Of course a prestigious toy brand like Perfect Doll would have sponsorships that would promote education! I like to think that the dolls' items get duplicated in their realm when they're purchased in The Big World; books and subscriptions get purchased through the dolls and... magic makes them doll-sized or something- don't think too much about it! I know I'm not!

this elicits zero emotions from me. no positive, no negative thoughts.

I think as a ship I can respect it, but as a viewer of the show i don't particularly care for Aone, he's never been particularly interesting to me. It is also painful because I am not a multishipper in most cases, so the iron grip I have on ushiten cannot be let go. But I will give it a sincere thought!

I do think if they'd have run into each other in the competition hallway, Aone would have locked on and pointed at Ushiwaka as the ace, and Ushiwaka would have been so confused but assumed this was some kind of social convention he doesnt understand, and just decide to point back at him without emotion. And I think that would have surprised Aone. and also everyone else. I can imagine this pointing going on for several minutes as Futakuchi tries to decide if he should stop it, sparing baffled glances between these two idiots.

I think as a ship I can see a fun dynamic with Aone being quiet because he's quiet but Ushijima is quiet because he's Mr. Autism - that is to say, I think it's really funny to imagine Aone silently correctly his behaviour when Ushijima is Misunderstanding Something, but he's not very social himself so he just sorta... pushes at Ushijima and shakes his head like "no honey, thats not right, stop that."

I can imagine them very domestically, I cant imagine them very... romantic. I feel like they'd both be ass at planning dates.

I do think Ushijima would adore his turtle. They might have multiple turtles. I think Ushijima could be a turtle guy with enough exposure.

I do like Ushi-ships that include Tendou as the best friend still because I think thats very funny. Imagine Aone, finally getting a date with this very cool, very skilled and highly acclaimed player he's admired forever, and he's very nervous and he's heading to the Shiratorizawa gates, because that's where they're meeting, and Tendou comes swinging down from the trees (or whatever he does in his spare time) like "so you wanna date my bff is that right?" and I just feel like Aone would not enjoy conversations with Tendou like that. He doesnt even know who this is, he's just scary. Why is his super calm and cool new boyfriend's best friend the scariest person???? Ushijima would have to shoo him away.

The Story of Nightstar

I wanted to do a comic going over the story of Nightstar since I stopped doing the moon comics, but still wanted to go over the ideas for the story I had myself, I made this.

This goes over the things I made of the past, the intro comic, as well as what happened in the clangen, what I'd gotten to and what happened later. More in-depth explanation of the story and what happened in the clangen after where I left off below.

I really wanted to like the design of the next leader so I tried picking cats whose designs I liked, so the deputy changed several times. Bluestripe ended up dying so I chose an older cat who would die earlier since there were no other cats whose designs I liked.

There was a kit born into the clan who I wanted as the next leader but alas they also died before even reaching adulthood. Next was Wolverinewish, a loner the clan found wounded who joined the clan. In the end she was the only one whose design I liked enough to set as the next deputy.

Nightstar was taken by humans while on a patrol and it got me real nervous as I would have to figure out what to do about it if they were gone for forever. I was thinking they were killed by the humans but left to bleed out, but in the end they managed to return to the clan.

In the meanwhile though the game made Wolverinewish the next leader, Wolverinestar. Now the clan had two leaders in the game. I decided to let Wolverinestar stay as the leader and wait out for Nightstar to die to be the actual switch for the two. That Wolverine stayed as temporary leader while Nightstar was gone and returned to deputy duties after they were back.

Nightstar's death was a rather anticlimactic. They were bit by a snake and slowly died from it. For the story I decided that Nightstar realized their time was coming and only let Wolverinewish to enter the den they were staying in.

Then they revealed the ability they were given by Smoketrail: the ability to take over other cats' bodies upon death. They needed to be in close proximity upon death or it wouldn't work. Smoketrail, who died abanoned, couldn't find any body to move to and became a spirit. Nightstar always kept a spare body around when going around to make sure they had one.

Wisteriashell sees Wolverinewish walk out of the den, pronouncing Nightstar dead and themself as Wolverinestar, the new leader, she is clueless that it is in fact Nightstar themself.

Nightstar continues leading the clan in the new body, gathering power and finally takes on MoonClan, defeating it with smaller numbers as the cats of the clan weren't very loyal to begin with.

Nightstar continues switching bodies unknown to everyone else. The clan cats tolerate them better than the previous leaders as they know how to appeal to them, while hiding the fact that they are taking over the bodies of each new leader.

As a side note I also thought about Rootstar and Duststar having their own special powers. Rootstar had the ability to somewhat see the future, though very flawed. This was one reason for his take-over of other clans. He foresaw a threat outside of his clan, but in the end he himself was the cause of it.

Duststar's power was the ability to read other cats' feelings. Lie detection, general vibe checks and the sorts. He knew Nightflash was rebellious, but didn't see them as a threat. What could they do alone? Most other cats weren't very willing to rise up against him either.

Nightstar could have used the body snatching ability to take over someone important and close to Duststar to assassinate him, but knew it wouldn't work with Duststar's ability, so they went for the more straightforward method.

LAES IS FINALLY LETTING THEM BE OKAY- BY GOD, THIS EPISODE WATERED MY CROPS AND LOWERED MY ANXIETY-

Their conversation had me in literal tears, everything about it was just grjsklw-

The two of them just communicating and being open is EVERYTHING to me!

Lunar realizing that Earth needed their comfort, that instead of wallowing, they needed to reassure her, and be there for her-

Earth's quiet confession, that in that moment, she wondered if Lunar could lash out at her as well…

The way Lunar subconsciously was like "I don't have that much trauma, I should already be over it", and Earth basically answering with "But it was a lot. It was overwhelming and painful, and we shouldn't have expected you to just be okay"

The way they talked about Eclipse, about how a part of Lunar wanted to understand Eclipse, wondered if they could've changed anything! But also making it clear that this was an unhealthy relationship, and they had every right to leave! Because while yes, they've only hit them once(three times actually, I think🤔), it doesn't make it okay. Not to forget the emotional abuse, and the murder. However, in that moment, Lunar humanized Eclipse! They didn't see him as the monster peeking through their window anymore, but like the rest of them, who's just as fucked up as the rest of them-

Lunar saying "I just want my sister back", because they were taught, that love is conditional.

Earth telling them "You never lost me" because of course they didn't, because Earth adores them with everything she's got, because the celestial family doesn't do conditional love, because their love is true and protective and unwavering-

I can't even BEGIN to express all the feelings that ep made me feel holy SHIT!!!! Lunar absolutely splayed their heart out in front of Earth and they were even more open and unguarded than they were in the therapy episode and AUAGHGHHHH ITS SO EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!!

AND GHOD YEA. LUNAR'S SELF REFLECTION..... HUGE!!!!! Lunar finally realizing that trauma isn't as easy as "slap as a mask on it and then ur okay!!" and that they are STILL FUCKED UP FROM ECLIPSE but also like u said they HUMANIZED ECLIPSE!!!! THAT IS!!!! SUCH A BIG STEP FOR LUNAR I THINK!!!!!!!

AND YEAH AAGHAHAGGGG YOU NEVER LOST ME AND THE HUG AND AAAAAAAAAA THEY'RE GUNNA BE OKAYYYYY THEYRE SIBLINGS FOREVER THERE IS JOY IN THE WORLD I'M SO HAPPYYYYYY UEUEEUEUEUE
