kind of a mood board for the fanfic i'm writing rn called Oh Portofino

shaking bc im writing a fanfic where agatha gets to meet a version of rio that isn't death, and she goes through something sooo similar to rio

revelling in all the best parts of her ex lover, without all of the trauma and emotional baggage that comes from their relationship

I really find it interesting that when Rio arrives and participates in Agatha's cop fantasy, she asks interesting questions:

"Is this really how you see yourself?"

(Edited to add) This is a curious question from Rio who has known Agatha the most, and she seemed really surprised that Agatha cast herself as a cynical small-town detective with a heart of gold.

And later when Rio shows up on 'Agnes'' front step with pizza, Rio says this:

"Well, you're only lying to yourself."

Rio seems to think that Agatha is the reason why she's still in Wanda's distorted spell for some reason.

Rio might be on to something because Agatha becoming a cop was Agatha's way of breaking out of the spell since Detective Agnes O'Connor resembles Agatha's real personality more than the nosy neighbor role Wanda put her in.

Agnes' nosiness and friendliness are a mask, her con personality Agatha put on to get closer to Wanda. The grumpy, cranky, and snarky Agatha we meet in the show seems to be Agatha's true personality.

Judging from Rio's amused grin when Agnes yelled 'Eat my ass, Chief!' This was more of Agatha's personality that Rio loves.

And part of that personality is Agatha going on a passionate rant about something Agatha has too many feelings for:

Rio wasn't lying when she told Agatha, "I've missed you."

Like, despite the rift they have, Rio does miss Agatha. Miss her crankiness, her snark, and her passionate ranting.

She's trying to get Agatha out of the spell because she wants the real Agatha back but there must also be something nostalgic for Rio that Agatha's hate of her is just Human levels of hate and not murderous levels of hate.

okay i need opinions !! im working on a fanfic called Oh Portofino and i'm trying to figure out how to write a certain scene so here's my question:

if agatha knew something about rio that could potentially (somehow) put rio in grave danger BUT if she tells her, it could mean agatha's demise. would she tell rio? would she keep it to herself and try to manipulate it so that rio is DEFINITELY in danger? or would she just let things unfold as they may?

distancing herself from rio or the issue is not an option. i'll put up a simple poll but i encourage any alternative opinions in the comments !!

guys listen i just need someone to draw agathario riding a broom together between the ocean and the light of the pale credcent moon, both reaching their right hands into the water to make little puddles plspls im writing a scene in my fic and i need it to be real.

Agatha's arms around Rio's waist from behind, left hand helping her control it.

also the broom is covered in vines and glowing red carnations and agathario are wearing normal everyday clothes
