i just saw a german hogan's heroes fan call Hochstetter "Stetti" in a yt comment and i'm still giggling in disbelief omg
noooooo don't make him cute, he's legally barred from being cute omg haha
#yt keeps recommending snippets of the german dub to me and tbh it's one of the few things that make me smile and giggle every time#when it comes to fun nicknames we've got burki for burkhalter; schultzie for schultz; willi for klink and apparently stetti for hochstetter#...now i wonder what kinda nickname dear langenscheidt would have ahhh#langi or scheidti sounds too weird... maybe Karlchen (based on his first name)??? that'd be so cute ; - ; ♡#(and it'd kinda match with one of schultz' nicknames: Strudelchen)#oh no now i wanna know what everyone's nicknames in camp would be ahhhhhhh#head empty only silly hogan's heroes thoughts#ah yeah almost forgot my favourite universally applied recurring nickname: süße Nudel#(mostly used when someone did something genuinely nice or in a mocking way when someone's unhappy with what someone else did lol)#(means sweet noodle btw and i think that's very adorable)#(my fav. example of it being used was in the scene where hogan agreed to change places with klink to keep him safe from a supposed intruder)#(and klink said: hogan; you sweet noodle; you! you'd really do that for me?! ;; and i think that's very sweet)
