Just out of curiosity, how do you interpret Tom in the series? I'm curious because I know Ben and Gord are the main two for noms in the series but I've been kind of in a Tom pred mood which only works since I hc that he's got some powers from his dad.

ah, i don't really see tom as a pred, and only really see him as a prey rarely. which reminds me! i want to rewrite ultimate hugs bro 3, since i no longer ship tom with the other two guys due to my headcanons about what ages tom and benb were when they met changing- going by tom's stated age in the series (he states he's 36, and the series ends with his b-day party, so then he's 37), and the "1994" in benb's username in the heist stream (which would put benb at 26), i figure that there's about 11 years difference between them. tom started working at b'mesa when he was 24, and so benb was only 13 when they met. i like to think that benb feels like a little brother to tom. big bro tom momence. :) but yeah, for the rewrite, instead of a lovey-dovey cuddle sesh, tom's biologist side is all 'OH? 👀' upon hearing about benb's apparently safe-for-humans insides. so in this case, the "Oh, he needs to see this himself. Y'know, for science" bit is 100% sincere this time. tom knows how benb feels about people being "scientist-y" at him, and thus never pries himself, but always gets delighted when benb will willingly show off and let tom check out some of his alien biological quirks. :) (gord still also gets nommed here, so he can be tom's "tour guide" to benb's guts :P )
