i thought of it a while back bcuz they seem like a great pair n i was now like getting back into it

but yea, i was thinkin of hobie pavitr n margo meetin lucas and instantly fallin for him bcuz of his charm it’s literal bonus points if it’s afro latino lucas (i love him sm, could you tell?)

he moved from buenos aires, argentina 🇦🇷 to hawkins, indiana when he was 9.

him and erica were super excited when their parents said they were moving to the states, though they never told them the real reason they moved

he has spanish nicknames for every one in the party: mike’s is cariño, will’s is mi cielito, dustin’s is papi chulo, el’s is mi amado and max’s is hermosa. (these can be platonic or romantic)

he only speaks spanish at home with his family unless the party’s over, then he just switches to english.

he learned english from the little bits and phrases people would say at the airport and also from the kids at school.

he often gets questions like “are you really black?” “are you really latino?” he just laughs them off.

he was brought up in a very affectionate family so he often very affectionate with his friends too.

he sometimes switches from one language to another on accident, like he’ll hear someone ask him something in english and he’ll answer it in spanish.

he and erica speak in spanish in front the party on purpose so they think they’re talking about them.

if he’s dating one of the party members, he’ll be like chill in public but super cuddly in private.

being one of the only afro-latinos in an mostly white town, he’s never really had friends like him besides his sister

lucas’ doing some last minute homework late at night, cussing to himself in spanish. will came into the room, chuckling at the sight in front of him. “here you go.” will said as he placed a cup of tea on the desk lucas’ studying on. “gracias, mi cielito.”(thank you, my heaven)lucas said tiredly. “de nada, amor.”(no problem, love) will says in response.(he picked up a few spanish words from lucas) he then places a kiss on lucas’ temple and walks out the room. lucas smiles, takes a sip of his tea and continues with his work.

after he’s done, he goes to find will. lucas finds will on the couch sleeping just as soundly. he smiles at his boyfriend and goes to find a blanket for him. once he finds one, he comes into the living room and covers will with it, kissing his forehead and moles. “buenas noches, cariño.”(good night, honey) lucas whispers in will’s ear. he stirs a little bit but doesn’t wake up fully. lucas begins to leave the room when he hears will say barely under a whisper.

“can you stay, please, amor?” lucas turns to the sound of will’s voice. “sí, cariño.”(yes, honey) lucas goes to will and coops him up to cuddle him in the blanket. will leans into lucas’ touch and buried his head into his chest. lucas chuckled and kisses the top of will’s head.(or what isn’t buried in his chest)”buenas noches, mi cielito hermoso”(good night, my beautiful heaven)

since he mostly grew up in buenos aires, he still has some of the vocabulary in his head.

whenever he gets frustrated, he’ll automatically switch to to spanish and most of the time, the party just has to figure out what he’s saying because he won’t tell at all.

when he’s real excited, he’ll do a little dance 🕺🏾(some have said it’s really cute, that being mike, and will🤭)

also as he grew up in that city, he’s a very physically affectionate person, so he’s like a cuddly bear 🐻(that i’d love to hug, yk)

he also loves to cook traditional food with his family, like empanadas or asado.

when lucas first met mike, he didn’t know many english words to describe him so he used the ones he was native to. ‘el es hermoso’(he’s beautiful) as they became friends, he started to realize his feelings for him but, kept them out of the way.

when their friendship progressed with age, lucas finally figured out the perfect way to tell him, through his native language, español.

he asked mike to hang out alone, he said yes now, he’s in his room looking for the right clothes to wear. his papa comes by his door to find him looking through clothes. “¿tienes alguien especial para quien te estás vistiendo?”(got a special someone you’re dressing up for?) “sí, papa pero, no se que ponerme.”(yes, dad but i don’t know what to wear) “espera aqui, te traeré algo.” his dad said as he left his place at the doorframe.

as mr. sinclair came back, in his arms, a vintage looking outfit. “papá, ¿dónde conseguiste eso?”(dad, where did you get that) “me puse esto en mi primera cita con tu madre.”(I wore this on my first date with your mom) his father said with a hint of happiness in his tone “no tienes que ponértelo, solo date prisa que llega tu cita”(you don’t have to wear it, just hurry up before your date gets here)”está bien, papà.(ok, dad)

lucas ponders on wearing the outfit a little longer but then decides to put it on. it was a red shirt with blue gap jeans and a blazer to go with it. “estoy listo” he said quietly. as he was leaving, he heard a knock on the door and started to sprint to the door “i’ll get it!” he shouted to his family. once he opened the door, there stands michael, all dolled up to the nines, a little makeup’s on his face and his outfit is cute. lucas looks him up and down and says softly “eres lo mas hermoso que he visto.”

mike gently smiles at him and says “are you ready to go?” “yea” lucas says “adiós!” he yells at his familia. he takes mike’s hand in his and they’re off to their date. after that, they approach mike’s porch and exchange goodbyes. “bye, luc.” mike says “bye, hermoso.” lucas says and gives him a little peck on the cheek. “see you later.” he says as he leaves the porch. while mike’s still reeling from the peck, he slowly goes in his house.
