He thought he'd managed to destroy the part of himself that still longed for her, and yet, there it was. "Or maybe I'm just very good at this game," he said, lifting a shoulder in a shrug before he took a card from the deck, his smirk growing as he reshuffled them and placed a complete set on the table. "I don't think it has anything to do with heart or conscience. I just have a pretty good poker face, unlike you." Junho straightened, lifting his gaze to meet hers, his tone teasing and playful. "It's a good thing you're in accounting. You'd make a terrible lawyer, Cha Yeonju."

"i don't know, you tell me. i think you seem the type anyway. there's a lack of — " yeonju gestures with her cards vaguely, as if that explains just exactly how he makes her feel just by playing cards together " — something with you." almost rolling her eyes, she reminds herself it's just some silly card games that she really, really wants to win, and that she should have better attitude to someone offering her a place to stay. "oh, don't flatter yourself. i got over you ages ago." and then she sits up straighter, determined to redirect her focus back on the game. "go on, try not to cheat this time. you look suspicious every single round to me."
