There is the briefest hint of a smug smile as Maya took another precise swipe at one of the shadow-clad chorus surrounding them. Though she was performing alongside her rival for this revue, she couldn’t help but want to show off to the other even now. She spots another chorus behind Claudine as she turns, taking the opportunity to grab the blonde by the waist and pull her towards her, leading her into one armed dip as her sword hand thrust towards the shadowed creature. 

She looks down at Claudine with an amused smirk, “I can’t afford to slack off after all.”
