𐌰 loved their questions. It had been so long since they had met a species so curious. Granted, there were few sentient sentient species on this side of the multiverse. 𐌰 was worried that they'd spend another eon cataloguing single-celled organisms or completely dead rocks. There were two humans before them, both possessing the names of Agent Rivers and Agent Branton. One was taller than the other by 1 igrik. The little hair that they had on their bodies were styled the same, differing only in colour: blue for one - lighter than their skin, dark greelple for for the other. "Right," said Rivers, a little paler than usual, "So let me get this straight. You're saying there are hundreds of aliens out there?" "There's not a word in your human language to describe the true number of sentient species in the world." "Dear God..." 𐌰 's "hula-hoop halos" -as the humans called them, such wonderful names- flickered brighter in excitement "On the topic of God, I have been doing some research into your creation myths. I have reason to believe that multiple entities have been visiting your world." "So aliens did make the pyramids..." "Actually that was all human ingenuity. It's all quite extraordinary-"
Branton cut in, "We might be aware of some of those entities. Do you know what their deal was?" 𐌰 thought for a moment, "The best way to describe it in your terms, was that they liked to play god. What better place to test their prowess in this lonely corner of the multiverse? You'd still be simple microorganisms were it not for their meddling." The humans looked at each other for a moment then back at 𐌰. From the looks of their faces and the sustained silence, 𐌰 concluded that they were still in the process of coming to terms with that information. Branton was the first to break the silence, "So, what about the Greys and the other entities that we've seen?" 𐌰 's feelers lifted into a smile, "I'm glad you asked." A few minutes later, they almost wished they hadn't asked.
An organisation believes they have captured an interdimensional traveller. In reality, they could leave at any point, but they sit through it because the “interrogations” are the most fun they’ve had in eons.

Lupin epublishers|Effects of the Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment on the Physicochemical and Thermal Properties of Zinc Chloride
Abstract
Zinc chloride (ZnCl2) is used as a common source of zinc supplement in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulations. In this experiment, the impact of the Trivedi Effect®- Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment on the physicochemical, thermal, and behavioral properties of ZnCl2 was evaluated using sophisticated analytical techniques. The test sample ZnCl2 was divided into two parts. One part of ZnCl2 was considered as a control sample (no Biofield Treatment was provided), while second part received the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment remotely by a famous Biofield Energy Healer, Alice Branton and termed as treated ZnCl2. The powder XRD crystallite sizes and peak intensities of the treated ZnCl2 were significantly altered ranging from -16.67% to 99.97% and -88.51% to 202.23%, respectively; however, the average crystallite size was significantly increased by 14.14% compared with the control sample. The particles size values of the treated ZnCl2 at d10, d50, and d90 and D (4,3) were significantly increased by 886.20%, 36.70%, 28.90%, and 92.71%, respectively compared to the control sample. Hence, the surface area of the treated ZnCl2 was significantly decreased by 81.16% compared with the control ZnCl2. The latent heat of fusion of the treated ZnCl2 was significantly increased by 26.48% compared with the control sample. However, the latent heat of decomposition of the treated ZnCl2 was significantly decreased by 85.20% compared with the control sample. The study results anticipated that the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment might produce a new polymorphic form of ZnCl2 with larger crystallite and particle size and reduced surface area, which would improve the flowability, shape, and appearance compared with the control sample. The Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 would be very useful to design more efficacious nutraceutical or pharmaceutical formulations against cancer, inflammatory diseases, stress, immunological disorders, aging, Parakeratosis, dysosmia, anorexia, hypogeusia, hypogonadism, Wilson’s disease, etc.

Introduction
Zinc is an essential trace element which regulates a broad spectrum of physiological functions in the human body including prenatal and postnatal development [1]. Zinc is plenty available in animal meat, fish, shellfish, fowl, eggs, milk, wheat (germ and bran) and various seeds like sesame, poppy, alfalfa, mustard, celery, beans, nuts, almonds, whole grains, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and blackcurrant [2,3]. It is found in more than 100 enzymes (i.e., carbonic anhydrase, carboxypeptidase, etc.) and part of the protein (i.e., metallothioneins), serves as structural ions in transcription factors, nucleic acid, and protein metabolism, coordinate amino acid chains, etc. [4-7]. Pharmacologically it acts as a fertility enhancing, retinoprotective, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, and putative antiviral in the body [6,8]. It has been reported with increased leukocyte count and phagocytic index in combination with Glycyrrhiza glabra [9]. Zinc is also used to prevent the progress of several deficiency disorders include Parakeratosis, hypogeusia, dysosmia, anorexia, hypogonadism, growth retardation, Wilson’s disease, etc. [10-13]. Deficiency of zinc is generally due to insufficient dietary intake, which can be associated with malabsorption, chronic liver and renal disease, acrodermatitis enteropathica, sickle cell disease, malignancy, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses [14].
Zinc chloride (ZnCl2) is used as a common source for zinc in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic industry for the preparation of drug and diagnostic agent, mouth-wash, dentin desensitizer, deodorant, disinfectant, protein precipitator, and insulin preparation due to its powerful astringent and mild antiseptic properties [15-18]. The literature reported that ZnCl2 could also be used in the treatment of skin cancer as a destructive agent and palliative treatment of canine and malignant skin wounds [19,20]. Therefore, ZnCl2 was considered one of the components in the nutraceuticals/pharmaceuticals supplement for the prevention and treatment of various human disorders. ZnCl2 also used in other industry dealing with chemicals, metallurgy, textile, and paper manufacture [17]. ZnCl2 is irritant to skin, caustic to the gastrointestinal tract, occasionally leading to hematemesis, lethal to the human at the dose of 3-5 milligram, and extremely detrimental to the pulmonary and lungs on exposure to ZnCl2 smoke [17,21].
Physicochemical properties of a nutraceutical and pharmaceutical compounds play a very important role in its therapeutic efficacy [22]. The Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment significantly altered the physicochemical and thermal properties of many pharmaceutical/nutraceutical compounds [23-25], along with improved the bioavailability of poorly bioavailable compounds (i.e., resveratrol, berberine, and 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in male Sprague-Dawley rats) [15-17]. The Trivedi Effect® (the Biofield Energy Treatment) is a natural and only scientifically proven phenomenon in which a skilled individual can harness this inherently intelligent energy from the “Universe” and transmit it anywhere on the planet via the possible mediation of neutrinos [27-29]. The “Biofield” is infinite, paradimensional, and dynamic electromagnetic field is present surrounding the human body. The Biofield Energy can easily flow between the human and environment that leads to the uninterrupted movement or matter of energy [30-32]. The Biofield based Energy Healing Therapies also used against various human disease conditions and accepted worldwide. It has been recognized as a Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) health care approach by National Center of Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) along with other therapies, medicines and practices such as Ayurvedic medicine, traditional Chinese herbs and medicines, yoga, Reiki, hypnotherapy, aromatherapy, homeopathy, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, chiropractic/osteopathic manipulation, meditation, acupuncture, acupressure, naturopathy, healing touch, cranial sacral therapy, movement therapy, etc. [32-34]. The Biofield Energy Treatment has been reported in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals with significant outcomes in medical research [35], microbiology [36,37], biotechnology [38,39], metals, ceramics [40,41], organic compounds [42], and agriculture [43]. The physicochemical properties of pharmaceutical/nutraceutical compounds have a vital role in bioavailability as well as the stability of the drug during manufacturing, storage, and packaging [22,44]. Thus, the study was designed to evaluate the impact of the Trivedi Effect®- Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment on the physicochemical and thermal properties ZnCl2 using powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), particle size distribution analysis (PSD), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analytical techniques.
Materials and Methods
Chemicals and reagents
Melting points were determined using the kofler bench apparatus and uncorrected. The spectra of 1H NMR spectra were recorded in CDCl3 on the Brucker Avance-300 spectrometer, operating at 300MHz and at 75MHz for 13C-NMR using TMS as an internal standard and Spin resonances are reported as chemical shifts (d) in parts per million (ppm). Infrared Spectra were run on AVATAR 320 AEK0200713 spectrometer and frequencies are reported in cm-1. The purity of the synthesized compound was confirmed by thin layer chromatography (TLC), performed on Silica gel 60 coated plates. UV light was used for the visualization of TLC spots [12].
General procedure
The ZnCl2 powder was procured from Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (TCI), Japan and other chemicals used in the course of the experiment were purchased in India.
The Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment
The test sample ZnCl2 was equally divided into two parts. One part of the test sample did not receive Biofield Energy Treatment and was termed as the untreated or control ZnCl2 sample. But, the control ZnCl2 sample was subjected to a “sham” healer, under the same laboratory conditions; whereas, the “sham” healer totally ignorant about the Biofield Energy and its treatment procedure. The 2nd part of the test sample was exposed to the Trivedi Effect® - Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment (Biofield Energy Treatment) by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Alice Branton, USA, remotely under standard laboratory conditions for 3 minutes and known as Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2. After the treatment, both the samples were kept in similar sealed conditions and further characterized thoroughly using modern analytical techniques.
Characterization
The powder XRD analysis of ZnCl2 powder sample was performed with the help of Rigaku Mini Flex-II Desktop X-ray diffractometer (Japan) [45,46]. The average size of crystallites of both the samples was calculated from powder XRD data using the Scherrer’s formula (1)
Where G is the crystallite size in nm, λ is the radiation wavelength, k is the equipment constant, β is the full-width at half maximum, and θ is the Bragg angle [47].
The PSA was performed using Malvern Mastersizer 2000, from the UK using the wet method. Similarly, the DSC analysis of ZnCl2 samples was performed with the help of DSC Q200, TA instruments [45,46].
The % change in peak intensity, crystallite size, particle size, specific surface area, melting point, and latent heat of the Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 sample was calculated compared with the control sample using the following equation 2:
Result and Discussion
Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) analysis
The PXRD diffractograms of both the control and the treated ZnCl2 samples displayed very sharp and intense peaks in their respective diffractogram indicated that both the samples were crystalline nature (Figure 1). PXRD data such as Bragg angle (2θ), relative intensity (%), and crystallite size (G) for the control and Biofield Treated ZnCl2 are presented in Table 1. The crystallite sizes of the Biofield Treated ZnCl2 were significantly altered ranging from -16.67% to 99.97% compared with the control sample. However, the average crystallite size of the treated ZnCl2 was significantly increased by 14.14% (Table 1, entry 37) compared to the control sample. The PXRD diffractograms of both the control and the treated ZnCl2 displayed greater intensity at Bragg’s angle (2θ) near 25.6° (Table 1, entry 9). Besides this, the relative peak intensities of the PXRD peaks in the treated ZnCl2 were significantly altered compared with the control sample (Table 1). Hence, the relative peak intensities of the Biofield Treated ZnCl2 were significantly altered ranging from -88.51% to 202.23% compared to the control sample.
From the results, it can be assumed that the crystal size, as well as the relative peak intensities, were significantly altered due to the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment. As per the literature, any changes in the XRD patterns, such as crystallite size, and relative intensities, indicated the change of the crystal morphology as well as the proof of polymorphic transition [48- 50]. The crystal pattern, size, and even polymorphic form play an important role in the drug solubility, dissolution, and bioavailability of orally administered pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical formulations [22]. Thus, the Biofield Energy Healing Treated ZnCl2 could be very useful for designing a better and effective nutraceutical/pharmaceutical formulations.
Particle size distribution (PSD) analysis
The particle size values (d10, d50, and d90, D (4, 3)) and the average surface area of the control and the treated ZnCl2 were characterized and are presented in Table 2. The size of the particles in the treated ZnCl2 sample at d10, d50, and d90 and D (4, 3) were significantly increased by 886.20%, 36.70%, 28.90%, and 92.71%, respectively compared to the control sample. Hence, the surface area of the Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 (110.00m2/g) was significantly decreased by 81.16% compared with the control sample (583.90m2/g).
From the results, it can be assumed that the introduction of the external force like Biofield Energy Treatment (the Trivedi Effect®) transformed of the small ZnCl2 particles into larger particles. Increase in the particle size enhances the flowability, improved product shape and appearance [51,52]. Therefore, Biofield Energy Healing Treated ZnCl2 would have improved the flowability, shape, and appearance.
Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis
The DSC thermograms of the control and Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 are presented in Figure 2. The thermal analysis data such as melting and decomposition temperature, and enthalpy of fusion and decomposition of the control and Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 are presented in Table 3. The melting temperature of the Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 (310.11 °C) was slightly decreased by 0.53% compared with the control sample (311.77 °C). Similarly, the decomposition temperature of the Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 (382.96 °C) was decreased by 1.48% compared with the control sample (388.73 °C). The latent heat of fusion or enthalpy of fusion (ΔHfusion) of the control and Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 was 38.17 J/g and 48.28 J/g, respectively. The ΔHfusion of the Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 was significantly increased by 26.48% compared with the control sample. But the enthalpy of decomposition (ΔHdecomposition) of the control and Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 were 208.60J/g and 30.87J/g, respectively. The ΔHdecomposition of the Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 was significantly decreased by 85.20% compared with the control sample. Overall, the data indicated that Biofield Energy Treated ZnCl2 needs less energy to undergo the process of melting after Biofield Energy Treatment.

the way I RAN to my sketchbook— I drew her by herself, with carl, and with my oc nancy (wife of agent branton)
I like to think that Carl had a weird wife.
Sweet, sunny, the complete opposite of him. Knew each other since highschool (Because of course he'd pick someone he's familiar with, the only person who would actively tolerate and be friendly towards him.) and the only person he considered a 'friend'.
There's a reason why he's against 'cheating' at life..

Foreignness
The construction of an individual or group as foreign derives from nationalistic processes that prefer homogenized people and cultures. As nations accept ideologies of foreignness and banning the foreign, the migration and conditions of ethnic groups in particular become an issue. The United States has manufactured a public us versus them dichotomy against Latinx (gender neutral term) populations by posing them a foreign threat in attempts to halt support for their immigration. I argue that such a strategy has functioned through its usage of moral panics and manipulation of American values as well as the legal and cultural naturalization of borders and detention. It must be acknowledged that Americans diversify with a vast range of belief systems but I focus on those that hold anti-immigration or extreme conservative values.
It is undeniable that American values and policies have been impacted by the September 11 terrorist attacks. Moral panics of foreignness and external threats were embedded into the public by politicians and community leaders at that time. The same narrative and language has been employed to alarm citizens of Latinx immigration. Illegal, aliens, job-thieves, rapists, and criminals are words that have been used to describe Latinx and particularly Mexican populations (Branton, Cassese, Jones & Westerland, 2011, 664). The impact of 9/11 on Americans has caused some of them to view immigration through a certain homogenized lens as the border became associated with terrorism and now illegal immigration (Branton, Cassese, Jones & Westerland, 2011, 664). A foreigner, and a brown-skinned one at that, is often seen as a threat that has little place among the true Americans. Media and structures manipulating core American values, such as patriotism, allegiance, and family, serves as a useful tactic that advances the dichotomy of native against foreigner. By presenting Latinx individuals crossing the border as invaders, it is then the American duty to support government and security efforts to remove such threats. The same rhetoric was applied to the War in Afghanistan and those critiquing it were often labelled anti-American. It has been studied that those with a strong dedication to the national identity and its protection show greater support for tight immigration policies compared to those with weaker national identities (Branton, Cassese, Jones & Westerland, 2011, 676). A quantitative study looked at factors of acculturation, fear, anti-Latinx sentiment, and media exposure pre-9/11 and post-9/11 and concluded that those factors had little influence on attitudes before the terrorist attacks but contributed largely to immigration views after (Branton, Cassese, Jones & Westerland, 2011, 677). It raises the simple question of why are these immigrants, who are sometimes fleeing persecution, considered a threat to Americans? Homogenization and the maintenance of Anglo-American values have been cited as reasons for the fear or exclusion of immigrants. Possibilities of non-assimilation, rebellion to American laws, and acculturation contribute to anti-Latinx attitudes (Branton, Cassese, Jones & Westerland, 2011, 674). The different skin colour, the different language, and the difference of cultural norms causes a barrier between Latinx and non-Latinx Americans—it is almost human nature to cling to similarity but this can also be damaging. Deep-rooted nationalism within the United States has been a contributor to various conflicts and the most recent one seems to be the discontent for the increasing “Hispanization” or foreignness of their states.
Along with inciting a moral panic and using emotional narratives upon citizens, the United States has legalized and naturalized militarized border patrol and detention—barriers that should not exist in any democratic nation. The legal process surrounding immigrants crossing the border for asylum can be considered very flawed. Border agents have complete control over which asylum seekers can have entrance with many sharing their stories of being illegally denied access or intimidated with incarceration (Cabot, 2014, 366). With incidences of migrants being shot at the border and thousands of children being separated from their families, the border system works to threaten the community. It creates a long and complicated entrance process in efforts to minimize immigration with only a few authorities (government officials, border agents, lawyers, and judges) deciding upon their stay or citizenship in America. Slow access to counsel, delayed court trials, and backlogging are only a few of the legal issues that arise for asylum seekers (Cabot, 2014, 369). With hundreds of thousands dying from the War on Drugs in Mexico, there is desperation to cross the border (Cabot, 2014, 373). The problem is that the heavy securitization of the border and legal process for immigrating is complex and since it is so naturalized, safer and more practical solutions are less campaigned for. Those with anti-immigration or far-right winged views may even prefer the militarization and concreteness of the border through “Trump’s Wall.” The ethics of detention—a form of imprisonment, confinement, and captivity—must also be questioned since it has become naturalized despite its destructive properties. The United States has normalized such a practice through various factors including their racist and gendered attitudes, outlawing of Latinx migrants, and xenophobia (Silverman & Lewis, 2017, 96). In fact, it is shown that these centres only affect the health of detainees and become economic burdens on the state without meeting their aim of decreasing illegal immigration (Silverman & Lewis, 2017, 96). By pushing the narrative of foreignness, detention is accepted as an appropriate method of protecting citizens from possible threats and eventually becomes normalized. Locations meant for separating migrants from the public should be prohibited because these physical spaces are built on fear and alienation. It functions to divide, isolate, and segregate groups to protect those deemed deserving of American resources.
The United States promotes an “us versus them” narrative in relation to Mexican or Latinx immigration by constantly reminding the public of their foreignness and alienness. They do this by using persuasive speech to generate moral panics and exploiting American values to fake a sense of urgency that requests civil obedience with governmental agendas. The theme of foreignness is also developed through the legalization and naturalization of non-democratic spaces such as heavily guarded detention centers and borders. The defamation of these groups functions to maintain white homogeneity and American nationalism without consideration for the increasing importance of diversification throughout societies.

After another disastrous firing, she lands her dream job at a bookstore—and it doesn’t hurt that her new boss, Adam Parks, is pretty much her dream man. But if Lucy is good at one thing, it’s guarding herself from heartbreak. Adam has other plans in mind that include finding a way into Lucy’s heart.

When she meets August, a shy widower, her letters reveal a budding friendship. But Johanna soon begins to question whether their romance can survive a demanding employer, August’s jealous daughter, and the misgivings of two recently broken hearts.
COVERTLY YOURS by Janette Rallison: Paisley Spencer never needed a knight in shining armor—until she finds herself surrounded by three gangsters in a bad part of Phoenix. A handsome stranger intervenes, rescuing her from certain disaster. The only catch? Now she has to pretend to be his girlfriend for the next hour. She finds it’s a job she doesn’t want to end.
SUSPECT LOVE by Heather Tullis: When Titus takes over as manager of Midwest Blood Services, he immediately notices Regan, and she notices him right back—until she realizes he took the job for which she had been vying.

RYLEE’S MIX-UP by Rachel Branton: Rylee Williams didn’t want to be a bridesmaid at her estranged sister’s wedding, the sister who’d grown up with the family she was supposed to have. So why does she find herself in a dress two sizes too big and no date for the wedding? Maybe it’s time to give up on her family once and for all. ORIGAMI GIRL by Danyelle Ferguson: Josephine loved teaching crafts at the children’s hospital until she was assigned to help Dr. Blake learn how to relate with his patients. As she helps the young doctor soften his sharp edges, relax his rigid folds, and open up to the people around him, she finds she can’t help but love the man he’s becoming.
SABRINA’S HERO by Donna Hatch: For weeks, Sabrina daydreams about a mysterious gentleman who frequents the lending library. Is he perchance an agent for the crown? A returning war hero? A highwayman?
