the kiss

you typically wait until the last second to believe the truth--because it would destroy you to believe it, and then find out it was a lie. you are someone who has never wanted to want, but has rarely been able to do anything else. the idea that you might have to break down your walls for the sake of someone else, someone who could easily decide they don't like what is on the other side, is harrowing. why let people get close enough to be rejected? you are enough for yourself. and you will tell yourself that every time you catch yourself staring at their mouth, smirking at their joke, finding a reason to flick their shoulder. until the kiss. that's when the flood of want, want, want bowls over you and you realize that you are torn between two ways of living. Oh, you think. because despite how complicated you have made it, the moment you kiss, somehow, things seem incredibly simple. they won't be once you start thinking again, but for now, for this moment, you live in the quiet peace of revelation. Oh

she can show her past live to others but she barely does because it’ll be really hurtful towards her body and mind. and she usually needs a few days to recover.

usually her death anniversary is very painful thus on those days she is in a very bad state of mind. begging to finally be able to die in peace, to shut her eyes and be left to finallly rest after more than 2000+ years of walking earth constantly after dying and waking up again and again and again.

she has at least committed suicide once or twice to find rest when the constant pain was not bearable, ahyo was going insane with the inner not promised rest, just wanting to join her husband and children in peace and quiet.

every year on the same day, her chest hurts. she get’s reborn with the huge scar of the sword that cut through her chest during her assasination. if she feels it, she knows it’s her death anniversary.

however, ahyo never knows if her body was found and if she got a burial ceremony or if she was left on the mountain to be perished. she remembers a face vaguely before closing her eyes.

she has probably managed to live through every sort of class there could be. from being a queen to being a beggar, to everything in between. whether it was the old period or modern day seoul she can understand the people and what they struggle with.

ahyo can see people’s past lives. all she has to do is look into their eyes and see’s who they were and what they did beore.
