Aico Tyra au
So this us something that ive talked about in the kinessie discord. basically the idea is that after the sentinals disbanded instead of leaving last tyra was instead approched by lian, and hired to be her to be the primus of house aico, these are just some hc's on what it would be like.
So at first tyra is unsure to do it, the sentinals may be gone, buck and kinessa had already left, but viktor and strix were still the only family she had, she didnt wanna leave them
It was actually strix fhat convinced her to go, he told her it would be alright, and he would be sure to take care of vik as best he could
Lian was estatic that tyra accepted. Not onlu would she not be forced to take some guard here parents chose, but now her primus was going to be her girlfriend
Tyra waz facinated my lians homeland, it was something...new to her, thats probably why she was so interested yet scared by it
She was made the official primus in a long and glorious ceremony, much to the dismay of lian's parents who were there
Tyra was made custom armor bythe finest smiths in the land. It looked like a combonation of her lotus skin and Khan's armor, though tyra didnt not have a helmate. Lian also made sure tyra could put her bearskin cape on the armor
Tyra would keep her braid most of the time, sometimes trying an asian bun
Though she didn't exactly love having to "be proper" and "follow orders" she was at least happy it was lian telling her what to do
Tyra worked for lian for 3 years before the 2 returned to the magustrate headquarters for a meeting
When tyra arrived she saw strix and viktor. She walked up to them and simply muttered "you two got old" before they all hugged and cried, the entire night was spent sharing stories of what had happen in the years they were away.
During her time as the primus tyra did marry lian, though unofficially as lian didnt want the nation to freak out that she married her own guard. They keep it a secret for now
When the crystals war started tyra didnt fight for the magistrate, she fights for lain and lian alone. And will follow any decision her scion makes, for she is tyra, primus of house aico

Flying fists aka Boxing au
This is a mess born from discord but everyone wanted me to post it so here it is.
All anyone needs to know jumping in are the divisions i’m using which are: fly > straw> bantam > jr lightweight > lightweight > welter> middle > jr heavy > heavyweight
The two main organizations/Gyms that sponsor tournaments and everyone knows their names, that would the Magistrates and the Paladins, the rivalry is 100% fake but they play it up as much as physically possible for the hype factor.
Ash is the Middleweight headliner for the Magistrate gym, possibly even the champion. Her matches against Inara, the Paladins own middle-weight headliner, are something to look forward too as they fight for the belt. The two are both known rivals and household names.
Tyra is a Lightweight who’s trying to do the impossible and take on the entire middleweight division aiming to face Ash. Originally from the Sentinel gym who transferred over to the Magistrate after its collapse she’s now swapped over to the Paladins after her contract ran out. while her main goal is to defeat Ash she’s always wanted to fight her own gym-mates where there are real stakes lines up.
The sentinel was an Old gym that fell apart shortly after Viktor lost his title as Welterweight champion and was forced to go into rehab due to injury; Everyone just moved on to other gyms. viktors finally making his return to the ring on the Magistrates side with a new but shortly lived hairstyle. Not even strix would let him keep it.
Terminus is the Magistrate’s prime Heavyweight headliner with an undefeated streak coming out of a 3 year retirement. Previously he fought for the paladins and is a big point of contention for fans and papers alike.
Mal’damba is an ex-boxer forced to retire due to being a sufferer of Fibro, He created his own gym, uncreatively named Wekono with a certain snake as its mascot and pet. He now spends his time training and coaching other boxers, primarily Flyweights. This includes Ying a newcomer, 2 of her sisters,The eccentric Willo, Pip, and previously Fernando who is now the Middleweight headliner and champion for the Magistrate. The latter of which unfortunately is a personal headache of his due to actions in the aka “I didn’t train you to act like this”
Fernando joined the magistrate in order to emulate his old Shining Knight, the previous Middleweight champion that unfortunately retired when Nando was brought on board. The magistrate gave him a very hype-focused backstory believing he would be one of their hottest ticket sellers and Fern unironically believes it. Mal is usually brought back to assist in his training via personal request. This flirtatious disaster will flirt with just about anyone and can never seem to catch a break, even Skye wont return his flirting and is completely exasperated with him.
Alongside Ash, Skye is a Major headliner for the Bantamweight women’s division on the Magistrate’s side. Her fem-fatale personality an over the top act put on for the audience and her opponent alike, while off the ring she has a somewhat different personality. This doesn’t stop her from briefly kissing her opponents mid-match in order to throw them off, especially if it happens to be Evie or Maeve. Evie (bantamweight) is an odd sort living with Skye that travels between gyms and orgs on a near daily basis, clearly not set to a contract but rather brought on for individual matches and thus you’ll never quite know who she’ll be fighting for next.
Maeve is an off the streets bantamweight up-and-comer quickly climbing her way up the rankings as the Sole Headliner and reason for the Cats-eyes gym staying afloat. Previously she used to fight in underground matches, where she would bluff defeat by letting her opponent get the upper hand early on before decimated them when most bets were placed on them; her opponents included both men and women. She was forced to take things legit when her face started getting recognized and thus started making less money.
Kinessa is a Lightweight who likes to hop around between gyms and tends to find herself sticking with the magistrate more often than not. The girl started off in the underground fighting in any ring she could until she caught the eye of Strix an ex-sentinel and current trainer for the magistrates main gym. While mostly fighting in legal matches nowadays this doesn't stop her from going back to the underground when she feels like it.
Khan is the Magistrates Jr. Heavyweight headliner and has the personality to boast for it with Lian standing in as his second and personal trainer right beside him. as Lian is a second for him so is Khan as second for her when she enters the Lightweight ring. The two are considered their own little team within the magistrate and are allowed to for lack of better term wave their own flag, House Aico is greatly respected within the ring.
Like Mal, Jenos has his own gym, granted established far earlier than Wekono. While never really producing any noteworthy Boxers before, Jenos managed to snatch up Buck an ex-wrestler and ex-sentinel and magistrate boxer for his own. In order to sell tickets the magistrate and jenos both love to play up his leaving as a treacherous rivalry.
Zhin is a self proclaimed lightweight “Heel” that does his best to hype his image as a ruthless tyrant, from his own little hole in the wall gyme that not many have heard from, however with him as its lead boxer it’s starting to grow a name for itself. No one has been able to tell him heels are not a thing within boxing yet.
Cassie is a Lightweight who’s new to the scene fighting for the Paladins trying to make a name for herself and attempt to stay out of her fathers shadow, Arturos who was considered a legendary boxer in his day. unfortunately people still remember him and keep refering to her as “Arturos’ Daughter” instead of her own person; she hates this greatly and goes to great lengths to distance herself even moving out on her own and living with Kinessa.
Like other paladins Cassie is currently training under Makoa, an old boxer and trainer who’s well established in the community, and Barik a commission for hire Trainer who’s seen traveling between both big-names. Usually can be seen making friends with Makoa’s grandson and second-in-training Talus who is far too young to be in the ring and very hyped to witness all the matches.
Seris works occasionally works as a cut-man for either side but her main focus is to be the on-site medic for emergencies alongside Grover the old doctor who’s been around long enough to see many champions rise, fall and return; including viktor and terminus.
Grohk is an ex-Boxer who took far too many blows to the head with a skewed perception of things, due to health concerns he now works as a hype styled secondary announcer for a small time gym alongside Ruckus. (Bolt is a big benefactor for both the paladins and the magistrate)
Kharne and Valera are both announcers for their respective organizations, sometimes even joining in on the other’s desk during tournaments to provide insight, with Vivian and Torvald sitting right beside Kharne. Torv more so focused on the analyst aspect of his work.
Interactions i couldn’t fit in: Fernando consistently tries to flirt with Skye while shes training, getting completely ignored each time but when he hardcore falls for someone he begins to beg her for tips. Skye tries to ignore him but he just gets too annoying for it and threatens to tell someone she likes that she wasn’t just messing with them on the ring forcing the flirtatious master to help the disaster.

omg.. highschool aus are the best thing ever. pls pls we need a list of ur headcannons
oh boy oh boy ive had these au headcanons for a while its a gift to share them
i’ll throw them under a readmore
- lex is a hall monitor/prefect/whatever you call the seniors who think theyre The Law. he will tackle you to the ground if youre out of class without a pass, he once flipped androxus because he found him vaping in the hallway. does lex go to any classes himself? no one really knows
- as i said before, androxus vapes. hes an emo who likes to wear hoodies and sulk. he wont do much harm, though, at a party he’ll just sit in a corner with a beer and talk to the cat
- pip and ruckus are a year under the others and they think they are The Coolest. they arent, they trade fidget spinner tricks and blow up the science lab. pip is really intelligent for his age, but he rather spend his time causing havok. an evil genius, of sorts
- the senior girls; cassie, kinessa, skye, ash, ying and tyra, have a group chat which is always ripe with drama. skye gets up to the most drama so everyone looks forward to hearing abt her nights out. theyre all good friends and hang out frequently
- lian’s family founded the school, so she expects special treatment and thinks she’s above everyone. she doesnt get special treatment whatsoever, she likes to think she does. kinessa films every time she kicks off because her test scores weren’t perfect. it started a meme around the school that if anyone acted like that you’d say “youre being an aico”
- buck is popular just because girls find him hot, he’s just a sweet dude he doesnt feel like he should be so popular. him and sha lin hang out and are Good Buds i support them
- cassie and kinessa have a reason that theyre always voted ‘cutest couple’, thats because they are. theyre both great people why wouldnt you love them. lex is fed up with them tho bcs of the amount of times he’s had to find them in empty classrooms making out during their free periods
- theyre also competitive as hell, so see them in classes trying to one-up each other constantly. being smart, competitive, AND in a relationship dont go well for the teachers who get tired of their shit
- ash tries to keep an eye on maeve in school as she’s afraid her sister will get into trouble with her short temper. maeve and evie are close friends so ash asked evie to make sure maeve doesnt go to far with anything.
- you should see ash at school competitions, tho, she cheers obnoxiously loud for her sister and is always immensely proud of her
- the older champs are teachers, like inara being a geography teacher and barik being a technologies teacher. they are all very tired and Fed Up. staff nights out are lit af tho
thats all i have for now!! if anyone has anymore highschool headcanons then hit me up with those!!!

Lian, Scion of House Aico. New damage champion from Paladins, released today. Haven’t had a chance to play her (and probably won’t for a while due to instalocks), but she looks fun. She might even rival Tyra as a favorite damage champ for me.
Struggled a bit with this painting. Trying to break out of the creative funk I’ve been in. I’m happy with parts of it, while other parts of it could use some work.
Recorded a video for her too, if you like to watch speedpaints/timelapses.
youtube
Hope you’re all enjoying your day/night!

Ash x Tyra x Lian Headcannons
I have Instantly fell in love with this ship, I wanna thank @kinessie and the anon that sent that ask, now time for cute headcanons
Lian’s pure dom energy is the only thing that balances Ash and Tyra’s pure butch energy.
Ash and Tyra work out together a lot, lian sometimes joins them but most of the time she just likes to watch, she has yet to make it through a session without getting a nosebleed cause ash decides to wear shirts that show off her abs.
lian likes to buy ash and tyra expensive jewelry, nothing is to expensive for her loves. tyra enjoys stuff with amber in it, meanwhile ash enjoys rubys.
being a noble lian is invited to many formal events, she always brings ash and tyra along, if anyone says she cant because ash and tyra “are not of noble blood”, the person will soon find themselves loosing all support from and becoming an enemy of house Aico.
lian spends hours trying to get ash and trya dressed for formal events, tyra hates being forced to put on a long dress, and ash’s hair remains spiky and messy no matter what you do.
because of this lian will let them wear suits to formal events whenever they can, which is nice cause ash and tyra look beautiful in suits and lian is a useless lesbian so she just gushes over them all night long.
ash loves to join tyra on hunts, nothing says I love you like cuddling under a blanked in the middle of the woods and kissing, then 15 seconds later shooting and gutting a bear.
lian does not go on the trips, she finds the whole thing gross and a bit barbaric. thankfully when tyra and ash return they make a new blanket out of the pelts and then snuggle up with lian to make up for the time they were gone.
ash and tyra have a lot of battle scars, some bad ones still cause phantom/ scar tissue pains. whenever this happens lian will snuggle up, run her hand though their hair and talk calmly to them while rubbing pain reliever on the scar
they are very open about their relationship in public, being a noble some question lian’s choices of love, they are soon shut up by the war machine cracking her knuckles and giving them a glare that could make gods scared.
lian and tyra usually switch who is the little and middle spoon every night, but ash is and will always be the big spoon
ash is actually an amazing cook, which is good cause lian can only make drinks and if its not met, soup, or jerky tyra can and will burn it, she has burnt cereal, ash and lian are still wondering how the in the actual fuck she managed to do it.
they kiss in public a lot, lian loves jumping up and giving as a smooch on the cheek
lian loves to walk around town holding both ash and tyra’s hands, she loves her girlfriends and wants everyone in the realm to know that

As much as I don't like the Magistrate, I really do [want to] think that most of their members are good people that don't know what the higher-ups' true intentions are. People have their flaws and they do stupid stuff, but if anyone of the Magistrate would be pegged as the 'bad guy' I think it would be Grand Magister Karne. Then of course Vivian, Zhin and Seris with the Abyss. But yeah, the Magistrate has become a dictatorship and it's Karne's fault.
Karne definitely has his loyal followers that fully know what he was doing. He isn't the only evil one in this situation. Take Viktor and Tyra for instant. Both recognised what Karne was doing, and only Tyra left while Viktor pledged @ eternal loyalty.Khan also knew, given his position in House Aico. It's unlikely that a general who also has a line "For the Magistrate!" wouldn't know what Karne was doing. But given the benefit of doubt, maybe Khan was following Lian's orders. Which means that she knows well what Karne is doing and wants a piece of the power.

Everyone's favorite piece of clothing they have (if applicable)
I stretched the meaning of clothing, a bit, to include whatever the champions are wearing (including jewelry, etc). I hope that’s okay!
-Mod Androxus
Ash- Given how she fights, Ash is probably pretty attached to her armor. Her ram pauldron might be her favorite piece, though. It’s big, good for shoulder bashing, and intimidating.
Barik- His safety goggles. They might be broken, now, but they’ve stood strong in the past through all sorts of mechanical mishaps. If he didn’t have them, he might not have working eyes, so he owes them that.
Fernando- I’m going to turn this on its head and say that Fernando’s least favorite article of clothing is his helmet. Sure, it protects him, but it obscures his beautiful face.
Inara- While she takes pride in her skirt, gloves, and other clothing, Inara’s favorite is smaller. It’s the flower in her hair. It never dies or wilts, and in that regard it’s like stone.
Makoa- He doesn’t wear a whole lot of anything, but he would jokingly answer his shell. I mean, it’s literally part of his spine.
Ruckus- He thinks his fingerless gloves make him look cool, like a battle pilot. They’re worn in from use, but he won’t stop wearing them. Truthfully, they were regular gloves that Ruckus cut the fingers off of.
Terminus- He doesn’t wear much, and isn’t concerned with favorites. If he had to chose, it might be his headdress.
Torvald- His glasses. He wouldn’t be able to see anything without them, and he needs precise sight to read books and work with rune magic.
Bomb King- As a golem, he can’’t change clothes or put them on. Still, his favorite ‘clothing’ item is undoubtedly his crown, for obvious reasons.
Cassie- Her cape. It was one of her father’s capes that he would wear hunting in the woods. When she ran off to join the Paladins, she figured it would protect against the cold better than nothing.
Drogoz- His horn baubles. They were his first valuable treasure, and from the moment he clipped them on, he felt more like a real dragon than he ever had.
Kinessa- Either her scarf or her boots. She doesn’t have a strong sentimental attachment to either, but both are practical and exactly her favorite style.
Lian- She prides herself on representing House Aico with her clothing, so all of her clothing is a special in that right. Her favorite might be her gloves- a well known symbol of her house.
Sha Lin- He likes to keep things simple but dramatic, and so his favorite clothing is his shirt. It’s practical for desert travel, and shows off his good looks. Its a win-win.
Strix- Definitely his owl cape or hood. Despite the rest of the Magistrate snipers wearing assigned uniforms that help camouflage them, Strix stays hidden and connected to his home with his unique cape.
Tyra- Her bear pelt. It was one of her most thrilling hunts, and she wears the pelt as a badge of honor. It keeps her warm and shows enemies and friends that she means business.
Viktor- His belt. It holds ammo, supplies, weaponry like his bombs, and whatever else he needs. The crystal in it packs some magical energy that he can use, as well.
Vivian- Her short-coat. Its bright red and elegant design gives her even more of a commanding presence than otherwise, and it lets everyone know that she’s aligned with the Magistrate.
Willo- She doesn’t wear many different articles of clothing, so her flower skirt is by default her favorite. Bright colors tend to be a status symbol among fairies, and Willo’s colors show off that she’s a ‘knight’ of sorts.
Grohk- His headdress marks him as chief of his tribe, so it’s no doubt that it’s important to him. Besides, the horns on its sides strike fear into more cowardly enemies.
Grover- While he doesn’t wear anything and can’t really wear anything, Grover appreciates it when the forest creatures decorate his branches with flower garlands.
Jenos- He takes pride in all of his celestial clothing, but none more so than his mask. It protects mortals from seeing his face, which could be dangerous for them.
Mal’Damba- Likewise, Mal’damba’s mask is his favorite ‘clothing’. It protects his identity and helps him connect more with Wekono- it means a lot to him, from a spiritual standpoint.
Pip- His vest. It’s very comfortable, doesn’t get all full of his hair, and is still practical in battle. It keeps him warm, but doesn’t let him get too hot. It’s a pretty darn good vest.
Seris- Her blindfold. If her eyes- or possible lack thereof- were visible to mortals, the result could be disastrous. Even a glance at them might drive someone to insanity, if they aren’t strong of will.
Ying- Her entire dress is more comfortable than it looks, though it isn’t all that comfortable. Luckily, it doesn’t matter as much since she floats rather than walks.
Androxus- Like many champions on this list, Androxus favors his mask. He’s scared of what others might think of him, if he didn’t wear it. If he had to chose more conventional clothes, it would be his coat.
Buck- His red sash was a gift to him at the monastery for all of his training. Even in battle, he wears it as a sign that he is bringing peace, even if it has to be brought by unfortunate methods.
Evie- Her dress makes her feel cute and powerful. She doesn’t need to look like a stereotypical teen witch, but she wants people to know what she’s about- and that she’s dangerous to mess with.
Lex- Honestly, his entire uniform- but mostly the upper half, since it’s more recognizable. It assures him that the power of the Outer Tribunal is behind him and he receives respect in most places.
Maeve- Even though she’s half-tigron, Maeve would lack many of her magical abilities without her coat. As such, it’s a favored treasure of hers. Anything to be more lethal.
Moji- Her hat. Well, she mostly likes her hat because Po-Li takes it from her and tries to chew on it. As much as it seems annoying in the moment, it’s helped her build a relationship with her goofy familiar.
Skye- She doesn’t have too many articles of clothing on, given that she wears a bodysuit. That bodysuit, however, helps her to turn invisible and get the drop on her marks. Plus, it matches her hair color.
Talus- His headpiece is a symbol of the Ska’Drin, one that he proudly wears to prove that they’re still alive and will fight back for their freedom. It’s a bit too big for his head, since his horns haven’t grown in all the way, yet.
Zhin- His heavy, embroidered coat is a symbol of what he’s made himself. He grew from ashes into the leader of the thousand hands. It’s a bit too warm, at times, but it fits well and is somewhat soft on the inside.

what kind of funerals would each champion have if they were to die in battle? assuming it's some great battle or something like some fantasy war?
Writing from the context that only one champion died and everyone else is still alive and attending the funerals. By the way, some are more of burial ceremonies than funerals exactly…? But you get the point. Btw I couldn’t come up with a few of these, so I ended up filling those in with extra HCs.
-Mod Inara
We’re just gonna leave it under a cut since it got super long and also some of you might not want to read it because death mention and discussion.
- Mod Mal’Damba
Makoa: A simple one, in which the champions silently pay their respects as they sail out to Makoa’s favourite islands, and give the Ancient One a proper burial at sea by lowering his body in a special wooden casket into the depths.
Fernando: Fernando would’ve wanted to be celebrated, and so his funeral would be more on remembering his glory and fighting spirit on the battlefield as the champions give him one last toast in his name.
Ruckus: Ruckus was buried along with the ashes of a destroyed Bolt, not far from Splitstone Quarry. They had both wanted this, despite saying they hated each other to the bitter end. At their funeral, the other Paladins made a special toast in the name of their dysfunctional but powerful friendship.
Barik: Barik’s body was placed upon a stone pedestal in a small cave underground, surrounded by his inventions, both complete and incomplete. The Paladins paid their respects, and sealed the cave away by blocking the entrance with a massive boulder.
Ash: As a general serving the Magistrate, Ash was given a grand and honourable funeral by the state, a public cremation for her and the soldiers in her vanguard. All the Paladins attended to pay their respects, all except Terminus, who only watched from a distance in silence.
Torvald: Before his death, Torvald had only wished to be buried near the libraries of Stone Keep alongside his precious scrolls and scripts. The Paladins abided by these wishes, though they were unable to completely fulfil it, as anything Torvald owned relating to runic magic was nowhere to be found.
Inara: After her death, the champions raised Inara’s body as a now lifeless stone statue within her beloved sacred lands as her soul returned to Mother Nature, living on as the guardian spirit of those lands.
Drogoz: Dragons don’t have funeral rites because in the past, it was a matter of survival of the fittest and those who couldn’t survive didn’t deserve to survive. Having friends that actually cared for him more than wild dragons would have, Drogoz’s funeral is simple. His body is buried in the Enchanted Forest under an open gap in the canopy, so that he can fly off freely.
Bomb King: Bomb King had always wanted to “go out with a bang” even after death, which was why the others respected his unusual wishes for his funeral, setting his body up with bombs and fireworks on a small, uninhabited island, so he could have one last grand explosion in his name. He always was quite the drama queen.
Cassie: Her father Arturos flew back to Crosswind Hold for his daughter’s funeral, as does Cassie’s mother she hasn’t seen or been close to in years. While her parents do the most during her funeral, wake and burial, her friends in the Paladins are there the whole time and celebrate her life as it was.
Lian: Her body would be dressed in gold silk and crystals, and she will be cremated upon a golden pyre as per the traditions of House Aico, to symbolise her rise from the ashes in the next life, like that of their golden phoenix.
Kinessa: As a bounty hunter, Kinessa knew death was always near for her. She didn’t mind, and asked for a quick and easy burial should it ever claim her. That was exactly what the Paladins did, giving her a simple funeral and burial near the base.
Sha Lin: Having been a traveller in life, the champions believed his spirit should be free to continue his journey in death. And so, they left his body atop a mountain in a traditional sky burial for his soul to ascend to the skies as they body is left in nature’s hands.
Viktor: Like any soldier’s funeral, Viktor is given a proper military send off, including a flag draped over his coffin, and the three-volley salute for his military honour in death. His coffin is buried in the military graveyard, amongst many others that he knew, or did not.
Tyra: A Viking’s send off, her body set off on a boat dressed in her battle armour, with her weapons and prized possessions all with her to bring to Valhalla as Sha Lin fires the flaming arrow and sets her boat ablaze.
Willo: Mourned both by the Paladins and the Summer Court, her funeral takes place within the latter’s grounds. Her grave is stuffed with her favourite flowers, and was later buried in a flower field without a coffin, so that one day her body may become nourishment for the flora.
Evie: As an immortal, she knows she will never have a funeral. However, if she were to die somehow, the only thing she wants for her funeral would be for it to be held during a gently snowing evening.
Skye: “Make sure I look pretty for my last party okay?” were Skye’s dying words as she passed with a smile on her face. Heeding her last request, the others dressed her up in fancy purple clothes as they held an open-casket funeral service for her.
Androxus: Finally freed from the curse in death, Androxus’s funeral was more of a ceremony of his release rather than a mourning of his passing. After a simple burial near the Paladins base, Seris personally escorted his soul into the afterlife.
Buck: Having strong roots to the earth, upon his death Buck was cremated and his spirit released into the afterlife, where he took the form of an ox spirit to watch over his friends.
Maeve: Her only wish had been to be cremated with her precious enchanted coat and knives that had helped her through her hardest times on the streets. A simple funeral is held for the rest to pay their respects, and later, they scattered her ashes into the nighttime winds.
Zhin: Held by the Thousand Hands, with the Paladins in attendance, Ying as their sole representative during the process. He is cremated and his ashes left in an urn kept by the Thousand Hands on a shrine to their past great leaders, where the followers of the Thousand Hands will pay their respects to on his death anniversary.
Lex: A public funeral is held for him by his fellow lawmen, with salutes in his honour as his coffin is transported to a military graveyard where he is to be buried among others who have been killed in action. A much smaller, private funeral is held at the Paladins base, in which the others quietly paid their respects, as he would’ve liked it.
Mal’Damba: The night before his funeral, a vigil is held by the other Supports in his honour, and his bed removed from his room to signify his passing. His body is cremated and scattered, his spirit released back to Wekono. Pancake is released into the wild with Grover’s help, and Waffles returns as a spirit to join Wekono and her master once more in the next life.
Pip: Pip was buried in a special graveyard sacred to the Vulpin north of Brightmarsh, at the base of a massive waterfall. During the funeral service, the others burned all of his personal belongings before his grave, so that he may take them with him to the afterlife, as per Vulpin beliefs.
Grover: His funeral was a planting of his body into the ground of his favourite forest, where the last of his magic transformed him into a normal, non-sentient tree, so he can live on one last time.
Grohk: At Grohk’s burial, which took place under a lightning storm as per his culture, the Paladins gathered around and danced around a totem raised in his honour, each dropping a flower, provided by Willo, who had been given responsibility over Grohk’s garden, into his grave atop his coffin as they danced close.
Seris: Though Seris cannot actually die, the damage done to her physical form had been too intense, banishing her to the depths of the Abyss, never to return to the mortal realm again. Knowing that they would never see her again until their own time came, the other Paladins held a quiet memorial for her.
Ying: Upon her death, Ying’s form faded, leaving behind only her shattered mirror. The other Paladins placed the broken mirror in a beautiful shrine decorated with many flowers dedicated to her, and many tears were shed during the memorial service.
Jenos: Upon his death, Jenos’s body had dissolved into starlight, and floated up to the heavens, where the stars took his form in a new constellation. The other champions then held a memorial for him under those new stars to pay their respects.
Strix: Strix’s body is dressed in his combat attire and lavender, and the mark of a warrior was painted onto his face. He is cremated within a simple coffin, and after a seven day mourning period, the other champions spread his ashes on the ground within the forests, returning his body to the earth.
Talus: As per Ska’Drin traditions, Talus is given a warrior’s funeral, his body is left beneath a great tree, one final rune of honour to be tattooed on his chest, done by Mal’Damba, as the champions surround him with flowers. (Yes it’s Rue’s death from the Hunger Games don’t kill me.)
Terminus: Terminus himself never cared for a funeral, but upon his final death, accepted Inara’s offer of a traditional Stagallan warrior’s send off. The Paladins took his body was taken high up a mountain near the Paladins base, where Inara embedded his form into the cliffside.
Vivian: It wasn’t a simple funeral, but it wasn’t particularly grand either. After her burial in a coffin engraved with her sentinels, a feast was held in her name, honouring her.

so... any Headcanons about this so called war? like, how viktor and strix meet our dear female frontline?
I’ll just assume you’re talking about Ash, lol. Anyway, I’ve always had a thought or two about this, so bear with my long explanation, if that’s fine. There would also be other champions in this narrative, which is Lian and Tyra.
House Aico have been prominent before, and has ruled the land for decades if not centuries. House Aico is allied with several other houses, which is fighting against other houses, mostly for land, mostly for power, sometimes just for the mere desire for war. House Aico is known for their pride and taking lands from their enemies Just Because, but they rule them well.
Lian is the lone daughter of the current leader/emperor/? of House Aico, and is prepped to be their successor. As she comes to age, she later takes on the role of general before she truly succeeds the throne, and hires and recruits several military men and women under her service – Ash is one of the first few.
Ash has served several years under Lian, and later on rises through the ranks until she was known as one of Lian’s most loyal soldiers. She was later entrusted with handling some men serving under House Aico.
Lian later on forms several platoons and units to fully launch the war she is about to wage. One of the units has Viktor (a standard footman with decades of war experience), Strix (known for his aim, assigned to be a sniper), and Tyra (probably known at the time for her monster hunting, was assigned as supplier).
This is probably how they met – Viktor and Strix were mercenaries/footmen under Lian, and by extension, Ash.
Anyway, the war goes on.
All was well until The Gorlock Incident, which we’re now going to just call The Incident. While fighting in the war, they encountered a gorlock. They fought it for a while, many people died, and Viktor, probably overwhelmed, afraid, or just plain scared of the sight of people dead around him, ran away. Tyra got horridly angry and punched the gorlock to death.
(Note: We have no details how she defeated the gorlock. She kind of just said she killed it with her bare hands. Let’s just imagine.)
Despite The Incident, House Aico and its allied houses won… but with terrible casualties. The Incident still did a number on House Aico’s numbers and morale. Imagine, your friends all died to a huge monster, and this random dude with veteran experience has the balls to run away from it. Someone still punched it to death, and they won, but it would not bring the dead back to life, would it?
For our lovely champions, of course, it also did a number on them:
Viktor ran away and left without even asking if he can. No one knows why he ran away, the stories vary depending on who you ask, but he is now more mercenary than soldier. The story later dissolves until it felt more like an urban legend.
Strix felt disillusioned about serving, and also was horridly disappointed at Viktor for running away. He served for a few more months, garnering a reputation for himself, before leaving.
Tyra, horridly pissed about being left for dead and also gravely wounded after sucker punching a huge monster, also left, and returned to hunting, seeing that things seems to go better when she’s not trusting her life to random people generals shove her with.
Lian is left very annoyed with everything, despite winning. The Incident probably also contributed to Ash leaving House Aico’s service…
And probably also lead to House Aico’s later fall.
