ◼️➖➖➖➖ENGLISH➖➖➖➖➖◼️ AIRLINE: American Airlines. YEAR: 1979. FLIGHT: 191. AIRCRAFT: DC-10. PLACE: Chicago. EVENT: #1 engine separated from the left wing. CAUSE:American Airlines flight 191 was on route CHICAGO-CALIFORNIA using a DC-10 aircraft. During take-off roll, the left engine ripped off from the left wing-to-engine supporting structure (pylon). The DC-10 rolled over itself and fell off crashing into the ground. 273 people died instantly including 2 people on ground. Investigators revealed that an engine change was accomplished before. During the engine installation maintenance activities, the engine supporting strut was seriously damaged. Subsequent fatigue, tension and vibration caused the engine support to break apart. The Role and Responsibilities of Pilots in India

A pilot in India has a wide range of responsibilities. To operate an aircraft safely and successfully, a pilot has to have a thorough grasp of aviation laws, weather conditions, directions, communication, as well as aircraft systems.
