If you’re one who’s prioritizing the “proper promotion” of your artist by their company. First of all, I question your definition of artistic fulfillment and success, but second and much more importantly you’re implying that:

1. A group or artist who is NOT “properly promoted” by their company is somehow less successful and needs someone else’s help to be better at what they do. — “Imagine how much MORE they could achieve if they were just properly promoted!”

2. A group or artist who IS “properly promoted” is only successful because they had backing from a company. You’ve effectively devalued all the hard work they’ve done themselves. — “See what happens when you have a company who actually knows what they’re doing!”

If you don’t see the problem with either one of those scenarios then I guess it is what it is. But y’all have hopped on this bandwagon of “GOT7 deserves better” and decided that means “marketing scheme” instead of “please help these artists fulfill their creative dreams regardless of the public notoriety it achieves.”

Some of y’all care more about album stats than you care about the actual art and artist and it fucking shows.
