Kel isn't mad at him for anything he said... Because hey, if he never said anything, then they wouldn't have had Mari back!

What if the group realizing that Kel wasn't in the best place mentally before Hero even said that because what kind of mentally stable person has the bright idea of killing themself just after hearing that? Most would probably just think that their loved one didn't mean it but he took it to heart. Literally.

And Sunny especially would feel horrible, because none of this would've happened if Mari had never died in the first place

What if the group barely visits Kel's grave because he's always around them anyway(despite only Mari and Hero being able to see him). Basil offers flowers though.

Do you think that Hero and Mari would tell the group about his ghost following them? Like, would they tell them what he's doing and how he seems to be feeling?

Mari bringing the group back together to try and convince Kel to take his life back from her and he's just happily smiling at her, "You did it! You did in 3 days what I couldn't in 2 years! Hero was right, it really would have been better if I died and not you!"

Also, something, Kel in the SAVIOR AU collectively pulled pranks on everybody, generally caused trouble, like bringing a watergun or two without anybody knowing, maybe using his limited knowledge of baking to make cookies with hot sauce in them, stuff like that, Sally was also often brought along on these escapades, but basically always got away with it, being able to keep a much more level face if questioned, Kel did not, and often got in trouble... his parents didn't usually do it though, Hero had to. Do you wanna know what kids who don't receive enough attention do, act out, to get attention through scolding (at least as far as I know, I'm not a psychologist) Kel in this AU also has to compete for love and attention with two other siblings, both being smart, as Sally really wants to be an astronomer in this AU... so... yeah!

What if people at school saying that Kel looks like a girl and the teachers constantly deadnaming him because that's his birth name but he had no one to turn to or defend him because well, he's not on good terms with Aubrey, Basil hates confrontation, Sunny's not coming out and he wouldn't want to bother Hero while he's still grieving over Mari. (Not that he would care in that state. He'd probably just tell him to suck it up or not respond at all.)

I mean, every school I've been at (even my very transphobic old school) have been respectful of if kids want nicknames, so since Kel is a reasonable shortening of Kelsey, I'm sure he'd be able to get most teachers to call him Kel

What if, in a fit of blind rage, during The Fight, Hero had accidentally told Kel that it would should have been Kel instead of Mari who died

I've seen that in fics a few times. And I can imagine it starting to get to Kel's head, no matter how much Hero promises he didn't mean anything he said during The Fight

I feel like it would be heartbreaking to see Kel cry. Like, even if you don't know him well.

And especially for the people who do know him well. Like, when talking ab The Fight, it was when Hero realized he made his brother cry that he finally snapped out of it and realized, Oh Shit, He Fucked Up

It's just such a rare occurrence that it's startling and heartbreaking to see him cry
