I wouldn't say I.....lllllike West Side Story....I have. A complicated relationship with West Side Story. Lol. But I heard that the more recent movie adaptation made the protag white boy (I'm sorry. I forget his fucking name. They should've included a song about it and maybe I'd remember. I'm gonna assume it's Johnny cuz he's an everyday white man self insert and if I'm wrong oh well and if I'm right that's hilarious) even worse and more racist and that's CRAZY cuz even in the original it's so fucking hard to empathize with one side of the story cuz they're literally just racist street thugs that want to beat up Puerto Ricans for no other reason than the crime of being Puerto Rican, and you're telling me the new movie makes him WORSE???
