Hey I’m writing a fic rn and I’m trying to redesign Lily Mays outfit because the whole “technically a child in an adults body” thing is weirding me out with her outfit. I absolutely adore your Lenya design and I’m gonna try and put that in the fic as well (if that’s alright!) and I love the whole vibe but I’m not sure how to pull off Lily Mays design and I was wondering if you had any thoughts or tips? Please and thank you!

I’m glad you like you my little redesign for Lenya. I edited Lily May’s outfit a while back and thought it wasn’t good enough so I didn’t post anything about it.

Anyways here’s the comparison of the original and my edit!

You can reference off of this and even make your own tweaks to this if you like! Some details I would like to add is that Lily’s heels are much lower and her dress piece in the back is the same length in the front.

Lily May is a Swallow, a fact that fucks me up emotionally lore wise.

Spoilers for her story quest:

Lily May is the daughter of Laura, a member of the Azure seers. When she was young Laura lost her, and Lily May ended up in the custody of Illucia (the main baddie). Illucia conducted experiments on her through dark magic and groomed her into a trained assassin. We see repeatedly that Lily may has very little understanding of what she is doing and of the world around her

After getting medical help for the side effects of the dark magic used on her, and investigating her past the quest leads you to the abandoned camp of the Azure Seers. The seers had left the dark forest after they foresaw the curruption of the Lucent Tree. The group finds a letter from Laura to Lily May in the camp.

Lily May is a Swallow. A bird that symbolizes homecoming, but she cannot return home even when she finally has a home to go back to.

Lenya and Merlin escort her back to Holistone to face her trial. Hogan promises she’ll be treated fairly, especially considering her lack of knowledge and intent in her actions.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT’S WORSE?

In one of her affinity lines it’s mentioned the Azure Seers are finally returning to the Dark Forest now that the curruption has been dealt with.

Laura is likely still alive, and likely still misses her. Illucia took not only her childhood, but her future at the same time when she turned Lily May into a weapon.

HER STORY IS SO SAD?? 😭😭 justice for my girl omg?? I’m happy she goes by Lily may now that she knows it’s her real name :,(

We're going to get more letters from the characters! I can't wait to hear what's been going on in the Ashen Wastes while we've been gone. AND LILY MAY!! SWEET LITTLE ANGEL!! I really hope things worked out for her with the trial and that she's back in the Dark Forest.

She was introduced as a dusk patroller and (somewhat) maternal character for Lily Mays character quest. I do have many questions as to why they put the cat in a borderline bathing suit but oh well.
