#not easy to tell from the photo but in case anyone misinterprets this - vale is in an excellent mood. fresh off terrorising his teammate#underdiscussed casey character arc (she says as if there's much posting about casey character arcs) is him getting better at celebrating#after going through the 2009 horrors and then spending half of 2010 eating gravel. like u can tell he really relished his 2010 wins#i still want to revise my casey rec list to bring it more in line with the detail i provided for the ones i made after that#and tbh i did just include the 2010 ones in a sentimental 'well i know he really likes them' way#(motegi is obviously a great race watch experience. number one guilty pleasure rewatch. just not necessarily for casey reasons)#and on merit they.... probably do not deserve to be there because they are quite dull. but u can tell he was really really proud of them#the emotional journey of going :))) and having valentino go :))) back @ u and later finding out he'd attempted to murder his teammate#//#brr brr#heretic tag
