How they spend valentines with you

Content; 100% fluff, all characters are written romantically, OOC, some characters are written short based on me not knowing how to type/write for them Warnings; GN reader Characters; EVERYONE (Heartsteel, KDA, True Damage)

Indoor dates; Aphelios, Akali, Senna, Yasuo

They choose to spend their valentines day with you indoors; either because they simply prefer it that way, or just want to spend it alone with you ⎯ away from the eyes of onlookers who are desperate for gossip.

Aphelios and Yasuo are introverts at heart, so being away from people is like a blessing to them both. How they'd choose to spend the day with you depends on the current mood they're feeling, for example: wanting to do something that doesn't require much work like watching a movie is one of the go-to's he'd do for valentines. Or on the more rarer occasions where he's wanting to feel genuine and sincere, he'd take some time off idol work to compose a personal song for you ⎯ one that isn't technically sung by him (most likely asked one of their members to sing in his steed) but can be used for karaoke, or background music during dinner.

Akali and Senna are the same as the other two ⎯ both being introverted but also not really? In the pre-tense of it she simply has a hard time getting along with people but would put up some sort of effort when it comes to you. However on this day, she'd much prefer to spend it alone with you. The list on what you would do with her varies on the basics of what most couples do on this day: movies, snacks, dinner, etc. I feel like in a way, Akali would want to spend valentines like how regular couples would ⎯ setting aside her role as an idol.

Outdoor dates; Kayn, Sett, K'Sante, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, Ekko

Kayn and K'sante are the types who'd want to make this day as memorable as he can for you; spending however much money he can offer to spoil you for the whole day. Though I can only imagine for Kayn he'd chooses to spend his money on bringing you to a concert that both you and him have been waiting to attend, whereas for K'Sante he's the type that'll carry all the bags you've bought and take you to a fancy restaurant to dine in.

^ You can also say this would be something Evelynn would also do for you, in terms of taking you out and spoiling you, then bringing you somewhere fancy. She has the power to do so, so why not use it to her advantage, no? At the end of it all you'd both be sitting in a high view building, watching as the city lights coat the streets before calling it a night with sweet kisses and longing words to each other.

^^ Kai'sa somewhat doing the same as what Kayn did, however, instead of just attending 'a' concert ⎯ she'd be giving you tickets to hers and her group's concert instead (i'm sorry idrk how to write for her)

Sett on the other hand is taking you on a walk. Yes, a walk. Varying between places like parks or a walk down the streets ⎯ to taking you on a hiking trip to the mountains. Of course he isn't gonna force you to keep climbing when you're getting tired, but instead of taking a break by sitting down somewhere, he'd continue the walk with you on his back or shoulders. To him it's a win-win situation: You get to rest for a bit, while he continues to walk and show you the amazing view of the place AND technically speaking, this would count as a workout for him, right? I will say at the end of it all, he'd have at least one or two things prepared when the walk is over (your gift).

Ekko is a man who's lived in the street since he was a kid; dealing with hardships and whatnot through out his life already, he'd hope to at least spend one of these days, this day in particular, where he can spend money on you. That's his wish, and with the amount he earns as a Idol ⎯ well, i guess you can say a part of his wish did come true.

A mix between both; Ezreal, Yone, Ahri, Qiyana

In the case of becoming hit stars, and especially being the fans' faves; Ezreal and Yone's schedule are so packed, they have to plan their valentines day to be both indoors and outdoors. For Yone it'd be indoors > outdoors, starting his valetines indoors first because there were still some things he needed to check over before going outdoors with you to spend the rest of your valentines day with him. Ezreal's valentines, however, started off with an outdoor date in mind but then switched to indoors the moment fans caught sight of him and he had to cancel it all ⎯ making him somewhat depressed for the most part because he tried so hard to make this day perfect for you both, but seeing as it was still a day you can spend together, outdoors or not, he's happy as long as he's with you.

^ The same can be said for Ahri, she has plenty of fans who'd want to talk and take pictures of her when she's outside so the outdoor date she had in mind suddenly turned indoor the moment fans caught wind of her activities.

^ As for Qiyana, it'd be similar to Yone but not exactly ⎯ she'd want to spend the day resting a bit longer in bed with you during the start of the day and then spend the rest outdoors; via going to a club or a bar.

Cherishing the time spent together, whether a brief moment…

Ahri is well aware of your difference in life spans. She’s watched many she’s known and loved grow old while she remains trapped within an unaging body. However, that doesn’t deter her from loving you any less. If anything, it pushes her to show how deep her love runs for you, even if it ends in heartbreak like it always does.

It’s not uncommon to have her cuddled against your chest, her tails curled limply while her legs intertwine with your own. She falls asleep against the lull of your slowed heartbeat, counting each and every one before committing the tune to memory. You feel her arms tighten around your waist every so often, going lax when she still feels you with her.

Your eyes crack open slightly to see her snoozing peacefully against you. “You’re touchy today, hm?”

Her ears twitch at the familiar symphony of your voice as she, too, slowly rouses from her rest. “Stop it,” she slaps your chest lightly with a sleep-roused giggle. The two of you remain like that for a bit, talking about your days while occasionally sharing messy, laugh-filled kisses.

At the end of it all, Ahri rests her forehead against yours with closed eyes, praying and hoping that you’re the one who’ll stay by her side forever. Even if she knows it isn’t true.

Or an eternity.

Despite the stillness of the night, Yone isn’t naive enough to believe the two of you are alone. With one of his twin swords gripped in each hand, he separates his mind from his body, scouring the area for any trace of the lingering Azakana. The brush beside him rustles and out of instinct, he slashes his sword, revealing nothing but a cowering rabbit.

He sucks his teeth, annoyed and on edge as the familiar tug of his body pulls him from his ethereal state. You press your hands to his chest when you notice his once-still body move. There is no heartbeat, only the illusion of a warmth you once sought during your time alive. Even without his heart, Yone continues to breathe; deep steady breaths that cause his chest to rise and fall.

A reminder, of sorts, of your unending mission to bring peace to those who continue to thrive in the light of life.

Just as he leans down, lips brushing ever so slightly against your own, an ear-piercing scream echoes through the dark forest. The two of you share a look, and Yone sighs, hands tightening on the hilts of his swords once more before disappearing into but a wisp of wind. You follow closely behind him, hands gripping your own weapon as you weave stealthily through the crooked branches.

In the middle of the clearing, the Azakana remains perched atop a moss-covered rock. The moonlight caresses its oddly human face, trailing from its neck to a more traditional, monstrous body.

Its eye glow as it turns to you and Yone, thin lips parting to reveal dangerous fangs. It strikes fast, but the two of you are quicker, diving to opposite sides of the creature before unleashing powerful attacks of unrestrained magic.

Before long, the once fearsome Azakana is nothing but dust in the wind and a tale on your tongue. Yone is the one to retrieve its mask, clipping it to his side. He then turns to you, offering a bandaged hand like he’s done many times before and will do again till the last creature on Runeterra breathes its last breath.

It’s being able to find peace within each other.

Peace is not a word Aphelios would often use to describe himself or his lifestyle. He’s always on the move, whether it be to or from battle. So when he finally has a moment to himself, he isn’t quite sure what to do. He contemplates reaching for the poison he’s taken oh-so-many times, though he knows Alune would be disappointed knowing he’s destroying his own body outside of combat.

A small huff escapes his lips as he collapses against his temporary bedding. No use in making yourself comfortable if you’re just going to move again, right? His head lulls to the side for a moment, dark strands falling to the side to reveal the purple crescent moon across his eye. He sits up, pacing around the room for a brief moment before deciding to step outside.

It was safe to say he wasn’t expecting to see your figure aimlessly wandering throughout the current Lunari hideout. Your ceremonial robes–once pristine and regal–are now nothing but rags, your hair is matted and unkempt, and you’re bruised and battered from your journey.

And yet… you look nothing less than ethereal to Aphelios. He wonders if you were blessed by the beauty of the moon itself. It calms him; both knowing you’re alive, and simply being in your presence. 

As he makes his way towards you, he feels his heart pound erratically in his chest–a feeling normally numbed by the poison. You turn to him with a worn smile and tired eyes, and your legs shake with each step you take towards him. He catches you when you stumble, pulling you to his chest with one hand while the other finds purchase on your waist.

“Hey, Phel…” your voice is but a small croak, and he’s sure he would have missed it had his ears were that of a normal man’s. In response, he hums, picking you up before tucking your head against his chest. He makes his way back to his home, taking extra care not to drop you around the more narrow areas. Your incoherent mumbles reach his ears, but he’s only able to pick up on a few words.

He only dares to look down at your face when your tangent comes to a halt. Aphelios smiles, offering a chaste kiss on your forehead as he enters your now-shared home.

Despite not being a man who knows peace, Aphelios can’t help but wish to remain by your side forever.

It’s grounding each other.

One moment. That was all it took for Kayn to lose control of Rhaast. In his brief moment of weakness, he thought of you. How disappointed you’d be if you saw him like this. How terrified you’d be witnessing the atrocities he’s commit despite being well-versed in the field of assassination yourself.

When he awakens from Rhaast’s carnage, he’s confused. Lost as to what happened; lost as to how he’s still alive. He tries, really he does, to think about anything that happened during Rhaast’s takeover, but he comes up with nothing but a piercing headache that has him reeling back with furrowed brows.

“Fuck!” His balled fist collides harshly against the ground, leaving a small crater in his place when he stands. He brings his clawed hand to his face, squeezing at his temples until he feels blood drip down the side of his face.

A gentle hand pries his hand away from his face, caressing the bloodied skin with the pad of its thumb. Kayn flinches beneath the touch, unable to meet your gaze which he knows is disappointed. 

“You’re alright…” The sudden feeling of your body crushing his causes the remaining air in his lungs to leave with a choked grunt. He reciprocates your affection hesitantly, hands still trembling from the intensity of Rhaast’s takeover. He takes it all in. Your words of comfort, your touches, and, most importantly of all, your presence. The unyielding rock that held him still in his moments of weakness.
