The Hermit!
shit fuck, I'm late!
Kay, so I did draw this during the day and then shared it with my friends and went "Did I share this? Well, of course i did!" and i completely forgot to post it here lol
anyway, this is Entrapta! She is from She-re and is one of, if not, my favorite characters in the show. I think she fits well because in the show she at first does stick by herself mostly, tinkering away with her machines and such, but also is incredibly smart and becomes a great help to everyone, well there was that time that she worked for the other side but semantics I tell ya
Anyway, she seemed like a good fit for this card, plus her crazy cool hair is always fun to draw

Judgement!
Sometimes this card is also called Resurrection, and it often represents change and being freed from internal conflict. In a dark way, I think Jinx's journey from growing up as powder, then growing as Jinx, fits well. Jinx has been at odds with herself for most of Arcane, "Powder fell down a well..." she would say, but she still held on to the past. But, in the final act, she finally let's go of the past, knowing she can't go back to how things were, and fully embraces being Jinx, even the dark parts. Plus, she was quite literally resurrected, so another fun parallel!

The World!
Aaaaaaaand, that's a wrap!
The final card of A Fool's Journey is finished! though its a little late but lets ignore that
Anywho, I think that Titan!Luz was the perfect way to finish this off, as well as being very fitting of The World. The World often has themes of freedom of the self, triumph, grace, and moving forward. Titan!Luz seemed a perfect fit because she finally realizes that she isn't like Belos, confronts her fears and triumphs over them, and she can move forward to help the Boiling Isles, as well as growing as a witch who is more confident, loved, and cared for, and able to realize she deserves the love and care.
This feels like a nice continuation from The Star card, the owl house seems to fit oddly well in tarot lol
aaaaaand, as a token of appreciation for your patience, here's a bonus doodle of Amity

Strength!
I think Vi is one of the strongest characters in arcane, both mentally and physically. Throughout the show she has to deal with so much yet finds the courage to continue onward, i think she fits the theme of the card pretty well

Here's Luz as The Magician!
This one doesn't have as much symbolism going on, but it felt rather fitting since, unlike other witches, Luz is a very hands-on magic user because of her glyphs
This is another entry for A Fool's Journey, an art challenge I'm hosting throughout April, more info down below!

The Chariot!
For the chariot i decided to draw Harley and Ivy fleeing from Gordan after the marriage was called off, since the chariot often represents feelings of triumphant freedom and achievement I thought this was a good moment in the story to express this card. Of course, there's a whole lot of baggage that comes with these scenes but I think successfully running from the cops and the two finally getting together carries a lot of the themes this card represents

The Moon!
Finished this one a little late, but better late than never!
Man, not a great slogan lol
Can't believe I haven't made nay cyberpunk fanart yet considering im a huge fan of both the anime and game, now seemed like the perfect excuse with this card.
Plus, I think theres some cool symbolism going on with Lucy's longing and dreaming to be on the moon and the cards nature of dealing with the imagination and the night, so cool parallels!

The Star!
The Star often represents an emotional clearing, as well as a connection with the divine, which reminded me of Luz finally being understood by Camila, as well as learning thats all she ever wanted, and when her palisman hatched from the egg to become Stringbean!

The Hanged Man!
Anxiety is a bitch and a half, and thats what The Hanged Man feels like to me, the lack of control and that feeling of helplessness. Thinking about that reminded me of the scenes in hexside when Willow's pent up emotions built up until they ultimately exploded out of her in the form of her plant magic.
Side note, I love how well the owl house never shied away from the hardships of life, but instead showed that it's okay to not be okay! Truly an amazing show, sad to see it go but happy for the good times we had

The Lovers!
I'm not ashamed to admit that this one is absolutely self indulgent
sometimes you just want to sit down and draw some Raeda

The Empress!
For this one I chose to draw poison ivy! The Empress often represents nature and is a nurturing archetype, which seems fitting, though she may only be nurturing to plants rather than people lol

The Tower!
When thinking about the tower, this iconic scene from arcane immediately popped into my mind. that show has so many beautiful scenes but this one is one of my favorites. The moodyness, the colors, the music! What an amazing show

The Devil!
I feel like I don't need to explain this one as much, I mean the dude literally made a name as a false prophet, fear mongered people into forking over their freedom of magic, promised his followers prosperity, and then tried to irradiate them all as soon as he was able
Feels pretty fitting to me

Here's today's entry for A Fool's Journey!
I thought Harley would be a good fit because the fool often represents new beginnings and taking the first steps on your journey to personal growth, which matches the themes of Harley going on her journey of becoming an anti-hero and working along side the bat-fam (at least in the animated series). Plus, the fool was often a jester in early tarot card designs and that lines up with Harley's design rather well, so I think there's a lot of cool symbolism going on
This is the first of my designs in an on going drawing challenge I'm hosting, you can read more details about it down below!

The Sun!
This one took me a minute to decide what to draw. At first I was debating if I wanted to do a fanart or an original thing, I was trying to think about what would fit well, then a memory suddenly floated into my mind. i remembered a time when I was younger and climbing a tree and trying to catch the sun, knowing I never could but trying anyway. Silly as it may be, it was a nice moment that I hold close to my heart, and I wanted to try and capture that feeling for this card.
