"African Queens: Njinga is the first installment in a new Netflix docuseries from Jada Pinkett Smith's studios highlighting true stories of some of Africa's most fascinating rulers."
And people still question if there were/are women warrior Queens. Stunningly beautiful. Give it a watch.

Ma Nhleko
You are your name, a lioness clothed with nothing but love and rare fierceness. You embody the characteristics of a warrior queen, with a heart made of gold. You are loved by many, not by force, but due to your aura. This aura can be seen as a threat to those who were never meant to understand your being because they aren’t on your level. You are the cycle breaker of your generation, a queen in…

Afrique Notre Afrique 🌍 Celebrating #AfricanQueens of #blackhistory on #IWD2023 Queen Nzinga of Ndongo (Angola) was a powerful monarch who successfully kept the Portuguese out of her land for 35 years. In order to fight off Portugal, (who wanted to conquer the area to further the slave trade) Nzinga conquered neighboring kingdoms to expand her territory. Nzinga led her warriors in battle until her sixties and defied numerous assassination attempts to die peacefully in her sleep at 81 in 1663. Nzinga impact was so strong that she prevented the Portuguese from reaching deep into Southwest Africa until her death. Angola would finally be free of Portuguese control centuries later in 1975. #happyinternationalwomensday #womensday #womensmonth #BlackQueen #QueenNzinga #TeamÉLF https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpic0qhN5t8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
