I'm glad you pointed out people portraying Kyle as a fox is a bit uncomfortable. Foxes are often used to represent tricksters in fiction and considering the stereotype of Jews being untrustworthy, I hope I don't have to spell out why that's bad. I doubt people do it out of malice but it always seemed iffy to me and I've been afraid to comment on it since so many people in this fandom will label you the fun police for pointing out stuff like that and how it's harmful.

yup-honestly just what i was thinking. foxes represent cunningness, greed, shiftiness, untrustworthiness, etc. kind of ties into antisemitic stereotypes about Jews being the same way. That’s kinda why if i were to ever make an “Animal Park” AU i’d likely have him as a red panda-again, like you said, i really don’t think people are looking into it that deep. i mean, foxes are orange. kyle is ginger and wears orange. seriously likely not out of malice, more out of ignorance. but i guess when it comes down to it in the end people make stan a dog because he has a dog, cartman a raccoon because of his superhero persona and kenny as a possum because…i dunno. i guess the fandom just collectively agreed on that.

but i don’t think anyone is doing it on purpose-not from what i’ve seen. nobody assigns them animals based on what they symbolise, more so on things canon to the show itself. but looking deeper into it it seems a bit uncomfortable is all. i stick with a red panda because he’s ginger and he reminds me of aggresuko lol

I watched this show about a couple of years ago and fell in LOVE with it. The show has such a cool cartoony style with a great variety of characters. The show represents people's everyday work life and no matter who is watching, you can find a character to relate to. I definitely recommend watching the first few seasons if not all seasons because the story gets better and better.

Aggretsuko centers around Retsuko, who works as an accountant at this trading firm, and her day-to-day life. In her free time and as a way to relieve stress. Retsuko sings death metal at a nearby karaoke bar. Within the show, there are themes in regard to gender stereotypes in the workplace but also depict femininity as a weakness at times. We can see these depictions of femininity as a weakness through Mr. Ton, Retsuko's boss. In the beginning episodes, Mr. Ton makes sexist comments and remarks towards Retsuko but about women in general. Retsuko is expected to get tea for Mr. Ton; however, Retsuko's friend Fennecko points out that that isn't really part of her job description. Mr. Ton acts like Satan when it comes to other women in the workplace, but when he is talking to the pretty and non-confrontational Tsunoda, he is a peach of all a sudden. Mr. Ton literally burdened Retsuko with Tsunoda's work because he was just allowed to do that. 

Overall, I love the underlying themes and messages behind Aggresuko. The show does it in a way where it's not shoved down people's throats; it's done properly and depicted very realistically. Though I haven't experienced sexism firsthand, I have worked for an annoying, insufferable boss, and it really makes the workplace miserable. I cannot stress watching the entire show enough; it is seriously so good and fit for any audience.
