my thoughts: I loved this fic, even though the worms creeped me out. The way Steve was so incredibly fucked up and also surprisingly well adjusted can’t be ignored. And then there’s Tony and Nat and god I love them. Read it.

my thoughts: does it count if they’re not actually together? This podfic (which is AMAZING) is very team oriented, and SteveTony spend most of it separated as Tony is held captive and yet--they communicated often and they work together through that and it’s so great, because it’s so team oriented and fantastic. I loved it.

my thoughts: this one hurts. From start to finish it hurts. But I think if either of them were alone for this, instead of leaning on each other throughout, it would have been unbearable and a helluva a lot more tragic. Which. Is saying a lot.

Scars tell a story about where we’ve been and what we’ve experienced. Soulmates only meet after that life experience has been lived. That doesn’t necessarily mean they’re ready for it.

Shortly after the takedown of Project Insight, Steve turns up at the tower with a quieter Bucky looking for a place to recover himself. It’s a solid plan, at least, until Clint walks right into Bucky, triggers their soul bond, and pretty much tosses Steve’s entire Bucky recovery plan out the window. Bucky is probably not ready to further complicate his life with a soulmate, so Clint does the only decent thing and retreats to his apartment in Bed Stuy. Maybe he should have consulted with Bucky first.

A story about soulmates, friends in a tower, enemies in tracksuits, Steve looking out for Bucky, Tony looking out for everyone, the Winter Soldier on his own mission, and Clint.

Actually addressing how bad the Sokovia Accords are and how awfully they treat people with superpowers (and how it’s really just the US gov. trying to have their own little superhero army and how that’s fucked up)

Fixing this issue the MCU has where they reduce characters to a few traits and take away what’s at the core (especially with newly introduced characters)

Fixing Age of Ultron and Endgame (because AoU was a trash fire and Endgame was a good concept but terrible execution)

Did you know Peggy’s character was based on a character from the comics named Cynthia Glass who was a Nazi Spy? “Based on” as in the writers took Cynthia’s character and just slapped Peggy’s name on her? Yeah so, Peggy’s actually gonna be a Nazi spy in this fic and her sus behavior (shooting at Cap, Operation Paperclip, etc) won’t be ignored or brushed off

^^^ in fact she manipulates Steve into letting her have his and Bucky’s daughter so that HYDRA could have their own little supersoldier lab rat and also Peggy not being a good mom and handing Stacy over to HYDRA like it’s nothing

The ending to Endgame actually makes sense (and no Steve undoing his entire arc because WTF WAS THAT-)

More time saying fuck you to the US government because we hate them in this house, and we stan Stacy for doing everything she can to be the bane of it’s existence. Everyone but Tony is right behind her :) 

All the Young Avengers are closer in age because they should be, also they’re all younger than 20 because that should be happening they’re not supposed to be adults

Lots of trauma and mental health issues for everyone, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety and more!

More time with Nat and Yelena BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T GET ENOUGH T-T

Some personal opinions on MCU Ladies being Domme or Sub

Kate: Absolutely a Sub.

Carol: Is a Sub, knows it, grumpy about it, wants you to think she's a Domme.

Yelena: Is a Sub, does NOT know it, has only been with Power Bottoms, Natasha doesn't have the heart to tell her.

Natasha: Switch, either a very good Mommy or the cutest Pillow Princess depending on the partner.

Wanda: Absolute Mommy Domme, except in the very brief window of Age of Ultron when she was Baby

I feel like Kate is willing to learn how to be Dom, but her preference for powerful/older women would make that knowledge completely useless. She likes to dream tho ❤️

Carol is a sub top but I definitely see that changing depending on what era she's in or how much experience she has. She can't wrap her head around the fact she can Do The Work but not boss you around and she's so huffy about.

Yelena isn't ashamed of being a sub but is legitimately under the impression she just Isn't so no one really bothers correcting her

Natasha is a jack of all trades and sorta adapts to her partners needs. However, I do see her having a bit of fetish (kink? idk) for "breaking" doms or switches. She can respect your needs but once Nat has made up her mind about topping you, there's no going back from that

Wanda definitely grows into being a mommy. Even if we aren't being canon compliant, I imagine her "Mommy Urges" just get worse the longer you date her. She'll let you be secretive and shy about it at first but eventually she's gonna start cutting up your food and forcing you to sit in her lap

Summary: After their encounter with Wanda, Natasha only allows Clint to tend to her on the jet, leaving Bruce to question their budding relationship. Bruce POV. extended scene

Part 1 of the "I Adore You But I Need the Other Guy" series, a collection of retaliation fics I wrote after watching Age of Ultron for the upteenth time and still being angry about it.

GOAL: to write a Clintasha heavy yet MCU Age of Ultron compliant story....fuck you Joss

Tony contacted Maria. Bruce hoisted himself on a seat for a better view.

“The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. There’s been no official call for Banner’s arrest but it’s in the air.”

Bruce rolled his shoulders, rocking in his seat, Thor’s back and forth pacing adding to his anxiety. He searched for his noise canceling headphones.

“Stark Relief Foundation?” Tony asked Hill.

“Already on the scene. How’s the team?”

“Everyone’s,” he chose his words carefully, “we took a hit. We’ll shake it off.”

Banner shot a glance at Natasha but she was struggling to keep her eyes open.

“Well, for now, I’d stay in stealth mode. And away from here.”

“So, run and hide?”

“Until we can find Ultron, I don’t have a lot to offer.”

“Neither do we.” Stark flicked off the screen to stand behind Clint.

Take off was effortless for Hawkeye. He maneuvered the quinjet through the clouds, cloaking them from standard radar.

Bruce thought about how fast Barton overcame Loki's mind control and jumped into battle in New York. He never once saw the archer cower or hide.

He also recalled Natasha's determination to get her partner back, despite the alien invasion.

“Hey, wanna switch out?” Tony asked Hawkeye.

“No, I’m good. If you want to get some sleep, now’s a good time. We’re still a few hours out.”

“A few hours from where?” Tony leaned against the chair.

“Safehouse.”

“Can it hold us all?”

“Yeah,” Clint nodded, “I have someone there. Let me give them a heads up.” He punched a few numbers on the console.

“Ja?” A female voice answered.

“Auf dem Weg. Mit dem Team.” On way. With team.

"Wie lange bis du ankommst?” How long til you arrive?

“Zwei Stunden.” 2 hours

He ended the transmission.

“Hate to tell you, flyboy, but Bruce and I both understand German.”

Clint huffed almost good naturedly.

“It wasn’t for you not to understand, Stark.”

Bruce and Tony exchanged looks but let it go. Barton was a man of few words. They'd have to wait.

Tony joined Thor on the bed across from Steve. All three sat in defeat.

A loud whimper from Natasha drew their attention.

“No, please don’t make me.”
