it's great representation and it made me cry, honestly it was a beautiful read and it filled me with so much hope for the future

I hate this, because Senpai wa Otokonoko is one of my best jobs, the team we built for translating couldn’t be better and the love and effort we put and are still putting on it was not rewarded in the end.

This is why we’re sadly starting to focus on translating more transmasc experiences instead of baity transfem ones. Also, everyone please read After School Mate by Umino Kuon. It’s very good, I’m translating it also, and I think we’re making a very good job with it.

honestly the funniest gideon to me might be immediately post-show. where hes fresh out of jail on parole and trying to be a better person. my headcanon is they commuted his sentence to a mixture of therapy and community service (they uh. had no choice after the decision to both ignore weirdmageddon and also the prison got destroyed) and he accepted this in his attempt to Be Nicer

but also it means hes walking around town like this for a while

After School Mate:

Forgot to put this up for two days, but I liked this a lot! I love how it shows us Rika's dynamics with his whole family and a way the whole transgender experience can go. Satsuki's relationship with Rika is also great, and I'm honestly fine with the fact that it simply didn't get resolved, cause sometimes that's how those kinds of things go. Sometimes you just bottle up those feelings and they never get told, and as much as it hurts, that's just how it is. It's pretty short (only 13 chapters), and I'd absolutely recommend this if you've not read it yet. Not a ton to say other than that.

9/10.
