So what’s your opinion of this season’s ships?

the short version: rajbow is still peak, ripaxel is funny, and priyaleb is meh. more rambling details under cut:

rajbow: i feel like i say this a lot but i loveddddddd the cheating plot (i never ever thought i'd say these words, even though they have a different meaning than world tour lol). bowie's one of my fav reboot characters, and the way we got to see his character development through his internal battle with morality was so interesting. raj really makes him want to be a better person. that's what a relationship should be like! and to see a queer couple show that lesson is so huge for me as a queer person. rajbow will always have a special place in my heart. also they are so cute like LOOK AT THEM AHHHH!!!!!

ripaxel: i know people were mad about this one, some for valid reasons. ripper was so focused on getting axel's attention and somehow breezed through half of this competition while doing some of the most ridiculous things. and once ripper finally scored, a lot of axel's remaining scenes were with ripper just making out, so we didn't get a ton of an individual arc for her either. however. i am unable to take this ship 100% seriously. (i've tried! i just can't! personally!) and because i can't take it 100% seriously, that's what makes it so hilarious to me. they're both weirdos. and that somehow works, even with their negative tension from first season. it's like that one teenage couple from high school. there's a 99% chance they won't last, but they're gonna kiss as if they're gonna last lifetimes together. idk. they were funny. to me. so i enjoyed it. (poor ripper tho... i wonder how they'll be in the finale if they get a scene together.)

priyaleb: this one is... ok. i don't outright hate it. personally, though, i find it just a littleeeee bit boring and not needed. i won't lie: there are some tiny points where i'm like, "oh they are so cute actually!" because we get to see priya with this teenage crush, something she probably never got to have due to her upbringing. and her and caleb have these moments of banter that i enjoy. like these specific scenes from eps 6 + 8 had me all smiley:

but overall, i could've lived without this plot. not because priya lasted a long time last season already (i like priya! i'll be sad when she goes!), but because i feel like there's wayyyy more to priya than some miscommunication within a romance plot. like, why are we acting like priya's upbringing was anything healthy? where is the attention on that??? and most of caleb's character is tied to priya at this point. i feel as if i made a caleb compilation of his scenes from this season, most would have him going "ah, gotta make sure i'm in this alliance with priya," or "ah, i have a crush on priya now." this is the farthest a returning first boot has made it—which is huge!—but we're getting a miscommunication plot with him. sigh 💔 maybe we'll get more individual caleb if priya goes home before him, but it still sucks we didn't get to see him as an individual as much.

“i knew you wouldn't go to sleep willingly, so i brought you some chamomile tea and a blanket. twenty minutes of shut-eye, okay?”

You were snapped out of your thoughts. You had been staring into the campfire that was made, watching the flames and getting lost in thoughts of what you’re all doing. Why you’re here with this group and what you hope to achieve. Just getting lost in thoughts that won’t leave you alone for the night.

You smiled up at the firbolg as what he said stuck in your mind after a few moments. You took the cup from him as he draped the blanket around your shoulders. You took in a deep sigh as you took a sip of the tea.

“Perceptive as always, huh Cad?” You commented with a tired smile on your face. You were exhausted but your thoughts weren’t allowing you to rest. 

“Yeah. You did good today.” He gave his usual easy-going smile to you. You couldn’t help the happy feeling you got from being told that. It definitely helped ease some of the anxiety you had of if you were necessary to the group. Knowing that Cad thinks you did good makes you feel happy.

“Thank you, Caduceus,” you told him and he gave a smile as he sat next to you by the fire.

“You’re welcome. You looked like you were thinking a lot of thoughts. Do you need help sorting them?” He asked and you smiled at that.

“Nah, mostly just wondering if I’m doing okay with everyone. Caleb has all those spells in his book, you and Jester are amazing with healing, Veth is great at being sneaky. Yasha and Beau kickass. Fjord does a bit of everything really. Just trying to see where I fit in.” You gave a shrug as you explained your thought to Cad. He just gives a nod before smiling at you.

“You keep us motivated. Casting spells is easier thanks to you.” You felt more warmth inside at Caduceus’s words. “You’ve a very good friend.”

“Thank you, Cad. You’re a good friend too... I think I’m going to try and sleep now. The tea really helped.” Cad gave you a smile as you excused yourself.

You definitely had sweet dreams thanks to your firbolg friend.

I feel like a sign that the Humans of the team trust someone is how willing they are to use them as a pillow/cuddle buddy. Like Beau and Caleb obviously trust eachother, and Caleb Veth, and Beau trusts Jester and Yasha, but think about it. Just one Day Beau feels a bit of pressure on her arm and she assumes Beau, she looks down and it’s Caleb, or Fjord wakes up ans he’s trapped between two sleepy humans. Caduceus just smiles and hugs both the humans when he wakes up to them trying to keep him warm. It’s cute. If the Humans like you, they’ll fall asleep on you

Ahhhh, I love it so much. This is absolutely accurate, and I refuse to believe anything else.

Yasha

As she finished cleaning her bloody blade, something suddenly pressed against her bicep and stayed there. After taking a moment to sheath her sword, she turned to check on the source of the pressure. While she expected to see Beau leaning against her, a different human was using her as a personal pillow. The blood from his head wound had been cleaned off and the tears in his coat mended, but the exhaustion was still plain to see.

"Oh, you found him." Beau's tired voice distracted her from further inspecting the wizard for any signs of unattended injuries. "Want me to move him?"

"No, he is find. Did Caduceus tend to him?"

"Yeah, he's good. I think he just got tired of the poking and the questions."

"That is fair. He needs the rest."

"You are welcome to join him."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course."

"Well," Beau flopped down on her other side, then leaned against her arm. "I can't pass that up."

Fjord

The usual slow wake up surrounded by the warmth of another that he had come to enjoy came to an abrupt halt. He slowly opened his eyes to find the reason he felt a second body pressed against his side. His body relaxed at the familiar dark hair of Beau, who was already looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

"When I fell asleep in this bed last night, I distinctly remember only one other person being here with me. How did you end up here?"

"Caleb woke up in the middle of the night."

"Sure."

"We did some research."

"As you do."

"We might have stayed up later than we meant to."

"Did you forget which room you were in?"

"No." The long pause following her denial had Fjord rolling his eyes at her. "It was easier to follow Caleb in here."

"Right. Are you going to keep snoring or can I go back to sleep?"

"Fuck you. I don't snore."

An annoyed grumble from his other side was followed by Caleb cracking his eyes open to glare at them. "Ja, you do. Both of you go back to sleep."

Caduceus

While he expected to wake up from his nap to a slight chill that accompanied him to sleep, he felt surprisingly warm. The warmth immediately made sense when he opened his eyes to find Beau and Caleb curled against his sides. When Beau's snoring momentarily stopped and she shuffled against his side, he wrapped his arms around both of them to pull them securely in. After a moment of fidgeting, Beau threw and arm across him that landed on Caleb, then went still and snored once again.

"This is nice."

"It would be nicer if she would stop hitting me in her sleep." Caleb's annoyed grumbled was followed by him grabbing her hand and intertwining their fingers to keep it pinned. "Yasha and Jester swear they've never been hit by her when she's sleeping. They're either lying or she saves it for me."

"She just wants to make sure you're still there."

"There are ways she could do that without hitting me."

"Well, I think you have it handled now. You can go back to your nap."

Veth

A sudden weight on her leg nearly caused her to jump in surprise, but she managed to stay perfectly still. Her eyes tore away from Caleb's intense focus on the items scattered around him to find Beau's head pillowed on her leg. Despite just settling down, she could tell that Beau was already fast asleep. Not even a poke to her head was enough to wake her from sleep.

"Do you want me to move her?" Yasha's calm voice dragged her gaze away from the woman passed out on. "I can."

"It's fine. I can put her hair in pigtails."

"She's going to hate that."

"She should have thought of that before she decided to take a nap on me. It's the price."

A low chuckle slipped from Yasha's lips. "I suppose that is fair. If you wanted to join her for a nap, I'll keep an eye on Caleb."

"Thanks, Yasha."

"You're welcome."

Jester

"Hello, Caleb!"

"Hello, Jester. Do you mind?"

"Of course not!" She shuffled over to give him more space on the mossy log to take a seat next to her. "You know you don't have to ask. You're always welcome to join me."

"What are you working on?"

"I'm drawing pictures for the Traveler."

"Anything interesting?"

"I only draw him interesting pictures."

"Apologizes. I didn't mean to-"

"You don't have to apologize. I was just joking."

"Okay."

Silence fell between them as she went back to her drawing and Caleb focused on whatever book he was working his way through. She was nearly done when she felt a weight against her arm that almost caused her pencil to skid across the paper. When she turned to say something to Caleb, a fond sigh fell from her lips instead at the fast asleep wizard. Before his book could end up on the damp grass, she plucked it from his hands to put it safely in the haversack.

"Sweet dreams, Caleb."

ahhhh yeah my...second? second ever ship in the whole fandom, here we go :3

when I started shipping it if I did: “the only thing magical in this room is you, my friend”

my thoughts: tragically misunderstood dynamic. absolutely wasted potential. there’s so much lovely conflict here and it’s never utilized. also i’m legally obligated to say the thing that i always say about widomauk, which is that the perfect thing about it is that they’re both so fucked up in opposite directions that it circles right back around to perfect.

What makes me happy about them: the forehead kiss + essek callback to the forehead kiss, “shine bright circus man”, “oh that’s cute”, “you were right caleb, you’re just a shitty communicator”, and my all time favorite, “i am satisfied, mollymauk tealeaf.”

What makes me sad about them: *coughs at 26*

things done in fanfic that annoys me: caleb being ~secretly turned on~ by molly being a dick to him. like i get that this is A Thing but i would much rather read about caleb chewing molly out for being a dick to him/confronting him/forcing molly to own up to it

BnHA Chapter 245: The Second One

Previously on BnHA: We kicked off day one of New Internships with a fun-filled morning of shenanigans. Highlights included: (1) an old bearded man gallivanting around town telling everyone the world is going to end (and making a surprising amount of sense); (2) Bakugou and Deku attempting to rough up a group of impassioned hobos, only to have their thunder stolen from right underneath their noses; and (3) Hawks, the thunder-stealer himself, who proceeded to be all “what’s up fellas, hey Endeavor did you miss me?” Endeavor, who totally did miss him, pretended like he had not, and meanwhile Hawks introduced himself to Endeavor’s new trainees: Finger-Smashing Kid, Kid Who Used To Work For The Guy You Just Murdered, and Shouto (Just Shouto). Then he pulled out a copy of Re-Destro’s book and was all, “hey Endeavor have you heard of this book which was really important to the plot in the previous arc? I think you should read it, for reasons!!” and Endeavor just kind of stared at him, which wasn’t exactly inspiring. Anyways let’s see if these two idiots can manage to pull this off.

Today on BnHA: Hawks shoves the Liberation Army’s book into Endeavor’s hands while staring at him with the intensity of a thousand suns, and then, to avoid suspicion, proceeds to hand out another 500,000 copies of the book without even being asked. He then flies back to the PLF headquarters and is all “good news gentlemen, I gave out copies of the Army’s book to everyone in Japan!” and they’re all “that’s great, Hawks!” because somehow it turns out that this was actually a good plan. Back at the Endeavor Agency HQ, the kids meet Endeavor’s 30+ other sidekicks, who are all “now let’s all stand around and wait for Endeavor to tell us what to do.” Over in his office, Endeavor shrewdly deduces that Hawks was trying to tell him something, and pieces together the hidden code Hawks left in his book, which basically reads “IN FOUR MONTHS WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE.” Back at the PLF, the League cheerfully discusses their plot to blow up the entire world come Springtime. Which apparently everyone is on board with. So, uh, does anyone else feel like they accidentally fell asleep during a really important part of the movie, because uh. What.

(All comments are my unspoiled reactions from my initial readthrough of the chapter. I did a quick edit for grammar and clarity afterward, and added a few ETAs in the process, but aside from that there are no changes.)

okay so two things: (1) as I mentioned in a previous post, Caleb Cook reported that this chapter took him more than 4 times longer than usual to translate. so like, what does that mean?? guess we’re about to find out!

and (2) HAWKS’S REAL NAME. I started typing up this recap early just so I could liveblog my reaction, since it seems that the databook has leaked, and I figure I’m going to stumble across this sooner rather than later. so I’m just going to look it up now here goes!!

ooh damn, I love it!? “hawk” + “vision” lolol HORIKOSHI BACK AT IT AGAIN. but “watchman” is a really nice bonus what with how it relates both to the whole spying biz, and in a more general sense toward what he is trying to do as a hero trying to protect society. plus the name “Keigo” just has a really nice sound to it in general. kind of a boyish, youthful sound. not too hard or soft. idk. I like it. that was my favorite character in Bleach too

also apparently both of the kanji used for “Keigo” mean “enlightenment” oooh. my god I could analyze this all day. this being Thursday night, I’ll have some time to ruminate before I read the chapter tomorrow, so if I have any epiphanies I will add them in later!

(ETA: no additional thoughts on this right now, but there is now a ton of other content out from Ultra Analysis, so let’s take a quick look at some of that!

Haagen Dazs’s gender:  I now feel vindicated in continuing to refer to him as a “he” even after the face reveal! let this be a lesson to everyone never to judge a shounen character solely by how pretty they are. not that it wouldn’t have been nice to have another female villain! anyways the important thing is that I still don’t have his name memorized and never will!

Thirteen’s gender?!: now this, I don’t really like. Thirteen was already in the previous databook IIRC and their gender was ambiguous. which to be frank was awesome. having a canon nonbinary character was sick. why you gotta do this now Horikoshi smdh.

Reason for Shouji’s mask: nooooo poor Shouji. people in quirk society are jerks! lol I get the arms being scary, but his face?? now I really want to see what he looks like though. it would be cool if he became more accepting of himself as a result of hanging with his chill classmates and decided to ditch the mask. anyways my boy needs a hug.

and there’s a lot of other stuff, including a whole series of cute segments showing the characters’ relationships with each other, but I think I’ll save those for another post because otherwise this would get way too off-track. but man, so far I’m really loving this.)

Felt like doing some replies the ~ old fashioned ~ way. I should be packing, but I don’t wanna. One good thing about this semester is that I don’t have classes on Monday morning, which means I don’t have to go to Prague on Sunday. But I’ll be once again going home late on Friday -_- Oh well. Maybe I could skip the lecture every once in a while to go home on Thursday afternoon.

I’m scared. Not really of what I’ll have to learn because I know that even if it’s difficult, I’ll probably get it in my brain in the end. Somehow. I’m more scared that once again, I’ll be left alone. I haven’t really found a stable friend group. I mean, I talk to some people sometimes, but I wouldn’t call it a friendship. One friend that I thought I could rely on doesn’t even bother saying hello to me anymore. I don’t know what I did to him, he just stopped talking to me. But maybe it’s for the best. Even when we still talked, I couldn’t believe how judgemental he was, and I often wondered if he talks about me like that too when I can’t hear it. He probably did. Oh well, I’ll see what I can do. I hope I’ll run into someone who is kinda like my best friend from high school.

As for sims stuff, I know I still owe some things to some people and I feel bad about it. You’ll get it eventually. I’m actually looking forward to doing it too. Makeovers are fun. I’d also like to release some more sims, I have one more sim dump and then some old legacy characters I want to share, plus some BC contestants that didn’t make it. They like to get eliminated in the first rounds.

Also, thanks for the comments on my mental health update post. I’ll see how this turns out and if it doesn’t get any better (I’m kinda hoping that better weather brings better mood, it worked before), I’ll start looking for a therapist or something. No offense to my parents but talking to them about this didn’t help in a slightest. They just don’t get it. And I swear I’m not reverting back to the “I’m an edgy misunderstood teenager” phase. Even though “edgy misunderstood teenager” is an aesthetic I still live for. Whatever that means.

And thanks for the tips on the laptop post. I’ll keep them in mind and I’ll probably ask again when the time comes and I actually buy a new one.

I used to have my sims or some other characters set as a background, but now that I take my laptop to school I feel a bit uncomfortable with that, so since October I’ve had this kinda boring background and I’ve been meaning to change it into something nicer, I just didn’t know what to put there. And now...they’re in boxes...under my bed and in the basement...some of them I gave away or to my younger sister, who then also gave some away because she’s fifteen now. I still have my plushies and teddy bears in my bed though, it would be too empty without them :D

Oh this song was the first song of this bad which I heard! It was also 5-6 years ago.though I do not listen to them often these days.

I think the first song I heard was What Have You Done, which I liked and still like very much, but then I heard this one and went kinda crazy because it just sounded so epic and exactly what my poor slightly depressed fifteen years old soul needed. In one day, I completely switched from pop to metal and it took me a few years to appreciate my old favourite music again. (I know that I say all the time that I’m a Taylor Swift stan, but actually I only really started LOVING her music again last year.)

I’ve always thought that it’s kinda funny that in my Music class, for the first semester I prepared a project about Taylor Swift. In the second semester, that changed, the old pop loving Ronnie was dead, and my new project was about Within Temptation :D But I remember that I was actually upset that day, I chose to show my classmates the video of What About Us and they didn’t appreciate it. And then after me, my other classmate had a project about some singer who had this weird song about getting high. They wanted to replay it. I was so bitter, in my head I was like “this song that I showed you has an interesting meaningful message and you’d rather listen to a song about drugs, how dare you?! You’re absolutely terrible!”

Yeah. I mean, I get it today, but I was so, so bitter.

Ahhhh Sage! Our sweet girl! Okay, so she’s in lots of AUs but I’ll make it the modern AU for now but know that Sage is eternal

So one day, Molly is having a very nice, calm day, he’s about four moths along with their third kid and coming home from a satisfying day running the rehearsals for their upcoming show which is his first solo directing gig for the Fletchling and Moondrop Theatre and he’s very excited and so happy it’s going well. And then of course he walks through the door and life decides to become complicated again.

So when he walks in Caleb and little Trinket suddenly appear with twin expressions of ‘we are hiding something from you’ that Molly sees through in an instant and demands they tell him. Turns out Caleb found a cat in an alley near his store, a very pregnant stray cat in need of a home. And of course that home has to be their apartment, apparently, the cat is currently under their bed. 

Molly is not happy, of course, this is the kind of thing that absolutely needs a text to your husband at the very least asking if its okay. But Caleb is pleading and he’s using those damn puppy dog eyes, saying how she has nowhere else to go and she needs help! She needs a safe place to have her babies! So he just huffs and grunts and waddles in to see this cat. 

She’s a young, very pretty tortoiseshell cat with big green eyes and…yeah, okay, she is pretty cute. And she ends up staying around, quickly attaching herself to Molly of all people. And Molly grows very fond of her too, she’s so soft and she purrs so nice and suddenly he’s buying her special collars and dressing her up. She sits with him and licks his head to make him look neat, making his hair stick up, looking after him almost like he’s her kitten.

When she does have her kittens, under Molly and Caleb’s bed, and they’re so cute and they all love them they just decide that…okay, they have six cats now?? Seven, including Frumpkin. 

Frumpkin is very grudging of Sage at first but soon he grows very close to her and in a few months, they basically act like they’re married

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: noah x rose.

𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒: underage drinking.

𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒: noah and rose find each other at a party again.

noah was sitting outside, feeling a little overwhelmed at the amount of people at the party already. truth be told, he couldn't remember ever being to a party this full before. shows were different. he was in his element then, but this? this felt different, for sure. he went outside and found a swing set, sitting down and wrapping his hands around the cold chains. tilting his head backwards, he looked at the sky and the stars were blinking furiously against the dark-blue blanket. when he heard someone in front of him, he grinned as he could recognize that anywhere. " are you stalking me, miss. hollingsworth?  " he asked and grinned as he leaned forward so that his eyes landed on the girl.

Rosemary was wandering outside the party when she decided to go take a quick break. She got overwhelmed easily these days. She saw a figure in the distance and realized it was Noah, “perhaps” she said with a smirk as she moved to sit next to him on the swings. “Why do we always meet like this?” she teased as she started to sway back and forth. 

when she moved to sit down next to him, noah's grin widened when she said " maybe " to his question. " ahhhh, maybe, maybe,  " he said and chuckled softly, looking at the dark-haired female who asked why they always met like this. "  are you complaining?  " he asked and grinned, looking at her as she started to sway back and forth. and he did the same thing. "  you look beautiful, by the way,  " he said and bit his bottom lip, looking at rosemary. " as always.  "

“Complaining about you? A girl would never” said Rosemary, her smile shining brightly at him. It was dark, but she took in all his features on his face. She thought about what he looked like when he was singing, she wondered if the song had progressed any further. “Thank you, my sister did my makeup with the gems. She’s really into wild makeup” said the girl, she definitely looked extra pretty today thanks to her sister. “What are your wild plans for the night?” She asked, curious to what he was up to.

"  oh, you're right,  " noah said and smirked, "  they wouldn't.  " the grin on his lips widened as he looked at the dark-haired female. thank you, my sister did my make-up with the gems. she's really into wild make-up, "  well, it looks gorgeous. but then again, you look gorgeous in just about anything, and out of everything,  " he said and winked at her teasingly, before sinking his teeth into his bottom lip. what are your wild plans for the night? "  my wild plans? ahhh, i don't know, there's not really much. probably just drink, hang out with people,  " he said and shrugged casually. "  maybe dance with a cute girl,  " he said as he stopped moving. leaning forward, the small space between the two of them lessened slightly. "  what about you?  " 

Rosemary blushed when he said that she looked good in and out of pretty much anything and everything. It felt nice that he actually validated her appearance. Caleb was always saying he liked her for more than that, that her looks didn’t matter. But rose worked hard on herself, sometimes it felt like she wasn’t pretty enough when people didn’t say anything. “Oh dance with a cute girl? I wonder who that could be” she replied with a smile, “I am planning on drinking a little or maybe a lot, and then dancing with this really sexy guy I met at the last party, I think we really hit it off” Rosemary added.

" mhm, well... i do have someone in mind,  " he said and shrugged his shoulders as he looked at the girl sitting next to him. "  but, i guess we'll have to wait and see, huh? she's a beautiful girl, so she might have others wanting to dance with her too,  " he said, keeping his gaze locked with hers. " oh yeah? well, i'm sure he thinks so too. how could he not? i mean, anyone would hit it off with someone like you,  " he said and chuckled softly, keeping his gaze locked with hers. in the background, the music from the house sent shivers down his spine. "  do you realise how much i wanna kiss you right now?  " he said and tilted his head a little to the side. "  but i'm not gonna. i mean, no feelings and whatnot, right?  " he whispered, glancing towards her lips for a split second before getting up from his swing. "  do you want me to push you?  " he asked as he walked behind her, putting his hands on either side of her waist. 

“I doubt anyone else could get her attention, you’re kind of the perfect guy” said the girl, feeling flirty. She wished they had met at a different time when they were both okay and doing better. “I mean ... no one is stopping you from kissing me” said the girl as he got up from his swing, “I could be pushed” she said as she nodded her head, feeling his hands on her waist as she started to swing.

shrugging his shoulders, he bit his bottom lip and looked at his feet for a split second. " wouldn't go that far,  " he mumbled, before looking up at rose. " i don't think anyone's perfect. but then again, that's kind of the charm, isn't it? that someone isn't 100% perfect?  " he asked and looked at her, as she said that no one is stopping him from kissing her. his smile softened. " maybe later,  " he said and then got up and walked behind her. as he put his hands on her waist, he started to gently push her, stepping forward to give her some more speed. pulling her back, he laughed and let her go, before she came back and he repeated the actions. 

She swallowed when he said he didn’t want to kiss her right now, had she done something wrong? Rose looked forward as he pushed her gently before he pulled her all the way back and let her go, flying high, “Noah!” the girl exclaimed as she laughed.

noah chuckled softly, pushing her forward and the way her laugh filled the air caused his heart to actually jump for a split second. " hang on tight, " he said and grinned, continuing to push her forward. after doing it a couple of times more, he grabbed her and slowed her down and once it had slowed down completely, he pushed his head forward, looking over her shoulder and he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers in a sweet peck on the lips. " woops,  " he whispered, looking at her before pulling his head back and once he did, the smile on his lips was almost impossible to wipe off.

“Holding” she replied as he continued to push her through the cold winter air. She was smiling, just being around him made her forget about everything else. He stopped her suddenly and gave her the softest peck on the lips. He moved his head away quickly before she could really do anything she just sat there smiling, “and what was that for?” she asked coyly.

"  i just wanted to,  " he said and shrugged as he pushed her back and forth softly, looking down at the girl with a growing smirk on his lips. he sank his teeth into his bottom lip and hummed softly. " do you wanna go and get a refill?  " he asked as he leaned against the chains, keeping the swing still.

"A refill sounds great" said Rosemary with a smile as she got up and turned to face him, putting her knee in the swing to be closer to him, "and maybe a dance? I promise no shenanigans so early in the night" the girl added. She wanted to be ... well more present at this party. At the last one she had spent the whole time it felt like in a room with Noah.

" a dance sounds good, " he spoke as he held out his hand, for the girl to take hold of. once rosemary did, noah pulled her up on her feet and once she was, he let her hand go and stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans. " well, come on then... let's get going, beautiful. "

Rose smiled when he took her hand, and kept it on when he let it go immediately after, putting his hands in his jeans. "Let's, handsome" she said with a smile as she set a course, "Race ya" she chimed as she took off running towards the house and into the kitchen, beating him there. To be fair she had given herself a head start. "I won, you have to make the drinks" she teased as she stood in front of all the options.

when she took off towards the house, he laughed and ran after her, but didn't manage to catch up with her. looking at rose as they entered the kitchen, he breathed heavily as she said that she had won and he had to make the drinks as they stood in front of all of the options. "  alright, i guess i can do that. what do you want, miss?  " he asked and went to grab two red cups, looking at her with raised eyebrows and a growing smirk on his lips. 

Rose looked at everything, "Vodka and Cranberry" said the girl with a bashful smile when he flashed her that smirk. "And then on to dancing?" she asked, she had already had a decent amount of alcohol tonight between pregaming and what she had before she went outside. "What are you having?" she asked as he poured her drink, looking at his hands holding the cups. Just thinking about how they had held her the other day.

"  vodka and cranberry, coming right up,  " he spoke and grinned as he grabbed the things he needed to make her the drink she wanted. and then on to dancing? the fact that she seemed to want to dance with him caused the smile on his lips to grow. "  then to dancing,  " he agreed, sinking his teeth into his bottom lip as he began to mix the two beverages together. when she asked what he was going to have, he bit his bottom lip. " i... i don't know. probably coke and vodka, " he said and chuckled softly, as he noticed how she looked towards his hands. tilting his head to the side, the smirk on his lips widened as he pushed his hand towards her, with the cup. "  here you go. it might be a little strong.  "

"Strong is good" said Rosemary as she took the cup from him, there eyes maintaining contact. She took a large sip from the cup as he made his own drink. "I think tonight is going to be a really good night" said the girl, "for two friends that is" she added looking over at him, it was dangerous for her to spend so much time with him. He was pretty much everything she had been looking for, everything on her list. The other shoe would drop though, and her heart would be broken for sure. She couldn't let that happen.

he chuckled and looked at rosemary, who said that strong was good. he sank his teeth into his bottom lip and looked at her as she said that she thought tonight would be a really good night.for two friends that is " yeah. for two friends, " he said and smiled, nodding his head ever so gently. noah wanted to spend as much time with rosemary as possible, but he also knew what that could lead into. "  because that's just what we are, good friends. " he sank his teeth into his bottom lip and hummed, keeping his gaze locked with hers for a second before he took another sip of the drink, letting it slide down the back of her throat. 

Rosemary laughed, "I think you might be one of the best friends I've ever had" she teased, giving him a little wink. God, he was so sexy. She couldn't stop thinking about it. Rose took another long sip of her drink, "Time to dance" she said, taking his hand and pulling him out onto the dance floor. The music was blaring and her hips started to move to the beat. "I like your music better" she said over the music to him. 

" oh yeah?  " he said and leaned forward, " there are many things i could do to make me your best friend,  " he said and winked again, before shaking his head and looking at rosemary who too another long sip of her drink. time to dance " yes, let's, " he said and nodded as she took his hand and pulled him out onto the dance floor. once they got out there, the dark-haired male chuckled softly at her comment about the music once her hips began to move along to the music, he chuckled softly as he did the same; moving his hips along with hers. he stepped forward, putting his large, guitar-kissed hands on her waist and pulling her towards him. 

Rose felt his strong hands around her waist, their bodies touching. Then in her back pocket she felt a vibration. Reluctantly Rose checked her phone, "Fuck, it's my bio mom" said the girl, dreading it even more now. "I have to take this, but I will find you later okay?" she promised, running off to go talk to her biological mother on the phone. After a horrible phone call, she went to go find Noah and didn't see him on the dance floor, but she found June and they started dancing, forgetting to go find Noah.

noah looked at rose, who said she had to take the phone. but i will find you later, okay? " uhhh... okay? " he said and watched as she ran off. standing in the middle of the dance floor, he shook his head and rubbed his hand against the back of his neck as he moved out of the dance floor and towards where some of his friends were hanging out.
