#anthony padilla#spent a day with#satanism#agnostic anti-christian pagan solidarity from the me so have link everyone#I'm that person that sits on the line between satanism n paganism just cause satanism is a bit too like-#about rejection of christianity/in relation to christianity#and while I have my being raised in a catholic country that only just got rid of its church/state connection a few years ago#feelings and hangups about christianity I prefer to have my own Thing to replace it with also#plus paganism comes with a whole wheel worth of its own holidays including the ones the christians assimilated and halloween#*european paganism in my case but I'm sure other versions of pre-(other religion take-over) nature religions have plenty of holidays too ^^#(cause it doesn't have to be european to be paganism! it's abt tradition & history & nature of where you/your heritage are/are from)#and paganism takes so many forms you can literally build your own version of it slap the pagan label on it and ya good#want gods? we got so many to choose from! no gods? that's cool too! just kinda like vibing with nature? hel yeah!#practicing ritual? sure! not practicing/finding meaning and ritual in everyday things? good too!#crossovers with other religions even? why not! going through initiation at an organised group like the wiccans n druids tend to? sure!#self-declaration/not engaging with any groups/orgs? also works!#anyway I rly like being pagan would highly recommend it if you are looking for alt religions that can help give meaning to life and come w#holidays but don't require all the nonsense & oppression main-stream organised religion usually brings#thank you for coming to my ted talk lol
