after 582 attempts i the usps website FINALLY decided to let me make an appt to submit my passport application. the closest location that's open on the day i'm going is in 40 mins away from me and in the middle of nowhere so i'm gonna have to take my ass to no man's land lol. but it's worth it bc once i get my passport i can officially book a trip somewhere tropical w/ blue water and clear skies 🌈🌴✨

Kilowattrel Evolution!

I thought it'd be fun to continue the naming scene Wattrel and Kilowattrel have, so I gave Kilowattrel an evolution for Pokemon Zenith and Nadir, my Pokemon region inspired by Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands!

This is Gigawattrel, an Electric/Flying Type. I am aware megawatts come after kilowatts but in the unlikely event in which Mega Evolution returns and Kilowattrel gets a Mega Evolution wouldn't that technically be a Megawattrel?

Gigawattrel have gotten themselves the nicknames of ‘the soaring pirates’ due to their tendency to ambush other flying Pokemon to steal their meals away from them. The scar on its eye isn’t actually a scar, it’s stored excess electricity that built up in its eye upon evolution. When it is absolutely brimming with the excess electricity, Gigawattrel can shoot the electricity from its eye to deliver an unexpected shock to those it pursues.

8. do you have any tattoos or piercings?

lame answer here but literally none! not even my ears are pierced. definitely not interested in ever making them so, bUt if I did get a tattoo it'd either be something small on the inside of my left wrist OR a pair of black & white sleeves.

11. what posters, pictures, etc do you have hanging on your wall?

I'm not in my apartment rn but off the top of my head: Kiki's Deliver Service poster, some sticky note art I did for my dorm room (cuddling cats, fancy arms, risk of rain fan art), assorted other art pieces, calendar, & an 80's photo of Ambato (my grandma's hometown in Ecuador). I've been meaning to hang some paintings in my apartment too, just keep forgetting to buy the supplies to hang 'em. you should visit sometime :>

21. who was the first friend you remember making as a kid?

my best friend in preschool! shit, I think his name was anthony? unfortunately, I moved to another area after that grade, but I hope he's doing well :') I remember the controversy over having a boy best friend. I still miss living in The Mouse City sometimes tbh, but my grandma+aunts still live there.

29. do you smile at strangers?

I try to, anyway! I used to be a looking at the floor, shrinking when approached kind of person but I think I've become a lot more confident and forward over the years. I do love giving random people little complements on things I notice & seeing faces light up! conquering some lifelong social anxiety slowly but surely 😌
