this fic is everything that i imagined it would be and more. had adored the thought of Jean leaving the nest with Neil and was in love with how both characters were portrayed here. finally ended up adopting it in the end for @aftgtandn 's Adopt-a-Work.

During their match vs Ireland, Neil decides to show off in the last seconds with a between the legs goal. (Based off Connor Fields’ goal earlier this month). The announcers don’t even know what to say. Does the media decide Neil is a show off? Maybe. But it’s cool as shit and he deserves it

Have you always been interested in creating art? Kinda? No? Not sure. I think I've always been interested in art in the 'wow, thats cool' way, not really creating though.

What's your favourite medium to use? If digital, what programs do you like? I taught myself to draw on digital (wacom intus medium i still use) and have the free program firealpaca - im too lazy to change now. I've owned sketchbooks to take with me and it's good but I don't think I'll ever really get over not having the command + z tool.

Do you create outside of fandom? A little, I've got ocs who I draw occasionally.

Share something you haven't finished and/or never got around to posting OH so many, its not funny. But here's a more recent piece which was initially for AFTG pride zine. It was so good, I just couldn't make it work for WEEKS. I ended up switching up and doing something else.

Favourite piece you've made? OH well, i've got a few but this would be my pick for 'konaiiro wrapped'.

An underrated piece you've made in your opinion

you lads slept on this one (forced to screenshot from instagram bc its old and i can't find the file and, as established, im lazy). So much wrong with it and yet i fuck with the vibes and texture and expression and pose- UGH

Do you do art in a professional setting? No, not really. I've done comms in the past and I was going to go do animation in uni, but found that i like to keep my creating up to me. I would be open to run comms again, but under a different structure I think.

i think from a creation perspective, i know my base lineart is much cleaner and rendered.

Background is,, actually there lmao. It kicked my ass to draw but it happened.

Style has changed a tonne to more realistic (?), proportions are less all over the place.

effects are just better

Matt looked over as he tested the oven mitts, a quizzical expression on his face when he asked, “Umm, whatcha got there buddy?”. Neil faltered as he put his spoils in with the rest of his collection, “Oven mitts,” he stated deadpan, “you know those things that protect your hands.” He was concerned Matt knew what plastic wrap was but not oven mitts.

What would happen if Neil didn't confront Andrew immediately after realizing he went through his bag...

(amazing that this moodboard turned out to be the softest looking one yet even though the fic is pretty much chaos when you think about it)

fell asleep while making the moodboards yesterday so i can only post them today. this work destroyed me in all the good ways possible and i just knew that i had to make a moodboard for it for @aftgtandn 's Adopt-a-Work event.

Abby’s scream startled him out of his trance. “Neil!” She rushed into the bathroom, eyes wide with panic. She grabbed his wrists, prying the shards from his bloody hands, but not before the glass cut into her fingers too. Neil flinched at her touch, pulling back instinctively. His father was here. And now his mother was here, too. He had misbehaved, and he was going to be punished. But Abby didn’t hurt him. Her hands, even bleeding, were soft. She pulled him against her chest, his face pressed to her soft, pink cardigan, her arms wrapping tightly around him as she tucked his head under her chin. Neil’s chest heaved with shallow, uneven breaths, and she shook as she held him. Silent but steady. 

(there were so many parts that i adored, but settled on sharing this little snippet in the end)

read this fanfic last night before going to sleep and decided to put it on my list of fic's to make a moodboard for, for @aftgtandn 's Adopt-a-Work event. this was supposed to be up before i went to sleep, like all of the other moodboards were supposed to be, but i fell asleep while choosing the right pics so it's up now instead. it is probably my all time favorite take on what would have happened if Andrew had witnessed Nicky kissing Neil, told from TFC!Andrew's pov.
