nah, i don't think i would've wanted to include Agony anyway 🥴
[Devil Summoner World Guidance] Agony
A zombie martyr carrying a cross on his back. The meaning of his name is "anguish" [agony].
I figured I could make him similar to UFC's "Kimo Monster". Since the zombie is carrying a cross, I was also thinking of referencing The Mission* but that would have resembled the movie too much and it would have gotten me in trouble, so I decided to turn him into "Agony" because of his pain. (Kaneko Kazuma)
*thanks @eirikrjs (also blame me for the lack of Agony in this post :D)

I'm sorry for the fast-paced plot. Also, the preface of the story is based on the manga titled Hana's Demons of Lust so please don't call me out on some similarities. I swear, I tried. I tried editing this before posting but as usual, there might be some errors. Please just let me know. Feedbacks are highly appreciated, please just comment anything. Thank you for reading this fic. 🥰
PROLOGUE: HOPE
Hell had always been hell.
A hot place full of agony. An evil place full of torment.
There’s certainly no joy without torment.
And Yuta had always despised this place.
It was a scorching hot place filled with ear-piercing screams of tortured souls. Evil souls that doesn’t need mercy.
Souls that had done the worst in mankind.
Like him.
A prisoner, chained and caged, in hell.
There’s really no hope for him.
Hell is such a bad place.
I. LAST SONG
Y/N had always had a very different life.
Even at a young age, she knew that she was adopted. Her adoptive mom would always tell her the story of how she and her husband had a hard time conceiving a child so they asked a psychic for advice. The woman just gave them an address and there was Y/N’s mother, giving birth on the floor, on her own. Growing up, she didn’t know whether to believe in that story. Isn’t it too coincidental? They could just tell her that her birth mother gave her up for adoption instead of concocting an absurd tale like this.
Yet, Y/N had always felt the love of her adoptive parents.
They shower her with guidance and love no daughter could ever imagine. They sent her to some of the prestigious schools, even spending lavish amounts of money just on her. Then it all drained down when the father of the house started getting addicted to gambling.
It was a hard transition in their life.
Instead of attending college abroad, Y/N had to work all these part-time jobs for both her parents who only keep on fighting non-stop. In the morning, she would work in a small coffee shop near their home. During lunch, she would serve tables at a diner. Then at night, she would work until midnight in a local gas station. She might get lucky if she got enough sleep rather than worrying about her father’s whereabouts and her mother’s repeatedly crying.
A lot of times she had thought about ending it all.
If only she died with her birth mother when she was a newborn, this wouldn’t even have happened.
Because obviously, the problem had been her all along.
The couple shouldn’t have spent so much on a stranger living in their home, they might have saved a lot of money to spend lavishly on their own.
Clearly, the problem is her appearing in their life.
Maybe it is truly better to end it all.
But the worst is yet to come.
She was heading to her last part-time job of the day when her phone rang with an unknown number. The second time it called, she answered with a confused hello before a male voice answered, “Are you Ms. Y/N Y/LN?” The girl only hummed in answer, “I’m from the Fire Department. We’re sorry but your house was set on fire.” The shock in her system almost deafened her. What? A fire? But the house was fine when she left that morning. “We’re also sorry, we cannot save your parents.”
It was all so unfair. She’s the one who wants to die. Why would they race her to it? Why would they even hug each other after setting their own house on fire? Her parents must be out of their minds.
They should have waited for her so they could end this misery together.
It was the longest week of her life. She had to hold a funeral ceremony for her parents alone. She had to look for a place to stay. She had to look for money to get by. Even if their property was charred from the fire and her parents died, she cannot receive any insurance since it was their doing in the first place. Since she was adopted, no one in her parents’ relatives wanted to take her in.
Maybe she’s really meant to be alone in life.
Y/N didn’t know how she reached this part of the forest. She was just looking for a place to put her parents’ ashes and maybe move on with her life. How? She still isn’t sure. She isn’t even sure if she wants to move on with her life. But as she walked closer to the dark path of tall trees, she felt her steps heavier.
She doesn’t want to live alone.
Maybe she should just die.
Here.
Where no one could see her.
As she looked around, seated on the dirt, she started thinking of ways to die in this place. This is dark and secluded. Surely, no one would dare to come here. She isn’t even sure why she was here in the first place. If she keeps walking, she’ll surely be lost.
Maybe she could die of hunger. She doesn’t know about the plants and trees around. Maybe she could eat something and wait for it to be poisonous for a quick death.
Or maybe she could die from being eaten by an animal. She wished there was a lion or a bear around that could just ravish her. She knew she didn't have to run, she didn’t even have the energy to do so. But all she could hear were cricket sounds.
Then it hit her, seeing a sharp stone nearby. If she wanted a quick death, she could just kill herself. Like her parents. She didn’t care if she’d be sent to hell because of this. Maybe it was a better place than here.
As she took the sharp stone, she grazed her finger earning a cut that amused her. Blood flowed out of the wound, dropping on the ground. How pathetic.
Before she could take the stone and cut herself once again, she felt the ground shaking. Is it an earthquake? A mountain of dirt started forming in front of her which made her move backward. What the hell is this? Black birds started flying and an ear-piercing screech could be heard. She covered her ear almost immediately but noticed a red light started coming out of the hole from the mountain of dirt.
Y/N’s eyes widened in surprise as a mist of something black started coming out from the source of the red light. A beast-like image started to form, making her rub her eyes in disbelief. Is she dreaming right now? Is this a hallucination? Eyes started forming on the ghoulish creature: bright, red eyes that scared the hell out of her. “A young maiden,” the image in front of her started saying in that deep voice. She wanted to run but her feet were stuck on the ground so she fell down in fright. “I’ll have my fill of you tonight.”
When she said that she wanted to be eaten by an animal, she meant an animal she could see in the zoo. An animal she’s familiar with. Not this scary-looking creature which seemed like an apparition. Maybe this is her real death. As the image started forming horns, she thought of what it might be. A demon. Maybe she’s already in hell.
A tear fell from her eyes as she stared at the ground. She’s alone and will soon be eaten by this scary yet strange unknown creature. Isn’t this what she wanted all along?
But as she felt her feet getting colder, she started thinking of a birthday party she’d have to attend. She hasn't bought a gift for her co-worker’s four-year-old child. And she insisted that Y/N would come because the kid was rather fond of her.
As the cold feeling crept up on her legs, she remembered a promise she made to one of the patrons in the coffee shop - that she’d always make his coffee. As it reached her waist, she started apologizing to her parents for being a bad daughter and wishing that they were still here with her.
She doesn’t want to die just yet. “Please,” she whispered, feeling half of her body already freezing cold. “I want to live.”
She remembered what her father would always tell her when she felt helpless in any situation, “I’m not alone. I’m not alone.” She kept on chanting.
“Lift your head.” It was a male voice. Closer than the voice from before. She doesn’t know why she was compelled to lift her head and come eye-to-eye with a young man. Big dark eyes stared at her. “Kiss me.”
What? Is he a pervert? She’s here dying in the hands of what seemed like a demon and he wants her to kiss him. “Hurry up so I can save you.”
Again, she didn’t know why she complied with his perverted request and just placed her lips on his. His hands held her cheeks as he slipped a tongue into her mouth, surprising her. Slowly, her body started feeling warm. Is it the kiss? What is happening to her body?
Y/N was breathless when the unknown man broke the kiss. He stood up and then faced the demon-looking creature. “You should be in jail, aren’t you?” The beast claimed making the young man snicker. Y/N was just confused about what was happening. Who is this man? Where did he come from? And why is her body feeling so hot as if running a fever?
In a swift motion, the human started swinging his arm, slicing the beast-like creature. There was gray smoke before another red light could be seen, illuminating the whole darkness. Y/N had to cover her eyes because of the intense light then heard a small thump beside her as the place darkened once again. The young man was lying on the ground, blood gushing on his shoulder. “Oh my God,” she exclaimed as she started panicking. “What should I do?” She should have listened to those first aid classes her dad would always ask her to go.
“Fuck me.” She froze. What? Did she hear him correctly? “Fuck me.”
There was urgency in his voice, as well as despair in his eyes. If he was a pervert, he could just push her on the ground and do what he wanted. Her body felt so hot, her insides tingling. Maybe she is the perverted one. Why is she horny? In the middle of the forest? Because of a man she just met? But he did save her life, right?
With a heavy breath, Y/N leaned in to place a kiss on his lips but his strong arms held her waist to pull her closer.
Just for this moment, she doesn’t want to feel so alone.
II. OFF THE MASK
It’s crazy. Somehow Yuta finds himself getting crazy.
And it isn't the good kind.
Her mouth was hot, saliva like a drug pulling him in. As her tongue wrestled with his, he could feel her warm fingertips against the cold skin inside his ripped sweater. Everywhere she touched felt so hot, burning. But maybe this was the desire he had missed all these years. Her lips trailed on his jaw, south to his neck. Her fingers started pulling his shirt, removing it from his body, exposing his naked torso in the open air. She kept on pressing butterfly kisses on his exposed skin, lightly sucking, earning purple marks on his skin.
He wanted to fuck her earlier, eager to regain some of his power back. But now, it feels like she needs him more than he needs her. Yuta removed her shirt and then her brassiere, throwing it to the ground. His mouth came in contact with her breasts, tongue licking her nipples which made the girl moan. Those sweet moans.
He missed this feeling. To be able to give a woman pleasure.
The girl kept on grinding her hips on his arousal. “Please, fuck me.”
And Yuta was weak.
Clothes were easily discarded on the ground. The woman’s pleas repeatedly echoed on the empty night. The sweet scent of her arousal made Yuta drunk in his own sense of arousal. “Please, I need you.” But he needs her more. She kept on riding him, her fingernails digging against his skin. A pleasurable pain. He was sure she wasn’t a virgin, evidence was the way she rolled her hips to push him deeper inside her. Yet Yuta can’t help but be too pleased with how her tight pussy could clench on his girth. His hands grabbed her breasts, rubbing her nipples earning loud mewls from her. His mouth would keep on kissing her lips and then suck the skin of her neck when he feels like she can’t breathe. She’s truly an addicting taste.
The taste of despair and hope. Yuta could easily taste those emotions in the girl in his arms. How long was it since he last felt this liberating feeling? Her melodious voice moaning for him to go deeper, her sweet scent that overwhelms his senses, her warm skin in contrast to the chilling cold, and the tight feeling of her pussy gripping his cock makes him crazy.
The moment Yuta smelled the sweet maiden’s blood, he knew something stirred inside him. Feeling her cumming for the third time, he realized what it was. She unleashed the lust demon inside him.
His inner incubus.
And an incubus needs sex, amazing sex, to regain their power. To regain their strength.
“Fuck me some more,” The girl kept on whispering in her pleasured state. Eyes almost rolling on the back of her head, lips agape. Yuta had to deliver. What kind of an incubus would he be if he left this girl wanting more? As he drilled his cock deeper into her, he started recalling the last time he had this feeling.
It’s been years. With that person.
All demons had their own sins. However, being the son of one of the greatest demons in hell, Yuta had already exhibited all sins presented to a demon even at a young age. Being an envious demon, his father was scared of the lengths his son could potentially go to. That and the fact that he made a mortal sin against humans earned him a place in the pits of hell.
For years, Yuta had been chained and caged in agony for a mistake he never wanted, he never meant to do.
A crazy demon. That was what he would hear when they talked about him. A criminal who made a grave mistake in the demon world.
And he already accepted his fate. Maybe this is just his purpose. Maybe this is what he was meant to do. Maybe this was his end.
He had lost all his hope. As well as his power.
Left in the pits of hell, bound by chains and caged.
Not until a sweet scent of blood woke him up.
Yuta kissed the maiden’s lips, tongue slipping past her mouth as he tasted all he could from her. Something about her is addicting. Invigorating.
After being locked in hell for years, Yuta didn’t know if he had the strength to fight a demon. Especially a flesh-eating one. They’re normally more powerful and with his diminishing skills, he knew he could not save this girl. Yet when her lips made contact with him, he felt recharged. More powerful.
She isn’t an ordinary girl, no doubt. If he wanted to survive the human world, he needed her. Yuta needs to recharge as much as he can.
The girl kept on panting, begging for his touch. The scent of her arousal didn’t leave his senses even if he had already felt her orgasm a few times. If possible, it only heightened. How far can this girl go? Because he could go on, even if the sun starts rising. Yet he had to remind himself that she was a mere human. He might just kill her. And with the special scent she possessed, she couldn’t bear doing that.
If he needs to survive in the human world, he’ll definitely need her.
He probably pushed her too hard that she’s now passed out on the ground. Yuta stared at the tip of his fingers. This is probably enough to sustain him for weeks. His huge black wings appeared making him smile. True, he’s a demon but he cannot just leave her alone in this place especially if she’s this special. Her scent could easily attract other demons and he cannot just risk that.
Yuta never believed in the entity opposite them. He was even startled when she announced a heavenly being’s name earlier but he decided to shrug it off. It’s not like he would disintegrate in the presence of that being. Gently placing her on the bed while she’s sleeping soundly, he might just believe that angels do exist. How can this measly human look so calm and beautiful?
This is crazy.
He had definitely gone crazy.
The man snapped his fingers as two winged figures started appearing on the foot of the bed. “Yu. Uta.” Yuta called. “I’ll leave her to the two of you. Protect her at all costs.”
“Yes, master.” The two younger devils saluted at the older one.
He held her cheeks, placing a soft kiss on her agape lips. “I’ll see you soon,” he whispered, taking one last look at her. “Y/N.”
III. SAVE YOU
“You feel amazing, Y/N.” The toned man started whispering as he was balls deep inside her. She could feel his whole length deep inside her, earning repeated screams and moans from her. “Now, cum in my cock.” He didn’t need to say it twice as she let go.
Then there’s a knock on the door.
Y/N woke up, sweating hard at the intense dream she had. Her sheets were wet with her orgasm and sweat. That was all a dream? How intense. How vivid. Another knock made her annoyed as she stood up to answer the door.
It feels weird, all of a sudden.
What is this place? This isn’t the house where she lived with her parents. Not a friend’s house. It feels foreign. Is she even in the right place? Was it a one-night stand? There was an incessant knock on the door but she surveyed the whole living room of the house where she just woke up. There are pictures of her, as well as her parents. On one side of the room was a small table with two urns and fresh flowers. Is this her place?
The knock on the door continued and she opened it to see what the commotion was about. Two kids, a boy and a girl, were staring at her with their wide round eyes. “Took you so long to answer the door,” the younger girl in a pink hoodie claimed as she entered the door. The young boy in a gray hoodie handed her a brown paper bag.
Wait, who are these kids?
“Noona, you’ll be late for your job.” The male claimed as he sat on the couch and opened the television. “We’ll take care of your place. Go to your job.”
Y/N lightly glanced at the clock and saw that she only had an hour for work.
It feels bizarre. Her feet knew where to go but her eyes were so unfamiliar with the surroundings that she felt as if she was still dreaming. Wait, is she still in a dream? The girl had to try and pinch her arm but it hurt. This must be real. Yet, she feels so weird.
“I’m glad you’re back,” her co-worker from the coffee shop claimed. She placed her bag in the cabinet and then put on her apron before checking on what she should do. The usual customers came, as well as the old man who kept on ordering drinks from her. It was a peaceful shift not until the manager came to her and tapped her shoulder, “You’re doing well. I’m glad you’re feeling better.”
The walk to her next job was a familiar one. Maybe it was the shock she had after the death of her parents that she felt weird earlier. Maybe she’s still unsure of the course of her life, that's why she’s feeling rather odd. Her co-worker from the diner had been excitedly telling her about the preparations for her daughter’s birthday party and Y/N just remembered that she doesn’t have any gift for her yet. “You should bring Yu and Uta to the party. I’m sure they would love the bubble show.” The other commented that confused her.
“Yu? Uta?”
The girl laughed as if she was joking. “Y/N, they’re the kids you usually bring here.” She cleared up and then stared at her worryingly. “Are you alright? Do you need to rest?”
She shook her head. This feels so bizarre. What the hell is happening to her?
“Maybe it’s the effect of the medicine you’re taking,” one of her co-workers from the gasoline station claimed as she shared the weird feeling creeping up on her since the early morning. “You’re still taking them right?” You blinked at that. Were you? “You need it, Y/N. That was such a traumatic event in your life.” She noted that made her nod. She doesn’t need to spell it out for her but somehow she understood it so well. “Do you want to talk to a psychiatrist I know?”
Y/N shook her head. That was the last thing on her mind - to think that she was crazy in the head.
The moment she came home, the television was still playing as the two kids slept on the couch. What are they still doing here? She lightly shook them to wake up but only the male opened his eyes, greeting her with a “Welcome home, noona”.
“What are you still doing here?” She asked, closing the television. Did they stay here the whole day? Is there food in her house? Have they eaten something? “Should I call your parents?”
The younger girl stirred in her sleep, hugging the boy. “Master is still on a trip, he won't come home just yet.” She whispered then snored. Master? What was that term? Are they slaves? What about their parents? Aren’t they worried for them?
Y/N had to give the boy a confused look, “Sorry noona.” He claimed with a toothed smile. She noticed how his teeth had little fangs on them. How adorable. “Can Uta and I stay here tonight? We won’t bother you, I promise.”
Uta? The young girl is Uta? So this young boy’s name is Yu? She cannot just leave them outside this late at night, right? She only nodded, telling them to just sleep in her room. Fortunately, she changed the sheets early that morning so the kids slept soundly on her bed. What are these two doing here? Why can’t she remember them? Is it really the medicine’s fault?
After drinking a pill, she decided to just sleep on the couch. But first, she had to check if she could make breakfast for the kids tomorrow. Although she could call child services on their parents, she doesn’t want to be the one accused of neglecting the kids. The fridge was fully stocked, which surprised her. She knew how to cook but she surely wouldn’t buy this much on grocery runs.
Is she only staying at Yu and Uta’s family house? And who are their parents?
It was pitch dark but Y/N could make up the silhouette of a man approaching her on the couch. The girl’s instinct is to shout and alert the neighbors that someone is in their home but her voice cannot come out of her lips. As the man approached, she could smell him. His muscular scent filled her nose, arousing all the system in Y/N’s body. The girl’s body felt hot as if lava started flowing in her veins instead of blood. Her nether regions felt wet. Tingly.
“Naughty, Y/N.” The man teased in his low erotic voice before leaning in close to whisper in her ear, “I can smell your arousal for me.”
“Please,” she moaned, hands reaching out for the man. “I need you.” From the darkness, she could see a smirk on his face before his hand cupped her clothed pussy and started rubbing her throbbing wetness. “Please.” One hand slipped inside her pajama pants to make contact with her clit, rubbing it with his thumb. The other hand pushed a thumb inside her mouth to prevent her from making a sound.
Y/N sucked his thumb as the man slipped his middle finger inside her core. A sound came out from her throat. “You don’t want to wake up the kids, right?” He whispered, removing his thumb from her mouth and replacing it with two fingers. Another finger slipped into her core, making her body squirm. She held the headrest of the couch, another hand clawing at the man’s arm playing with her pussy.
It feels good. So fucking good.
The man found the spot pushing her off the edge. Y/N’s toes started curling in pleasure, head lolling back that his fingers inside her mouth almost gagged her. The girl started wrapping both her hands on the man’s wrist with his fingers on her mouth. Her tongue lapped his two fingers, gently sucking. Yet, she doesn’t want anything to stop. She’s close to her orgasm. She wanted this man to give her that pleasure.
Y/N jerked her hips as if begging the man to push his fingers deeper inside her. She could feel him curling his fingers in her core, scissoring his fingers for intense pleasure. The wave of orgasm rippled against her skin, her body trembling at how intense it was.
Then she opened her eyes, panting loudly as sweat beads appeared on her forehead. What the hell? That was a dream? Why is she so horny lately? And what was that wet dream? Is she a teenager? Why is it so vivid? Why does it feel so real? And why is she so wet as if she did have an orgasm?
Because of a dream. Really?
Maybe she’s too sex-starved lately.
Y/N would always cook breakfast for the kids, even leaving lunch or small snacks for them. It had been days that the kids had become a part of her routine. She found out that they are twins but Yu, the younger boy, is the older one. A very cool kid who loves nothing but eating. Uta, the younger sister, was a very cheerful kid who hated being teased by her brother and kept on munching as if her life depended on it. They never speak anything about their family or if they go to school. They kept on playing all day, watching television, and just eating.
But one day, when she came home, with doughnuts for the kids, they were nowhere to be seen. Maybe their parents had taken them already. But they should have told her. Their parents should have thanked her for taking care of the kids.
The next day had been typical. Routinary. She just wanted to go home and rest her body. It’s been nights that she had dreamt of a man giving her intense pleasure and it’s been taking a huge toll on her. She’s tired yet she’s very aroused. She was so horny because of the dream that she feared she might just fuck the first man who will show her kindness tonight. A scary thought that made her shiver as she walked home. She should stop these thoughts. She’s walking alone for crying out loud.
A shiver ran up her spine. An eerie feeling came that someone was following her. Cautiously, she stopped to tie her shoelaces tighter. If he’s not following her, he could walk ahead of her. But the person stopped as well. He’s obviously following her. Shit, she does attract all these negative thoughts. From a closed shop window, she saw an image of a tall man but with red eyes and a long tongue slithering out of his lips.
What the hell was that?
It was a wrong turn. She didn’t know that the usual shortcut she walked to get home would be closed tonight. She was stuck in a dead end. Before she could turn back to the lighted street, a huge shadow approached her. Y/N had to walk backward to avoid the man turning her way. A smirk can be seen on his face, red eyes glaring at her. “You smell so good,” He licked his lips with his snake-like tongue. “You’ll probably taste as good.”
The man grabbed her arm, fingers digging into her flesh and creating half-moon cuts that seeped blood. “Even your blood smells so good.”
“No!” she shouted, squirming to get out of his hold. “Let me go. I’ll call the police.” A menacing laugh escaped his lips. “Please, don’t do this.” Tears started stinging her eyes in despair. No one is going to save her even if she screams, it’s so late in the night. And didn’t she just wish to be fucked earlier? Maybe this is her karma for thinking of those nasty things. “Please,” she whispered, tears springing from her eyes. “Save me.”
“Noona!” she heard someone call as she fell with a loud thud. From her tear-stained eyes, she saw Yu biting the man’s leg with his little fangs. Quickly, the man pulled his gray hoodie and threw the young kid on a nearby wall. Uta came, skin red in anger while shouting “Do not hurt my brother!” She scratched the man’s arms using her long nails but like her brother, she was immediately thrown to the ground.
A shadow appeared on the floor, lifting both the kids’ bodies. “So you were the minions?” The man asked, which made Y/N startled. Minions? And what is happening? “Where is your master? Did he abandon you, little devils?”
What? Y/N weakly stood up, her ankle hurting because of the sudden fall earlier. “Don’t hurt them.” She shouted but the two kids were just gasping for air as if they were being choked. Yet Y/N can only see their body wrapped in a shadow and floating.
The man’s red eyes stared back at her, “Let me indulge in your sweetness, human.” What the hell is happening?
Y/N tried to move back but her ankle hurt so much that she started limping. Her back could feel the wall before the man was kicked on the head from behind. She saw the shadow gone as the two kids fell down to the ground. At the speed that she could do with her sprained ankle, she walked to both of them asking them if they were alright. Both their eyes focused on the guy towering above the man who hurt them, stepping on the other’s crotch. “What is a lust demon doing here in the human world?” The man standing asked then stepped harder making the man lying on the floor grunting in pain.
“You’re also a lust demon…”
In a quick motion, the man standing leaned in to hold the lying man’s neck and carried him while choking him. “Do you really think we’re the same?” The man being choked started coughing, blood coming out of its mouth. “You hurt Yu and Uta.” He claimed, “And you have some guts thinking that you can have this girl,” Y/N furrowed her eyebrows in confusion at that statement. “She’s mine.” He growled before throwing the guy on the nearby wall.
What the hell is happening? Is this a dream? Is this a hallucination? It’s the medicine, isn’t it? Or worse, has she finally gone mad? The man swung his arm, slicing the other guy that red light started illuminating from his body.
Wait a minute, she had witnessed it before. At the forest. With the beast-looking shadow. But that was a dream.
Right?
The man turned around to face her and she blinked in fright. Both kids were behind him now, apologizing to him which startled her. Do the kids know him? Is he the master they were talking about? Then, Yu and Uta aren’t human? A hand was extended to her but she refused to take it. “What are you?” She asked in terror, voice shaking. “Please don’t hurt me.”
“After saving you, you’re begging me to not hurt you?”
“Master!” Yu shouted. “I could just erase her memory like the last time.” Erase what? Y/N stared at the young boy then at the older man standing next to him.
“No,” Y/N shouted, standing up abruptly which made her dizzy all of a sudden. “Do not touch me.” Uta stepped forward to approach her but she stopped her as well, “Even the two of you.” The young girl pouted. “What are you? What the hell are you?” She asked then covered her body with her arms, “Are you going to hurt me?” Tears fell from her eyes, “Please don’t.”
The man had a stoic look on his face before he spoke up, “Yu. Uta. You could go first.” The two kids bowed and then muttered in unison, “Yes, master.” Y/N regretted it the moment the only familiar faces were gone. But how? Where did they go? The man turned to her and she was momentarily stunned. Now that she was staring, he looked really handsome. Bright dark big eyes as if they were sparkling boba, fair skin, a high bridge nose, and red juicy lips. Why is he so attractive? Is he human?
He lent a hand, palm up, for her to take but she shook her head. “I saved your life twice, don’t you trust me enough?” So that time in the forest wasn’t a dream? And here he is, saving her once again? But why? All the questions on her mind were clouding her thoughts that she took his hand. If she wants answers, she should come to this person. He pulled her close, placing both her hands around his neck. “We’re going to fly. You’re not scared of heights, aren’t you?”
“What?” Huge dark wings appeared on his back as she scooped her in his arms. Y/N could feel the cold breeze before seeing the tops of the high-rise buildings. Was she tripping? She’s really in the air. They are flying. “Wait, wait. Don’t drop me.” She whispered in panic.
“It’s alright. It’s alright. I won’t let you fall.” he whispered in a calm voice. “You asked what I am and I’m just showing it to you.”
The girl wrapped her arms around his neck tight, eyes focused on the black wings moving across the wind. “Are you an angel?”
A hearty laugh escaped the man’s lips that startled Y/N. He’s truly handsome. She shouldn’t have doubted those religious folks when they stated that angels look very heavenly. “Quite the contrary.” He’s not an angel? But he saved her twice. Contrary? Then a demon?
“Why me?” She whispered just as a realization came. “Are you here to kill me and bring me to hell?”
The man’s feet landed on the balcony of her house, large wings disappearing almost immediately. He gently put her down, making sure that she could stand although her ankle was sprained very badly. “Because from now on, you’re mine.” Her eyes widened in surprise. She heard the same words earlier but it clearly didn’t mean anything earlier.
Right?
“I’ll save you, no matter if I live or die, Y/N.”
IV. BAD EUPHORIA
This shouldn’t happen.
Maybe Yuta had really become crazy. He should have learned from his past mistakes. This would only bring him back to the same place where he was before. Maybe it was better that he rot in person instead of this creeping feeling inside him.
“Your little sunglasses are so cute, Yu.” Y/N complimented, making the little devil smile coolly. The twins should know that showing your demon self to a human is illegal. But what does he know? He even flew her in the air. Besides, they are demons. Evil creatures. They're meant to break the rules. “These little pigtails are so adorable, Uta.” She squealed, making the younger girl giggle.
She should be scared of them. They could hurt her now that she knows a lot. Why did Yuta have to promise those things to her? He should have killed her the first time instead of keeping her even if she tasted so sweet. Even if she smelled so good. How pathetic of him.
“So these are your demon forms?” The twins nodded, flying around her with their little wings. “And you have specific powers?”
Yu nodded, “I can erase memories.”
“And I can heal anything.” Uta continued, sounding proud of herself. The girl glanced at the healed wound on her arm and then her ankle. “It’s pretty cool, isn’t it?”
The girl had to scrunch her nose, nodding at the younger girl. Yuta squinted his eyes at that. What was that? Is she showing affection to the demons? How weird. And why are the twins liking her attention so much? He shouldn’t have left them with her. “And that man is your…” She squinted her eyes before continuing, “Father?”
Yuta glared at the younger boy who chuckled nervously. He shouldn’t have taken the twins in his care. But what could he do if this was the only thing he could do seeing two wide-eyed kids entering the demon world? Besides, Yu and Uta had been great entertainment and companions to him when he was still chained back there. Now that they have the taste of the human world, he probably cannot bring those two back to hell. Even he, an older demon, doesn’t want to return to that place.
“Mister,” she called, which made Yuta look at Y/N. “Are you planning to kick me out of your house?”
“And where would you go?” The girl shrugged, “Didn’t I tell you that I should always see you? The demons had shown a liking to your scent.” Y/N rolled her eyes which annoyed Yuta. He did explain earlier that the smell of her blood had awakened some demons from hell and now, they’re roaming the human world just to look for her. If she wanted to stay alive, he should keep a close eye on her. It was a simple concept yet she had a hard time grasping that fact. How stupid. Humans are so stupid.
“And master needs you to regain his power,” Uta claimed in a high-pitched voice that made Yuta surprised. Why would she say that? Yu stopped his sister and seeing the glare Yuta had given them, the two little devils disappeared. This is getting really annoying.
“You need me to regain your power?” Yuta stood up from his chair and then shook his head, walking to the fridge and taking a bottle of water. “Do you want me to do something to help you regain your power?” He had to grasp the bottle rather tightly.
Is she seriously asking that question?
Maybe Yu’s powers had evolved so much that she doesn’t remember what they did in the forest. Yuta smiled, he knew that kid would do wonders in the future. “Mister,” she called once again that made him hiss, “Should I do…” When he turned around to face her, she was standing behind him. Her scent is stronger now that she’s closer. Yuta could easily hold her by the waist and kiss her. “...something for you?” She asked in a soft voice, eyes staring at his lips.
This is fucking dangerous. He might just hurt her again and the twins aren’t here to erase her memory or heal her. Yuta leaned in, “I’m not interested in the well-behaved you, baby.” The girl puffed her cheeks, squinting her eyes at him.
“I’m not flirting with you, stupid.” Yuta chuckled as she stomped off inside the room, closing the door with a loud thud.
How cute.
Even if he was lying on the couch and she was sleeping in the room, with the door locked shut, Yuta could smell the scent of her arousal. It was way stronger than earlier that bothered him. If this continues on, another demon could smell her and this will be trouble once again. This was his fault. She did awaken something inside him but he didn't need to awaken her sexual desires.
He should have stopped that night in the forest.
Like the other nights, he approached her in her own wet dream. A mirage that only he can create. She was squirming in bed, panting hard while sweating. Her shirt was pushed up to reveal her breasts. A wet spot was visible on the material of her shorts.
Yuta clenched his fist tight. He cannot do this to her once again. And if this continues, he might just make the same mistake he made. He shook his head, he wouldn’t do it to her.
“Please,” she whispered, heavy breaths coming out of her agape lips. But he’s a demon and there are only some temptations that he can resist. Obviously one of them isn't her. Even if her eyes were closed, tears were streaming down her face. She might be in pain. And who is he to deny her the cure she needed? “Please, fuck me.”
He held her cheek. “Ssh, my angel.” He mumbled as if she could hear him. “I’ll make you feel real good, hmm?” Yuta didn’t waste time to pull down her shorts, revealing her sopping cunt. She smelled so divine, so erotic. He could feel his body getting energized just from smelling her. How perverted can he actually get? Truly, a lust demon.
He leaned down to give a quick kiss on her pubic bone, a moan escaping her lips. All his inhibitions are gone. The self-control he had been keeping to himself was gone when his lips came in contact with her clit. Her addicting taste in his lips only made him want her more. He slipped his tongue inside her core, the taste of her arousal making him dizzy in lust. Her body kept on moving so Yuta had to hold both her legs, parting them, to have easier access.
Y/N’s moans filled the room, echoing through the walls, which only heightened his want to pleasure this girl. By now, Yuta knows her pleasure spots. The exact spot in her core that makes her let go. With the tip of his tongue, he started hitting that spot earning muffled cries from her. She’s close, he could feel it. Yuta’s tongue kept on abusing her pussy, making sure that he could explore every inch of her.
And it was the most rewarding feeling when she released everything. Yuta made sure to lap everything that she could release, not missing a single drop of her sweetness.
The guy sat on the foot of the bed, just watching her calm sleeping face. She’s very beautiful. And Yuta knew that he couldn’t fall with these beautiful things. That would be his literal downfall for sure. Yet he had felt like he had become a possessive man, not wanting to share her with anyone. He should start putting scent blockers on her so a demon wouldn’t chase after her.
But putting scent blockers on her meant being a prisoner in her chains. A mistake he had made a long time ago and regretted big time.
He shouldn’t make the same mistake twice.
“They said bittersweet is life but it’s not that sweet, honestly it’s bitter.,” Yuta claimed, holding his cup of coffee. “Like this coffee.”
The girl rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Why can’t you just ask for cream and sugar like a normal person?” She asked, putting down the jar of cream and sugar above the table with a loud sound.
“Because master is not a normal person,” Yu claimed, drinking his chocolate milkshake.
Uta was munching on her waffles when she said in a mouth filled with food, “Shouldn’t we call him dad now?” The girl giggled, wiping the younger girl’s mouth. To avoid some questions, Y/N forced him to introduce himself as Yu and Uta’s dad. Surprisingly, her co-workers believed that lie. Yuta shook his head, humans truly are gullible. “Can I order some more waffles?”
Y/N smiled. “Of course, baby girl.” She claimed while rubbing the younger girl’s cheek. “Do you want anything else, Yu?” She asked softly as the younger boy asked for the same meal as his sister. “And you?” she faced Yuta with an uninterested look that annoyed him. Where is her happy caring tone? Why is she so cold when facing him?
“Nothing else.” She rolled her eyes before leaving to the counter where her co-workers were looking at her and then at him with wide smiles on their faces. Yuta didn’t know what they were talking about but she made a disgusted face while shaking her head after looking at him.
How adorable.
Maybe it was her time of the month. But Yuta shrugged it off, she wasn’t bleeding when he ate her out last night. Did it start today perhaps? But she clearly showed her distaste at him. Is that normal? A normal female reaction, perhaps?
Even at the diner, she kept on rolling her eyes at him while showing great gentleness to the two kids. Once again, she introduced him to her co-workers as the twins’ dad and he even earned an invite to a child’s birthday party. Yu and Uta both had a blast with their non-stop eating, making the older demon amused. They surely are gluttonous demons.
Y/N was just pacing around doing her job, making Yuta watch her every move. She would smile at every customer, making sure to give them her utmost service. Now he understood it when Yu reported that she’s hardworking. A male co-worker called for her and she obediently walked to where he was. He showed her a spoon with something white and the girl immediately parted her lips to taste what was on the spoon. She nodded, making the man smile warmly at her. He swiped a thumb on her bottom lip before licking the cream on his finger which made her giggle.
What the hell was that? Is she flirting with that co-worker? A boyfriend? But the twins never mentioned a male companion in their reports. Who the hell was that?
The girl was busy serving on the tables when a young kid wearing roller skates started zooming in the middle of the diner. He zoomed past Y/N who almost fell if not for Yuta holding her waist and pulling her to sit on his lap. “Are you alright?” He realized how near she was now that she was seated on his lap and it didn’t help that he was feeling something cold seeping on his shirt.
“Oh shit,” she cursed, standing up immediately and then wiping the dark liquid with a towel. She stopped when she felt his abdomen before staring at his face with a lot of surprise in her eyes. Y/N cleared her throat before heading south to wipe his leg. Slowly, Yuta could start smelling her sweet scent. She’s getting aroused. And maybe it was because she was too close that his senses were so stimulated, he wanted to reach out to her and fuck her mercilessly in this diner.
Her co-worker muttered an 'Oh My God' at the mess that happened as Y/N apologized. She was instructed to bring Yuta to the staff room since there was an extra change of clothes that he could wear, even volunteering to look after the twins as they finished their meal. She should have declined. Doesn’t she know that he and her inside a confined space is dangerous? And with his evil dirty thoughts and her emanating sweet scent, he could just lose himself.
Yuta was right. The staff room was located at a somehow secluded part of the diner and too small to stop his raging dirty thoughts. He quickly removed the shirt that was getting slowly drenched with the cola as the girl reached for the extra clothes on the upper cabinet. When she turned around, her eyes just widened while staring straight at his naked torso. The scent was now heightened along with her biting her bottom lip. With a heavy breath, she handed the shirt and then turned around, reaching down to look for drawers on the bottom layer. The simple action created a small contact between their bodies, making Yuta hiss.
“Y/N, you could just ask.” The girl turned to him in confusion. Yuta stepped forward and she stepped back, “I can smell your arousal.”
“What?” Her eyes widened in surprise which made Yuta smirk. She’s like a deer caught in headlights. “I’m not…”
Yuta moved another step forward that their bodies were almost touching. He grabbed her wrist, placing her hand on his torso. Her cold fingers trailed to his chest down to his abdomen. “You’re probably lacking excitement, right?” Her fingers moved to the waistband of his jeans then back to his abdomen. “Do you already know the ending, Y/N?” Yuta whispered in her ear. A heavy breath as he takes in her lovely aroused scent. He guided her hand to the front of his jeans, “A little teaser.”
The girl pulled him closer, placing her lips on his. It was an invigorating feeling, a sign that he should stop himself and just let go. “Mister…” she called in her erotic voice.
“Yuta,” he immediately corrected. “Call me Yuta.”
“Yuta.” The name came off as a whimper, a sexy moan that he wanted to repeat. “Yuta, please.”
He didn’t care if the name wasn’t his anymore, as long as it kept coming out of her lips. Yuta turned her around, pulling her waist closer to him as she hiked her skirt up. “Yes, baby. I only want my name coming out of your lips.”
“Yuta.” Fuck. This is bad. But why is he so elated? How could something this fucking good be considered bad? “Yuta,” Y/N called once again which made Yuta hiss.
This will surely be his downfall.
V. PRISONER
Y/N felt as if she had done something morally and ethically wrong.
Maybe she’s a criminal who deserves to be in jail. A prisoner.
She couldn’t even look at her co-workers the moment she left the staff room. She can’t even look at both Yu and Uta even if she knew that Yuta isn’t their father. Even looking at Yuta’s eyes was very difficult for her and it’s not like his cock didn’t keep ramming on her earlier.
His cold hand was grabbing her breast, pinching her nipples using his fingers. The other hand kept rubbing her clit as he kept thrusting into her from behind. His breathing was warm against her ear as she could hear him panting, gently moaning in his low voice. It was so hot.
All the horny nights were easily forgotten because of this quick sexual session. And with what she considers a stranger whom she just found out his name? How is she suddenly so reckless and rebellious?
Y/N started fixing her skirt but Yuta wrapped his arms around her from behind, fixing the buttons of her blouse. “Skip your gasoline gig,” he whispered, which made her confused. What? “I’m going to ask the twins to leave so we can continue this at home. I’ll wait for you.”
What the hell?
How could Y/N find a horny guy who gives amazing pleasure? As she was walking home, she started realizing why. He did claim that he’s a lust demon, an incubus. That means it was his sin, right? So he must be really a horny demon. But what else can he do during sex? Does he have an intense stamina that could kill her? Can he shapeshift? Maybe grow a tentacles or grow his cock bigger? She lightly giggled at the thought. Why is she getting excited all of a sudden? This is dangerous. She’s getting very wet at the thought.
Before she could put the key to the doorknob, the door opened. She expected Yu to greet her and Uta, being the cooler among the twins, would just be munching something while staring at the television. But to her surprise, Yuta opened the door without any clothes on. Immediately, she came in the door and closed it behind her. “Are you crazy?” She asked, “What if the neighbors see you?”
“I could smell you coming.”
He pulled the girl closer, letting her fingers trail on his broad shoulder. “And the kids?”
Yuta placed a wet kiss on her neck, “I sent them far away to do something.” The girl giggled which was replaced by a small squeal when the man scooped her up in his arms. “I hope you’re ready for me.” Y/N grinned. She’s more than ready for him.
He took his time kissing her lips, tongue slipping past her lips and into her mouth. Y/N could only moan at that. His tongue game was so amazing that she could easily imagine herself in an intense orgasm if he eats her out. His fingers slowly undo the button of her blouse, kissing the skin getting exposed. Losing her patience, she discarded her bra while he left supple kiss marks on her abdomen.
Yuta’s lips were quickly on her exposed breast, kissing the underside before sucking the nipple. His tongue played with the little nub as his fingers rubbed the other. Thread of curses and moans kept coming out of her lips. “Oh My God, Yuta.” She could feel him chuckling at that.
Y/N had to grab his hair, raising his head to look at her. “Please, put it inside me.” He gave her a smile. A warm smile that made her swoon. God, he is so attractive. She might just orgasm if she keeps staring at him.
Yuta pushed up her skirt and pulled down her underwear. Licking his lips at the sight of her wetness. He held his cock, lightly rubbing the tip on her pussy lips that made Y/N raise her hip. The guy’s chuckle can be heard before he pushes himself into her. The girl screamed, fingers digging into Yuta’s back at how big he was. Fuck, he’s filling her up. And when Yuta placed a pillow under her hips, she could see the outline of his cock on her abdomen.
It was a surreal feeling. It felt foreign yet familiar at the same time. Maybe Y/N is getting crazy. Too cock crazy. She had never had a cock this good. And she knew it would be hard to find another, specifically a human, who would fuck her up this good. His thrusts were hard, deep, and rhythmic at a pace that made her lose her mind. She can even feel his balls hitting her ass cheeks. Yuta is too good at this. It’s making her crazy.
She had never cummed that much in her life. Even her vivid dreams weren’t as good as the real thing. The sheets were wet because of her sweat and juice but she refused to move, her body feeling so sore from the intense sex she just received.
That was really amazing. He’s undoubtedly a lust demon.
But how real are demons? Isn’t that just something that the religious people made up to distinguish good from evil? And how evil could they be?
“Yuta,” she called while lying next to him in bed. Y/N knew that she shouldn’t be doing this pillow talk with him but they’re not even cuddling. It’s just pure lust between them, no strings attached. Yet she needed some answers. The man hummed, facing to look at her. She rolled on her stomach, “You said I’ll be in danger if I disappear from your sight because the demons will come for me, right?” The man nonchalantly nodded. “Is there any way to stop that?”
She could feel Yuta stiffen at that question. Did he not expect that? But that isn’t the normal conversation one has after intense sex. From his reaction, she gathered that there must be something that could stop this. “What is it?” she asked, gently rising from the bed to fully look at him. “Can I do something?”
“A contract.” She raised an eyebrow at that. What contract? “A binding contract between a demon and human.” Y/N sat up to signal that she was interested which made Yuta hiss in annoyance. “You should understand that the contract would chain us to each other. So no, Y/N.”
“What?” The girl asked in confusion. “But it was you who brought the contract up and it doesn’t seem that hard.”
Y/N rolled her eyes at his lack of response. “Besides, I’m not that possessive. Even if we’re chained to each other, I’ll still let you wander alone.” Yuta visibly stiffened at those words that confused her. Maybe it was a touchy subject for him. She should probably stop.
“I don’t trust your words,” Yuta whispered.
Y/N huffed at that. “I’m not a perfect person but I’m also not an evil person. Why don’t you believe me?” She revolted. “Why don’t you want to do the binding contract with me? Tell me what is wrong with me?”
Yuta had to roll over to face her body, parting her legs that confused her. “Nothing, Y/N,” he claimed before placing a soft kiss on her pussy lips. “But I won’t do it with you.”
The girl had to cover her mouth to prevent the scream coming out of her lips when he pushed a tongue between her moist pussy folds. The neighbors had already obviously heard her voice, they didn't need to know that they weren’t done with the sexual action yet. “Yuta,” she moaned. “Have you ever been in a contract with someone before?” He only answered with a flick of the tongue in her most sensitive spot.
“You’re a poison, Yuta. I shouldn’t have trusted you.” The female voice shouted, making the demon’s heart bleed. “For my last wish, let me go."
"Let me leave this world.”
He shouldn’t have trusted her words. He shouldn’t have believed that she wasn’t an evil person. What has she done to her?
A binding contract has its pros and cons. True, he can save the person he cares for. But a loose chain is still a chain. And chains tend to hurt in the long run. A terribly twisted love’s prison.
“Twins?” Yuta called, towering above two little cages to look for both Yu and Uta. It confused him that they weren't here. This is the only place they could go. A safe place for his little devils. Not too hot and not too cold for their comfort.
He had always thought that hell was always so burning hot, tormenting people who came here. Evil people. He had always stayed here all his life so he wouldn’t know the difference.
The only coldness in this scorching world was the cage he was locked in for years. The cuffs were stone cold against his skin, exhausting all his energy. As he brushed his fingers on the steel bars, he smiled to himself.
He remembered tiring himself the first few months. “I’m not a criminal!” he shouted. “Set me free!” A statement he knew wasn’t true. He is a criminal and he deserves to be in this prison, bound with chains. He is a dangerous man.
And he might be doing it again.
He started walking some more, spotting the two winged little devils with someone very familiar. He wished he would never bump into him again. Hell is a huge place for the two of them to see each other. But as he called for the twins’ attention, he turned to him as well. Uta called him ‘Dad’ while running to grab his arm in fright. It’s been years and the twins have grown up yet they exhibit the same terrifying expression when faced by him.
“Dad?” He repeated in his booming voice, looking in confusion at the man who only raised an eyebrow. Yu muttered an apology, pulling his sister behind Yuta. “You’re playing house in the human world? You should have known better.”
Yuta had to turn around, “Let’s go, kids.” He mumbled before stopping at what the old man said,
“Don’t kill another human again, Yuta.”
VI. GOODBYE
“Let me go!” Yuta kept shouting which made Y/N look at him in surprise. His eyes were closed shut, sweat beads forming on his eyebrows. Was he dreaming? “Let me go!”
The girl had to shake him aggressively to wake him up from his deep sleep. “Yuta, are you alright?” She asked once assured that he had regained consciousness. Y/N started wiping his forehead with the blanket to dry off his sweat. “You’re having a bad dream.”
But Y/N was startled when he pulled her closer, hugging her body. His breathing was harsh against her skin, tightly holding onto her with shaking fingers. He might be scared. But what was the dream about? Why does he keep shouting to let him go? The girl threaded her fingers on his hair, hushing him up. Her other hand rubbed his back in a calming manner.
She was relieved that he got calmer over the simple action.
But what is wrong with him?
Even in the morning, he was just quietly staring at the two kids who were huddled on the table while watching a caterpillar they got outside. “It looks ugly,” Uta claimed, which made the older girl laugh, handing them the small container filled with twigs and leaves where they could keep the caterpillar. “It looks like Yu’s horns.”
The older boy glared at his sister. “But when a caterpillar grows up, it will be a very pretty butterfly.” The older girl explained, picking up the caterpillar and placing it inside the container.
“Will it grow wings?” Y/N nodded at the younger girl. “Like our wings?”
Yu shook his head, “Different wings. Prettier than yours.” Uta pouted with a huff, making the older laugh at her cuteness. Her eyes gazed at Yuta who was just looking at them with a stoic face. Was he not amused at how cute Yu and Uta are? Or was it because of his dream earlier? Should she ask about it?
Since it was her day off and she needed to buy a gift for her co-worker’s daughter, she asked the three to come with her to the mall. She had gotten her pay the day before and could buy something for the three of them. Maybe a new sunglass for Yu, a pretty ribbon for Uta, and a tank top for Yuta. He had been wearing sleeved shirts lately and she was annoyed, she loved seeing his exposed arms around the house. Those thick arms that she loved to claw on. Y/N stared at his arms before gazing at his face. To her surprise, Yuta had been looking straight at her.
Oh shit. The arousal. He could smell her.
In the end, Y/N cannot force Yuta to come out and the kids promise the older man that they’ll behave in the mall. She was giggling to himself at how he looked like a dad scolding his kids. Yu and Uta are so hyperactive outside that she’s already tired the moment they step foot inside the mall. The two kept on buying different kinds of stuff: shirts, shoes, and dresses. Luckily, Yuta had given her a card to spend on the kids.
Where did he get all the money? But then Yu was the one who explained that Yuta was the son of a higher demon, like an heir in a human world. So when the three decided to stay in the human world, his assets in hell became assets in the human world. “So Yuta is rich?” She innocently asked.
“Super rich,” Uta claimed, biting on her fried chicken.
Y/N was astounded at that fact. He’s handsome and he’s rich? She cannot deny that he’s also hot and so great in bed. “Is he still single?” The question came out before she could even process it in her mind. That was so wrong to ask. But she’s so curious. Yu gave her a knowing smile but she shook her head, wanting to tell him that what he was thinking was wrong. But that would be so defensive of her.
“The first time we met Master Yuta, he was heartbroken from his first love.” Uta shared. Y/N’s ears perked up at that. First love? “He was caged by his father for killing that person.” She gasped in surprise. Maybe that’s why he was saying those words in his dream. But Yuta killed his first love?
Yu hissed at his sister for talking too much. “But master claims that it wasn’t his doing.” He shared calmly, “Killing a human is a grave sin in hell and the other demons believe that Master is the only one who could do it.”
That was heartbreaking. But Y/N doesn’t know Yuta enough to judge him. She saw him kill twice but those were all demons and he promised that he’d save her, even if he lived or died. Surely, Yuta cannot kill a human. Especially a person he once loved. “Yu, can you erase his memory of his first love?” The younger boy shook his head, claiming that he could not erase a demon’s memory.
Y/N nodded. If Yu or Uta cannot, then she should help him. But how could she do that? How could she stop the nightmares when he obviously can’t move on from his life in hell? How could one measly human help a somewhat higher demon? “Do you think I could do something to help him?”
Uta nodded but Yu glared at her. At her prodding, the younger girl answered. “Help him regain his powers so he can turn back time. That was his goal.”
“Regain his powers?” They did mention it before. “How can I help regain his powers?” The two kids shrugged, busy eating their meal. Should she ask Yuta instead? Is it a demon thing? “Then, how do the two of you regain your powers?”
“Eating,” they muttered in unison which made her smile. Obviously. Yuta calls them gluttonous demons so maybe that’s why. Should she cook for Yuta to regain his power?
Y/N had to cover her mouth at the sudden realization. Yuta is a lust demon. He cannot regain power just by a simple meal. He needed sex.
She shook her head to divert her attention as Uta looked at her in worry. “Then how did the two of you end up in the demon world?”
The girl dropped her fork and she wanted to quickly apologize for asking something so insensitive. “We both light our house on fire, killing us and our family.” That’s so familiar and tragic. “Master explained that we killed ourselves, that's why we’re in hell, a grave sin like his.” Yu continued.
Y/N held the top of Uta’s head. “I think the two of you are great kids.” She claimed then smiled at the younger girl. “If ever I get married and have kids, I hope they’re as lovely and clever as the two of you.” She continued, even staring at Yu who looked shy at what she was saying. “I bet your parents are very proud of the two of you.”
“Your parents are also proud of you, unnie,” Uta claimed, which confused her. “We met them in the demon world.”
“We’re home!” Uta shouted, bursting to the door and then showing off her pink glittery bow. Yu helped put down the paper bags on the couch as Y/N went straight to the kitchen while chuckling at the younger girl’s cute antics. Yu showed his new sunglasses making Yuta hiss. They spend all his money on these useless things? They’re such kids.
Yuta carefully glanced at the different paper bags full of fabric and accessories. “Did you say thank you to Y/N?” The two kids nodded while taking out toys from one paper bag. He shook his head, such kids. The guy had to bite his bottom lip, smelling a very familiar scent coming from the kitchen. What is she doing?
Y/N was standing by the stove as he wrapped his arms around her waist, “Smells good.”
“I’m heating the pasta we bought…”
“I meant you,” His hand that was resting on her stomach trailed to her breast, grabbing one boob from the material of her blouse. “Why are you so aroused? I can smell you.” He pulled her closer, kissing the side of her neck.
Small giggles came out of her lips, “I’m not the only aroused one.” She teased before rubbing her ass on his bulge. Yuta laughed at that action. Y/N turned around to face him after turning off the stove. “Do you want to try something new, Yuta?”
Something new? His eyebrow raised at that. The girl started tying her tail to a ponytail, licking her lips in the process. Yuta lightly chuckled when she started kneeling on the floor. A blowjob? Did someone replace Y/N in the store? What is happening to her? Her fingers were undoing the zipper of his pants when he claimed, “Right now? With the kids outside?”
The girl grinned. “Look at you being a dad,” she teased before gazing at him with lust-hooded eyes. “Daddy.”
“Yu! Uta!” Yuta shouted. “Could the two of you deliver a message?”
If Yuta thought hell was full of chaos, the demons should attend a kid’s birthday party. Kids were all running, high-pitched squeals and laugh echoed throughout the whole venue. It's utterly chaos.
All the moms were staring at him, whispering things to other moms. He doesn’t know what it was but he had been called a lot of distasteful names before so their words wouldn’t have to bother him. But when they started talking to Y/N, laughing with her while pointing at him, Yuta felt curious. It was like they were watching his every move and for them to not suspect something, he was attentive to the twins. They kept on running around, playing with the human kids as if they weren’t demons. They looked so fascinated at the clown’s magic tricks and when the bubble show came, they kept squealing in delight.
Yuta had to smile at that. At least they had the experience of being kids in the human world. “He’s so attractive,” he overheard one of the moms say to her husband. He remembered her as one of Y/N’s co-workers in the diner. Was she talking about him? “He takes care of his kids so well.” Wait, was he doing too much? “No wonder Y/N looks so happy lately.”
His gaze fell on the girl seated on the floor and taking pictures of the twins inside the huge bubble. “They already look like a small family.” Yuta smiled. That wasn’t a bad thought.
After the bubble show, came desserts. Yu was careful about eating too much but Uta kept on coming the second time to the cake table, even taking a huge piece. “You should stop, Uta.” Yuta reprimanded, making the young girl pout. “Your dress will pop off if you eat another bite.” Y/N had to take the discarded plate filled with cake and hand it to the younger girl who went running to her brother. “Y/N!”
“You cannot stop a girl from eating, Yuta.” She claimed, “Besides, Uta is still cute even if she eats too much.”
“She’s my daughter.” A gasp can be heard nearby from a mom overhearing their conversation.
The girl rolled her eyes at that. “I know. But that is my baby girl,” Yuta smirked. That’s her revolt? “You cannot tell my baby what she can’t or can eat.” She claimed before taking another slice of cake, “Even Yu.” She claimed before feeding him a piece of cake and walking away.
Yuta could only laugh in disbelief, wiping his lips to remove the icing. Are they playing bad cop, good cop now? Yeah, he’ll be the bad parent. He’s a demon, for crying out loud. That’s his nature. And obviously, that is exactly the reason why Yu and Uta like her so much. She's always the good parent. Spoiling them with everything.
The two of them as parents? Yuta timidly smiled at the thought before shaking his head. What the heck is this light, mushy feeling creeping into his body? “She makes you weak?” The mom eavesdropping on them asked that confused Yuta. “You shouldn’t let go of a girl that loves your children like that.” She had a knowing smile on her face as she stared at Y/N talking to the two kids while eating cake. “You should never let Y/N go.”
Yuta shouldn’t. Even if he had encountered these things before, he knew Y/N had shown him a very different feeling. He had always thought hell was the hottest place in existence but why does he feel warmer in her arms? And these mushy feelings? Why would his heart beat so much whenever he sees Y/N smile? She makes him weak and strong at the same time. It’s crazy.
Yuta might be crazy.
Has he finally moved on? Is this not a mistake if he pursued it further? Should he ask her once again to have a binding contract with her? Because right now, he’s sure that he would be willing and more than happy to be chained to her if it meant staying with her.
“Oh, the father of the birthday girl is here!” The clown claimed making all the kids look at the man coming into the party venue carrying a huge dollhouse.
The sound of broken plates echoed throughout the place but Yuta’s gaze didn’t leave the man who was now looking at him, as well as all the guests. Y/N was quick to stand up, looking at him with worry but the other man was quicker on his feet to land a punch on Yuta’s face. “You!” he shouted, face filled with rage. “I’m going to kill you, motherfucker!”
Yuta didn’t make a move and let the man take blows on his face. Anything to ease his anger. He could feel some people stopping the man repeatedly punching him and kids crying at how scary the scene was. Some mothers also gasped calling for Y/N’s name and from his bleeding eye, Yuta saw Y/N seated on top of the broken plates he had created.
Once again, Yuta reminded himself that this will be a huge mistake. He really shouldn’t pursue this much longer.
Yuta kept on hissing as Y/N put medicine on the cuts on his face. Since Uta cannot heal him, he let the older girl tend to his wounds. He cannot go to the hospital. He doesn’t really deserve it. The man should have killed him and he would easily let him.
An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A life for a life.
He lightly glanced at Y/N’s palm, “Aren’t you hurt as well?”
She lightly glanced at the faint white lines across her palm. “Uta did her best to heal me and Yu had to erase everyone’s memory.” She shared in a soft voice, “They said they’ll go back to hell to rest for a while.” Yuta nodded. He could also do that. “Was he related to your first love?”
Yuta had to look her straight in the eye. How did she know that? “The twins told you?”
“I asked them. So please don’t be mad at them.” He hissed, closing his eyes at that. “Did you really kill her?” The way she said those words was so calculated, so quiet. As if she was scared. Of him? Of the fact that he killed someone? He wasn’t entirely sure.
“I did.” The shift in her eyes broke Yuta. “That was her final wish, to leave the world.”
She stared at him in confusion. How much did the twins tell her? “Final wish?”
“From the binding contract,” he started. “She was my human and I’m bound to her.” Even saying those words felt like thorns digging into Yuta’s heart. “I became too obsessed with her, too possessive, that she grew mad.”
“Her last wish was to end her life and I have to make it happen as her demon.”
Y/N’s eyes softened at that. Now that she heard it straight from Yuta, she realized that it wasn't all that bad. He had to do what he promised to do. Is this the reason why he was locked in hell? The grave sin he committed to the demon world?
He’s just a man who fell in love. That’s the risk someone has to take whenever they fall in love. Ain’t no joy, ain’t no torment.
His dark brown eyes bore through hers, making her hitch a breath. “And I’m almost making the same mistake the second time.”
Her eyes widened at those words. She was thinking the same thing as he was thinking right? “Then Yuta, let’s do the binding contract…”
“No, Y/N.”
It was a strong no. But Y/N isn’t even disheartened. She could always ask him again and maybe he could crack and say yes. There’s always a flaw in every contract and she just needed to look for it so she could help Yuta be free from the memory of his first love. So he wouldn’t have a chance to make the same mistake to her.
She stretched her arms seeing the two kids snoring on both sides of the bed. When she glanced at the far end, Yuta was nowhere in sight. The house sounds so quiet. Was he away? Maybe he came back to their world. It had been an exhausting feat for him, she completely understood why he would go out. Maybe she should cook for the kids and regain their powers. Maybe she should think of horny thoughts so Yuta could come back quickly.
As she stepped outside the room, she saw a piece of paper on top of the table. That’s odd. Yuta doesn’t leave notes when he’s going out. But as she read the letters scribbled on the paper, her tears fell from her eyes. She had to read the same sentences repeatedly for it to make sense.
I didn’t know I would feel this way again.
It’s because I love you that I say this,
Eternally, goodbye.
Yuta didn’t just go out. He already left.
VII. BUTTERFLY
It must be a dream.
A crazy dream.
She didn’t even know what reality was from a dream. As she stared at the cocoon inside the container, she wanted to believe that everything was real - that she met two adorable kids, Yu and Uta. Yet whenever she would share that fact with her co-workers, they would just make her crazy by claiming that they had never seen her with two kids before. Even at the party, she was alone and nothing scandalous happened.
Then, they might not be real.
It must be the medicine making her crazy like this. Should she stop taking it? Should she continue taking it? But as she tried to swallow one pill, she felt something kicking in her stomach.
It’s been days, turned into weeks that this strange phenomenon happened to her. Something kept on kicking inside her, giving sharp pain to her abdomen. Some of her female co-workers told her to get it checked but her male co-workers beg to differ. “You’ve been non-stop talking about twins and something is in your stomach,” they would narrate, “Maybe you’re pregnant, Y/N.”
That isn’t plausible. The female doctor asked her the last time she had some sexual activity and she just didn’t know what to say. Are all those vivid horny dreams real? Was that gorgeous demon named Yuta even real? She ruled out the idea of her being pregnant and suggested eating full healthy meals and to stop stressing herself out.
Maybe that was it. She can’t possibly be pregnant. That would be crazy.
But then, everything in her life had gone crazy.
Cold seasons meant Christmas was coming soon. She quit her gasoline station gig, mainly because of her co-worker's worried advice that she lives alone and being outside late at night would be very dangerous for her. On her days off, a friend from the said gasoline gig would always ask her to come out at Christmas fairs and just buy gifts and trinkets. Y/N would always pout, there was no one she could give gifts to except her co-workers who had everything they needed.
At one stall, her eyes focused on gray sunglasses with sparkling stones on the frame. Uta would really love that. On another stall selling ponytails, she saw a pastel pink that would look really good on Uta’s twin pigtails. Then there are different colored female tank tops that would look so sexy on Yuta’s body.
A small chuckle escaped her lips.
She’s indeed a crazy woman.
As she was walking around, she spotted a picture of a horned creature on one of the tents. Demons should look like that, right? Not cute, not lovable, not handsome. Maybe she had really gone mad thinking that she had met demons. The tent had different colored trinkets, fairy lights illuminated the outline of the small slit of an entrance. On the side says ‘Psychic’ which made her smile. Who would even believe in these things? The woman inside spotted her and welcomed her with a smile on her face. “How are you, Y/N?” The girl’s eyes widened in surprise. How did she know her name? “Were you living alright? Do you honestly think everything is just a dream?”
Maybe it was her strategy but how did she find out her name? She only gave the girl a warm smile as she sat down in front of her, “I should be careful with my words or they would come after me.” She started that confused her. What? The psychic, a middle-aged woman, started telling her about her life, That she was adopted after her birth mother died while giving birth to her. That she lived a mostly lavish life but gambling ended everything. Y/N’s mind was mind-blown. How does she know so much? “Your parents are great people, my dear child.”
“My parents?”
“I know you blame them for their death but it was inevitable. It doesn’t mean that they didn’t love you. They said goodbye because they love you so much.” The older woman smiled, “Even that man.”
It’s because I love you that I say this, eternally, goodbye.
The wonder was laced with confusion at her words. How did she know so much about her life? Is she being her crazy self again? “Be careful of wings, dear Y/N.” Wings? “This will bring you to those looking after you.”
Instead of clarity, she only got confusion. Why did she even enter that tent? Who the hell would even believe a so-called psychic who kept on spouting nonsense? Only a crazy person would.
And she’s a crazy person.
Some of her co-workers invited her for their family Christmas party but Y/N remained at home, watching television and eating leftover pizza. She kept on watching the little cocoon inside the container but it was a boring activity. Nothing much is happening.
Before the New Year came, a male co-worker asked her to hike a mountain with his friends. The sharp stinging pain in her abdomen doesn’t hinder her from walking to the slippery trail. She’s willing to forget everything about this change of the year. To move on with her life with the image of the sunrise.
She’ll start thinking of herself more.
Even in the dark, her sense of sight was heightened. The males in the group started setting up the tent and she was just standing by the edge, taking in the landscape in front of her. In just a few hours, the sunrise will come and everything will be illuminated with its beauty.
She’ll finally forget about them: Yu, Uta, and especially Yuta.
A small fluttering wing came into her sight. The little butterfly flew in front of her as if asking for her attention. Its wings had a shade of gray and pink, a lovely combination. Will that little cocoon in her home reveal a butterfly this pretty? She tried to reach for the small creature, eager to feel it on her fingertips. But she took a wrong step and felt a cold breeze.
She could only hear the collective sounds of her name being called and saw the butterfly fluttering its wings to land on her nose. She finally felt its wings.
Be careful of wings, dear Y/N. Wings? Butterflies have wings. Yu and Uta have wings. Yuta has wings. This will bring you back to those looking after you. Then this will be her death, isn’t it?
She felt the impact of the water behind her before the feeling of falling. Funny she was already falling from the cliff earlier yet she could only feel that sensation now that she was in the water. She knew how to swim and could easily make her way to the shore but she lost all will to survive. Isn’t this better? Isn’t this what she wanted all along?
Y/N closed her eyes letting the water engulf her.
A red light made her open her eyes. An image of two small creatures coming to her, swimming to reach her, blocking the red light. She doesn’t want to be saved now. Yet, when they reached her, she was startled that they were very familiar. Yu and Uta.
Uta was coughing, complaining that she had never swam that deep before. Y/N had to apologize before seeing herself lying on the rocky shore. That is her lifeless body, right? Then why is she watching over herself? “Am I dead?”
Yu shook his head. “You’re in the middle,” He explained which confused her. Middle? “You have two options: to remain living in the human world or go up.” Both Yu and Uta looked up as if stressing that option.
“Go up?” she asked. “Up where?”
“To heaven and be an angel,” Uta claimed. Was she allowed to say those words?
And her? An angel? Maybe these two are the crazy ones. “But I don’t deserve to go there and be an angel.”
“Dad thinks you are one.” Uta started before Yu continued, “He even calls you his angel.”
That sentence seemed to shut you down. You knew the dad they were talking about. But why? Really, an angel? Maybe Yuta was the crazy one.
The older twin showed his dark pitchfork, “If you take this, your soul will return to your body and you could keep continue living in the human world.” The younger twin revealed her bright pink pitchfork, “If you take Uta’s, you’ll go to heaven and be an angel.”
But none of the choices even enticed her. Going back to her life feels like hell and going to heaven means she won’t be seeing them again. She wanted to go where they were. Wanted to be where Yuta is. But how?
Then it hit her. Conversations about people in the demon world came to her like a wave. The way Yu and Uta were brought to hell. How her parents were in hell based on the twins. How Yuta was caged in that place all this time.
She had probably gone crazy.
In a desperate attempt, she took both pitchforks that startled the young devils. Quickly, she struck her lifeless body’s chest, digging the pitchforks so deep that blood started seeping into her drenched clothes. “I wish to be with Yuta in hell.”
Then everything went black.
Y/N opened her eyes in a blinding red light. It feels so hot that she’s almost sweating hard. And when she glanced at where she was lying, it was covered with something red. Rose petals. A bed of roses? Everything was red. Surely this wouldn’t be heaven. The closest that it could be would be a brothel. Then is she back to her own body? But why a brothel?
The wide doors opened, cold breeze started coming in that made her shiver. What the hell even is this place?
Then it struck her.
Hell.
A shadow of a tall man, in a long coat with huge dark wings, was walking to her. The smell of musk filled the air. “What the hell, Y/N?” he shouted, staring at her in fury.
She knew it before he could even speak but why is he hotter in hell? Is she really in hell right now? A smirk left her lips, “I think what you wanted to say was welcome to hell.” she claimed, staring straight at him. “And nice to see you again, Yuta.”
The man chuckled in disbelief, sitting beside her on the bed. Her instinct was to touch his feathered wings. They’re so soft and warm. “You’re crazy. Do you know that?”
She rolled her eyes at that. “I know. I know.” Then squinted her eyes at him, “You’ve been playing with my mind all these times. I’m not even surprised I’ll get crazy.”
Yuta smiled timidly. “You do realize you’re now stuck in hell with me, right?”
Y/N nodded. She realized that when he came to the door. But why? “How?” Yu and Uta just gave her two options. And killing herself doesn’t guarantee a spot in hell. How did she manage to come to this place?
“Because of your final wish.”
Final wish? That she stayed with Yuta in hell? But Y/N only heard that with the topic of the binding contract. “We’re not in a binding…”
“We are,” he claimed, surprising her. “I put a bead inside you so the demons wouldn’t smell you even if I’m away.” A bead? Unconsciously, she touched her abdomen. The kicking inside her. That was the bead. The stinging pain whenever she would talk to guys. That was the bead. The bead Yuta put inside her. A binding contract. His chain on her.
The girl squinted her eyes at him. Now it all makes sense. “Possessive freak.”
Yuta was just laughing, a hearty laugh that made her stare. She isn’t fazed by the fact that Yuta is here in front of her, she’s more astounded at the fact that he is real. That everything was real. “You’ll have to adjust well living here in hell, can you take it Y/N?” Glancing around, she could say that hell isn’t that bad. The demon world is even better than the human world. “You’re going to stay with me, can you do that Y/N?”
“And the twins?” Yuta had to groan, claiming that she liked them so much it was annoying. “Well, I do love them more than I love you.”
“You love me?” he raised an eyebrow.
Y/N laughed wholeheartedly, standing up from the bed. “I went to hell for you, stupid.” Before she could move away from him, Yuta had pulled her back into his arms. His wings wrapped around her. She knew hell was hot but the way his arms and his wings wrapped around her made her feel so warm. “Besides, hell smells so good.” The guy looked surprised, inquiring her what it was. “It smells musky, a manly man smell.” Yuta had a confused look on his face which made her giggle. “You’re emitting that scent now.” She leaned in to sniff his neck as his fingers dug on her waist. “It smells so good.”
The guy had to laugh at that. A musky scent? Right now? “Y/N,” he called which made her hum, “You haven't been here for long and I already knew what kind of a demon you are.” The girl gave him a puzzled look. “And I’m glad we’re the same kind of demon.” He licked his lips at the realization in her face. “Shall we start regaining our powers together?”
Before she could speak, Yuta had pushed her to bed making her squeal in surprise.
EPILOGUE: DEPTH
Hell had always been hell.
A hot place full of agony. An evil place full of torment.
There’s no joy without torment. But there’s no torment without joy.
Yuta had never thought that the place he despised the most would be the place where he’d be the happiest.
All because of this human girl who chose to be with him.
Uta was the one who said that her ‘mom’ was in the receiving room with her parents. Yu even reported that they had a long talk with Y/N apologizing and thanking them a lot. He wished he was there to at least hold her hand and stop her from crying. But Yuta promised that he wouldn’t meddle in her affairs the same way she didn’t meddle in his.
Because of her egging and warm attitude, Yuta had a chance to talk to his father. He cleared his name, explaining that it wasn’t his fault that a human died. The greater demon apologized to him for the years he had made him a prisoner. He even warmed up to the twins, even calling them his grandkids and promising the two to give them more powers as their grandfather.
Yuta was just flabbergasted. Who’s playing house now?
He opened the huge doors of the receiving area, Y/N staring at him in surprise as she stood by the huge windows. “My angel,” he called making her parents giggle. They excused themselves to leave and when they closed the door, Yuta wrapped his arms on the girl’s waist. “I miss you, angel.”
“I told you not to call me that,” But Yuta only pouted. “Besides, it hasn’t been that long since we last saw each other.”
Yuta kissed her neck, “But I’m getting powerless.” She hissed at that. “I need to regain my strength.”
“Having a lust demon as a husband is so hard.”
“You’re a lust demon yourself.” he revolted. “We’ll be quick,” he started carrying her to the ledge of the window, parting her legs to move closer to her. “And I can smell that you also need this.”
Before he could lean in to kiss her, the doors opened with a loud thud. “Mommy!” Uta called. Yuta leaned his head on Y/N’s shoulder, hissing at the cockblocker. “I’m hungry.”
“You promised to cook a meal for us. We missed your burger patties.” Yu claimed as the older girl stood up, instructing the two to wait for her in the kitchen.
Yuta had a defeated look on his face. Should he ship those two little devils somewhere far away? Maybe he can have a moment with his wife alone. “I’ll be quick,” she claimed, kissing Yuta’s cheeks. “When I get back I’ll prepare your most favorite meal.”
“And what is that?”
“Me, of course.”
His laugh echoed through the whole room making the girl giggle. “I hate to say this but you adapted in this place very well.” Y/N had to giggle, kissing his other cheek. The two kids called for her, shouting mommy which made Yuta laugh. “Hurry up and go to your kids. I’ll wait for you in our room, mommy.”
“Be ready for me, daddy.” She claimed with a wink.
“Sure thing, angel.”
“Don’t call me that!” she shouted from outside making Yuta laugh.
Maybe there’s still hope for him.
Hell wasn’t that bad, actually.
Hell is such a good place. Hell is such a great place.
Especially with her.

The Little Devil’s Angel
devil!wooyoung x angel!reader
Summary: A mischievous little devil falls for an angel, leading to a love that transcends the boundaries of realms.
Word Count: 1,2k
Genre: au, angst, romance
Warnings: mc gets tortured
In the shadowed recesses of the underworld, Wooyoung thrived as a mischievous little devil, his antics often drawing the amused, if not exasperated, gaze of Lucifer. His days were spent causing minor chaos, but he harbored no true malice. It was in his nature to stir trouble, but deep within, a flicker of innocence lingered—a spark that made him different from the other devils.
One day, while roaming the borders between the underworld and the celestial realms, Wooyoung caught sight of a figure that took his breath away. Y/N, an angel of unparalleled beauty, with wings so radiant and majestic that they seemed to capture the very essence of the heavens. Her feathers shimmered with an ethereal glow, each one a masterpiece of divine craftsmanship. Wooyoung found himself entranced, his usually mischievous thoughts turning pure and innocent. He wished he could be something as insignificant as a single feather on her wings, just to be close to her beauty, even for a day.
This yearning did not go unnoticed. Lucifer, ever perceptive, sensed the change in Wooyoung and summoned him. "What is this foolishness I hear?" Lucifer's voice boomed, filled with disdain. "You, a devil, longing to be part of an angel's wings?"
Wooyoung, his usual defiance tempered by a rare vulnerability, knelt before Lucifer. "I... I can't help it. Her wings, they are so beautiful. I wish I could be a part of that beauty, even if just for a day."
Lucifer's eyes narrowed, his anger palpable. "Such weakness," he spat. "You dare to dream of something so pure? So insignificant? You will learn the price of such folly."
With a wave of his hand, Lucifer summoned Y/N from the celestial realm, her radiant wings now marred by fear and confusion. Wooyoung's heart plummeted as he realized what Lucifer intended. "No! Please, not her!"
Lucifer's cruel smile widened as he grasped one of Y/N's feathers and ripped it out, causing her to cry out in pain. Wooyoung's knees hit the ground as he crawled towards them, tears streaming down his face. "Stop! Please, Lucifer, I beg you! Hurt me, not her! She's done nothing wrong!"
But Lucifer was relentless, pulling out feather after feather, each one a dagger to Wooyoung's heart. The little devil's cries grew more desperate, his pleas echoing through the underworld. "I will do anything! Just stop hurting her! Please!"
Y/N's pain-filled eyes met Wooyoung's, and for a moment, time seemed to freeze. Despite the agony, there was no hatred in her gaze, only a sad understanding. Wooyoung's cries became incoherent sobs as he reached for her, his fingers trembling.
Lucifer paused, his gaze shifting from the broken feathers to the broken devil. "Let this be a lesson," he said coldly. "Desire leads to suffering, and weakness has no place in my realm."
With a final, contemptuous look, Lucifer vanished, leaving Y/N and Wooyoung alone in the silence that followed. Wooyoung crawled to her side, his hands shaking as he gently touched the remnants of her wings. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice choked with sorrow. "I never meant for this to happen."
Y/N, despite her pain, managed a weak smile. "You have a kind heart, little devil," she said softly. "Perhaps there is hope for you yet."
Wooyoung helped her to her feet, his resolve hardening. He knew he had to find a way to make amends, to restore her wings, and to protect her from further harm. In that moment, his mischief was replaced by a newfound purpose, and he vowed to fight for the angel who had shown him the true meaning of beauty and kindness.
After that fateful day, Wooyoung dedicated himself to helping Y/N recover. With unwavering determination, he gathered the scattered feathers and found ways to heal her wounds, his every thought consumed by her well-being. Once she was strong enough, he escorted her back to the celestial realm, his heart heavy with the knowledge that he might never see her again.
For a long time, Wooyoung avoided the borders between their worlds, the memory of Y/N's suffering haunting him. His mischievous nature was subdued, replaced by a deep longing and a constant ache. The little devil found no joy in his old antics; his thoughts were never empty of Y/N, the angel whose beauty and kindness had captivated his heart.
Every day, Wooyoung replayed their brief time together in his mind, his heart swelling with a mix of love and regret. He feared that approaching the borders again would put Y/N in danger, and he couldn't bear the thought of her getting hurt because of him.
One day, while wandering the depths of the underworld, Wooyoung felt a familiar, gentle presence. His heart raced as he turned around to see Y/N standing before him, her wings healed and more beautiful than ever. She smiled softly, but Wooyoung's joy was quickly overshadowed by fear.
"Y/N, you shouldn't be here," he pleaded, his voice trembling. "It's too dangerous. If Lucifer finds out, he might hurt you again."
Y/N stepped closer, her eyes filled with determination. "I couldn't get you out of my head, Wooyoung. I had to see you. You've been on my mind every day since you brought me back."
Wooyoung's knees buckled, and he sank to the ground, tears welling up in his eyes. "Please, Y/N, you have to leave. I can't bear to see you hurt again. I would rather never see you than put you in danger."
But Y/N knelt beside him, gently lifting his chin so their eyes met. "I understand the risk, Wooyoung, but I also know that I can't ignore my heart. You saved me, and I see the goodness in you. I won't let fear keep us apart."
Wooyoung's resolve wavered as he gazed into her eyes, filled with such compassion and strength. "But if Lucifer—"
"Then we will face him together," Y/N interrupted softly. "I believe in you, Wooyoung. And I believe that love is stronger than any power Lucifer holds."
Wooyoung's heart ached with a mix of love and fear, but Y/N's words gave him a glimmer of hope. He took a deep breath, his hands trembling as he reached out to gently touch her wings. "I don't deserve you, Y/N."
She smiled warmly, leaning into his touch. "You deserve happiness, Wooyoung. And I want to share that happiness with you."
In that moment, Wooyoung's fears began to melt away, replaced by a renewed sense of purpose. He knew the path ahead would be fraught with danger, but with Y/N by his side, he felt stronger than ever. Together, they would face whatever challenges came their way, their love a beacon of light in the darkness of the underworld.
And so, the little devil and the angel, bound by a love that transcended the boundaries of their worlds, began a new journey together, determined to defy the odds and protect the bond they had forged.

@red-dead-sakharine requested 8 INT Tav who mistakenly calls Raphael a tiefling.
Raphael/Tav (GN): The Devil You TRULY Don't Know
Finally, the last piece of his grand design. The fulcrum, his piece de resistance, upon which so much hung. Scanning them for the hundredth time, Raphael cannot shake the sense of delicious irony: a child of Asmodeus, one of his blasted tieflings, will deliver the Prince of Lies's throne to Raphael's grasp. He cannot imagine a sweeter agony for the Lord of the Ninth.
He is fully prepared to bask in his victory when he summons the group to the House. And why should he not? This meeting is the start of his conquest. He lets the human glamor drop, stretching his grand wings as he relaxes into his proper form. Tav shuffles back a step, regarding him with wide eyes, raking across his figure. Raphael preens beneath their observation, raising his left hand to tap his chin. "What's better than a devil you don't know? A devil you do."
So many things happen in such rapid succession. When Raphael reflects on this moment, he will not know precisely how to parse their line of thought. The silly dear's face seems to shift from confusion to pain to breathtaking concern in seconds—Tav lungs for him. Raphael does not fall back but is left to arch a brow as the little creature clutches his hand between theirs.
"You should not say that about yourself. You cannot."
He purses his lips, glancing over their shoulder at their companions. The cambion is gratified to see they share his confusion. "I…dear, some clarity is in order. What can't I say?"
"They call us devils. Every day, I've heard it. But you cannot internalize that feeling, brother. You are no more a devil than I."
Raphael takes a moment to collect himself, frowning. "I…"
They cut him off, clutching his hand tighter, all agonized sincerity. "Whatever they've made you feel, it needn't be true. You are more than that."
The vampire spawn takes a step forward, holding up a finger. "Is he, darling? He looks…well, I don't know. A touch Infernal. The sweltering hellscape does…lend some credence to his claim."
Shadowheart shrugs, crossing her arms over her chest. "There's also that fact that he's said it."
"Listen to your friends, little mouse. For this devil might be…"
"So much more if he recognized his potential. His humanity. My friend, do you know how many mobs have named me such? Devil? Hellspawn?"
He frowned. "Tragic, pet. If we could just…"
"I won't let the same befall you." A thumb stroking over the curve of his wrist. Raphael suffers a truly visceral image: his plan crashing down around his ears, Asmodeus cackling from his seat in Nessus. "I look at you. And see your pain. I see how much more you could be."
"Your judgment is truly misplaced."
"Mr. Devil, sir," Shadowheart begins.
"Raphael." Gods, he feels a migraine coming on.
"If you release our friend to us, we'll explain the situation. Could you forward the highlights of this presentation?
"It loses its dramatic effect."
"It'll only be worse if they stay. You see them."
Tav continues to stare in hurt and earnest interest. Raphael shrugs. He snaps his fingers and sends the little idiot careening back to the mortal plane. Thus unburdened, he turns to address the spawn and the cultist. "Now, shall we try again?"

Silver-Tongued Devil [Usagiyama Rumi x Reader]
Pairing: Usagiyama Rumi x AFAB!Reader Word count: ~3,200 [Ao3 Link]
Summary: You somehow end up as the sacrifice for an incompetent cult. The demon they summon is not at all what they nor you expected.
Warnings: Kidnapping. Cults. Reasonably graphic depictions of violence and blood. Reader is injured (not extensively) but healed. AFAB reader; genitals are referred to by fem terms but no other gendered terms are used. Graphic Smut (MDNI). Strength Kink. Cunnilingus. Weird demon tongue. idk.
Notes: 3rd fic for Strange Lovers (my little monster!character x reader series for October)! Please ignore this was a day late i had such writer's block for this and i don't know why. I'm not sure if this is good or not honestly I just want to not have to look at it anymore. Mdni banner template from @/cafekitsune
I have the absolute worst luck, you thought to yourself.
Perhaps you had broken multiple mirrors in the past. Did breaking multiple mirrors mean the seven years of bad luck was worse, or was the period of bad luck just longer?
You supposed it didn’t really matter, but how else would you end up like this: hogtied and gagged in the middle of a red painted pentagram, surrounded by what sounded to be frat boys in cult getups.
One of the little fuckers had ambushed you on your way home with a handkerchief soaked in chloroform. Next thing you knew, you were tied up in the middle of the woods, surrounded by a bunch of college kids in dark robes chanting Latin.
You had no idea why you specifically were picked. You had a feeling it was just because you were the first person they had been able to grab; you weren’t sure whether that was better or worse than being specifically chosen.
So far, they hadn’t done anything to you other than knock you out and tie you up. Unfortunately, at least one of them must have been really good with rope, because you couldn’t budge an inch. All your screaming amounted to nothing more than a few quiet, unintelligible sounds through the gag. And just because they hadn’t done anything major to hurt you yet, doesn’t mean they wouldn’t. They had no problem with kidnapping you; you doubted your purpose in their demonic ritual summoning or whatever was just sitting there looking distressed.
The chanting had been going on for what felt like hours; yet however boring it was, your anxiety kicked back up drastically when they stopped.
The cultists stopped circling, and turned to face you. One of them, presumably the leader because of his unique blood-red rope belt, stepped forward until he stood right in front of you, close enough to kick if you had the freedom to do so (which unfortunately you didn’t, no matter how much you tried).
In a loud, booming voice, he started up another chant, different from the first. And then he pulled out a wicked looking blade from the shadows of his robes.
You tried to get away; you tried to scream. You could feel your muscles straining against the ropes, but they wouldn’t shift. The gag kept your voice to a mumble even as you tasted iron in your throat from your shrieks.
It was all futile. He crouched down, holding the knife above you; the blade glinted red in the light of the fire. You squeezed your eyes shut, bracing for pain.
The stabbing you expected didn’t happen, but you were not spared from agony. He roughly cut away the fabric of your shirt around your stomach, exposing it to the night air; his canvas. Slowly, excruciatingly, he began to carve a shape onto your skin; some sort of crescent moon, maybe; you weren’t sure, too busy screaming from the burning pain of it.
When the knife finally paused, you sobbed in relief. It still burned; you could feel the blood flowing and dripping onto the ground, both too-cool and too-warm feeling at once. But at least there were no new wounds made.
You drifted in and out of awareness, missing the cult’s final chants, but you did not miss the culmination of the ritual.
Once the final words were spoken by the robed figures, a violent bolt of lightning lit up the forest blinding white. The thunder followed immediately after, so loud it caused your ears to ring.
Your eyes took a minute to readjust to the dim light of the torches, and then you saw her.
You noticed two things about her right away: one, she was beautiful; two, she was utterly inhuman.
Her general figure was humanoid…if humans were seven feet tall. Her skin was a human shade of brown, yet her eyes were crimson red with slit pupils. Her broad, almost cocky, grin revealed shining white fangs. Her hair was pure white, hanging around her face in long braids. It was interrupted by the curling black horns emerging from her skull, and the rabbit-like white ears springing from the sides of her head.
She only wore draping gold jewelry, which seemed to drip down her body like liquid, covering her most private parts delicately. This allowed you full view of her muscles. She was built like a Greek statue: thick arms, prominent abdominal muscles, and thighs that could probably crush a man’s skull like a grape.
She radiated power. If you weren’t writhing on the ground in pain like a tortured worm, you would be cowering.
The cultists do cower a little, trembling in their robes. Finally, the one with the red belt steps forward.
“O Great Miruko, High Demon of the Moon, please accept this humble offering,” he said, gesturing to where you lay. “As per the summoning, we only request one day of obedience in exchange for the blood of the sacrificed.”
The demon tilted her head, never dropping her wide smile.
“So you losers thought you would have control of me with this ritual?”
Her voice wasn’t quite what you expected; it was human-sounding at first, if loud, but it echoed around the trees in odd ways, making it sound like thousands of whispers repeated her words. It was…unsettling.
The cultists seemed to agree. Their leader flinched visibly when the demon spoke. “Y-Yes. According to the ancient tome—” he said, pulling a beat-up leather book out of seemingly nowhere, “—we started the ritual on the right phase of the moon, we recited the proper chants, evoked the correct name, provided the sacrifice for consumption…everything is correct. As per the ritual’s rules, you are summoned to the mortal plane to do our biding for a full day, then you return to the hell from whence you came!” He was starting to sound frantic by the end of his tirade.
The demon crossed her arms across her chest, emphasizing their definition. “Well, you’re almost right…except for the most important part.” She stepped closer, and bent down dramatically at the waist to look the cult leader in the eyes. He scrambled to step backwards; this caused his hood to flip back, revealing a face that looked both scared and young.
The demon seemed amused by his fear. She smiled, cruelly, baring sharp teeth at him. “The one who gives the blood is not the sacrifice…they’re the one with control over me. Not you.”
She stood up again, stretching to her full height. “I’m not ‘contractually obligated’ to give you shit. All the power resides in the poor person you have trussed up like a ham over there.” She gestured to you, finally making eye contact. You shivered at the glowing red gaze.
“So, hon, want me to take care of these guys for you?” she asked, focus still entirely on you.
You were frozen for a second. Your brain was spinning. You still didn’t fully understand what was going on…but you would like your kidnappers gone. So you gave the smallest nod, all of the movement you could manage.
The demon smirked, returning your nod, and then she was a blur.
Your head span just trying to watch her; it seemed like only a second before all of the cultists were knocked out cold from the force of the demon’s lightning-quick kicks and punches.
Once she had taken care of them, she crouched down over you to run her hands over your bindings. Under the caress of her large hand the ropes and the gag dissolved into puffs of smoke.
You raised your tingling arms up to your mouth and coughed. Your throat still felt terrible, and coughing too deeply flexed your abdomen, causing the cuts to light up with pain again. But your limbs could finally regain blood flow.
You looked up at the demon, who was still staring at you. You had a hard time meeting her gaze; instead you looked out towards the cultists lying on the ground. “…are they dead?” you rasped.
“Naw. Just going to be unconscious for a long time. Didn’t think you would want me to kill them all. I mean. I can if you want me to though.”
“Um… no, that’s fine.” No matter how crazy this weird cult was, even if they wanted to sacrifice you, even if they had no problem kidnapping and hurting you…you wouldn’t want their deaths on your conscious. You couldn’t do that.
The demon shrugged. “Okay then.” She seemed much less intimidating and more casual now, even though she still loomed above you.
You tried to swallow, wincing when your raw throat protested the action. “So…what now?”
“Well, I am at your bidding, for a whole twenty-four hours. Then I can go back to hell…I never introduced myself, by the way. I go by many names, but you can call me Rumi.”
You stammered your own introduction.
Rumi gave you a broad grin, teeth flashing. “I’m guessing the first thing you want from me is for me to heal your wounds?”
Your voice had a hopeful tilt to it. “Can you do that? Please?”
“Aww, sweetheart, how could I say no when you ask so nicely?” she purred.
You could feel heat in your cheeks. You’re honestly surprised you still have enough blood for such a silly reaction to her words.
She chuckled, and moved so she could slip both her hands between your lower back and the ground. She lifted you up as she leaned down, until you could feel her breath on the sting of the cuts.
You weren’t sure what you expected her to do. Maybe whisper some sort of weird Latin chant and then the cuts would just disappear? But you would have never predicted what she actually did.
Rumi opened her mouth…wide. Out came a tongue between the glinting teeth.
Her tongue was long, and flexible, the end almost triangle-shaped with the way it tapered to a point. It dripped saliva onto your stomach, and you flinched.
You let out a shrill noise of surprise as Rumi uses her strange tongue to lick at your wounds.
Her spit almost seemed to leak into your cuts, causing them to close and disappear before your eyes as she lapped across them. Soon, the pain has disappeared from your abdomen, replaced by the wet, warm feeling of the demon’s tongue. She continued to lick long after the cuts were gone, removing every spot of blood from the soft skin of your stomach.
You felt flushed and tingly. You would have liked to attribute that to whatever strange demon magic was in Rumi’s spit, but you couldn’t quite lie to yourself that much. You’re ashamed to admit it, but the feeling of Rumi’s tongue on you is almost…erotic. The wetness on your abdomen was emulated by the slowly growing wetness in your underwear.
You couldn’t help but squeak in embarrassment at the realization. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on how you look at it) Rumi pulled away, tongue retracting back into her mouth like a snake.
“Feel better?” she asked.
“Yes,” you said, before losing yourself to another coughing fit. Your stomach was as good as new, no remnants of the strange carved symbol remaining, but your throat was still raw.
Rumi made a disapproving noise. “Well, it seems like you’re not all fixed up, hon. Something happened to your throat, right? Let me help.” She shifted her arms under you until she was holding you in a seated position, bringing your head closer to hers.
You felt as if your face was radiating heat. She was no less beautiful up close. It was hard to have such a lovely face right by yours, especially after said lovely face was just licking your bare skin.
Rumi removed one hand from your back, to press a single calloused finger against your bottom lip. “Open up, sweetheart.”
You should have protested, but the pet name in Rumi’s soft, low voice made your head feel fuzzy. You opened your jaw.
Your mouth was soon filled with the demon’s tongue. Your eyes closed on instinct, feeling her lips press to yours in a facsimile of a kiss. You had never had a kiss like this, however; her tongue slithered down your throat, filling it and your mouth up to the brim. You would have choked on it, but the soothing feeling of her saliva healing your injured throat made you relax enough for it to slip past your gag reflex.
It almost felt like you were being throat-fucked by Rumi’s tongue; at the mere whisper of that thought, you let out a moan around the slick appendage inside you.
To your disappointment, she immediately pulled back. Once you realized what you had done, you felt like you were going to faint. You reopened your eyes, almost dreading to see Rumi’s expression.
Your breath caught when you finally saw her. She had an almost…endeared expression on her face. It would have been sweet, if not for the sultry darkness of her eyes.
“Aww, honey, you like my tongue?” Her voice was hoarse, and you shuddered, face nearly radiating heat.
She laughed at your flustered expression. “It’s okay, don’t be embarrassed. It’s cute.”
You let out a low whine, less of arousal and more out of sheer mortification.
Runi’s smile sharpened. “You know, I can do lots of other things with my tongue, if you’d like. After all, I am at your bidding.”
While the first sentence made you feel like you had been lit on fire, the second one doused your flames a little. “I don’t want you to do something because I’m making you do it…if you don’t want to do anything, you don’t have to. No matter how I feel.” You felt a little sick at the thought that you could force her to do something like that if she didn’t want to.
“You’re so sweet, honey,” Rumi said, chuckling. “But I promise I want to just as much as you do.” Her voice dropped lower at the last part, almost to a growl, and you shuddered in her arms.
“Okay,” you whispered.
-
Rumi, as her figure suggested, was ridiculously strong.
She ripped your pants and underwear off like it was tissue paper. She hoisted her arms under you, maneuvering you like a ragdoll until you were in her preferred position. Your legs were hooked over her shoulders, your hands gripping her horns in a weak attempt to stabilize yourself as she lifted you until your pussy was level with her mouth.
You could feel Rumi’s smirk against your sensitive inner thigh. You couldn’t make yourself look down, lest you have to acknowledge your position and the way your cunt was dripping.
“Sweetheart.” A quick flick of her tongue against your clit, making you gasp. “Look at me while I eat you out.”
You reluctantly made eye contact with her. “That’s it baby,” she cooed.
You watched as her tongue slipped out of her mouth once more, the thin tip reaching out to lightly caress your clit. Even though the touches were almost nonexistent, each sent a flow of heat up your spine.
Your legs squeezed rhythmically around Rumi’s head every time her tongue teased at your nub. Your arousal kept building, filling your whole body with sticky heat, yet it wasn’t enough to push you towards any type of climax.
You didn’t notice you had begun to whimper, softly, but Rumi did. She finally took pity on you and started to lap at your cunt in earnest.
The first lick went all the way from your hole to your clit, dragging the broad part of her tongue through your wetness. She let out a rumbling moan once she got a proper taste of you, and abandoned her teasing completely.
Your eyes rolled back into your head as she licked and sucked at your pussy without mercy. Rumi was too caught up in eating you out to chastise you for this. Anyway, closed eyes only made the sounds louder; the obscene slurping noises from combination of your slick and her spit, and both of your moans, yours echoing and hers muffled against you.
You let out a shriek as her skilled tongue wormed its way into your dripping hole. You were so wet from your arousal and her saliva that she had no trouble working the appendage deep inside of you, deeper than you thought possible. She pulled you closer to her face, until her lips were pressed against the soft folds of your sex, and you thought you could come right then.
But this wasn’t the height of your arousal. Not yet.
She then started to move her tongue inside of you.
It felt like Rumi was desperate to taste all of you, the way her tongue squirmed inside your pussy. Every sensitive spot was rubbed against the rough parts of her tongue, and then soothed by the slicker parts. She was basically fucking you on her face at that point, powerful arms bringing your body away from her just to pull you back and impale you on her tongue. Every time your cunt met her face again, she would grind the bridge of her nose against your clit, sending another spark of pleasure up your spine.
Your body felt almost unreal. No longer did you have control over yourself; instead, Rumi did. You were like her little doll, a pretty little thing she could pick up and play with effortlessly.
The pleasure was so intense that you struggled to simply open your eyes without slipping back into mindless bliss. You wanted to see her, though, and so you forced them open, squinted and teary as they were.
Bringing your gaze down to her, you could see her eyes were black with arousal as they peered back up at you. Her entire face was soaked, slick and dripping from your cunt’s juices. She looked utterly bebauched.
The view made you come on the spot.
If you weren’t a doll before, you were now; your entire body went numb from your orgasm. It was like a never-ending series of delicious shocks travelling through your nervous system. Rumi hadn’t halted her movements, even as you soaked her face even more with your come. Your pleasure stretched out longer than you thought possible before your nerves started to turn painful. She stopped once your whines started becoming less come-drunk and more overwhelmed.
Almost lovingly, she laid your dazed form back down onto the ground, still cradling your head. It took you a few moments before you were even aware of your surroundings again.
In that time, Rumi had moved to straddle your head, hovering above your face on her knees. One hand was stroking your cheek softly, while the other held up the delicate chains that hung from her waist, revealing her own glistening cunt to you.
“You were so good for me, baby,” she said, voice husky. “D’you wanna return the favor?”
There was no world in which you wouldn’t want more of her.
“Yes please,” you murmured, opening your mouth.

Day 6 - Devil May Cry - "It's not my blood"
*
Vergil disliked staying at the boy’s home. Kyrie’s cheerful yet firm disposition, the children running around, and Nero’s skills being put to housework instead of fighting all made him uncomfortable.
But Kyrie had brought the children with her on a brief trip out of Fortuna. They’d only be gone two days, perhaps three if Vergil got lucky. It meant Nero was still around, but he felt slightly less miserable when that was the case.
Now, he lounged on Nero’s couch, flipping through a book of poetry Nero had tossed at him none too gently the night before, claiming he’d found it at a used book sale and picked it up on a whim. Vergil had, begrudgingly, marked a few pages so far as he discovered new works he enjoyed. No need for Nero to know that.
As if his thoughts had summoned the bastard, the front door opened. Vergil did not bother looking up from the book at the sound of Nero’s footsteps coming into the house.
“Any word on Kyrie’s return?” he asked, hoping to flee the house before it was filled with children once more.
Normally, Nero loved to talk about Kyrie. So, at his silence to the question, Vergil finally looked up.
Nero was staring blankly at the blood coating his hands, stained on his shirt and pants as well. Some had even begun to dry in his hair and on his skin.
“Nero,” Vergil said sharply, setting the book aside. He got up and shook Nero’s shoulder roughly when Nero still didn’t respond. “Nero, what happened? Where are you injured?”
Nero kept staring down at his hands. Quietly, numbly, he replied, “It’s not my blood.”
It should’ve eased Vergil’s tension, but it had the opposite effect. He kept his hand firmly gripping Nero’s shoulder, suddenly having the crazy idea that it was the only thing anchoring the boy in reality.
“Whose blood is it?” he asked, keeping his voice level.
Nero’s bloodied hands began to tremble badly. “She was playing in the forest. Not very far in, but far enough. Her parents begged me to help find her. I…I was too late.” He clenched his hands into fists, agony in his eyes. “A demon tore her up. She was six years old. I was holding her when she died. I was too fucking late!”
He jerked out of Vergil’s grasp and began to angrily beat his fists into the couch behind them, like destruction would bring the child back. “Too fucking late! Goddammit!”
Vergil watched him. He looked at the child’s blood clinging to Nero. He pictured a small Nero, walking these very streets, playing in that very forest, as helpless as Vergil had been as a child.
Innocent. Too innocent to see it coming.
Helpless. Defenseless. Dead.
Nero had grown up in a town with demons lurking at its edges, slipping past its defenses to claim victims from time to town. And he’d had no one to protect him. That he’d survived his childhood meant he was just one of the lucky ones of Fortuna.
Had he been caught by a demon, had he cried out for help, none would have come. No mother or father to his rescue.
Vergil shook these thoughts from his head violently. Nero had survived, and regardless, Vergil hadn’t known of his existence until recently. He couldn’t be blamed for that, surely.
But he knew now. Nero was suffering before his very eyes, and he did not know what to do to stop the pain.
Nero had stopped swearing and was instead just crying out in anger and grief as he beat his fists into the couch over and over again, leaving bloody smears on the fabric that only seemed to fuel his desperate rage.
Vergil caught his wrist as he went to deliver another strike. When Nero tried to yank free, Vergil held tightly.
“Come,” he said. “Let’s spar outside.”
Nero was breathing heavily. He looked down at where Vergil held his wrist, then up into Vergil’s eyes. Vergil had no idea what Nero saw there, but he nodded and obediently followed Vergil outside.
They began to spar, Vergil allowing Nero to go all out on him, unsure how else to allow Nero to release all the feelings burning him up from inside. The blood was still on him, but his failure to wash it off seemed more a punishment than an oversight.
He was hurting so badly. And even though Vergil was finally here, all he could do was block Nero’s blows and keep him occupied with a way to let his anger out, feeling useless and angry himself about it.
The world was such a cruel place. Vergil only wished Nero had been spared the truth.

Hmm... Death comforting a gender neutral Reader who is one of his brothers' child (though brain keeps imagining the child of Pest, you can do whichever feels best. Also doesn't need to be a child reader, them being an adult works)? Perhaps during the apocalypse/nearing its end and Reader is worried about their family's safety should the Winchesters not succeed? Perhaps their worry causes problems with power control?
I finally finally completed this request! I hope you like it my dude <3 I appreciate you and your support a lot
SPN Death Drabble: Comforting the child of Pest because they’re worried for their family
The Horsemen of the Apocalypse were upon the world, and with them so did you rise up to wander the earth once again with them. You weren’t known to the Bible or other writings of the church, you were the only mortal connection that existed to them because you were the child to one of them.
Your father was none other than Pest, the Horseman who kept on appearing on earth in a steady rhythm. But he would always bear the name of the disease he first created, the one that nearly wiped out the European population in Medieval times.
The Winchesters slowly came to understand than everything in the Bible might as well be true and exist as Angels and Demons kept on interviewing in their lives. But the Horsemen.. they were something so foreign, something so hard to grasp that they wouldn’t have believed them to be true. And yet.. Lucifer started to summon them one by one.
Your father was among them, and you were finally reunited with him after the long slumber all of them have been put in.
And with them appearing again so did your powers. The power than you had inhibited from your father when you were born to a normal woman. That way you both held the power within you that had the world succumb to illness as well as the ability for immunity to said diseases.
Lucifer had the Horsemen emerge again, but they were not free. The Devil expected them to follow suit with his hatred of Humanity, but with that he gravely misunderstood their nature. They all contributed to the Apocalypse, to Humanities demise, but they were just as natural and inherent to the world as any other Entity. Just because something caused grief didn’t mean it was bad by nature. But your powers scared you nonetheless, the thought that your family would be endangered in this unnaturally triggered process of destruction, puppeteered by Lucifer, made you feel overwhelmed with yourself and your powers.
You had never actually met your him until then, the oldest of them all. Older than god himself and all that came after. Yet the moment he came into the nearly empty Cafe you were sat in as the Storm outside swelled dangerously, sweeping across the streets and knocking over people, cars and streetsigns- the moment you saw him you felt a familiarity in your soul. A blossoming, instant trust.
The Barista dropped to the floor, glass shattered. He picked up a Cup of Coffee from the table of a Customer that was now dead as well, walking around to take a seat across from you. „Y/n.“ You weren’t sure if it was a greeting or a statement. „We didn’t have an addition to the family since World war one. You may be able to guess which one of my brothers fathered a child during that time.“ He leaned his cane against the table, his movements fluent and composed as he took a sip of the coffee.
„Uncle..“ you breathed. A part of you was nervous, the human part most likely, and yet- „I don’t know why, but I‘m very glad you are here.“ Death looked on calm as he always did, but his eyes softened at your words. It was rare, only creatures in agony welcomed his presence and service to the world. But you genuinely meant what you were saying.
„I felt that your energy is disrupted.“ He said. You lowered your head, it was true. „I‘m scared about my family, I don’t know what will happen. My powers seem to malfunction too now, when I‘m anxious I keep casting out disease! I try to keep it down, I tried in so many ways but once I slip for just a moment it gets worse and worse. It feels like I‘m playing into what Lucifer wants, and not who we are. What if my father, what if all of you…“ you felt a knot in your throat and blinked at the tears that welled up inside of you. „What if there is nothing I can do and.. in the end I‘m all left alone?“ You admitted to him, to which he responded with a knowing nod. „I see.“ You both looked out into the storm for a moment, rain started drumming against the window.
„We are forces of nature, and nature isn‘t only nurture towards this world but also destruction. You don‘t need to expect yourself to be fully in control at all times, because look at us all now. Imbalance is part of existence at times, but we will eventually claim our autonomy back. Neither humanity nor yourself can deny any part of who you are, and if you don’t trust yourself to let yourself be whatever you naturally occur to be.. it only causes more loss of control.„ You looked up at him, his dark eyes had authority yet they also offered clarity and the kind of calm that only the finality and eventuality of life could offer. „Nothing is inherently good or bad, those are simply judgements, but not a reflection of who you really are.“ Tears rolled down your cheeks, you nodded and sniffed. He was right.. „And.. what if the Winchesters fail?“
Death reached out to you and closed his slender hands over yours, „None of us are are truly a puppet of Lucifer, and as long as there is life there is us. He may have us spellbound right now, but he is just an angel. He has limits, and none can control nature forever.“ You squeezed his hands, you couldn‘t help yourself from the tears anymore. You were shaking quietly, and lowered your head to the table. It was so overwhelming, and until now you had no one to talk to about this because your father was out of reach. Lucifer send him someplace you didn‘t know, famine and war as well.
Everyone was gone but.. Death had found you. Not only did he know where you were, he approached you too to.. help. He was looking out for you. One of his hands came up to put the hair that was veiling your face behind your ears. „I promise it will eventually come together again. We are scattered now, but it is only a matter of time until we are fully restored and free again. Until then.. you can come with me. And I will find your father.“ You looked up again, gasping quietly as your tears subsided. „You.. thank you, Uncle.“ A slight notion of a smile settled on his face at the name, Death huffed quietly and nodded. „Let us go now.“

Chapter 21- The Depths
“Take that mask off.”
The fire in your voice was low and rumbling, a biting warning that you hardly thought yourself capable of. Your initial reaction at his affixing the mask had been terror, but a scorching fury had lit inside you at the audacity of Al to try this, after all this time. You’d had enough of this.
Of Al attempting this confession, of him even thinking about throwing everything -throwing you- away after all this time. The warning had little effect and Al, wearing the familiar horns and expressionless face, came closer.
“I’m serious, Al. Take. It. Off.”
Another step towards you.
Al remained undeterred, his eerie silence reminiscent of nights spent watching silently as you cried yourself to sleep on the mattress. If he was trying to evoke those memories, it was working. Cruel bastard. You slammed your good hand on the table, but as you used the force as leverage to stand, an agony speared through your arm. Al had reached you, had gripped your hand before you could stand. The tight grip had provoked the still-tender muscles in your dislocated finger and you jolted, an electric current tearing through your bloodstream. A sibilant hiss escaped through your teeth at the pain, which had forced you back onto the chair.
“I’ve got to finish this, Y/N. To pay for my crimes.”
“That wasn’t you. It was-”
“The Grabber?” he asked, a theatrical air of incredulity heavy in his voice. “Not Albert Shaw? They’re one and the same, sweet. You need to stop pretending those are two different people,” he leaned closer, “It’s all me.”
No. You’d seen the change, that almost physical manifestation of the otherness that enveloped Al like a black shroud of fog in the past. In the past, though. He might be using the same mannerisms and voice, but this was all an act. The mask wasn’t some summoning device; it didn’t automatically call on the Grabber to appear like an evocation of some paranormal being.
“It’s NOT you, Al,” you hoped the repetition of his name might break the mad spell he was trying to hold himself in, the lie he was telling himself to make all of this seem justified. Did it make it easier to betray you like this if he played such a role?
“Stop kidding yourself. Look who I am-” here, Al nudged open the wooden box with a knuckle, plucking out an item at random (the blue choker necklace) and shaking it wildly in front of you. “Look at what I’ve done! You want me to tell you how I killed each of them? Why not read that note again, huh? Or I could tell you all the details I didn’t put in that confession.”
You’d already looked away by this point, eyes scrunched closed and head shaking, trying to refute Al’s words by purposefully ignoring them. But you knew them to be at least somewhat true- your shameful averting gaze was in part because you had no retort, no justifiable defense for what he was saying. You felt the tears start at the outer corners of your eyes, tumbling down your cheeks before a much rougher sensation met your skin.
“Look at me!” Al roared, gripping your face between his thumb and forefinger, the course fingertips digging into your cheeks as he forced you to face him. Your eyes stayed closed. His voice again, softer but infinitely more lethal, spoke:
“Look at me, little bird.”
You opened your lids slowly, discerning those still-blue eyes behind the mask. Heavenly, you might have thought that shade, had they not been sitting beneath literal devil horns. Deep blue, with no trace of that hunger or feral rage that signified the Grabber. Al was angry, perhaps at what he thought to be a hopeless situation, but those emotions were Al’s alone. Not the Grabber’s- no matter how much Al pretended to still house that monster within him.
“Please take off the mask, Al.” It was more desperate and pleading now, spoken through hiccuped breaths, your tears still tracing downward paths down your face. You knew Al’s hardened resolve had already set like cement; unyielding. He didn’t answer you as he released your face from his grasp, finally letting go of your injured hand too.
You shook the pain away from your hand, looking up at Al, who stood silently over you. He sighed heavily and rolled his shoulders, as if sloughing off the last remnants of himself. His eyes closed behind the mask, and as he opened them, he spoke. The voice was barely an imitation anymore, any attempts at theatricality and grandeur erased by the hoarseness, that clear distress of his words.
“You gonna be my good girl one last time?”
You had no time to react before he pounced.
Quick hands had grabbed and lifted you from your seat before implausibly strong arms wrapped around your body. You’d been so numbed, paralyzed by his cutting words about that fragile dichotomy between Al and the Grabber, that his sudden lunge towards you had blindsided you.
“Let me GO!” You roared, your legs kicking wildly in front of you, your arms squashed too tightly under his grip to help you wriggle free.
“I- am letting- you go,” Al huffed from behind the mask, his winded breath the only sign of a struggle; his strength seemingly carrying you with ease across the kitchen, towards the wooden door waiting for you in the corner of the room. Once there, his arm had to reach out to twist the doorknob, yet with just one arm around your torso you were hopelessly outmatched. You pried an arm free, desperately clawing behind you, as if the possibility of ripping off that demonic mask might snap Al out of this madness. Your frantic mauling only served to bend your injured finger out of place once more, tearing a howl from you. With the wooden door open, Al’s free hand moved to muffle your groans.
All too much. The pain shooting through your arm, the tight grip around your body, the suffocating hand stifling your shouts, the dizzying ordeal of being carried back towards that prison you’d spent too long in. And the worst part of all of it: that Al had planned this, wanted- thought he needed this to happen.
It wasn’t the sick perversion of actually wanting a victim in the basement, carrying down your unconscious body like he had done nearly a year ago. It wasn’t the heated passion like he’d shown just a couple of nights ago, where he’d nearly dragged you down those stairs in a sudden burst of fury. This was an entirely different purpose. A kindness, in Al’s eyes- to keep you there one last time, to present you as the Grabber’s unwilling cohabitant. A short stint in those depths, to save you from a lifetime of being with him.
You felt your body still, felt the damp air, and realization hit. The realization that Al had already kicked open the metal door at the bottom of the stairwell. The realization that you were already in the basement. The physical pain of your injury, along with the growing hopelessness of the situation, meant that you’d not fought hard enough to stop this insanity. Another sickly sensation as you felt your body teetering, discerning that Al was leaning forward, dropping you to the floor, his weight on your back pinning you to the cold stone. Hands retracted, but the weight holding you to the floor only allowed a thin rasp of a breath to plead with Al. You’d always used your words before, unable to match the bestial strength on full display now, so you choked out your plea.
“Al, don’t. Please-”
“Enough.”
The coldness of that voice from behind was a steel blade in your back. He wrestled your hands behind you, though the pain of your twisted finger paled in comparison to the agonizing realization of what was happening. With both your wrists clasped in one of Al’s, you heard a fumbling and then a staccato rip of duct tape. The noise was enough to spur your body into a fresh convulsion beneath Al. The sudden struggle seemed to catch him off-guard, and he had to pacify you with a forceful grip on the nape of your neck, pushing your cheek into the cold floor. Still reeling, your ragged breaths unable to scream but your last bit of strength still pushing against him, and Al loosened his grip on your neck, only to push down even harder a second later. Your head collided with the floor, a dull thunk followed by a high-pitched buzzing in your ears. It was just hard enough to daze you, and when the buzzsaw in your brain came to a halt, Al had already tied your hands behind your back.
A more intimate sensation now, as Al held your bounds hands lightly. If it seemed a kind gesture, that fallacy was erased a moment later as he pulled at the ring on your finger. His ring, the gold band he’d given as a promise, was pried from you. Your finger felt suddenly cold, exposed. He’d gifted you the ring as a promise to keep you safe. But what good was that when Al saw himself as the danger? What good was any of it when you were drawn to that danger like a moth to a lethal flame?
“No more of my broken promises.” In saying that, Al couldn’t see the cruel contradiction that leaving you would be the biggest betrayal of all. Still, if he cared about promises at all, didn’t that show that he was still Al beneath that mask? Maybe there was time to stop this ill-conceived scheme.
Your body jolted again, this time with a pressure on your arms as Al grabbed them, heaving you across the room. Your bare legs scraped against the grimy floor as you were jostled before Al tossed you onto the mattress a few feet from the floor where he’d wrestled you. The familiar feeling of the damp, worn bed as Al threw you down was a sickening déjà vu. Instinct had you scrabbling back towards the wall, feet slipping on the dirty fabric until your head and hands hit stone behind you. A scene you’d seen dozens of times lay before you- Al standing there, fully masked, looking down at your weak, helpless body on the mattress. Somehow, knowing Al’s intention to give himself in, knowing you’d soon be without him, made this more terrifying than any of the earlier encounters. With the spool of tape still in one hand, Al retrieved something from his back pocket with his other, pulling out his small switchblade. Your pleas, desperate wriggling and heavy tears weren’t enough to stop his advance, and he strode over the mattress, dropping down with his knees astride your thighs, eye level with you.
“He’s not there, Al. You’re just pretending. Don’t act like the monster we both know is dead.” you croaked.
Blue eyes in the mask’s shadow looked back at you silently. The slight tilt of Al’s head had you wondering whether Al was still embodying those impish mannerisms, or whether he was really considering your statement.
“It’s who I need to be right now, dove.” His admittance that it was an act was little comfort when his refusal to give up that role was so evident, and you crumpled as he said those words. Perhaps he wanted to console you with a soft touch, but his resolve won out, and he got to work quickly as you cried to an unresponsive audience of one.
Some of the work was already complete: your bruises from Naughty Girl, taken willingly, would tell a different tale than your twisted game. The handprints still red and visible on your buttocks would be unexplainable as anything other than abuse to those outside of this room. The dirt and grime from your writhing on the basement floor was an extra little touch, more evidence of mistreatment. But Al had other lies to tell, and worked quickly to write the false tale. Your shirt first, Al tearing it at the collar, creating rips with his small blade. When he was done, there was more skin exposed than covered by the remnants of the cotton material. Your underwear next, which he whipped down your legs, discarding to the side. That image would leave no doubt for whoever found you, deducing what vile acts the Grabber inflicted upon you in this room. Hell, you even had his seed inside you from this morning. Who would believe that such an act was consensual, given the state of you now?
He seemed to think twice about his next move, before slow hands approached with the switchblade. You held your breath as Al drew near, the indecisive knife hovering over your neck, then chest, before Al chose the spots carefully. A couple of skillful nicks on your upper arms and thighs shocked more than hurt, the shallow cuts bursting with small patches of fresh red on your skin. A few fresher wounds that the Grabber had inflicted, giving more credulity to the fabrication that you were still a captive. The cuts barely even hurt. Not compared to everything else.
“Go deeper,” you sobbed as Al made a small incision above your knee, stopping when he heard your words. “If you’re really doing this, I’d rather be dead. Cut deeper.”
“No more killing,” Al said, folding down his knife and retreating it back to his pocket. “You’ll appreciate this one day, dove. You’ll see it was the one good thing I ever did to you.”
No retort you might muster would be enough to sway him, your mind too jumbled and shocked to form any sort of coherent argument. Your stomach lurched at the inescapable truth; that Al’s confession was coming to fruition, that he was about to lock you down here, and end it all.
“Shit-” Al had risen, looking towards the metal door before turning to you again. “Sorry dove- I broke the door lock. Can’t have you going anywhere until they find you.” In an instant he was on you, another stretch of duct tape unwinding with a cracking rip before he quickly wound a length of it tightly around your ankles.
“Al!” you pleaded as he secured your legs, running out of energy, out of ideas. “I won’t be able to stand it, seeing you go to jail. Everything that will follow-”
“You might not see me do any of that,” he explained as you gave a pained, confused look, “If I put up enough of a fight, if I’m a big enough threat, they might just shoot on sight.”
That dizziness returned without a fresh bump to your head, the idea of not just being away from Al, but him not existing at all…. It felt like you had no more cards to play. What else was there to say to persuade him apart from your true feelings?
“Al, don’t do this. I love-” a swift shadow lunged at you. Al’s hands moved to silence the tail end of your admission, one over your mouth and the other cupping the back of your head. He knew the pain of those words, what pain it would cause for him to hear those three words on your lips one final time.
“NO!” he cried, bringing the masked face close to your own. “You think you love me. After this, you’ll realize you hated me all this time. Then you’ll forget me, and that will be the happy ending you deserve. You don’t need me for your happy ending.” You stilled beneath him, even as the tears dripped over his fingers that covered your mouth. It really was over.
Through your tear-soaked lashes, you looked up at Al and nodded, showing him you were pacified, and he moved his hand in understanding.
“If you’re going to say goodbye, do it as Al. Don’t let my last memory of you be of this- this thing that I don’t see you as.”
Al tore the mask away from his face, obeying your final request. His eyes matched yours in their tearful state.
“Thank you, dove. For not seeing me as the monster.” And then he rushed at you. His lips crashed against yours, harsh and desperate and so full of love and loss. You returned the kiss, straining against your bonds to try and hold him there forever if it meant never leaving. But after a moment, he tore himself away and you released a keening wail. A quick rip of tape and Al covered your mouth, muffling your cries beneath the gag.
He kissed your temple before rising, walking briskly towards the door as if scared he might change his mind about the whole confession. You moaned desperately through the tape as he retreated. One last, lingering look and a final goodbye.
“I’m sorry, dove. I love you.”
And with that, the metal door closed.
If the closing of that metal door felt like a death sentence, it was the least he deserved, Al thought as it shut with a dull clang. But she deserved so much more, so much better. Even from behind the door, he heard the muffled screams of his love. It broke him to know how much she was suffering, even if she’d been through worse at his hands in the past. But the quicker he worked, the sooner she’d be free from her restraints and from the basement. From him, too.
He strode briskly through the house to the bedroom first. The first scene to set up. From the bedside drawer, he pulled out the handcuffs he’d been chained in just yesterday. One bracelet he looped through a headboard slat, the other left open on the rumpled sheets. The very picture of an unwilling bed partner. From the box in the closet he pulled out a few more things he scattered on the bed; some lengths of rope and some toys they’d played with during the game. Along with some risque underwear he’d bought her as a suggestive gift (also thrown on the bed), it painted a sordid, disgusting picture of the things he’d subjected this innocent girl to over months and months of captivity. Al could already picture the scandalous headlines he’d probably never live to read.
In the kitchen, Al placed the duct tape and knife from his pockets on the table with the mask he’d thrown on there minutes earlier. The confession, the wooden box and the alternate faces of the mask still sat, waiting to become evidence once Al finally did what was needed. He removed the pink-jeweled ring from his pinky finger- her ring, which he’d taken early in her captivity. First, as a cruel taunt that no one was coming to save her. Then later, as a promise that he’d be the savior she needed. What a hollow promise that turned out to be. Al put the pink morganite ring in the box with the other trophies, the silver band hitting the base of the box with a sad clatter. He put his own gold band inside too, not wanting to mar the ring his little bird had worn for so many months. That ring was an empty promise too, a past relic now. Al didn’t deserve to wear such a thing. It joined the other ring before Al closed the box.
He collected the photographs of him and his dove from the kitchen fridge and the frames in the living room- a few snapshots that he’d need to dispose of. Over the sink, he held a match to the small polaroid of her and him in an intimate, comfortable lover’s embrace, watching the edges blacken and disintegrate. Wisps of the photo fell into the sink, followed by tears as he watched it burn slowly.
As the orange flame began to eat away at his image on the polaroid film, Al thought about what was coming, and how he deserved every punishment. But to have gotten her so deep in this web, to give her hope of a future after he took her old life away, only to throw her back into the unknown, was just as callous an act as kidnapping her the first day he set eyes on her. Still, he hoped that one day, she would move on. She might mourn him a little, but in the end they’d be wasted tears.
The fire had all but erased Al in the image, moving to devour his dove next. It was his greatest magic trick he’d ever performed, Al thought. Though truly, more hypnosis than real magic. What was more incredible- that she’d fallen for him in the first place, or that he was pathetic enough to believe it could last?
The last scraps had burned out, and he scrubbed the sink of any sooty remains to finish his task. Al went to the white phone in the living room, picking it up and carrying it with him to his armchair, the corded wire taut, but just long enough for him to use the phone from his chair. One hand lifted the receiver to his ear, whilst the other hand reached towards the rotary dial.

~Part 28 ~

The room was bathed in a cold, sterile light as Dean stood across from Metatron. The once lowly scribe of God had ascended to a position of power that made Dean's blood boil. His smirk, his calm, collected posture, all screamed arrogance—an arrogance that had cost Dean and everyone he cared about dearly.
"This is all your fault," Dean growled, fists clenched tight, the Mark of Cain pulsing angrily beneath his skin. "Kevin, Cas, Sam...everything that's gone to hell in the last year. You did that. You started this."
Metatron's smile widened, an almost mocking pity in his gaze. "Oh, Dean. You've always been so linear, so black and white. You can't see the bigger picture, can you? I'm creating a new world, a world of order. But, alas, you keep trying to play the hero."
Dean stepped forward, raising the First Blade in his hand. The weight of it felt comforting, familiar. The Mark was hungry for blood, hungry for destruction, and Dean was ready to deliver.
"I'm going to end you," Dean said, his voice low and threatening. "For Kevin. For everyone."
"Please," Metatron scoffed. "You think you can kill me? I'm practically a god now."
Without warning, the room exploded into chaos. Dean lunged at Metatron, slashing with the First Blade, but Metatron dodged with a speed and agility Dean hadn't expected. Their fight was brutal, a flurry of fists and blades clashing in a blur of motion. Dean, fueled by the Mark, fought with everything he had, but Metatron was strong—too strong.
Dean could feel the cold concrete beneath him as he collapsed, battered and beaten, the weight of the First Blade heavy in his hand. Blood dripped from his mouth, his face swollen and bruised beyond recognition. Every breath had been agony, his ribs aching with every inhale.
Metatron managed to disarm Dean, kicking the First blade out of Dean's grasp. Metatron stood over him, gloating, his smug smile, "You thought you could stop me, Dean?" he'd sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "You're nothing. You're just a man."
He then raised his angel blade for one final blow.
But Dean wasn't done. With a surge of power from the Mark, he used telekinesis to summon the First Blade back to his hand. Just as his fingers closed around it, ready to strike, Metatron moved faster.
In one swift motion, Metatron drove his angel blade deep into Dean's chest.
The world seemed to stop. Dean's eyes widened in shock, the First Blade slipping from his hand as he staggered back, his breath coming in short, pained gasps. He looked down at the blade buried in his chest, blood staining his shirt, and then back up at Metatron, who was grinning like the devil himself.
"Goodnight, Dean Winchester."
Sam's voice echoed in the distance. "No!"
Sam rushed forward, his face twisted in horror as he watched his brother fall to his knees. Julia, frozen for a moment, broke out of her paralysis and ran to Dean's side. She reached him just as he collapsed to the ground, cradling him in her arms.
"Dean!" Julia's voice cracked, her eyes filling with tears as she pressed her hands against the wound in his chest, trying to stop the bleeding. "No, no, no! You're not going anywhere, you hear me?"
Dean's breathing was ragged, each breath a struggle. His eyes fluttered open, meeting Julia's gaze, but there was something different in them now. A sadness, an acceptance.
"Sam!" Julia cried, desperate, her voice breaking as she held onto Dean. "Do something!"
Sam dropped to his knees beside them, his face pale and stricken with fear. "Dean, stay with us, okay? We'll get you help. Cas will heal you."
But Dean shook his head weakly. "No time...for that, Sammy."
Julia tightened her grip on him, tears falling freely down her cheeks. "You can't leave us. You can't leave me."
Dean reached up, his blood-stained hand cupping Julia's cheek. "I'm sorry..." he rasped, his voice barely above a whisper.
"No," she whispered, shaking her head, her heart breaking into pieces. "Don't say that."
But it was too late. The light in Dean's eyes flickered, then faded entirely. His body went limp in Julia's arms, his breathing stopping as the room fell into an unbearable silence.
"Dean!" Sam shouted, his voice filled with anguish. He shook his brother, hoping, praying for some kind of response. But there was nothing.
Julia held Dean's lifeless body close, her tears soaking into his bloodied shirt. The weight of his death hit her like a sledgehammer, crushing her chest, her heart.
"Please, Dean," she sobbed, her voice breaking. "Please don't leave me..."
But he was gone.
The room was filled with an unbearable silence. Sam stared at his brother's body, his heart breaking all over again. He reached out and gently closed Dean's eyes, his own tears falling onto the floor.
Julia couldn't move, couldn't think. All she could do was hold Dean, the man who had slowly become everything to her, and cry.
Dean Winchester was dead.
And the world would never be the same.

Devil | JJK x Makima! Reader
Chapter 29
You cursed under your breath as the last transfigured human dropped dead, its twisted form collapsing in a grotesque heap at your feet.
“Dammit, dammit, dammit,” you muttered, your voice a low, simmering growl as you paced the fields surrounding the shrine, your frustration mounting with each step. If this didn’t work, you’d have no choice but to confront Mahito directly—a prospect you weren’t eager to entertain.
Time was slipping through your fingers, and with it, your chances of saving Pochita dwindled. It’s mangled form haunted your thoughts, driving you to the edge of desperation. You needed something—someone—who had been “altered” by that patchwork curse but retained some semblance of their original self, someone you could manipulate, probe into their inner thoughts, and unravel the intricacies of Mahito’s cursed technique. But every transfigured human you’d captured before they succumbed to the curse had been utterly useless.
None of them could communicate with you, their minds too shattered, too consumed by the agony of their transformations. Despite the contracts you made with them, you could do nothing more than command their hollow shells. Their thoughts, if they had any left, were incoherent, fragmented whispers drowned out by the overwhelming pain they endured. No clues, no insight into how Mahito’s cursed technique operated, or how he twisted their bodies into such abominations.
Frustration boiled over, and you lashed out, kicking the lifeless transfigured human away from you with a snarl of disgust. Your gaze flicked upwards, catching sight of the crows circling above, their dark forms stark against the sky.
“Crows would draw too much attention,” you muttered to yourself, dismissing the idea as quickly as it came.
As if summoned by your thoughts, you felt the first tickle of movement against your skin. Thousands of rats swarmed up your legs, their tiny feet scuttling over your clothes, their bodies a writhing mass of fur and flesh. The sensation was revolting, a crawling, itching nightmare.
You closed your eyes, willing yourself to focus as the rats continued to swarm, enveloping your body in a living cloak. The world around you seemed to blur and twist, the sensation of teleportation unlike anything else—disorienting, like being pulled through a narrow, winding tunnel at breakneck speed, every fiber of your being stretched and compressed simultaneously. But having done this a thousand times, you got used to it.
-
When you opened your eyes, the shrine was gone, replaced by the dim, shadowy confines of a different location. The oppressive atmosphere of the school hallway felt suffocating, a stark contrast to the open fields you had just left behind. The rats that had carried you here scattered quickly, their tiny, clawed feet pattering away into the darkness, leaving you alone in the eerie silence.
You took a deep breath, steadying yourself as you scanned the empty hallway. The familiar stench of rot and decay filled your nostrils, mingling with the faint traces of blood and despair that seemed to permeate the air. Your eyes narrowed as you searched for any signs of life—if you could even call it that—in the twisted, transfigured humans that Mahito had left in his wake.
Finally, your gaze landed on a motionless figure slumped on the floor. Its skin was an unnatural shade of blue, its hair matted and black. You approached it with a slow, deliberate stride, your shoes echoing ominously against the cold, hard floor. A twisted smile curled at the edges of your lips as you reached out, placing your hand on its head, ready to force it into a contract. You were about to bind it to your will, to use it as another tool in your arsenal—until you heard it speak.
"Y/n…" it muttered, its voice a weak, broken whisper. You froze, your eyes widening in surprise. Beneath the usual scent of decay and corruption that these abominations carried, there was something familiar, something that made you pause.
"Yoshino?" you whispered, your voice barely audible as a flicker of recognition sparked within you. The transfigured human's hand gripped the fabric of your pants, its dull, lifeless eyes struggling to focus on you.
"Why…?" it muttered again, its voice laced with pain and confusion.
"Are you Yoshino? Are you?" you demanded, a hint of urgency creeping into your tone. The creature nodded slowly, a painful, deliberate motion that sent a shiver down your spine.
"Y/n…" it repeated, its voice cracking as it struggled to form the words. "Help me."
For a moment, you stared down at what was left of Junpei Yoshino, your mind racing. This was an opportunity—an opportunity to understand Mahito’s cursed technique. A twisted idea formed in your mind, one that sent a thrill of dark pleasure coursing through your veins.
But as you knelt beside him, your expression softening into something that almost resembled sympathy, something in Junpei’s fractured mind began to stir. His thoughts were slow, muddled by the transformation and the agony of his new form, but he could still sense something was off. This wasn’t the Y/n he remembered. There was a coldness in your eyes, a sinister edge to your smile that hadn’t been there before. It was subtle, but it was enough to send a tremor of doubt through him.
“Of course, Yoshino,” you cooed, your voice dripping with false sweetness. “I’ll help you… I’ll take away your pain.”
Despite the creeping realization that something was wrong, Junpei found himself nodding, his body responding automatically to your words. He felt an odd sense of reliance on you, a need to cling to the familiar in this nightmare of a reality. Even as a part of him screamed that you weren’t who you seemed, another part—the part that was tired, broken, and desperate—clung to you like a lifeline.
But beneath that gentle facade, your mind was already at work, calculating, planning. You could turn this to your advantage—twist Junpei’s remaining consciousness into something useful, something that would bring you one step closer to your goal. His mind was fragile, broken, but you could mold it, shape it into a weapon against Mahito. And perhaps, in doing so, you’d finally figure out how to save Pochita.
Your smile grew wider, more sinister as you leaned in closer, your breath warm against his cold, clammy skin. “But you’ll have to offer me something,” you whispered, your tone a mockery of compassion. “You want to be free, don’t you? Free from the pain, free from the suffering? How about we do a little contract?”
The transfigured human—what little was left of Junpei—nodded weakly, desperation evident in his every movement. His grip on your pants tightened, his eyes pleading for the relief you had so deceptively promised. Despite the nagging doubt, despite the sense of wrongness that lingered in the back of his mind, he couldn’t bring himself to resist. You were his only hope, his savior in the darkness. He could feel his fear being overridden by a twisted sense of gratitude, almost worship, as if you were some kind of deity offering him salvation.
“Good,” you murmured, your hand gently caressing his mangled hair. “Just let go, Yoshino. Let me take control, let me use you.”
As you began to weave your power into him, binding him to your will, a cold satisfaction filled you. Chains started to surround the both of you, the other end attached to your stomach and the other one attached to his chest.
“Good boy, good boy,” you complimented as his trembling subsided, replaced by a sense of eerie calm. For Junpei, it was as if the chains were not shackles, but a divine connection to you, the one who had freed him from his pain. He felt a twisted comfort in your praise, as if it was the only thing that mattered now. The doubts that had once plagued him began to fade, replaced by a growing sense of loyalty, even reverence.
You gripped your hand on his forehead as you began to breathe in the information, the memories, the feelings, anything from Mahito. Sooner or later, your smile widened as the transfigured human in front of you rapidly changed.
“Souls are interesting to manipulate, aren’t they?” you laughed as the transfigured human changed into Junpei. The boy looked tired, confused. He was about to say something, but you quickly shushed him.
“From now on, you’re under my care. I expect a ‘yes’ or a woof for answers. I don’t need a dog that says ‘no,’” you said as you held Junpei’s face closer to yours. Junpei, flustered, tired, and confused, only nodded. Despite the lingering unease, he couldn’t deny the overwhelming relief he felt now that the pain was gone. The praise in your voice was intoxicating, making him feel as though he would do anything to earn it again.
“Now, Junpei, I want you to get out and confuse that patchwork curse.” You smirked, your tone dripping with a sinister glee. “Don’t tell anyone about our contract, okay?” you added as you rubbed his cheeks with a mock tenderness. “And I don’t want you to work as a Jujutsu Tech sorcerer but as a window, I need someone who works directly for me. Someone who could keep secrets.”
“Yes… Y/n,” Junpei whispered, his voice shaky but resolute. In his altered mind, you were more than just his savior—you were his god, and he would serve you, no matter the cost. The lingering doubts, the faint whispers of who he had been, were silenced in the face of your overwhelming presence. His thoughts no longer his own, Junpei was consumed by the need to obey, to please the one who had freed him from his suffering.
You watched him with a satisfied smirk, the weight of his devotion palpable in the air. The transformation was complete—Junpei was now yours, body and soul.
“Oh, and one more thing,” you said, your tone casual, almost dismissive, as you turned away. But you knew he would hang on your every word, desperate for your approval, eager to fulfill any command you gave. You saw him pause, his eyes filled with a mixture of fear and anticipation.
You quickly shrugged off your oversized black trenchcoat, the fabric sliding from your shoulders with a rustling sound that echoed in the silent hallway. Without looking, you tossed it to him, the coat landing heavily in his arms. The gesture was casual, almost careless, but it was loaded with meaning.
“Get dressed,” you commanded, your voice cold, authoritative. There was no room for hesitation in your tone, no space for disobedience.
Junpei caught the trenchcoat, the fabric rough and heavy in his hands. He hesitated for a moment, staring at it as if it held some great power, which, in his mind, it did. It was a piece of you, a token of the bond you had forged through pain and control. The coat was perfect for him, it's dusty but it did not matter. All that mattered was that it had been given to him by you. He slipped it on with trembling hands, the coat's hem brushing just below his knees as he pulled it tightly around his frail body.
As the trenchcoat enveloped him, Junpei felt a strange sense of comfort, almost as if he was wrapping himself in your very essence. It smelled faintly of you—a scent that was both intoxicating and terrifying, a mix of something sweet and something sinister. He felt a shiver run down his spine, not of fear, but of exhilaration. Wearing this coat, he was closer to you, a part of something greater than himself.
“Now,” you said, your voice soft but laced with an underlying threat, “go and mess up with Mahito for me, Junpei.”
“Yes, Y/n,” he responded immediately, his voice stronger now, the coat lending him a false sense of security and purpose. He turned and walked down the hallway, the sound of his footsteps swallowed by the darkness.
As he disappeared into the gloom, you allowed yourself a moment of satisfaction. Everything was falling into place, just as you wanted.
-
Yuuji hesitated, his heart clenching as a transfigured human in the form of a little boy lunged at him. The boy’s innocent face, twisted by Mahito’s cruel hand, made Yuuji’s resolve waver.
But before the boy could reach him, a voice rang out from behind. “Moon Dreg.”
A massive, jellyfish-like Shikigami materialized, its tentacles lashing out and seizing the transfigured humans. The creatures froze, paralyzed by the Shikigami’s venomous grip. Yuuji spun around, his eyes widening as he saw Junpei standing there, wrapped in a black trenchcoat.
“Junpei!” Yuuji’s voice cracked with surprise and relief as he rushed over to him. “How—how are you here?”
Junpei bit his lip, a flicker of hesitation crossing his face as if something was holding him back from speaking the truth. After a moment, he forced a small, strained smile. “I got lucky,” he replied simply, his voice betraying a hint of something darker beneath the surface.
Yuuji, too relieved to question further, threw his arms around Junpei in a quick, tight hug. The warmth of his friend’s body was a welcome contrast to the cold, hollow despair that had gripped him moments before. But there was no time to dwell on it—Yuuji’s focus snapped back to Mahito, who was watching the scene with a twisted grin.
“Yuuji, go! Take on Mahito,” Junpei urged, his voice firm as he stepped forward. “I’ll handle the transfigured humans.”
Yuuji nodded, determination hardening in his eyes. He turned and sprinted toward Mahito, launching a powerful kick that sent the curse spiraling away from Kento.
Mahito's smile twisted into something darker as he steadied himself. “Haha, did you kill them?” he taunted Yuuji, his voice dripping with amusement.
Before Yuuji could respond, Junpei’s voice cut through the tension. “I did.”
Mahito’s head snapped toward Junpei, his face a mask of confusion and disbelief. He knew he had killed Junpei. So how was he standing here, alive and well?
Yuuji and Kento seized the moment of Mahito’s distraction, launching a barrage of attacks. Fists and feet pummeled Mahito, each strike more powerful and relentless than the last. Despite being overwhelmed, Mahito’s grin never faltered—if anything, he seemed more entertained by the fight.
“Domain Expansion,” Mahito murmured, a smirk playing on his lips as the energy around him warped. The air shimmered as the cursed domain began to take shape. “Self-Embodiment of Perfection!”
Gigantic hands burst from the ground, grasping at the air as the domain enveloped Kento, cutting him off from Yuuji and Junpei.
“Shit!” Yuuji cursed, his eyes wide as he and Junpei leaped back, narrowly avoiding the grasp of the colossal hands.
Inside the domain, darkness reigned, the space filled with the ominous presence of Mahito’s cursed energy. The hands loomed over Kento, casting long, eerie shadows as they reached for him.
“Right now, I’m grateful to you,” Mahito said, his voice echoing through the void. “Idle Transfiguration is all thanks to you.”
Kento removed his glasses, his expression resolute despite the impending danger. “I don’t need your gratitude. I’ve received plenty of it already. I have no regrets.”
Mahito laughed, the sound cold and devoid of humor, but his amusement was short-lived.
Suddenly, the sound of shattering glass reverberated through the domain. Both Mahito and Kento turned toward the source of the noise, their eyes widening in shock. Yuuji, with sheer willpower and determination, had broken into Mahito’s Domain Expansion—a feat thought impossible.
Mahito’s smile faltered as his consciousness was forcibly dragged into Sukuna’s domain. His eyes widened in horror as he began to bleed, his shoulders severed from his body as Sukuna’s attack took its toll. Desperate, Mahito tried to heal, but the damage was too severe, the domain too powerful.
As Mahito’s Domain Expansion collapsed, Yuuji saw his opportunity and launched another brutal assault on the curse. Each punch landed with the weight of his fury and determination to end this nightmare.
In a last, desperate move, Mahito transformed into a large, round version of himself, using every last ounce of his cursed energy. He let Yuuji hit him, the force of the punch causing his form to swell and then pop. In the chaos, Mahito seized his chance to escape, slipping through the drains in a liquid state.
“Bye-bye!” Mahito taunted, his voice echoing through the sewers. “It was fun!”
Kento tried to pursue, slashing at the retreating curse, but Mahito was already gone, his escape too quick to stop. Frustration etched deep lines into Kento’s face as he grabbed his phone, urgently calling for backup.
“Ino-kun, the core escaped,” Kento informed, his voice sharp and focused. “Please direct everything from my location to the southeast. Even you alone could exorcize him right now.” He hung up and turned to Yuuji and Junpei, determination burning in his eyes. “We’ll pursue him too!”
But before he could take a step, Kento froze in his tracks. Yuuji had collapsed to the floor, blood pooling around him, his breath ragged and shallow.
“Yuuji-kun!” Junpei gasped, rushing to his side, his hands trembling as he lifted Yuuji’s head onto his lap.
“Yuuji-kun!” Kento’s voice was urgent as he knelt beside the boys, his eyes scanning Yuuji’s injuries with growing concern.
Notes: is it funny how it took 30 chapters (including prologue) for me to use that one specific line of makima? Anyways, I wanna be frank with y'all, I never gave a fuck about Junpei. The arc did make me feel a bit sad, but I did not care that much about Junpei. But I kinda wanna have a character that's obsessed with yn and Junpei fits the role. Junpei doesn't really have that much for a character aside from him being apathetic or whatever, so it def be ooc. And yes, he would not be in the scenes as much, because he would be one of those “managers” so yah :DDDD. Now we have an obsessed cute loser in our loot. (Totally not my type) Or maybe Junpei might appear more because I kinda like the type of guy who would do anything for you, loser vibe teehee) Also, another reason why I wrote this arc is because I want yn to hate Mahito and have a reason to beat that shit because I HATE HIM.

Empresses in the Palace
Ep 28
Team Nian can do nothing but win. lolololololol honestly it's hilarious because I hate the emperor and it must be excruciating to have to bite his tongue every time he wants to act against this family. They're just running absolutely wild, stepping up and down his back, and he has to say thank u dear may I have another? 😌
Need to give credit to chasingdramas.com - without whom I would have NO idea what the hell empress and Hua Fei are word-dueling about at the start of this episode.
Now General Nian is tearing down people's houses, making dozens of citizens homeless, to build fancier gardens. His residence is akin to a princes! AHAHAHAHA the emperor has to swallow it down and smile. I love this song.
He won't let uncle see his mom because he knows she would get the empress and empress doweger all fired up 🙈
The comedy continues as the empress is setting up a whole elaborate play as Zhen Huan watches on with, I think (I hope) dubious eyes. oh noe! woe is me!! i am in horrible agony but that dastardly general nian summoned away all the available doctors in the palace at noon for his sick wife! and then, in a COMPLETE COINCIDENCE, I suddenly fell ill myself! oh the agony that I suffer through, such that I must alert every concubine in the palace to witness my suffering attend to me! but don't notify the emperor, who happens to be having a night in with the general's sister! i will just suffer here IN SILENCE. LIKE A VICTIM. 😢
masterful gambit, madame.
The emperor blank-faced watching the glowing Hua Fei as she receives her Imperial Consort Robes was absolutely chilling. Sometimes this drama is so GOOD.
Hell is empty because all the devils are here.
They've pushed him to the point of having to caution Nian... but idk how the emperor feels about being backed into a corner like that. He'll get rid of that family when he's ready and not a moment sooner.
Zhan Huan doing some investigating with her doctor minion. That's right, girl! She's got the empresses' number (good); she thinks she and the empress are on the same team (bad).
Emperor still enjoys playing poli-sci nerds with Zhen Huan. We'll see how long that lasts.
He totally trolled Hua Fei with the garment (or allowed the trolling to happen)
Ling Long set up Consort Qi so well 👏. See baby, I told you to quit whining and be proactive. Now we're cooking.

The Devil's Bride
Aurora Jaeger, Eren's long-lost childhood friend, was taken from him when they were children. After years of suffering under Marleyan control, Aurora is reunited with Eren while he’s undercover in Marley, igniting a bond neither of them expected. Despite her gentle nature, Aurora breaks her vow of pacifism to save Eren’s life, solidifying their deep connection. Secretly married before the Raid on Liberio, Aurora is swept into Eren's world of chaos and destruction. As the Scouts learn of her existence, tensions rise on the airship home. Mikasa’s heart shatters, and Levi demands answers. And Eren will stop at nothing to protect the only light left in his dark world—his bride, Aurora.
In this journey of love, loyalty, and war, Aurora must reconcile her innocent heart with the brutal reality of the man she loves, while Eren faces the truth of what he’s become. (Eren x OC)
Chapter Fifteen
Eren sat on the cold stone floor of his cell, his hands resting on his knees, head bowed. The dim light flickered above him, casting long shadows on the damp walls. The silence was suffocating, yet his mind raced. He couldn't stop thinking about Aurora—her soft smile, the warmth of her touch, and the love she had given him unconditionally.
But now, everything was clear. Aurora’s royal lineage wasn’t just a coincidence; it was the missing piece of the puzzle Eren had been struggling to assemble. Knowing the truth about her bloodline added a whole new layer to his plans. He would protect Aurora with everything he had. No one—no one—could ever learn what she truly was. Not yet.
Eren closed his eyes, sinking into the memories he had unlocked through the War Hammer Titan. He focused, pulling the threads of Clive’s past to the forefront of his mind, watching them unravel with vivid clarity.
…
He was inside Clive’s body again. Through his eyes, Eren saw the intricate, cruel world of the Tybur family. Clive stood in one of their elaborate, coldly decorated halls, surrounded by opulence. But all that wealth and power only masked the hatred and cruelty they harbored toward their own kind—Eldians.
The Tyburs had summoned Clive to their estate to unlock the mysteries behind their own power. In particular, Clive was tasked with studying Nadia, the beautiful, soft-spoken woman with platinum blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Eren felt Clive’s emotions swell as he remembered how Nadia had first been presented to him like an object, bruised and battered from the Tyburs’ abuse. She was an enigma, and the Tyburs were obsessed with unlocking whatever secrets lay in her blood.
Eren could feel Clive’s anger simmer beneath the surface. How could they treat someone so kind, so gentle, like she was nothing more than a tool? Clive kept his fury buried, knowing that to lash out would only ensure his own death. But over the months, as he spent more time with Nadia, he began to fall in love with her.
The Tyburs wanted to use her, to mold her into a weapon for their own purposes. But Clive wouldn’t allow it. The anger and love he felt for Nadia ignited something deep within him—a need to protect her at any cost. He couldn’t let the Tyburs have her.
And so, he devised a desperate plan.
…
Eren’s vision shifted to the moment of Clive’s betrayal. It was a chaotic scene—Clive sprinted through the Tybur estate in the dead of night, Nadia’s hand clutched tightly in his own. He had already injected himself with titan fluid, his heart pounding as he waited for the transformation to take hold. They were being chased, Tybur guards closing in on them, shouting orders to capture them alive.
Clive stumbled but kept running, knowing he only had seconds. As his body began to twist and contort, the terrifying agony of the titan transformation overtook him. With a deafening roar, his pure titan form burst forth, muscles rippling as he tore through the estate, scattering guards like leaves in a storm.
Eren saw everything through Clive’s eyes—saw him towering over the Tybur patriarch, who held the power of the War Hammer Titan. With a savage swipe, Clive's pure titan slammed the man into the ground. Before anyone could react, Clive ripped him apart, consuming his flesh and spinal fluid in a single, horrific bite.
The War Hammer Titan’s power surged through Clive’s veins, transforming him in an instant. White, sinewy armor encased his titan’s body, and a massive hammer materialized in his hand. The guards could do nothing but watch in horror as Clive wielded the War Hammer like a god, obliterating everything in his path.
With Nadia in his grasp, Clive fled the estate, smashing through walls and buildings, unstoppable in his new titan form.
…
The vision shifted again, and Eren found himself on a boat. The creak of wood and the splash of waves filled his ears as Clive—now in human form—sat beside Nadia. His clothes were soaked, his body exhausted from the transformation, but there was a fierce determination in his eyes.
He had stolen a boat, and they were sailing across the ocean toward Paradis. Nadia clung to his side, terrified but relieved to finally be free of the Tybur family’s grip. Clive wrapped an arm around her, whispering reassurances as the coastline of Paradis came into view.
…
Eren’s vision blurred as the memory shifted to their arrival at Wall Maria. Clive, still holding Nadia, transformed into the War Hammer Titan one final time to carry them to safety. Eren could feel Clive’s exhaustion—his body was weakening. But still, he ran, smashing through hordes of pure titans that tried to intercept them as they crossed the open land toward Shiganshina.
When they finally reached the walls, Clive collapsed in exhaustion. He had given everything to bring Nadia to safety. They found a small house in Shiganshina, moving in next to the Jaeger family, and began a new life under new identities.
Years passed. Clive and Nadia married. They eventually had a daughter—Aurora. For a time, they were happy, living quietly in their little home. But the Tyburs had not forgotten them.
The final memory hit Eren like a punch to the gut.
It was Clive’s last day. His body had grown weak from his thirteen-year curse, and he knew he could no longer protect his family. The Tyburs found them, with the Jaw titan assisting them and leading the attack. Clive fought back with everything he had, wielding his own War Hammer one final time.
But he was too weak. The Jaw Titan overpowered him, breaking through his armor. In his last moments, Clive looked back at Nadia and Aurora, his heart breaking as he realized he couldn’t save them.
Lara injected herself with titan serum and transformed into a pure titan— roaring as she devoured Clive, reclaiming the power of the War Hammer Titan for the Tybur family.
…
The vision faded, and Eren opened his eyes, his heart pounding in his chest. He sat in the darkness of his cell, his mind racing as he pieced everything together.
It all made sense now. The Tyburs had kept Aurora as a slave not just out of cruelty, but because of the bloodline she carried—the same royal blood that ran through her mother.
Eren clenched his fists. They took everything from her. From Clive, from Nadia. From Aurora.
And now, the Tyburs were gone. Eren had seen to that. He had taken the War Hammer Titan’s power for himself, and with it, he would carve a path toward freedom.
Aurora’s royal blood was the key to everything. And Eren would make damn sure no one ever found out. Not the Military Police, not the government. Not even Aurora herself.
With renewed resolve, Eren leaned back against the wall, a dangerous glint in his eyes.
No one would ever take Aurora away from him. Not now. Not ever.
And when the time came, he would burn the world to the ground to make sure of it.
As Eren continued to sit motionless on the edge of the bench, his hands resting on his knees, green eyes sharp as the dim light flickered above him. Footsteps echoed down the corridor, and he tilted his head slightly, recognizing the soft but deliberate tread.
Queen Historia Reiss entered, her golden hair glinting in the faint light. Dressed in a simple but elegant gown, she carried the quiet authority that had come to define her reign. Her piercing blue eyes swept the cell with an unreadable expression. Behind her, two guards followed, hands resting on the straps of their rifles.
“Leave us,” Historia ordered softly, not sparing the guards a second glance.
The two soldiers exchanged hesitant looks but gave curt nods before retreating through the door, the clang of it shutting behind them resonating through the chamber. The room grew still.
Eren looked up at her, his expression calm but watchful. Historia stepped closer to the bars, her arms folded loosely in front of her. “Eren,” she began, arching a brow. “What’s this I’ve been hearing about you bringing back a wife?”
Eren’s lips twitched slightly—a ghost of a smile, as if amused by how quickly news traveled. “Didn’t think it’d take long for word to get to you.”
Historia shook her head, leaning against the cold metal bars. “You’ve managed to leave everyone in shock—again. A wife, Eren? How did this even happen?”
Eren shifted slightly, his gaze dropping for a moment before meeting hers again. “Her name is Aurora. We’ve known each other since we were kids in Shiganshina. She was my first friend.”
Historia’s brow furrowed. “Since Shiganshina?” she repeated, a flicker of surprise crossing her features. “Why didn’t you ever mention her?”
Eren exhaled slowly, rubbing the back of his neck. “Because after she disappeared, I thought she was gone for good. The Tyburs took her and her family. They enslaved her in Marley. I found her while I was undercover.”
Historia’s expression softened, and for a moment, the hard edges of the queen disappeared, replaced by the kind-hearted girl Eren had once known. “And you brought her back with you,” she said quietly, understanding dawning in her voice.
Eren nodded, his gaze turning somber. “I had to. I couldn’t leave her there, not after everything they did to her.” His voice dropped, thick with emotion. “She’s been through enough.”
Historia studied him for a long moment, her blue eyes searching his face. “You love her.”
It wasn’t a question, and Eren didn’t bother denying it. “Yeah. I do.”
A brief silence settled between them, heavy with unspoken words. Then Historia gave a small sigh, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. “I can understand why you brought her back. But Eren… you know this complicates things.”
“I know,” Eren said, his voice low but resolute. “That’s why I need your help.”
Historia tilted her head slightly, her gaze curious. “What kind of help?”
“Aurora is with the scouts right now, and Floch is keeping an eye on her,” Eren explained. “But I’d feel better if she was with you. I know the scouts are on edge, and I can’t trust the MPs or the Garrison. But if Aurora is under your protection, no one would dare touch her.”
Historia’s lips pressed into a thin line as she considered his words. “That’s a big ask, Eren. The MPs are already on high alert after what happened in Marley. Bringing her here won’t go unnoticed.”
“I know,” Eren said quietly. “But Aurora isn’t just someone I love—she’s important. I need her safe, Historia. She’s…” He trailed off, his eyes darkening as he carefully chose his words. “She’s everything to me.”
Historia studied him, her expression softening. “Alright,” she said finally. “I’ll take her in. But you owe me for this, Eren.”
A rare smile flickered across Eren’s face—one of gratitude rather than triumph. “Thank you.”
Historia gave a small nod, but the weight of the situation wasn’t lost on her. “And what about you? What happens next?”
Eren’s eyes hardened, the warmth in his expression replaced by cold determination. “Floch is rounding up our people from every branch of the military. When the time comes, I’m breaking out of this cell.”
“And then what?” Historia asked, her voice low and serious.
“I’ll take control,” Eren said flatly. “The old brass has to go. They’ve already failed us, and they’ll fail us again if we let them.”
Historia leaned in slightly, her gaze steady. “You know they won’t give up without a fight.”
“They won’t have a choice,” Eren replied, his voice cold. “With the Jaegerists in place, we’ll dismantle the old system. And when the people look for guidance, they’ll listen to you.”
Historia crossed her arms, her expression thoughtful. “You’re expecting me to back you.”
“Yes,” Eren said simply. “You’re the queen. The people trust you. They’ll follow your lead.”
“And what exactly are you asking me to support, Eren?” Historia’s voice was sharp now, though not unkind. “Is this about the Rumbling?”
Eren’s jaw tightened. “You know the answer to that.”
Historia sighed deeply, rubbing her temples. “I knew this day would come. I just didn’t think it would come so soon.”
Eren’s eyes softened, just for a moment. “I told you this was the only way.”
Historia met his gaze, and for a long moment, they stood in silence—two friends bound by impossible choices. Finally, she gave a reluctant nod. “Alright, Eren. I’ll support you.”
Eren exhaled, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. “Thank you.”
“Just... make sure you know what you’re doing,” Historia warned softly. “Because once this starts, there’s no going back.”
Eren’s gaze was steady, filled with quiet resolve. “I know. But this is the only way to keep Aurora safe. To keep all of us safe.”
With that, Historia gave him a final, lingering look before stepping back from the bars. “I’ll get Aurora tomorrow,” she said. “I’ll keep her safe.”
Eren gave a curt nod. “That’s all I need.”
Historia turned toward the door, pausing just long enough to glance over her shoulder. “Take care of yourself, Eren. You might need it.”
Eren watched as the door swung shut behind her, leaving him alone once again in the dim light of the cell. But this time, he didn’t feel the crushing weight of isolation.
He had Aurora. He had a plan. And soon, everything would fall into place.
…
Aurora sat by the window in the room the Scouts had given her, staring out at the bustling streets of Paradis below. The sun filtered through the curtains, casting soft shadows on the floor, but she felt none of its warmth. Her fingers twisted together nervously in her lap, her mind filled with questions that had no answers.
Where was Eren? Was he okay? When would she see him again?
The uncertainty gnawed at her. Every moment away from Eren felt unbearable, and the weight of being in this strange place, surrounded by people who didn’t know or trust her, made it worse. These were Eren’s comrades, the ones he had fought alongside for years. But to Aurora, they were strangers. Their eyes—especially Levi’s—followed her with a quiet suspicion, an unspoken doubt that lingered in the air.
She could feel it, the distrust hanging heavy in the room like a suffocating fog.
Mikasa, in particular, was the hardest to face. Every time Aurora caught Mikasa’s gaze, it was like being pierced with a thousand knives. Mikasa didn’t have to say anything; the way she looked at Aurora said it all—resentment, jealousy, heartbreak. As if Aurora had stolen something precious from her.
Aurora sighed softly, her fingers tightening around the hem of her dress. She wished she could just go back to the cabin. Back to the place where she felt safe, where she could be with Eren without the weight of the world pressing down on them. But that wasn’t possible, not now. She was here, in Paradis, far from the life she had grown used to over the past few months.
A soft knock at the door broke her thoughts. The door creaked open, and Hange stepped inside, her usual enthusiasm tempered by a cautious smile. “Hey there, Aurora,” Hange said, her tone light but gentle. “How are you holding up?”
Aurora offered a small smile in return, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I’m... managing,” she replied, her voice soft.
Hange walked over and took a seat on the edge of the bed, studying her curiously. “I know this is a lot to take in,” Hange said, her voice softening. “But I want you to know that you’re safe here. Eren... well, he’s in a bit of a situation, but he’ll be fine.”
Aurora nodded, though the knot of anxiety in her chest remained. “I just... I don’t know anyone here. It’s strange being surrounded by his comrades and feeling like an outsider.”
Hange tilted her head sympathetically. “It’s understandable. You’ve been through a lot, and now you’re in a completely different world. But trust me, the others will come around. They just need some time.”
Aurora glanced out the window again, her brow furrowed. “I feel like they don’t trust me.”
Hange’s eyes softened. “It’s not that they don’t trust you... well, not exactly. It’s just that Eren’s been keeping a lot of secrets, and bringing you back was a surprise to everyone. Levi, in particular, doesn’t like surprises.”
“Levi,” Aurora whispered, her fingers twisting tighter. “I can feel how much he distrusts me.”
Hange chuckled softly, though there was no humor in her voice. “Levi’s... protective. He doesn’t trust easily, especially when it comes to Eren. They’ve been through a lot together, and Levi’s just trying to figure out what’s going on.”
Aurora nodded, understanding, but it didn’t ease the weight on her chest. “And Mikasa?” she asked quietly, her voice almost trembling. “She looks at me like...”
“Like you’ve taken something from her?” Hange finished gently, watching Aurora closely. “Mikasa has... complicated feelings about Eren. They’ve been close for years, and she cares about him—deeply. Seeing you with him... it’s hard for her.”
Aurora swallowed, her throat tight. “I never meant to hurt her.”
“I know,” Hange said, her voice kind. “But feelings don’t always work the way we want them to. Give her time. She’ll come around.”
The door opened again, and this time Floch stepped in, offering Aurora a friendly nod. “You okay in here?” he asked, his tone casual but concerned.
Aurora managed a small smile. “I’m fine. Just... thinking.”
Floch crossed his arms, leaning against the doorframe. “Don’t worry about Levi or the others. They’ll get over it. Eren asked me to look after you, so you’ve got nothing to worry about while you’re here.”
“I appreciate that,” Aurora said quietly, though the uncertainty still lingered in her heart.
Floch glanced at Hange, then back at Aurora. “You know, Eren’s going to need all the support he can get when he comes back. He’s got a plan, a vision for this island’s future. And you’re a part of that now.”
Aurora’s chest tightened at the mention of Eren’s plan. She knew what Floch meant—the Rumbling. The weight of it pressed down on her again, the guilt she had been carrying ever since Eren told her what he was planning to do. She nodded, her throat too tight to speak.
Just as Floch was about to say something else, there was another knock at the door. This time, it was Armin. He stepped inside cautiously, offering Aurora a gentle smile.
“Hey,” Armin said softly. “I just wanted to check on you.”
Aurora smiled, grateful for his kindness. “Thank you. I’m... trying to adjust.”
Armin nodded, understanding. “It’s not easy, I know. But we’re all here to help. Eren’s our friend... and now you are too.”
The sincerity in his words brought a warmth to Aurora’s heart, but before she could respond, Levi appeared in the doorway, his sharp eyes sweeping the room.
“We need to talk,” Levi said flatly, his gaze locking onto Aurora.
He stood in the doorway, his arms crossed and his eyes as sharp as ever. Aurora looked up, startled by his sudden presence, but quickly composed herself. His gaze was intense, as if he could see straight through her.
"Enough resting," Levi said, his voice curt. "I need to know what you can do."
Aurora blinked, confused. "What do you mean?"
Levi stepped further into the room, his boots barely making a sound as he approached. "We don’t have time for passengers. If you’re staying here, you need to prove you’re useful. So what are your skills? What can you do to help?"
The tension in the room thickened. Aurora shifted in her seat, feeling the pressure of Levi’s unrelenting stare. The other scouts stood just behind Levi, their expressions curious but guarded. Hange, ever curious, leaned in slightly, clearly intrigued by where this conversation might lead.
Aurora took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. “I’m not a soldier,” she began, her voice steady but soft. “I’ve never been trained to fight.” She hesitated for a moment before meeting Levi’s eyes. “But I am a herbalist.”
“A herbalist?” Levi asked, skepticism clear in his tone.
“Yes,” Aurora said, more confidently now. “I’ve been studying plants and natural remedies my whole life. When Eren and I were hiding in Marley, I spent a lot of time gathering herbs and experimenting with different mixtures.” She reached into the bag she always kept close by, pulling out a small, worn notebook. “Here.”
She handed the notebook to Levi, who glanced down at it, his expression unreadable. Hange stepped closer, peering over Levi’s shoulder, her eyes lighting up with interest.
“What’s this?” Hange asked eagerly.
“It’s my notes,” Aurora explained. “Over the last seven months, I documented everything I learned about the local plants near where Eren and I stayed. I created elixirs and remedies, mostly to help Eren. He... he was tired often after gathering information all day, and I wanted to do something to help him.”
Levi flipped through the pages, his eyes scanning the detailed illustrations of plants and the careful handwriting that filled every corner. Hange’s face lit up with excitement as she read over his shoulder.
Aurora reached into her bag again, this time pulling out several small vials filled with various liquids. “These are the elixirs I made,” she said, holding them out for the others to see. “I gave them to Eren regularly. They helped raise his stamina, increased his recovery time, and allowed him to transform multiple times in succession during the raid on Liberio.”
Levi raised an eyebrow, but it was Hange who reacted first, her excitement barely contained. “Wait, that’s how Eren was able to transform three times during the raid?” she asked, her eyes wide. “It wasn’t just his Titan powers? It was because of these?”
Aurora nodded. “Yes. He had been taking them for weeks before the raid. I... I didn’t know if they would work the way I hoped, but they did.”
Hange practically bounced on her heels, reaching out to take one of the vials from Aurora’s hand. She held it up to the light, examining the contents with a gleam in her eyes. “This is fascinating! You managed to create something that enhances a Titan shifter’s abilities? How did you even figure this out?”
Aurora gave a small, nervous smile. “It wasn’t easy. I spent a lot of time experimenting, trying different combinations of herbs and plants. Eren was... well, he was my test subject, I guess.”
Levi handed the notebook to Hange, who eagerly accepted it and began flipping through it with intense focus. He glanced back at Aurora, his expression still unreadable but slightly less skeptical than before.
“And these elixirs,” Levi said slowly, “they actually made a difference?”
Aurora nodded again. “Yes. They helped Eren recover faster, and they gave him the stamina he needed to transform multiple times. Without them... I don’t think he would have been able to do what he did in Liberio.”
Levi was silent for a moment, his sharp eyes narrowing as he processed the information. He then turned to Hange. “Thoughts?”
Hange’s eyes were practically glowing with excitement as she clutched the notebook to her chest. “I think we’ve just stumbled upon something incredible, Levi. If these elixirs can do what she says they can... this could change everything.”
Levi looked back at Aurora, his expression still hard but slightly less cold than before. “Alright,” he said finally. “You’re not completely useless.”
Aurora let out a breath she didn’t realize she had been holding, feeling a small weight lift off her shoulders. “Thank you,” she said quietly.
“But,” Levi added, his voice sharp again, “I’ll be keeping an eye on you. If you’re hiding anything else, or if those elixirs have any... side effects, you’ll answer to me. Understood?”
Aurora nodded quickly. “Understood.”
Levi gave her one last long look before turning on his heel and heading for the door. Hange, still clutching the notebook, followed close behind, muttering excitedly to herself about the possibilities of using these elixirs in the field.
As the door clicked shut behind them, Aurora exhaled, sinking back into her chair. The room was quiet now, the tension having lifted somewhat, but the unease still lingered.
She had proven herself useful, for now. But there was still so much more she was keeping from them—about Eren, about his plans, and most importantly, about her own past.
And she wasn’t sure how much longer she could keep those secrets buried.

Scars
Summary: After relocating his lonely Dove to his bedroom; Doflamingo notices a strange behavior and confronts her about it
Pairing: Donquixote Doflamingo x Saint Maria (OC)
Word Count: 2.6K
Warnings: Suggestive Themes, Author Self-Indulgence/(probably) ooc Doffy
Notes: More Lore based so yippe! Italics is either thoughts or emphasis on smth and I make it decently clear when it's thinking. Line breaks indicate time passing/ major scene change.
The dance had definitely sent the message intended, Maria no longer needed to even speak and she was granted whatever she pleased, the trash that was debating trying to woo her had silenced itself in fear of their king. One thing however had slowed and that was the two’s relationship.
Ironically the most heated things got between the birds the night of the dance was the dance itself. The two birds had begun drinking and while Maria had stayed attached to Doflamingo’s hip her drinking was excessive to say the least and by the time guests left she could hardly stand straight and was escorted to her quarters where she ejected bile off her balcony. By morning her head had been pounding and her memory after the serenade was fuzzy. To make matters worse, Doflamingo had quickly become swamped with work as his black market empire was booming with business and opportunities, particularly in the devil fruit trade. The only time the two had managed to see each other was pacing glances, otherwise Doflamingo was locked away in his office.
“I wish Doffy wasn’t so busy.” Maria huffed to Penny while laying in a chair by the pool with the comfort of a one piece swimsuit that to no surprise was a shade of pink.
“I understand my lady.” Penny sympathized, it hurt to see her master so lonely. The other family, while they did keep her company, were also busy and being dispatched to various locations along the Grand Line, making Maria even more alone in the large palace. “Would you like me to grab you a novel from the library and refill your lemonade?”
“Sure, maybe if I get caught up in a good book, he’ll pull away from his desk.” Maria placed a hand above her head to only heighten her woes. Penny quickly went to work, first refilling her master's drink before getting stuck in the library, she was unsure what her master enjoyed reading. Come to think of it, she didn’t think anyone really knew much about her master, Doflamingo and Penny knew she was a celestial dragon and she had consumed a devil fruit but other than that, they were in the dark on the young lady's past and many of her preferences.
Penny took a leap of faith based on how her master had behaved, grabbing a fairytale about a maiden trapped in a tower with extraordinarily long hair, rather befitting her master. By the time she had returned to the poolside Maria was laying on her stomach watching the grass in agony.
“Forgive me, my lady. I have returned.” She placed the fairytale on the table beside her master’s lemonade. Maria rolled over and gasped, a small smile crept to her face.
“This is it! This is the fairytale that made me long for my devil fruit!” She swiped the book up and had rapidly become absorbed by the story, unconsciously letting her hair grow as she read the words. Penny, noticing the sun's position, snuck into the palace to get a tray for her masters lunch.
The rest of the day sailed by as Maria had simply stayed by the pool reading the thick fairytale until it was time to rest. As she laid her head down for the night she sighed, no matter how comfortable this bed was it was lonely and for a maiden like her she wanted to hold onto her prince’s arm, or wrap around him for comfort while she slept.
Breakfast was lonely as Penny had been summoned by the young master for reasons unknown only leaving a note with Maria’s breakfast stating ‘keep yourself busy my lady I have urgent matters to take care of.’ Maria had occupied herself in the library for the day reading and daydreaming.
Penny on the other hand was busy with assistance of a few other castle servants moving things from Maria’s room into Doflamingo’s. It was a peculiar request since the young master never dared sleep with someone around. Once the rooms had been set up Penny went to retrieve her lady who at this point had a finished fairytale on her chest and was duly looking towards the ceiling.
“My lady, I have something I must show you.” Penny’s voice is cheerful to try and change the mood of her master. Maria looked over, she clearly could not handle being alone this long as she hopped up realizing she hadn’t just made up hearing Penny.
“Penny oh thank goodness!” She stood beside her servant. “What do you have to show me?” Her eyes were shining with childish wonder and she stood on her tiptoes.
“Come this way!” Penny almost had to run a few times due to Maria skipping along, overjoyed to finally have company.
The two arrived at a large and fancy wooden door after climbing a couple flights of stairs in one of the towers of the castle.
“Here you are, this will be your new room.” Penny opened the doors showing a bed that must have been twice the size of her previous one, a chair that was also rather large and an even bigger balcony doorway. Furniture from her old room was beside furniture larger variants of her own. Despite the grandness of it all Maria had felt a little disappointed, she didn’t need a larger room, she needed company. “Oh and one other thing. This room is shared with the young master.” Maria looked at Penny overjoyed that she’d finally get to spend some time with her lover even if it was just sleeping, it was something. “I take it this pleases you my lady?” Penny couldn’t help but giggle, her master when joyous was so sweet.
“It’s amazing, I can’t wait to cuddle up with him.” She lightly sang. “I bet his heart beat when resting is deep like his voice.” She shivered at the thought of laying on his tanned chest, one ear pressed to his left side, a simple ba-dump, ba-dump in her ear, sending her to rest.
After what seemed like the longest day of her life in luxury, it had finally come time for bed, she had already been in the room and was just finishing her hair by the time Doflamingo had stepped in.
“Doffy there you are.” Her voice was gentle as she heard his footsteps approach from behind, her eyes closed. She felt his coat tickle her back as it was hung on the chair she sat in.
“Good evening my Dove.” Once Maria had finished her hair she pulled the large man into an embrace which he returned. She sighed in contentment, she needed this so much and now she had it. “You miss me that bad, it’s only been a few days.” He chuckled, he wouldn’t dare admit it, not now at least. But he had missed the girl's gentle handling of him, the fireworks that shot off in her eyes when he addressed her, the way she would melt for him.
“You’ve had the luxury of being busy the whole time.” Maria’s sass did not go unnoticed as she feigned falling over, only to be swiftly caught. “I’ve had to keep myself entertained while you send the whole family away and even take my slave from me.” A small smirk formed on her lips as Doflamingo picked her up. That sass she had developed since the dance had certainly intrigued him, just how long could she manage that charade of minor defiance before it collapsed into helplessness.
“Luxury?” He sat down on the bed, kicking his shoes off. “Boring calls on transponder snails, charting delivery routes and negotiating sound like luxury to you?” One hand rested on her hip as she sat in his lap, the other gently in her hair and pressing against her neck just so slightly. Maria then played innocent, giving a little pout.
“What can I say I missed you, I can’t help but wish you’d set some time for me.” She grabbed at his open shirt, placing a kiss on his cheek. Doflamingo then fell back and pulled her with him so she was against his chest.
“Does that pretty little brain have no clue why I put you in my room?” He squeezed her neck every so slightly, a new wave of electricity darted through Maria who tried to play it off with a little giggle.
“I do, I just think I deserve more than just you at the end of the day.” She still challenged him playfully, sitting up ever so slightly on his chest, staring into his crimson lenses. His hand stiffened on her neck.
“Isn’t someone being greedy?” He grinned, this game of chicken would end with him being a winner, he would break her just like the dance. Maria shivered and let her eyelashes dance a little, only to be greeted with a deep chuckle. Maria had decided while she could continue this game, tonight was not the night for it and layed down kissing his chin.
“I can’t help that I miss my Doffy.” Sensing her submit, he let his hand on her neck slide down her hip, resting on her back. She placed her ear on his chest listening to the deep beats of his heart. Her eyes shut with a yawn.
“You can rest easy Dove, I'll watch over you.” His deep voice quiet, still sent rumblings through her body.
“You rest too, You need it with how busy you are.” She lightly patted his face only to be greeted with a small chuckle. That innocent care was adorable. “Goodnight Doffy, I love you…” Maria’s tired voice managed before she entered the realm of sleep. Doflamingo rubbed her back mumbling the same to her before staring at the ceiling, while this was nice he dared not sleep, not in front of her.
This game continued every night, one entered to win the other to entertain herself and her lover. Doflamingo finally started to have time for her once more and had noticed a few oddities. She dared not change in front of him and she never exposed her midsection. Maybe there was nothing to it but still, it began to bother him. Why wouldn’t she do him that honor. Finally after a few weeks the game had reached a new point, while Maria’s goal had stayed the same, Doflamingo had a new one. Figure out what she was hiding from him, he should know everything about her, even if it was hard to fit into the schedule as she managed to deflect anything past what he’d already known. Tonight was different.
“I’ll be right back Doffy, I just want to change before bed.” She grabbed her nightgown and headed to the private restroom that was off their bedroom. After she had opened the door, before she could step through a string had shut it.
“Why don’t you change in front of me?” He hunched over while sitting in bed, a smirk on his face. Maria felt her face flare up. She wanted to, but she couldn’t. He couldn’t see her that way, not yet.
“A-another time Doffy. I’m tired and can’t really give you a show.” She went to move the doorknob only for it to not move.
“I don’t need a show when I have you.” She bit her lip, he was saying all the right things, they had been resting together for a few weeks, no he couldn’t see that.
“I-I can't, I'm sorry.” It was scary, this was the first proper disagreement the two had gotten into, she never wanted to upset him but she couldn’t show him. He was growing annoyed, a vein popping on his forehead, what could she not show him.
“Dove, I’m not asking.” His voice was laced with frustration. Maria shivered and began shaking. She was not ready to confront that, not ready for him to realize she was not as perfect as she seemed.
“P-please another time.” She was trembling, her voice quiet and shaken, it sounded like… she was crying. She heard him stand and begin to step over. She had done it, she made him angry. She fell to her knees with a thud before curling up. She then felt his strings attached and no matter how hard she fought to stay down she rose to her feet. His silence was scaring her the most. She could barely make him out through her teary eyes. She felt his strings disappear and her heart stopped as she felt his embrace. Her voice was barely audible. “D-Doffy…” She could hear and feel each of his breaths, while obviously frustrated he had been denied this was something she didn’t know even she had with him. The ability to say no sometimes.
“I’ll drop it for tonight.” He grumbled. He squeezed her a little tighter before letting go and turning to the bed. “I’ll wait for you in bed.” His pouting like a spoiled child not getting the toy he wanted not going unnoticed by Maria.
“Doffy wait.” Maria, seeing she could trust her partner regardless, decided she’d grant his request. “I’ll give you what you want, just I’m sorry.” He turned with an eyebrow raised. Why was she sorry? She took a deep breath as she took off her coat, then undid her top and slid it off. Immediately above her right hip he saw something. A small scar, no bigger than the head of an arrow stood out from her otherwise spotless skin. This is what she was hiding from him? “I’m sorry I’m not perfect, I’m sorry I was stuck in the trash. I’m sorry-” She was cut off by a string yanking her into his arms. She began to sob into his shoulder. Her biggest worry was him seeing the effect of her living among the trash, the mark they had left. What broke her from her sobs was a simple question.
“Who?”
“A small island near Sabaody Archipelago… I slipped up while trying to get myself something to eat and they caught me…” She felt him clutch her tighter to him. “I didn’t want you to be ashamed of me, for being beaten by trash… I felt like if you ever found out you’d throw me away…” Hearing this talk from her felt so strange, she was divine, she was beautiful, she was so loving to him in such a way, that made him cave from his divinity, that made him indulge in temptation.
“My Dove, I’d never throw you away.” He pulled her away, wiping the tears from her eyes, she needed him to return this gentle love she so often blessed him with. “You are radiant, you are beauty.” His right hand stays on her cheek, while his left glides down and caresses her scar. She never expected him to return her love in this way. Even behind those crimson lenses she felt his eyes locked in on her, genuine attraction, gentle affection, love. “You are my heaven just as I am yours.” Maria placed her forehead against his. At that moment, they both knew destiny, fate, true love. Whatever it was had brought them together and neither had planned on leaving. One tender moment leads to another, a sweet embrace of both arms and lips. Both indulging themselves in what could only be known as heaven.
Maria had laid upon his chest, in only her under garments listening to his heart beat as she drifted off to sleep. Doflamingo stared once more at the ceiling before deciding he needed a little rest and his Dove was safe in his arms. It had been the first time since he himself was a child he let himself rest in front of someone else and it was the first time in a long long time he had been granted a peaceful night's rest.

A Mother's Nightmare
(A little horror fic set in @idiotwithanipad 's Gore AU, ft Gore Mary and my oc Silver.
Tw: Burnings.)
"Didst thou truly think ye could hide from the law forever, Witch?"
Mary spits the dirt from between her lips after they threw her to the ground.
Yes. After all this time, yes.
Time rots everything. Plants. Meat. Fruit. Hope, as well as Fear.
She had grown too complacent. Safely secluded in her forest. No one dared to tread upon the realm of the Bone Witch. That be one of many names they have given to her over the years. Burned beside the great manor of Bone Hall, coincidentally that which she would become in her resurrected form. Bone and Flame. Smoke and Rage.
For an endless age, she has claimed the land as her own. Scourging out the menfolk and protecting the lost maids and children. A demon and an angel, depending on who doth trespass on her home.
She thought none would dare to come for her again. She was a fool.
Somehow they bind her wrists, trapping her in chains of iron that stifle her magic. Once again, she be but a helpless woman, forced to her knees at the foot of Righteous Men. Her Masters. Her betters.
A spit at his boot earns her a kick to the chin. Her skinless jaw breaks and shifts to one side. It takes a fierce shake of her head to slot it back in.
"Disgusting creature. I should have them grind your bones to powder and scatter it upon the wind." The Witchfinder sneers.
It can't be. Had she a heart, it would skip a beat.
How is it he still lives? Did she not cause him to burn at her execution?
She had gone to the pyre a faithful woman. All her life, she had trusted the Lord. It was in His holy name that she did gather herbs and mix them to aid others in the villages with teas and poultices. T'were not Witchcraft. T'was not the devil's work. Her wards and workings were to protect from Lucifer, not to summon Him.
She had told them as such at her trial. But they did not take heed. The jury had condemned her before she was given chance to speak.
A cursed field. A dead husband.
That was all the proof they needed to seal her fate.
Yet the Vicar had comforted her. Told her that she had nought to fear, so long as she trusts in the Lord. For only He knew her heart. And if she truly be a good Christian, then no harm shall befall her.
As they'd tied the robes around her wrists, she'd taken a breath in. She'd prayed. Our Father. Who art in Heaven. Hallow'd be thy name.
Jesus would save her. Jesus would know that they were mistaken.
The pyre had been lit. The crowd watched with baited breath.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done.
Sweat was dripping from her in panic before the heat rose up. And rise it did as the flames spread quickly. Hot. So very hot. Hotter than any hearth or stove she had worked over before. Do not falter. Do not give up. Trust in Jesus.
Forgive us our trespasses. As we forgive those...
The Witchfinder had smiled at her. A sick smile. The smile of a man who was watching in entertainment. Forgive him? Forgive one such as this?
Flames licked at her feet and she'd let out a cry of pain. And that was only the start.
Deliver us from evil...
Oh God. Oh God, the pain. The pain. She thought nothing could compare to the agony of childbirth, especially when that babe she bore did not live through her first year. Surely after that, she could endure anything. She lived through her lashings, her whipping through the streets as she was dragged behind the cart, the pelting in the stocks.
But, Oh God, this is too much. She can't finish the prayer. All she could do was cry out to God to save her. Jesus. Angels. Anyone.
And none had come.
The only reply to her ever increasing screams and shrieks were the cheers of a bloodthirsty crowd and the sick smile of her executioner. Had this been what Jesus had felt upon the cross? Why he cried out to ask why the Father had forsaken him?
Perhaps the human in him had been used, tricked and abandoned. Just like her.
As her skin had begun to melt, so did her faith.
With her bone chilling screams, she cursed those around her, and God himself.
How dare he. How dare he?!
This was how he saved those who were faithful to him?! This was her reward for her devotion?!
All her life, Mary had quashed down any urge to be angry, to rage against the injustices put against her class and her sex. She had kept her eyes down, her lips shut tight, only spoken to highborns when spoken to first. She had always tried to turn her misfortunes to good. Walking through the world with a song on her lips and imagining the beauty hidden in all things.
There was no escaping the truth of this world now. In those last moments, the veil had fallen. She grit her teeth as her very lips began to burn away. The only balm to the agony was her rage.
If they wanted a witch, then she would give them one.
She would be the most fierce, the most wicked, the most dangerous and wrathful of demons like none they had known before.
The power had exploded from her as her living body perished.
She had sent her great fire upon the Witchfinder. She'd watched him burn and the crowd disperse in fear, scattering like rats.
So how was he here now? After all this time? How did he find her?
"If thou doth wish to burn me a second time, ye will needs the fire of angels. I be immune to your pathetic pyres now, Witchfinder." Mary Guppy seeths.
Once she finds a way to escape these damn chains, she will eviscerate him. Slowly.
Last time was far too merciful.
A hand grips her bonnet and what little remains of her hair, forcing her to look at him.
He is a husk of a charred bone. Just as she.
"Fire be too quick for a demon like you." He snarls at her; "We shalt bind thee tight and throw you down to the bottom of the lake, weigh thee down with boulders to bury ye at the bed. There you can rot for eternity."
Water...That be her one weakness. The one part of her land which she dare not approach aside from the great house.
Perhaps the spirits of the lake will help to free. Perhaps dear ally will....
Wait. Where is he? Where is her oldest friend?
"If you are searching for your pet," smiles the Witchfinder when he sees her eyes darting; "He has already been dealt with."
He points to one of his guards, who holds up a set of furs dripping with blood and....No.
Oh sweet demons. No.
Flecks of skin. And brown hair.
"I believe it shall make a fine rug for my chambers once my wife has washed it."
Mary growls, as her ally would do. She roars out her anger and grief for her most trusted companion. Embers spark uselessly against the iron of her shackles.
She will flay him. Slowly.
She will spear him, mouth to rear, and roast him on a spit. She will take his eyes. His tongue.
Ally. Sweet, beloved, loyal ally.
"And of course...I have one more surprise for you, until you are condemned to your watery tomb." The Witchfinder grins.
What else could he possibly...?
He steps aside.
Mary's jaw drops.
No. Oh no, no, no, no!
Another pyre. Another girl tied to the stake.
A tattered dress of pink and ebony. Ripped from too much struggling. The girl's bruised head is slumped onto her shoulders. She always sleeps, but this be not natural. Someone has knocked her out with a blow to her gentle head. Tears of blood fall from her ears, her nose, her lips.
"Wake up, girl!"
Mary can do nothing as they jab the teenager in her side.
She stirs, eyes opening with confusion. They squint, blind to her surroundings.
Lost in the dark. She cannot see what they are about to do.
"Mummy?" Silver calls out.
It is only when Mary cries out that Silver's pale eyes look towards her direction.
"No...No, not her. Not my little'en, you can't!"
"We can and will. You may have found a way to live through your burning, but your brat will not. By offering up this filthy witchling to the Lord, he will cleanse this land for good."
Silver gasps as she smells a man begin to light a torch from a giant brazier and carries it over to the pyre.
Somehow, the girl knows. Because her mother has warned her many a night of what dangers await beyond the safety of their forest.
"No! Mummy, please! Don't let them! Mummy, save me, please!" The child begs, struggling in vain against her binds.
Only rope. But her powers be in the gentleness of mist. She doth not have her mother's gift of flame.
Mary tries to rush forward but is held back by firm hands. The shackles seem to tighten. Her magic boils, captured and contained, beneath her own skin, only causing hurt to herself.
"Let her go! She be only a child!"
"She is no child. She is a demon. An imp. Watch, Mary Guppy. Watch us cleanse her with holy fire."
Silver's screams grow louder as the pyre is lit. The flames spread and grow at a terrifying speed. Mary does not stop fighting.
Not her. Not her baby. She already lost her once before...
"MUMMY! MUMMY, HELP!"
Mary wails as she remembers the pain. The scalding of her skin. The blistering heat. The torture. The agony. The feeling of helplessness and loss of faith.
Hers had been in a God who abandoned her. Would Silver's be in her? If she did not save her, would her darling girl think she abandoned her?
A mother has one job. One purpose.
And she has failed.
"MUMMY! MUMMY! AAAAAH!"
Silver's pale skin drips like candle wax. Her beautiful hair dissolves. Her dress crumbles into ash that's carried off by the wind. Her daughter. Her perfect daughter.
Never hurt a fly. Never did any wrong.
A good girl. A beautiful girl. Burning.
Stop! Stop! She'll do anything, she'll kneel and bow to anyone, just let her-
Mary sits up, clutching at the remains of her dress at her chest. There is a hand on her bony shoulder. Firm. Warm.
A worried grunt.
Ally is at her side, heavy brow set with concern. He is whole. No blood except for the claw marks on his front and nape. Rest of his skin and fur attached. He is....safe.
She embraces him, as best as she can, as close as she knows he'd be comfortable with. Her hands clasping his face and bringing him close, pressing her forehead to his. His next grunt is softer as he paws at her breast.
"Thank you, old friend. I is most glad to see thee well." She sniffs, as emotional as he's ever seen her be before.
There is a reason she rarely sleeps.
He remains still for a brief period, letting her hold him close, take comfort in his devoted presence. He would never abandon his Mistress.
"....My little'en. I needs to see her. Be she safe?"
Ally grunts and gently wraps his hand around Mary's bony digits.
He leads her to the mound of flowers so she can see for herself. Mary lets go as they arrive and she drops to her knees.
Silver sleeps peacefully. That smile remains on her face as she dreams of fae and dragons and beautiful mermaids to court.
Her darling girl. She is unharmed.
The witch lays down beside her slumbering daughter, her smoke coiling like a giant serpent around the both of them. Nothing shall ever come to threaten her child. Nothing shall ever take her from her mother's arms.
Mary sighs, stroking her daughter's pink fringe from her forehead before laying a kiss with her lipless mouth.
"Mummy's here, little'en. Sleeps now. Mummy will burn the world to keep thee safe."

1, 12, and and 17 for the ask game?
Thank you so much!
Ask Game for Fic Writers
do you know how you want the story to end when you start, or are you just stumbling through the figurative wilderness hoping to find a road?
Answered previously, but the short answer is: I generally have a good idea of the whole story when I start writing, especially since that helps with symbols and foreshadowing, and while I may make some edits I rarely change the whole ending.
12. do you ever have trouble focusing on writing? how do you get around that?
Oh, absolutely. Sometimes I can get myself back into focus by rereading some of my own writing and falling back into the story from there, but other times I just need to take a step back and do something else for a while (video games, drawing, guitar practice, whatever)
17. what is your favorite line you’ve ever written?
Is it a cop-out to say just about every line in The Calling? As a whole I'm really proud of my Prometheus fics and how I was able to play with language for those, but that whole piece especially feels like one of my best. And, not to mention, it's modeled off of the song The Calling by The Amazing Devil, so I'm not only proud of how the lines themselves are written but how the fic subtly echoes the story told in the song.
Here's a segment from the climax for you:
His words gave you resolution. You shifted your grip on the spear, swallowing the knot of emotion in your throat. He knew there was a future out there, waiting for you. He knew what you would become. He knew it was worth the pain- or, as he’d said, you knew it yourself, and his words were only a lens coloring your own thoughts. Some part of you knew what came next. Some part of you strove for it. It was the only way forward. You tightened your grip, summoning your strength. (Take what you’ve got make it yours) Then you buried the tip of the spear in your own stomach, slashing that scar apart at the seams. And the fire consumed you. All you remembered was the agony of it. You couldn’t say you ever lost consciousness - that was impossible in the Dreaming, as there was no deeper level to go - but there came a point in which the world simply went blank around you. Your mind refused to process anything but the pain. Everything else around you ceased to have meaning.
I could do a whole "director's cut" style analysis on some of the details (the scar on their stomach, why Prometheus' thoughts are in parentheses, why I chose 2nd person POV for these, all that) but I'll just leave this here for now :D
