I don't keep up with the comics, so when I first read about the Death Ranger drama, I thought it was about Deathryuger, the Dark Ranger's Sentai counterpart.

Yeah, I'm pretty stupid, because I thought Heckyl just came out as non-binary.

Nah, you ain't stupid cause honestly, anything I know about the comics comes from other blogs and twitter accounts. So like, all I know about Death Ranger is that they come from the Omega Rangers comics and that they are among the comics attempts at non-binary rep that the comics uh, don't seem great at handling (or twitter accounts in this drama's case). But also hey, you never know with Heckyl, the comics do like to do their own things with the characters so like, nothing is impossible.

#like i think last PR comics i brought was the crossover ones #aka the JL and tmnt ones #i really dont wanna try even with the comics right now #i might try shattered grid one day #cause ranger slayer is one of my favorite characters to come out of the comics #but like ehhhh #i dont wanna try and keep up #its like dc and marvel comics: you just give up at one point #also like uh i guess context: omega rangers is a comics only team #aka unlike the show where you know #jason zack and trini left for a peace conference cause saban didnt wanna pay their actors fairly #in the comics you can keep their characters around #which they did via saying that peace conference was a lie #they going to space in reality to become the omega rangers #and...currently that team is a mess #again comic exclusive rangers are always a mess i swear...#though hey ranger academy is saying they going to have non-binary rep #so heres hoping they handle that better
