I’m going to share a secret about the Airbnb and Vacation Rental business: form partnerships. What you see in this photo is my business partner, Ari, and I entertaining a group of wedding planners at one of our North Vancouver vacation rental properties. Here’s what we did: ✅ We picked up the wedding planners by boat ✅ We brought our private chef and made them a gourmet lunch ✅ We enjoyed sweeping waterfront views on the massive deck alongside some red wine. The question is: why did we do this? We did it because we want to tap into the network that the wedding planners have access to. You see, the smallest weddings in North America averages $30,000. But the clientele that we target, routinely spends six figures - sometimes even seven figures - on their weddings. When we host weddings at our properties, the rate ranges from $5K/day to $50K/day depending on the property and the group size. The quickest way to make seven figures in the vacation rental business is by targeting weddings during the peak Summer season. Hosting weddings can be fun and lucrative. This is your chance to impress the reader with the specifications of your property.
