After years the apartment next to him filled with life. More specific, the apartment next to him was now filled with your presence. He didn't mind living next to you but the exact opposite.

He got addicted to you. Addicted to your smile when you greet him. Addicted to the way you laugh when you talk on the phone with your best friend as you walk up the stairs, winking at him to show him that you acknowledge his presence. He was so lucky that the walls were thin and not soundproof. He got to know the music that you like while you're cleaning your apartment. He got to know the shampoo that your using because he helped you so many times lifting the heavy bags from your grocery shopping. Of course he had to buy it so he can see how you smell. It made him feel closer to you.

You weren't any better. Since you saw Erwin you can't get him out of your mind. You got to know when he returns home. You can't help it. You can hear the sound of his keys when he's coming back from work. It never fails to make your heart beating faster than when you're exercising. The thought that you are in the same place the same time makes you lose your mind.

You know that when he has a day off he sits outside in the balcony reading books while smoking. You catch yourself sitting in the corner of your balcony door behind your curtains, watching the man. Admiring his beauty. He looks so handsome focusing on the book. Very hot when he exhales the smoke. You tried to see the title of the book he was reading but his long thick fingers were wrapped all over the cover. If only those hands were around your neck. You tried to feel ashamed for the things you did but shame left your body a long time ago when you saw him.

Erwin learnt by heart your routine. When you wake up, return from work and when you go out with your friends. That's why he was waiting in his car cursing himself that he chose those kind of foolish tactics just to see you more. And there you are. Having the backpack on your shoulder full of your works clothes. You must be exhausted. Especially if you're walking all the way up from the bus station. He would take care of you he thought. He'd pick you up from work so you don't have to suffer with the public transportation. He'd massage your sore body after a long day standing and running. He wonders what sounds you'd make while he was rubbing you.

Then there he is. Helping you with your backpack while heading to your apartment. Giving you the smile that has your heart melting. He came the right time you thought. Very good timing wasn't it? He told you whenever you needed help you can just knock at his door.

You couldn't do anything else but take advantage of it. Knocking his door when you needed help with your faucet. Knocking at his door when another tube broke. Knocking at his door when you needed company. Erwin would drop everything he did just to help you. He'd do anything for you.

Your actions grew bolder. From coffee dates to movies together that made you end up having your thighs next to each other. He understood where this was going but he still couldn't believe his crush liked him or maybe he wanted to see how far you could take it.

You at the other side got tired of making the first move all the time. It didn't sound like you. You always waited for the other one to do something but you wouldn't let Erwin slip out of your hands. Not without trying.

"I think this movie has a good ending" Erwin said to you while you were blowing your nose from crying

"It better have" you pouted because you didn't expect to cry because of a dead dog

Erwin sat back on the couch slightly leaning to you. He was so close to your face that you were feeling his hot breath. Your heart was pounding so loud that it reached your ears. You swore that he could hear it. With his thumb he wiped the tears from your eyes.

"This one is a comedy" he said leaning back to the armrest. You didn't reply. You were too busy trying to breath but you couldn't take away your gaze.

"Are you okay?" He told you concerned and you climb on his lap

"What do you think?" You said some inches away from his face and you closed the distance with a kiss without thinking about it. Its something for your future self to think about.

"Sorry" you said when realisation hit you. You didn't believe you did this. What if his feelings weren't the same after all.

"Don't apologise. I was waiting this since I met you" he brushed your cheek with his thumb

"Then why you didn't do anything about it?" You question leaning your head on his palm

"What can I say? I like my woman to be bold" Erwin kissed your cheek

"I guess we are a great match then" you smile laying on his chest with closed eyes.

You were afraid this was another one of your daydreams so you cherished the moment as much as you could.
