actually in a world where they had time to work on the story more i wish they had more scenes of silver learning to love and appreciate the present, how lush the trees and plants are, how everyone in town seems so happy. i want to watch silver eat an icecream and be amazed about how cold yet sweet it is. watching him interacting with the people around town and relishing in how truly peaceful the world can be. i think with sonic being the obvious world renowned hero silver would've heard people talking about sonic or outright mentioning him to silver, about how he's saved the world from the brink of destruction multiple times. silver thinks he'd like to meet him sometime, maybe he can help him with tracking down the iblis trigger and saving the future.

silver learning about how much of a hero sonic is from the townspeople is more compelling than just amy telling silver sonic isn't bad because she said so. giving silver more internal conflict when he learns sonic is the iblis trigger. is the person everyone talks of so highly really the trigger? why would the guy who's saved the world multiple times already only now want to bring destruction upon it? bringing it up with mephiles only results in mephiles cutting him off with how is he really going to risk how only chance to save the future?

i think in their first encounter and fight silver immediatly cuts to the chase with fighting sonic, only saying his name and purpose, before when he finally has sonic in a bind jumping for the kill before amy stops him. and then in the second encounter silver catching sonic off guard and they exchange more words, having sonic question what silver's talking about, about why he's doing this, and watching silvers internal conflict if it's really worth trusting his gut feeling that sonic really is innocent when this one act of trusting his feelings could leave the entire future in ruin? and then shadow kicks him before he can make a decision if he should actually kill sonic or not.
