So, my dad gives me random ass info of what went on when i was either pre-birth or a toddler. Among these are just chaos of childhood. And one of them was chaos of him. You know how some people are like "Let the baby hear Mozart in the womb" etc, etc? Well. My parents apparently did that. But my dad had control of the music. I was listening to Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains in the womb and honestly, might be why I'm like this.

#taks speaks #i really do like those bands tho #but the question of if that even does anything to a child is the question #and i find this knowledge fairly funny thinking about that #ntm she did go to a pearl jam concert with me in there allegedly #ah the weird absorption that fetuses allegedly do #brings this up somehow lmao #like this is up for interpretation though and i surely didn't have a concept of language at that point #but may be why i ended up into literally all music of that sort #if it does anything at least #*shrugs* idfk. remembered that from yesterday and i was listening to that stuff earlier sooo #hang on i actually found a study about this and apparently babies do recognize the music after birth #and tend to enjoy it later on #so uh. yeah. my dad curated my taste in music apparently #no wonder i have the taste in music of a dad #dad rock per se. even though this is hardly dad rock but i saw that one thing calling linkin park dad rock and reeled #i'd say 70s rock is more of that sort and i also really like that so i'm not even helping here #is meteora REALLY considered dad rock now?? Because what. it's barely 20yrs old now #oh. right. 20 years is what does it #shit. maybe it is old now. oh god.
